From the moment we met her at our engagement shoot, Jess made us feel like we were hanging out with a friend! For two people who don’t love getting their picture taken, she made the time we spent together comfortable and fun. She did a great job incorporating our anxious dog into the session and got some wonderful pictures of her with us. Highly recommend having an engagement shoot, because when Jess showed up on the day of our wedding, we were excited to see her again and already knew we’d love our photos. Jess had a tall task managing our large (9 on each side) bridal party, and we appreciated her taking charge and making the most of our limited time following the ceremony. Choosing the right photographer is such an important step in the planning process, and we’re so happy we made the right choice! Thanks for everything, Jess! -

We hired Jessica to document our elopement during the COVID pandemic so we'd have pictures to share with our extended family. She was incredibly professional, and took additional steps to make sure that we were all safe during our session. When we did the main photo shoot after the ceremony, she was incredibly cheery and kept us laughing. We think she truly captured who we are as a couple, and have enjoyed every aspect of working with Jess. -

I am so happy that we hired Jessica for our wedding. She is so fun and easy to work with and made us feel so incredibly comfortable throughout the engagement and wedding photos. Not only is she amazing as a person - but also an incredible photographer. We are in love with our photos. Highly recommend. -

When my husband and I first started looking for a wedding photographer, we were initially overwhelmed by the sheer number of options to choose from. We were planning our wedding in Columbus remotely from Sacramento, California. We spoke with several wedding photographers and looked through their respective websites and sample wedding albums. Jessica Miller Photography had a more refined, sophisticated sense of style and creativity and was a clear stand-out. Looking back on our wedding (just one week ago!), we are absolutely overjoyed we made the decision to book Jess for our wedding. Jess is an extremely professional, detail-oriented, easy-going, down-to-earth, hilarious individual. Right from our first telephone conversation, she answered all questions thoroughly and offered advice and suggestions when I needed. It was clear that Jess was a very experienced wedding photographer and we were relieved to hear Jess has photographed many other LGBT weddings. After we booked Jess, she was extremely easy to communicate with and would promptly respond to any e-mail communications and would offer to chat over facetime/skype if I needed. When it came time for couple and family portraits, Jess had a way of making you feel at ease and comfortable while providing clear direction and guidance on where to get photos, how to pose, where to look etc. Jess ensured that we got any and all additional photos/locations we wanted. In a last-minute decision on the day of our wedding/wedding reception, we wanted additional time of shooting at an additional location (The Leveque Hotel, where we were staying) and, as always, Jess was extremely accommodating. Jess also provided a few “sneak peak” photos roughly 4 days after our wedding that we could use to make a “Thank you” card with. The photos we have seen are stunning and we can't wait to see the final product. -

I absolutely loved my experience with Jessica. From the first meeting she was so friendly and genuinely involved in the wedding plans. She was super responsive throughout the entire process. We had our engagement photos done with her, and Jessica was so great. She drove all over the countryside with us so that we could have photos with my horse and our dogs. My husband is not the best at smiling on cue, and I so appreciated Jessica's ability to create a fun atmosphere that captured some amazing moments between us. On our wedding day, she was outstanding. She was on time, and so amazing with all of our guests. Jessica was very creative with the photos that were taken. Her assistant was also great to work with. Jessica was gracious enough to provide a sneak peek of our photos as well for our family members the following week. The wedding album that we received is GORGEOUS! I am so appreciative of Jessica and all of her hard work. She was instrumental in making our wedding day so special. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer to meet with Jessica! You won't regret it! :) -

I received many compliments from my guests about Jessica's presence at the wedding. She captured all of the important moments (both public and private) and she was well-mannered and easy-going.
