Wayne is THE BEST! Not only does he provide incredible photos I've never seen from another photographer he is just as excellent at follow up and follow through. Our wedding was out of town for me and he was able to meet multiple times last minute to look at the site and ensure he'd be able to capture just the right images. On the day he was on time and constantly running around to catch everything...we love him! Will absolutely hire him for any other event I may do in the future, thanks Wayne for helping us capture our wedding so beautifully.

Wayne is the absolute best photographer out there! We are so happy we chose him for our engagement and wedding photos! We love every single one. All of our family and friends kept telling us how awesome he was at our wedding. Wayne even jumped on a snowboard and took photos of us snowboarding in our wedding attire! Those photos are definitely my favorite and I couldn’t imagine having anyone else capture our day! We traveled from Bismarck ND to Red Lodge MT for our wedding and Wayne traveled to redlodge as well. We will definitely make a trip back to Montana for some family photos! I definitely recommend JMK photography for all your photography needs!

My Husband and I chose JMK Photography before we even met him, I was astounded by his work. We met for coffee and afterwards we knew that we made the right choice. Talking to Wayne was just like talking to a friend! He created and shared a timeline for us and our DJ, he was so professional and helpful! We are more than pleased with how all our photos turned out. I highly recommend JMK Photography!

Wayne was a life saver for my husband and I in Montana! I had booked a different photographer all by Internet and going in blindly from Tennessee! With our photographer canceling on us the day of the photo shoot, Wayne with JMK Photography was there to rescue us! He not only agreed to take our wedding photos at the last minute, he also give us a more than reasonable price! We traveled with him for over 4 hours having wonderful conversation about life, family and Christ to the perfect spot for our photo shoot. Wayne did whatever it took to give us our “once in a lifetime” pictures that we had wanted. From sitting in partial water, laying on the ground, to coaching us with every shot, we now have absolutely breathtaking moments that we will always treasure! He was professional, personable, a Godly man, and very easy to work with. We are more than grateful for JMK Photography and Wayne and would recommend him to anyone traveling to the MT area.

Top notch photographer that captured us as individuals through the photos he took. We were married in Glacier Park and had a delay in our ceremony because of the bus transportation. He not only took amazing pictures but helped get our ceremony back on track. His ability to capture light into photography is phenomenal. We cannot recommend him enough!

JMK Photography did my daughters engagement and wedding photos. The pictures are so amazing. There was a great mix of fun and serious pictures. He was wonderful getting the 2 year old sign barer and 5 year old flower girl to pose - you should see the pictures, they are perfect!

Wayne is such a nice man, easy to talk to and fun to be around. Not once did I feel like he was in the way, yet he didn't miss anything! I totally and completely recommend him - you will not be sorry!

There are no real words to explain how amazing Wayne was. I was initially very worried about finding a photographer because I live in Colorado and the wedding was in Whitefish MT. I was also scared to just look at portfolios of photographers because my sister in law choose a photographer for her wedding that showed beautiful work. Yet, when she finally received her wedding pictures she cried because they were so bad.
I started my search by looking at photographers portfolios and narrow it to three photographers. Then I called each photographer. Wayne was upbeat and answered all my questions. When I expressed my concerns he was able to show empathy and he walked me through his process. He even created a custom package for us. During the big day Wayne was with us every step of the way and I didn't even know it! When we were taking posed pictures he made sure that we had fun with the process and let us be us. ( I could also tell that he loves his work). I also loved how he asked me what was important to me. He was so much fun to work with and only enhanced our day. By the end of it I felt like he was a long lost uncle.
Then I got my pictures! There isn't one bad picture in thousands of pictures he captured. Not only was he able to get those little special moments but he also got all the details of the wedding such as decorations, dress/shoes, ect. None of the people pictures had weird stuff - like a light growing out of a head. All of the pictures of items were tastefully arrange. When I showed my pictures off a lot of people asked if they were out of a magazine. That's how good Wayne is! And to top it all off he is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He was worth every penny and I would do it all over again. I can't put a price on what he was able to capture for us. If I ever have a renewal of vows or special event that needs a photographer I won’t even look around, I'll just call Wayne.

Loved everything about Wayne and his work. First of all, my husband and I met with him a couple days before to discuss ideas and themes we may want. He had such amazing creativity and was very open to the pictures we wanted to try. We also laughed as we came up with some fun ideas which have been a big hit with our friends and family.
As we were getting ready, Wayne was very professional (and patient) capturing all of the fun and exciting moments to the emotional ones.
Our wedding was in Whitefish in January and Wayne braved the cold and snow, crawling through it at times for low angle photos!
He does such an amazing job with lighting and angles that every picture is a keeper!
Wayne is also a very kind person. The power went out in Whitefish, knocking out the music at our reception. Wayne was kind enough to take the batteries from his gear and lend them to the DJ to get the party going again.
We would recommend Wayne and JMK Photography for any of your photo needs!!

Wayne was very helpful and responsive during the entire process! He made our day incredible, simple and worry free. We had some silly requests for shots, and not only was he up for sparkler shots, he was willing to help orchestrate them with our guests! Wayne was not only an amazing photographer, but a great guy who was so much fun to work with. Book him for your wedding now! You will love working with him and the results are well worth it!!

We hired JMK Photography for our Montana Destination Wedding this past August just based on his outstanding Photos we saw. Wayne took the time to meet with us and show us several Wedding Albums and answer all of our questions. His photos alone were a no brainer as to why we wanted to hire him, but his personality is amazing too. He was so much fun to work with and very flexible on all of our wants and needs. He did an amazing job with our photos and got them back to us within a month, which was exceptionally fast and we were so pleased with our Photos. We Highly Recommend JMK Photography. Wayne is AWESOME! We had a very simple wedding in Glacier National Park with our immediate families, and he blended in so seamlessly. With such a small group, you'd think it would be easy to get distracted with someone walking around trying to get amazing shots, but that was not the case at all! He was so easygoing, professional, and was full of amazing ideas and worked so well with everyone. Months later, our families still talk about how wonderful it was to meet and work with Wayne! (He also takes amazingly beautiful pictures - our friends and family back home were floored when they saw ours!)

In addition to working with him in person, my husband and I had a positive experience planning with Wayne over the phone and in email, as we live in Minnesota and were planning things long-distance. We also learned quickly that he knows everyone and everyone knows him - he is well-respected in the area! If you are looking for a knowledgeable, professional, easy-to-work-with photographer (especially if your event is in Glacier National Park), I would absolutely recommend JMK Photography. I wish we lived closer so we could work with him more often!!

We were married in Glacier National Park, and Wayne's knowledge of the park is amazing! He knew exactly where to take us and when the setting sun would be in just the right spot. He was so much fun and we felt at total ease. Being from out of state I was worried about finding the right people to hire, but I quickly found that Wayne is extremely respected and well-known in the area. I was blown away by the photographs in his galleries. Wayne's use of light sets his work apart. His talent shows in all of his photos, and I love every single one of my wedding photos. Every single one! I really can't say enough how happy we are. If there are any doubts, just take a look his galleries! His photographs say it all!

Wayne was AMAZING! His energy and vision for beautiful pictures was awing. I truly felt like he was a guest at the wedding he was so easy to work with. He showed up early and stayed late and took control as needed. He got my entire family to stand in the shape of a heart for a picture!!

Wayne was AWESOME! We couldn't have asked for a better photographer. We loved his open and willing attitude towards all of the ideas we had for pictures. He was very flexible and professional thru-out the wedding planning process as well as the wedding day. Even when we fell behind our timeline on our wedding day Wayne was able to capture all the photos we requested and then some. Wayne is a very personal and heartfelt person and it defiantly reflects in his work! Its nice to have someone care so much about your special day and making it be the best it possibly can, even down to the placement of your hair :). If you would like to get married in Glacier National Park, I could not think of anyone who would be better for the task. Wayne is very familiar with the park, wedding sites, and personnel working at the various areas. Great guy, not pushy, and listens to what you want.

We are thrilled with the services that we got. We chose JMK Photography for lack of other options and internet presence from other vendors. I was confident that it would be perfect because of all of the reviews and the pictures I saw online. Everything went great. Wayne knew all of the info that we didn't know. He knew the perfect place to have the ceremony and all the most beautiful places to take pictures. I was dumbfounded when my husband and I walked out of Many Glacier Hotel to see that Wayne had situated our 5 guests perfectly in a tiny rock cove with the majestic valley as their backdrop for the ceremony. It was absolutely perfect.

Wayne is a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgable of his craft. Also a major plus was how fun it was to work with him. He made my husband and I very comfortable along with the rest of our bridal party and friends. It was a blast! Right from the beginning, my husband, mom and I were very pleased with the level of service that Wayne provided. We live in Florida, but have a house in Montana and wanted to get married out in Glacier National Park. Montana is such a special place to Joe and I and we thought it would be the perfect place to get married. Wayne was very responsive and dedicated to making everything perfect for our big day. When our wedding day actually arrived Wayne went above and beyond what Joe and I had ever anticipated. We had been in numerous weddings at many different venues in Florida and Wayne was by far the best wedding photographer we had contact with! His creativity, patience and hard work are unsurpassed. When we saw a sample of some of our shots, we could not believe how beautiful they are! Wayne captures everything about the moment and captures the perfect image to have as a lasting memory of your wedding day. Wayne truly made our wedding day everything we had hoped for and I can't wait to see the rest of our wonderful images from our big day!

Our whole experience with JMK Photography was awesome! The prices were extremely reasonable and Wayne worked very hard to fit everything we wanted into a small 4 hour window. He truly went above and beyond and we would hire JMK again in a heartbeat!

Wayne officiated our elopement on July 14th at Glacier National Park. Wayne was very quick to respond to e-mails and answer phone calls. We weren't sure of the exact ceremony and vows we wanted to use so Wayne put the perfect ceremony together for us and we could've have been more pleased! He added so many personal touches that really catered to the type of couple we are. It couldn't have been more perfect :) We would highly recommend Wayne as a marriage officant.

When my fiance' and I found JMK Photography, we had only been engaged maybe a few weeks. And after the initial meeting, we knew we were done looking. The services and prices were right with our wedding budget, but it was the kindness and overall impression we got from owner, Wayne Murphy that sealed the deal. Wayne was great to work with from the beginning. Although I grew up in Montana, we were planning the wedding from Wisconsin, and he was very responsive and great with suggestions on how to organize the photography. He was also incredibly patient with our laid-back, time-is-flexible approach to getting the photos done on the day of the wedding. He was full of good humor and good ideas the whole day. The final photos were all we could have wished. We were very happy with our choice of photographers.

My husband and I looked around Missoula and couldnt find anyone that we felt fit us. JMK was suggested by a friend so we called them up and they not only met with us, but drove all the way to Missoula to meet with us! So needless to say we hired them.From every detail of spending extra time at the venue to make sure they had the lighting just right, to helping me hide out from the masses, Wayne and Vicki went above and beyond! Our pictures came out beautiful. They caught every special moment as well as all the funny ones that you miss when youre the bride and groom. Then after the wedding was over the printed out a picture for us to have that evening! Amazing people! If I had to do it all over again I would most certainly hire them, no questions asked! Apart from being an unbelievable photographer, Wayne is an incredible person. We were so lucky to have him not just for our wedding, but our engagement and newlywed shoot as well! The newlywed session also included hiking 3 miles to our favorite waterfall! He was so flexible, professional and cheerful throughout all the shoots. I could not be more pleased with everything he has done for us!! Now we have spectacular pictures and made a new friend! I highly recommend Wayne Murphy with JMK photography for ANYTHING you need.

Wayne - Oh My Goodness - Not only did you photograph our daughter's wedding beautifully but you also captured all the little details. You handled our slightly disorganized families with humor and grace but you were also the ultimate professional. Wayne was an amazing photoprapher. He was patient with our crazy family and so creative with the space and extreme sunshine we had to work with.He worked great with our florist and wedding coordinator! He got all the shots we wanted including staying a bit later to get the water shots my husband and I wanted later in the evening. He got some great shots of our family dancing and an amazing shot of my dad and I doing the poka:) Wayne and Vicky are wonderful people who would make your wedding day complete by having them do your photos. They have hearts of gold and are not only great photographers but great parents! I highly recommend JMK photography!

All i have to say is WOW! We honestly could not have asked for anything more! Wayne has produced the best pictures I have seen from a wedding yet (and I've been to a lot of weddings) and was amazingly pleasant, friendly, relaxing and accommodating in the process! From helping us coordinate the day of schedule, posting a set of stellar photos quickly after the event, to helping us rush a couple prints for our family who was leaving for Scotland days after the wedding, we could not have asked for some one better to work with!

I strongly recommend Wayne for your special photos, whatever they may be, and can guarantee you will not be disappointed! :)

JMK Photography did a fabulous job at our daughter's wedding this past July. We live in Georgia and we found them on-line. Our communication was through e-mail and phone, which worked great. My daughter and her husband met Wayne in Glacier for their engagements pictures and truly enjoyed the experience and the photos.
Wayne and Vicki went above and beyond in their role as our photographers at the wedding. They took so many interesting photographs, using a lot of cool angles, effects, etc. They were both so easy and comfortable to work with. It was amazing how well they interacted with the wedding party and the families on both sides. They went above and beyond what was expected - for example, Vicki found a golf cart for the girls to ride on instead of walking a great distance to the ceremony site. She also was able to talk a Red Bus driver into driving the bride, bridesmaids, and father of the bride to the ceremony. What a great entrance they made!
Wayne was not only our main photographer, but he was also our officiant. He was at our rehearsal helping us put together the order of ceremony, which went extremely well. The wedding day he did a great job of officiating the service, and everything flowed together so well.
I would highly recommend both Wayne and Vicki for your wedding. They were easy to work with and they worked so hard. It was sad to say good-bye at the end of the night!

First off, we would love to say Thank You so much to Wayne for doing our wedding photography! It was such a pleasure working with you! It was such a blessing that you had every detail planned out for which photos needed to be done, but also allowing us to pick and choose ones we wanted as well. My family not only enjoyed your company and professionalism, but you felt like one of the family! We were so happy that you put pictures up on Facebook within a couple days for the family to see. And having that DVD to print off our own pictures (which only took a few weeks) has made sharing photographs with the family so affordable! The quality of these photos was amazing! I just had my wedding in June and used Wayne as our photographer. My husband and I could not be happier with the photos. Wayne was extremely flexible and fun to work with, which made our wedding day much more stress free. My fiance and I scheduled our wedding for Oct. 10, picturing a perfect sunny autumn day. Well, the weather can certainly change on a moments notice, and it did. On our wedding day we woke up to snow, clouds and 20 degree temperatures. Wayne and Vicki at JMK Photography immediately went to work scouting out alternate shoot locations. They were able to coordinate the wedding parties and family members effortlessly, ensuring we got all the photos (and more!) that we asked for. Their team approach to the shoot helped everything move along at a good pace, and most of all they really made the shots fun for everyone involved. My daughter wanted to get married in Glacier National Park, Montana. We're from Illinois and the arrangements were all made via phone and internet. Considering the importance of the wedding and the factor of dealing with people we'd never met to pull off the big day, I will admit I was apprehensive to say the least. Other than a little rain, the wedding went pretty smoothly (Wayne actually decided to use an umbrella as a photo prop). Wayne Murphy at JMK Photography did a first class job of assessing the needs of the wedding and then tying it all together to showcase the natural beauty of the setting. Since we weren't familiar with the area, we followed Wayne to the Park and got a little lost and missed the wedding planner and minister. Since there is no cell phone service in the area, panic was starting to set in. Wayne kept his cool and found us a landline phone so connections could be made with the wedding planner and minister and we got back on track quickly. JMK Photography would be highly recommended for anyone needing photographic services in his area.

I'm from IL and planned a destination wedding in Glacier National Park. I did a search for photographers in Montana and came across JMK's website. The photos Wayne has on his site are amazing. I contacted him about doing my wedding. I was really nervous about the whole process because with doing a destination wedding AND doing most everything over the internet, I was always worried about "is this even a real business?" "am I going to get scammed?" If you're doing a destination wedding, have no fear!..JMK is an actual business. Wayne went out of his way to make our day as perfect as possible! He traveled all the way from East Glacier to meet us in Whitefish where we were staying at. He continued taking pictures even in the rain on our wedding day! He listens to what you want and captures that for you. Our wedding photos are beyond real! Our next trip out to Montana, we will be contacting Wayne to come do a photo shoot of us in Glacier!

Wayne and Vicki Murphy are the most delightful, accommodating, professional, skilled, and lovely-to-be-with photographers we have ever worked with, and we have a great deal of experience with professional photographers. We traveled from Kentucky to Glacier in Montana for our intimate, sweet little wedding, and Wayne and Vicki literally MADE the evening wonderfully easy and memorable for us. We have images from that night that we can enjoy well into our 90s! There is no one to have but JMK for your photography, and you will be thrilled with their work!

Since I am a photographer, being in front of the lens (rather than behind it) is unnerving. They put me more at ease than I have ever been in a shoot before in my entire life. They are THE ones to hire for images you will always love and cherish!

Wayne and Vicki were amazing to work with. Wayne's excitement and energy helped make getting through all the required wedding photos enjoyable and fun. Vicki was very organized and kept things moving so that we were able to join our guests not too long after our ceremony ended. I've only seen a few of the wedding photos, but I understand what Wayne was so excited about. They are amazing!! I can't wait to see more. Wayne Murphy ROCKS! He was exactly what we were looking for in a photographer as he went with the flow of our semi-nontraditional Greek wedding. Wayne was professional in his manner with the PERFECT amount of personality. Our guests and family made comments throughout the wedding (and several days after): "your photographer was so nice" and "don't worry, Wayne got a picture of that". Picture Perfect Experience!!!

I didn’t get to meet Wayne until my wedding day when I was already done up and stepping out of the car at the location for our first look photos. The moment I met him, he put me at ease and made me feel excited for the shoot! I was late, so he and my husband had already taken some pictures. Wayne was running back to his car to grab something when I was climbing out of mine. He took one look at me, grinned, and said, “Well, you look like a bride!” I chuckled and gave some less-than-witty response, but instantly knew it was gonna be a great experience!
When my mom had found him, she loved that he can work with any lighting because he knows how to use flash. That really came through in our pictures.
Also, he was willing to work with us when he realized that we wanted to do our first look photos in Glacier National Park. It added more hours to his wedding package, but he was willing to offer more hours in trade for other parts of the package that we didn’t want!
Wayne and his partner for the day were pleasant and fun to work with even though they were with us for most of the day! They wanted to get everything that was important to my husband and I, even shots of us with each member of our huge bridal party individually! By the end of the day, he felt like part of the family!
We LOVE our pictures and wish we could get married again, just to have him take more pictures!!
Highly recommend!!

To anyone who might be thinking about utilizing Wayne and Vicki Murphey of JMK Photography, you must read on. Choosing a photgrapher for an event as special as a wedding is a decision that should not be made lightly. After all, you only get one chance, one moment, one instant of emotion that must be captured to share with all. Wayne is the type of person that understands this and has provided us with incredible images that we will be able to enjoy and share with our family and friends.

As a groom I write this review saying that Wayne understands the value of the day being about your bride, and that she needs to feel very special. I can not count the times that my now wife has talked about how great of a time she had with Wayne and Vicki throughout the course of our wedding.

Wayne was willing to go the extra mile for us no mater what it was that we requested of him. He had great ideas and was very artistic with his photography. I'm sure that every bride and groom would probable say the same thing, but the pictures that Wayne and Vicki took of our wedding are the most beautiful wedding pictures we have ever seen.

I can not thank the Murphey's enough for all of the hard work and the level of expertise and tallent that you were able to share with us. We are JMK Photography customers for life.

Wayne was a great addition to our small mountain wedding - low key, thoughtful, and great results. We are from the mid-west, so finding a photographer without meeting him before the wedding day was a little worrisome, but we were very happy with our choice in Wayne.

My fiance and I were looking for someone to do our engagement pictures and came across JMK photography on a Google search. We were immediately drawn to his creativity and use of lighting in his pictures. When we first met with him, he was enthusiastic and full of ideas, while also being attentive and open to our ideas and expectations for our pictures.

For our actual shoot, we ended up having to reschedule twice, and Wayne was very flexible with us. He actually ended up meeting us on a Sunday, which we really appreciated. Our shoot was wonderful and met all of our expectations. If I had to sum up Wayne's professional style in one sentence I would say that he does a perfect job of incorporating his clients' expectations with his professional knowledge, expertise and creativity. He nailed all the shots we asked for, but our favorite pictures ended up being ones that he thought of once we got to the site. He did a great job of utilizing all the beauty around us and capturing our style. AND he was fun and easy to work with. I wish I could pay his way to the Caribbean to do our wedding photos!!

I would definitely recommend (and have recommended) JMK photography to anyone looking for professional portraits that are beautiful but unique.

We deeply regret hiring JMK photography for our wedding. So many details and special moments were missed throughout the day. The only picture of our cake is out of focus, there are several guests that aren’t in a single picture (I specifically requested photos of guests), tons of reception details weren’t photographed, and overall, we’re really disappointed with several of the photos we ended up with. The lack of attention to detail in our pictures blows my mind (compared to Wayne’s other work). We paid extra for a second photographer and she was nice but judging by the quality of her pictures, very inexperienced. Every picture she took is grainy. There are several gaps in photos where we’re not sure where the photographers were and why they weren’t taking pictures. Wayne arrived early, but then when it was the designated time for our getting ready pictures, we had to wait because both photographers were grabbing lunch. Wayne told us he would scope out a second location for pictures prior to the wedding and he didn’t. We sat and waited while he looked for a good location on the day of. Wayne is obviously a highly reviewed and talented photographer. After looking through several complete wedding sets and comparing our gallery to other wedding galleries that were posted with ours, we can’t understand what happened on our wedding day (we LOVED the other pictures we saw of his work). Maybe the effort wasn’t put in since we didn’t want our wedding submitted to blogs/magazines. Either way, I’m crushed that we spent over $3000 and don’t have better picture memories of our special day. I hope this review will spare someone else the same disappointment. If you are looking for a photographer with integrity, who will capture all of the little details of your special day, communicate in a timely fashion, and provide services equal to what they charge; Wayne may or may not be your guy. He certainly made our day memorable for all the wrong reasons.
