    It's safe to say Joan Pillow has the most beautiful wedding and evening gowns in Houston, but it's the team that truly makes it the best bridal salon in town. From my initial visit, my consultant Courtney has been absolutely amazing. The day I went dress shopping at Joan Pillow with my mom and mother-in-law is one i'll never forget thanks to the time and attention Courtney gave us. She was so friendly and patient while helping me into countless gowns and answering all of our questions. Once I found the perfect dress (which was completely her recommendation to try on!) she carefully took all my measurements to make sure the gown I picked will fit perfectly. Since that visit, she has been so quick to respond to all my follow-up questions via phone or e-mail. I truly cannot recommend Courtney or the team at Joan Pillow enough. I am so happy it was my first and last stop for wedding dress shopping!

    I visited more than several bridal shops/boutiques in the Atlanta area and always left disappointed. My mom then came to visit and we had a limited amount of time to look- upon browsing online for stores for us to go to, I happened to stumble upon Joan Pillow. I called them instantly and they accommodated us to be able to come in that day. My experience from beginning to end was phenomenal with Joan Pillow Bridal. It is a very classy bridal store and the ladies that work there are very sweet and helpful. They first dress I tried on was the one and brought my mom to tears! The alteration process went smoothly and my dress was perfect for my big day! I highly recommend them!

    I bought a 2012 Monique L dress from them that they were able to call and get for me, I absolutely loved it! They beat a deal I got from another salon and were able to win my business. Elizabeth sold me the dress and she was so sweet!! She ran into my mother in the airport the next day and went up to say hello! I couldn't believe her attention to detail and her memory- when I came in for a fitting she even remembered which sashes we had tried on when I bought the dress and she knew my voice on the phone without me saying who I was! I also can't say enough nice things about their seamstress Bettina, who took my dress in multiple times, made me a sash, and also fitted a second dress I bought elsewhere. I had friends mention this salon was snobby but I didn't have that experience at all- I would recommend them!

    From the moment I walked through the door my experience at Joan Pillow Bridal was exceptional. They made me feel comfortable and after trying on the Vera Wang Ethel, the dress I went there specifically for, I knew my search was over, and yes, I cried. :-) The wedding was in North New Jersey and they made the distance seem like nothing. I went down for two fittings and then my dress was shipped right to my house. Loved the staff and the salon is beautiful.

    My experience with Joan Pillow Bridal felt like that of a movie- the staff at Joan Pillow made me feel so special at every step of the process and I was able to meet the designer of my dress twice, one time was for a personalized fitting. I would strongly recommend Joan Pillow!

    Joan Pillow was the 3rd Bridal shop I went to and BY FAR the very best. Campbell helped pick a few dresses for me to try and I instantly fell in love with the first. Every dress in the store is stunning. No one is pushy, the appointments are very intimate and exactly the way I pictured my bridal appointment going. The lady who does alterations is also extremely talented! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Joan Pillow. I would recommend them to everyone! Make sure you ask for Campbell- she is a doll!

    I purchased my Ulla Maija/ Anna Maier dress from Joan Pillow with the help of salon specialist Campbell. The salon is gorgeous and has refined and elegant gowns from top designers. The service is amazing- you never feel pushed to buy a dress or go beyond your price point. Campbell went above and beyond to make sure I was completely happy with my dress. It is not the least expensive shop, but if you are willing to spend on the dress it is the very best experience.

    This salon was classy, accommodating, and truly made me feel like a bride. Susan especially shares enthusiasm with each bride and makes you feel like the only one in the world. My dress's beauty was indescribable. It was a beautiful Chantilly lace Monique Lhuillier gown. I was ecstatic to find the dress of my dreams.

    I looked everywhere for my perfect wedding dress. I didn't think I would be incredibly particular but I ended up really hating every big, poofy, strapless gown that I found everywhere else. Joan Pillow was my last resort because I was scared of their price point. The first dress I tried on at Joan Pillow was THE DRESS and it was perfect. Joan Pillow is not a cheap place to look for a wedding dress but they have dresses no one else in Houston (or Austin - I checked there too...) have available and their service is incredible. They have a wide range of dresses and their in-house tailoring service is phenomenal. They were very flexible with my schedule for fittings and I always had a wonderful time going in, which I can't say for the other places I visited when looking for a dress. I was completely confident the entire time that my dress would be perfect. It was delivered 15 minutes before scheduled on my wedding day and was beyond perfect. I definitely got the "wow" factor that I was looking for!

    I found my Ulla-Maija lace wedding gown at the Joan Pillow Bridal Salon in Atlanta. The small boutique was very intimate, and the high-end gowns are gorgeous! The service and attention I received while finding my dress was superb, and the shop kept in close contact with me during the process. I would recommend putting this shop on your list while looking in Atlanta.

    I live in Atlanta but got married in Houston...so choosing Joan Pillow for my wedding gown was an easy choice considering Joan's two boutiques are located in Houston & Atlanta. Joan Pillow was the first bridal salon I visited and the dress I choose was the first dress I tried on. My consultant listened to my vision for a dress and nailed it on the first pick. I felt like I was the only bride in the world during my visits. The staff catered to me and kept me informed throughout the 8 month process of my dress being made. They even shipped my dress from the Atlanta to Houston salon so that I wouldnt have to fly with it to the wedding!

    WOW!!! These women were incredible with my blush, personally designed Anna Maier dress. The dress was better than I could have ever imagined. It was the hit of my wedding!

    My experience at Joan Pillow Bridal could not have been more perfect. From accommodating my group of seven on the day I found my dress to giving me completely personalized attention along the way, I can't imagine having had a better experience anywhere else. The intimate setting allowed me to avoid feeling rushed and I was lucky enough to have the owner, Joan, as my consultant. I loved her instantly--she knew exactly what I wanted without me spelling it out and knew when I was uncomfortable or needing some guidance. She was great at reminding me to find my voice among a group that included my Mom, my cousin and four aunts and not to settle for anything other than what I had dreamed of for my special day. On top of that, my seamstress, Essie, was phenomenal and did exactly what I wanted with my veil and was so sweet each time I saw her. I truly felt like even though these sweet ladies see hundreds of brides a year, I was the only who mattered when I was there. What an awesome experience!!

    Everyone was so sweet and helpful at the salon. Alterations were done there also and turned out great. There are a ton of gorgeous dresses to try. Joan has a great selection of designer gowns. Ordered my dress and it came in about 3 months (they estimate 4-6 months) so that was a nice surprise.

    The ladies at Joan Pillow are outstanding. They listened and knew exactly what I desired for my special day. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting. They were calm, professional and unbelievable at what they do. I felt so comfortable and happy picking out my gorgeous wedding dress. The fittings were so easy as well!

    I purchased my Romona Keveza dress from Joan Pillow bridal salon, and couldn't have been more pleased! Elizabeth Jewel was the associate that helped me-- I highly recommend her, she will definitely take care of you! Only thing I wasn't too pleased about was my experience with the alterations lady, Maria. She did beautiful work, but there was a lot of confusion over pricing. Also, it seems like she's the only seamstress working at this salon (she does have an assistant), so don't expect prompt or quick service. I even had a pin left in from one of my fittings. However, I must say that the manager and the owner comped several of my alteration services as a result of this, so the customer service here truly is extraordinary.

    Joan Pillow Bridal Salon is fantastic. Mary Monday assisted me with selecting and fitting my dress. She was professional, polite, and never pushy. When one minor hiccup arose, Mary Monday immediately made everything right. The sample dresses are beautifully maintained and the quiet salon made me feel at ease and comfortable. I highly recommend Joan Pillow Bridal and Mary Monday.

    I got my wedding dress at Joan Pillow, from Mary Monday, our sales associate. I loved my dress. Loved it. And the woman who did my alterations, Stephanie, was incredible. They were also very helpful insofar as I had to come in from out of town to choose my dress and get all my alterations done, and they really worked around my schedule. Mary Monday seemed slightly scattered, though. She never seemed to remember who I was or which dress was mine - which isn't a huge deal, but I always felt for the amount of money I was spending in this place (a lot!), the service could have been a bit more attentive and professional.

    I went to Joan pillow because they had 3 designers that I was interested in. Unfortunately when I got there I found out they stopped caring Lazaro. Our sales rep had no clue what e wa doing or about the designers. She kept tryingto show me dresses that were thousands of dollars or my budget. Luckily I knew exactly what I wanted. She also had no clue how to take my measurements and seemed assistance. That salesmen was also having difficulty. I loved my inbox drop gown but it never fit quite right. The salon also didn't respond to my emails.

    Stay away, very far away. What you see is definitely NOT what you get......a nightmare experience. Ended up having to buy a dress off the rack at another store
    the week before my wedding.

    No bride needs to be as stressed and disillusioned as I was about her dress/alterations. I wish my experience on no one!
