A+ BAND and Jon is the best ever!

We had our wedding on the 11th of October at The University Club. It was a 50 people wedding but the most important piece was the band for me as I really wanted to keep our friends and family dancing.

I have talked to multiple bands but the moment I talked to Jon I knew I should go with him and Red Hot Rhythm!

My vocabulary is not enough to explain how great Jon is! He is super attentive, he assures you that he got everything under control and he really has everything under control at all times. I had multiple last minute requests and he got ALL OF THEM done without any complaints. He said “he would run the show” and trust me he did. We danced the night away! Multiple guests were also curious who the band was.

Jon was the best leader to work with and he almost felt like a friend since the beginning.

Look nowhere else if you want a great band for your wedding if you don’t want to he disappointed.

Jon Simpson is The Best!

We hired Jon for our daughter’s 10/25 wedding. He thoughtfully spoke with the bridal couple and played the music they requested. In fact, he personally had to rewrite one of the cover songs so that it fit with the appropriate tempo for the “walk down the aisle”! Everyone was up and dancing from the moment the reception started to the moment we headed into the after party. We had a last minute “glitch” for the after party when we learned that location did not have a sound system. Jon came through with the necessary equipment and the party went on. Music definitely “makes” these events and in our case, Jon Simpson and his group of musicians certainly made our daughter’s wedding an event no one will forget!

Steiner wedding

Jon Simpson and Red Hot Rhythm were 🎵🎵🎵sensational! I booked them before my daughter got engaged!!! We spent endless times on phone/ text!!! Jon was SO patient!! The band is exceptional!! Much better than Hank Lane bands. The two I had seen last month had too many lulls!!! Red Hot Rhythm can play anything , and are fabulous 🎵🎵🎵! The BEST bang for your buck !!! My daughter’s friends loved!!! My friends danced all night !!!! BOOK NOW!!!! Outstanding, Extraordinary, fantastic!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎵🎵🎊🎊🥰

Awesome DJ !

Working with jerry Kravat over the last 2 years planning my wedding throughout the pandemic could not have been more of a pleasure ! Jon was amazing to work with and was so loyal and understanding throughout all the craziness! Dj mike was amazing and took all my requests and instructions, everyone was dancing all night and I never wanted to leave the dance floor !

Exceeded our Expectations!!

From our first interaction with Jon we were so happy working with them and were excited for the music at our wedding. But Manhattan Rhythm Machine exceeded our expectations! They were incredible and our guests were dancing all night long. The ceremony music and jazz trio at cocktail hour were also magical and just perfect. I highly recommend working with this group!

Thanks for an Awesome Wedding!

Jon from Jerry Kravat was a joy to work with. Friendly and down to earth, he got us excited about our wedding by thoroughly showcasing the work of their bands, as well as explaining their approach to playing our venue, which was a bit unique and complicated. They provided full audio visual for the ceremony, and even perfectly timed a surprise set as part of my sisters’ toast. They were upbeat and played an awesome party, with Jon making friends with guests, and the singers even allowing some of our guests to grab the mic and sing as we had some singers in our group. Thank you Jon and Jerry Kravat Entertainment for making it a fabulous and fun event!!!

The BEST Wedding Band

WOW! Jon made us comfortable from day one, the band was one thing I never had to worry about. He was professional, organized and a talented band leader. He worked with our budget and was dedicated to make our day special. The entire wedding my guests kept coming up to us asking how we found such a talented band? They did an incredible job and our guests could not stop dancing. We are so fortunate to have worked with Jon and his team and will definitely recommend him and use him again! Simply the BEST!!!

We cannot thank Jon Simpson and the band enough for the wonderful entertainment they provided for our wedding reception! Our guests still rave about our wedding band and the wonderful time they had dancing the night away, celebrating!! We hired Red Hot Rhythm for our reception and each member was talented, professional and FUN! Their energy and upbeat personalities kept everyone on their toes. The band knew when to slow things down and speed them back up. They read the audience so well and catered to all age groups. There was not a moment during the reception that the room was not filled with music. This band set the mood and tone of our wedding reception which will forever remain our favorite night of our lives. Thank you, thank you to Jon and his team! We are still dancing to the memories you created for us!!

Blown away!

BLOWN AWAY!!! We had the privilege of having Manhattan Rhythm Machine provide the musical entertainment for our wedding reception. Words cannot describe how amazing and truly talented this group was. Our guests varied in age, and the music brought everyone out on the dance floor! The selection of music was Top 40, and the 10-piece band delivered on each song without ever being ‘too loud.’ Songs flowed seamlessly from one to another without awkward breaks between sets which kept people on the dance floor for the entire event. Our guests still have not stopped raving about how talented the band was! Band leader and MC Jon Simpson was a pleasure to work with and a true professional on all levels. He was very helpful in giving us insight to our reception timeline and helped make the night flow smoothly. THANK YOU Jon Simpson and Manhattan Rhythm Machine…it was an absolutely incredible reception!

From the moment they began playing until the last song of the evening, Tribeca Rhythm had our wedding guests dancing non-stop. With a great, versatile song list, top-tier musicians and outstanding vocals, it was a blast. They read the crowd and built in our song requests along with all those that kept the party going. Jon and Brad are responsive and easy to work with, offering expert recommendations and were always focused on delivering a memorable experience. Best decision to work with Brad and Jerry Kravet Music for our wedding in June! Brad was extremely responsive both by phone and email before we even booked with them and answered all of our questions. Friends and family are still talking about Red Hot Rhythm. They had us groovin’ all night long! I’m so thankful to Jon + the rest of the team. They played our favorite songs, led the night with ease, and made sure the party stayed lively. People wouldn’t get off the dance floor! It was perfect for us. We had Tribeca Rhythm play at our wedding and they were absolutely fantastic. All of our guests are still talking about how fantastic the band was and we had guests at the wedding that hired them to play at another event later that year because they were so impressed. We spent a very long time looking at several bands since we felt that this was a part of the reception that would really set the tone for the entire night. What stood out about Brad and Tribeca Rhythm was that they were able to strike a balance between listening to us and understanding the kind of music that we wanted to hear while also playing to the crowd that night. When we got the pictures back from our wedding, it was incredible to see that aside from a few speeches, the dance floor was packed with our guests from the very beginning until the night ended at 1am. There was literally never a picture where most of our guests were not dancing! When meeting Brad for the first time, he was able to suggest the kinds of instruments that would work well with the type of music that we were interested in. Rather than just having a set group of instruments and then having us add on to them, they worked with our budget and made sure that we would have the right mix to create the sound we were looking for. This band is unbelievably talented. They sounded so good and I would highly encourage anyone to go see them in person if they have the chance. They learned a few new songs for our wedding as well and performed them impeccably. Brad also played the trumpet during our ceremony and played a few pieces of music that he did not regularly play perfectly. I could not be more grateful to this band for helping to make our wedding just as we had imagined.

Brad Detrick and Red Hot Rhythm were a perfect combination for our wedding reception! From the beginning of the process, it was a pleasure working with Brad. He is a true professional and understands the various elements that go into a successful wedding reception. Brad helped us with each step along the way, working with us to make our vision a reality. From creating the timeline, to setting the playlist, and crafting the perfect entrance (set to a Kesha song), Brad knew exactly what to do.

The band, Red Hot Rhythm (with Brad’s lead), kept the crowd engaged and on the dance floor the entire night. They played a fantastic variety of songs, read the crowd perfectly, and Brad kept the night flowing seamlessly. All of our guests, from our young nieces and nephews to our grandparents, enjoyed the evening, and we’ve received nothing but positive feedback! They were all very classy, and the vocals were especially beautiful. We loved having Brad and the Red Hot Rhythm contribute to our wedding day, and they also have a very reasonable pricing structure. We highly recommend working with Brad and the Red Hot Rhythm!

Tribeca Rhythm was the perfect band for our wedding! They were very accommodating, even learning a specific song at the last minute for our father-daughter dance. They kept the crowd on the dance floor all night with a wide array of songs and all of our guests raved about the band afterwards. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Jerry Kravat Productions was one of our absolute favorite vendors to work with for our wedding. Their bands are all phenomenal – the toughest part was choosing which one to go with. We decided on Rhythm Jam and absolutely loved them. They played all of our favorites and knew how to get the crowd out on the dance floor, having the time of their lives. Working with Jon throughout the planning process was also a terrific experience – he went above and beyond for us, even offering to bring in his own TV from home so we could play a video speech during the reception. He was so helpful and an invaluable part of the day; genuinely one of the nicest and most trustworthy people you will work with. Lastly, their pricing was very reasonable. I spoke with a number of other companies in New York that easily charged twice as much, offered less, and had a bit of an attitude on top of it. Jerry Kravat was a breath of fresh air after that. I can't recommend them highly enough – you won’t regret the decision.

We used Manhattan Rhythm Machine through Jerry Kravat for our wedding at the Central Park Boathouse. They were fantastic! We still have people telling us how much they enjoyed the band. My husband and I had Tribeca Rhythm play at our wedding and our family and guests could not stop raving about them. The dance floor was packed all night, they read the crowd perfectly, and Brad was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They exceeded my expectation and my expectation was pretty high! Jon is a delight to work with. We had Tribeca Rhythm at my daughter's wedding and everyone is still commenting about how amazing they were. The dance floor was packed and we all had the best time. You could tell the band was enjoying it too. I highly recommend them. They are not a huge impersonal music company and that was a big plus too. They really listened to what we wanted and they delivered.

Brad detrick led the process of organizing our wedding at Macari vineyards and they were amazing!!! We heard them at a close friend's wedding and then absolutely knew we had to have them for ours. They performed the songs we chose as well as others so brilliantly. They are simply a very talented band who has everyone up on their feet and dancing. We personally wanted a lot of pop music and they sounded authentic and energetic and absolutely killed it!

A few year's ago we heard a band called Tribeca Rhythm Machine play at a friends wedding. That night my then boyfriend (now husband) got their business card and said one day when we get married we are booking this band! A few years later the time came around and we set up a call with Jon Simpson, the band's manager. The bands energy just stuck with us all those years - even after being guests at 15+ other weddings! Jon is incredibly kind, professional and talented. He was a joy to work with and made planning the music for our wedding a breeze.

Turns out the company has a variety of bands, and after listening to them all on YouTube we booked Manhattan Rhythm Machine, which Jon is also a member of. The band had our party rocking all night long! Jon was a great MC and was wonderful at pacing out the night. He was a huge help in educating us on how to schedule the many events of the evening and was really in touch with what music our guests were responding to and wanting to hear more of. One concern our parents had was making sure music wasn't "too loud" or "too generational" and they agreed the band more than delivered on those fronts. Many friends of our parents and family members who typically don't dance were on the floor having a blast. Also, Jon arranged for our father/daughter dance to be sung in Spanish - which was a very special touch! I would highly recommend booking one of Jerry Kravitz bands!

We used the Manhattan Rhythm Machine for our daughter's recent wedding and were blown away! The process from start to finish was fantastic. Brad Detrick helped us tremendously...meeting with the couple, going through the process, suggestions on timing, and general good guidance throughout. He helped us to select the perfect soloist for the ceremony and the strings players, the music for the cocktail reception and then the band (which was stellar!). Jon Simpson was upbeat and fun as were all of the band members. The dance floor was never empty and I think they had as much fun as we did! They really seemed to care about the couple and making sure that people had fun. I would highly recommend Brad, Jon and the Manhattan Rhythm Machine, and all of the musicians who made this a memorable event. Thank you, Mimi Burke

I worked with Brad Derrick at Jerry Kravat . We also used them for our son's wedding. We used their Tribeca Rhythm band both times and I can't say enough
about how wonderful, professional, incredible the band is. Brad totally put together a fantastic evening. The music, the entertainers, especially the lead person were perfect. At each of our events, I noticed that people who never get up from their tables were dancing. Everyone told us how much they enjoyed the group. The band is one of the most important things at a party and they made every part very special from the ceremony to the cocktai hour to the party.

My husband and I used Tribeca Rhythm a for our wedding a few weeks ago after having seen them at a friend's wedding and we couldn't have been happier with our selection. Our meetings with Brad leading up to the wedding were easy and professional - he helped steer us in the areas where we were unsure what we wanted and read our tastes so well. They kept the energy level so high and the dance floor packed all night. They even picked up on things that were mentioned in the bridesmaid toast and incorporated relevant music during the dinner service which delighted us. So many people approached us to say how great the band was and we couldn't agree more. They also happened to be a great value compared with similar bands we looked at. Would definitely recommend them!

Absolutely the best band!! I originally hired Jon Simpson and Manhattan Rhythm Band to entertain at my older daughter's wedding on June 24, 2012 in Central NJ. I can't even begin to express how fantastic they were. The dance floor was filled the entire evening, and everyone had a fantastic time. Not only was the music great, but the amazing personalities of the musicians helped to make the wedding even more special. From the start, we spoke to Jon Simpson. He is a brilliant musician and so incredibly helpful and accommodating. We requested some songs that the band didn't know, but they were more than willing to learn them, and performed them perfectly. Everyone loved the band so much and are still raving about them, so, when my younger daughter was getting married on 10/11/2015, there was no question at all what band we would be using. Once again, from our first phone call to Jon, all the way through to the last song played at the wedding, everything was perfect. If you are looking for a fabulous, talented band, look no further. Definitely give Jon a call. I guarantee you will be thrilled and your guests will have the time of their lives at your celebration! Tell him Marlene recommended him!!

We were incredibly pleased with Jerry Kravat Music. We had Manhattan Rhythm Machine for our wedding, and they were awesome! They had everybody dancing all night long. For weeks after the wedding, people continued raving to us about how fun our wedding was and how good the band was.
Working with Jon Simpson was a blast. He was very interested in the details of what we wanted our wedding to be. He had the band play exactly the kind of music that we wanted, and included so many songs that we had asked for (and we asked for a lot)! They even learned several new and uncommon songs that are special to us - we were truly amazed! They made our wedding very special, personal, and memorable. Simply put, Tribeca Rhythm rocks! We first saw the band at a friend’s wedding and despite not even being engaged at the time, I turned to my now husband and said “if we ever get married, we have to use this band!” Three years later, we hired Tribeca Rhythm for our May 2015 wedding at the Hilton Pearl River and we couldn’t be happier that we did! From start to finish, our wedding was musically perfect. Brad was a pleasure to work with and helped us put together the perfect combinations for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The ceremony and cocktail hour music were beautiful and exactly what we were hoping for. The 9-piece band at the reception was spectacular! They were lively, fun, and had everyone dancing the entire night! Several months after our wedding, we continue to have guests raving to us about how great the band was! We had Rhythm Jam play at our wedding and they were incredible. They were an eight-piece band and sounded truly amazing. Our guests kept coming up to us and saying how great the band was, they were definitely the hit of the wedding. My dad (who is a musician and has been in a band his whole life) was floored by how great they were! Everyone (even my Uncle, whom I have never seen dance) was on the dance floor! Great great great great band, if you can get them, book them!!!

Jerry Kravat offers a few bands, and we had Tribeca Rhythm for our wedding. They brought a ton of energy into the reception and had our guests dancing the entire time. There were so many people out on the dance floor that people were forced to dance off of the dance floor because it was too crowded! They were engaging and sounded awesome. Everyone is still talking about how great the band was!

Brad, the band leader, was an absolute dream to work with. He made sure we knew it was our wedding and they would play what we like, but also had fabulous suggestions for us – both regarding the music selection and timing of the dances, cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc. Brad communicated well over email, and we were able to nail everything down with two in person meetings. We also used the pianist during the cocktail hour. He played a lovely selection of jazz music that went along with the feel of our wedding. They were also a very reasonable price compared to many bands out there, and better yet – they were FABULOUS!

We could not have been happier. Thank you, Tribeca Rhythm, for adding to our special day!

I used Tribeca Rhythm at my wedding and they were AMAZING!! They had all of my guests dancing for the entire night. It was so nice to see the dance floor so crowded! People are still raving about how great the band was! I am so lucky to have had Tribeca Rhythm at my wedding!

Brad Detrick was great to deal with. He was very professional and easy to talk to. He responded to our calls and emails in a timely manner. He really listened to our requests and was detail-oriented. It was obvious that he and his band, Tribeca Rhythm, are very talented because all of our guests were raving about how spectacular our band was! OUr whole family, and all the guests, said it was the best wedding ever! Some of it was us (ceremony, toasts), some was the diverse, fun-loving guests, but it was also the band. We were dancing for hours and having the time of our lives. Many people vowed they would only have this band at their future events...

Jerry Kravat Music was SUCH a delight to work with leading up to our wedding. They were incredibly knowledgeable about musical selections, and totally understood our preferences to make great suggestions for ceremony music. They also were flexible in that the 8-piece band was able to divide up into ceremony musicians and cocktail hour musicians - a huge value!! They were fabulously talented and gave our party such a fun spirit. They were one of the easiest and best vendors to work with from our entire wedding!

Jon Simpson (owner) was absolutely fantastic to work with- he is creative, professional, engaging, and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day ran smoothly. The band (manhattan rhythm machine) was terrific! They played a wide range of music we requested and some we hadn't thought of and we still have guests commenting months later how great the music was. Jon really paid attention to detail and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for any of our friends!

I had my wedding on New Year's Eve in New York City. My guests were expecting a great party, and this band delivered. I requested very soft music with no vocals during the dinner, so that our guests could talk with each other and they were just perfect. The mood was elegant during the meal and then smoothly segued into fun dance music. People were dancing the entire night. During the stressful wedding planning stages, they were polite, professional, and easy to work with. Many of my guests said that it was the best wedding that they had ever been to. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I used Jerry Kravat for my ceremony music, reception band, and after-party DJ. The music during all three portions of our wedding was excellent! We had a string quartet, Claremont Strings, for the ceremony as well as an additional musician, Paul Mueller, who played a traditional Indian piece during the ceremony (my husband is from India); these musicians also played during the "invitation" time and cocktail hour. The band - Manhattan Rhythm Machine - kept everyone on their feet dancing all night long! Our guests started chanting, "One more song!" at the end of the evening, and the band obliged and played an extra song for us. We also had an after party where Dr. Bert was the DJ - he kept the party going and everyone dancing until 2am. Many guests have commented to me on how great the band was and on how much they enjoyed the music throughout the entire evening.

Manhattan Rhythm Machine is AWESOME!!! We contact them before we even finalized a date and venue. We worked with both Brad and Jon throughout the planning and they were both great. The process was so easy and my husband and I had a great time meeting with Jon in person to finalize the details before the wedding. He is so professional and happy to accommodate all of your wants and needs from the ceremony and cocktail hour through the reception. MRM played at my sister's wedding in 2005 and even though some of the musicians changed since then, they were every bit as wonderful. They are 100% focused on making sure your guests have a fabulous time and take care of properly timing the reception - coordinating the food, speeches, dancing, etc. All of our guests had a wonderful time dancing and EVERYONE has commented on how great the band was. Tribeca Rhythm is without a doubt the best band you will ever have for a wedding. they are just AMAZING! Richard,Diane and Sonija,the vocalists, were incredible. Everybody we spoke to the next day commented on how great the band was. Brad Detrick, the band leader was constantly in touch with us and had great ideas. he is the ultimate professional.

I hired Jerry Kravat for my ceremony (2 pieces), cocktail hour (4 pieces) and reception (DJ Bert Morgan). Everyone was great from beginning to end. The initial meeting was easy and I felt like I was in great hands. The live musicians were awesome - super talented. Bert Morgan was just AMAZING! We used Rhythm Jam for our wedding a few weeks ago. I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience it was to have this band at our wedding, and to work with Jerry Kravat Music in general. On the business end, we worked with Brad who was professional, kind, and helpful since the moment we met him. He truly cares about making your event perfect and I never had any doubts that our wedding would go smoothly as far as the music was concerned! We used 2 musicians for the cocktail hour and they did a fantastic job, then Rhythm Jam for the reception was absolutely wonderful. The dance floor was packed the whole night and our guests loved every minute of it. I would work with Jerry Kravat Music again in a heartbeat if I were planning another event. This was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding!!

We cannot say more wonderful things about the band Tribeca Rhythm! We booked them for our wedding in May based on a recommendation from a friend who had seen them at another wedding and we are so glad we did. From the very beginning, Brad, the band leader, was incredible at communicating with us to make sure we got everything we wanted out of a band for our wedding. The month leading up to the wedding he was constantly in touch with us to hammer out all of the details to ensure the day of went smoothly. He was incredibly kind and friendly to work with and also very professional. The performance was AMAZING! Everyone raved on and on about how awesome the band was and they did an incredible job of getting the crowd involved and on the dance floor all night long. They exceeded our expectations for sure. A few highlights; 1) they also performed our ceremony music and it was beautiful and perfect for our setting. 2) the band was incredibly adaptable and learned a song specifically for our wedding which was amazing and such a nice touch 3) listen to brad's recommendations! he had suggested the idea of playing a few dance songs at the very beginning of the reception rather than sitting down to dinner right away and we were very hesitant because we had never been to a wedding where that happened but we finally gave in and decided to do it and it was the best decision. Everyone loved it and it really helped set the tone for the night and got everyone excited about all the amazing music to come. 4) All around incredible people and performances. Everyone in the band was incredibly friendly and seemed like they were having just as much fun as us which made the evening even better. I would recommend them to anyone out there planning a wedding right now - it was definitely one of the greatest investments we made!

Jerry Kravat was the perfect vendor for our nontraditional wedding party. We needed a DJ for a party my husband and I threw before leaving for our destination wedding. For all intents and purposes this WAS our wedding (the destination ceremony was tiny, only 16 people), so we needed someone who could handle our friends and family. Brad at Jerry Kravat introduced us to Dj Dr. Bert and it was the perfect fit. Bert was available through calls and emails right up to our event. He played everything we asked for and threw in plenty of surprises for music - We loved it. I just wanted to thank you, Lance, Kim and the entire band for a phenomenal wedding on Sunday. A band is such an essential part of the evening and we cannot tell you how many people came up to us and told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended. The music was amazing. Not only friends, but my 81-year old uncle came up to me to tell me how much he enjoyed it. He was dancing at the very end of the party - the first time I had ever seen him hit the dance floor! And the dance-off between me and my nine-year old nephew which was motivated by the incredible tunes you played we will never forget. My legs are still sore from that marathon session.

We had the Manhattan Rhythm Machine for our wedding and were simply blown away by how amazing they were. It is often said that the band makes the wedding. This was certainly true for us. The Manhattan Rhythm Machine (led by Jon Simpson) was so fantastic that people could not stop dancing and are still talking about what a great party it was!

We had Red Hot Rhythm as our wedding band and I can say without a doubt that they were the BEST decision we made with our wedding planning. From the first meeting with Jon Simpson to the very last song at our wedding, the experience was extraordinary. Our guests are still raving about the band being the best wedding band they have ever heard and my husband and I could not have been happier with the music throughout. Lance and the Red Hot Rhythm delivered a top notch performance, getting the guests up and dancing and also allowing for some downtime for food and speeches. One of our biggest concerns in hiring a band was to not have it be so loud that people complain and I did not hear a single complaint about the volume all night. We hosted a wedding at the Four Seasons in Baltimore. We had guests from all of the country - all ages. The Manhattan Rhythm Machine perfomed and the croud was absolutely engaged. We can not say enough about this band. We were ALL delighted. Everything was in place for a spectacular wedding and Manhattan Rhythn Machine was OUTSTANDING. Jon Simpson (manager) paced the music , paced the energy and provided a collection of musicians/singer that strectched from Otis Redding to Lady Gaga to Adele. They excelled in all genres. The singers and musicians were so engaged and were enjoying themselves as well .
If you want to have your guests talking about the incredible band --- choose this band. We are still hearing raves - two months later. We had 10 pieces and rocked the house. The after party was amazing with the DJ. "Twenty somethings" danced all night long.
We used this band again with 4 pieces at a dinner party. Excellent .

Tribeca Rhythm was out of this world. I am 24 hours removed from our wedding and felt compelled to find an outlet to show our appreciation for the band. In particular, the band leader Brad Detrick(who is also the general manager) was unbelievable. He was a consummate professional and helped us with things beyond the music while we were trying to navigate our wedding post Hurricane Sandy. We had Red Hot Rhythm for our Sept 1 wedding at Addison Park and they were AMAZING! I would give them the highest of recommendations. First of all, Jon is a DOLL to work with. He is so patient, accommodating and responsive. I called or emailed a lot and he always got back to me right away. In fact, of all the wedding vendors I had, I was the most comfortable with this band. I had no doubt in my mind that they would be amazing and I was very comfortable with them. On the wedding day I was extremely impressed by them. They have an amazing stage presence, look very cool and sound fantastic. They had everyone on the dance floor all night. Several guests commented that they thought a CD was on but then saw it was actually the band-- thats how good they sound. They had a wide range of music from Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra to Call Me Maybe to the Tarentella. We had some last minute changes like who we were announcing as part of the wedding party (one person could not be there) and they were able to change these details around last minute. We had some "cues" in our first dance like to call out the rest of the wedding party when we had a dip, and they were flawless in all these details. Also most other bands put on a CD when they take a break to eat their dinner, but this band had someone on stage live at all times. Book this band and you won't be sorry. They are worth every penny for an amazing wedding!

We worked with Jon at Jerry Kravat Music, and he was also the band leader on our wedding day! We used Manhattan Rhythm Machine, which met and exceeded our expectations! They were a pleasure to work with in every way...from initial conversations, to planning, and our course on our big day! He made the entire process seamless, easy, was always flexible on schedule and really listened to our wants/needs. When deciding on father/daughter and mother/son dance songs, my husband picked a song that they were not as familiar with but they worked on the arrangement and it sounded great on our wedding day! Jon was always responsive to questions we had even in between our set meetings and was the consumate professional in every aspect along the way...and was really fun to work with! All of our guests had an unbelievable time and could not stop talking about how awesome Manhattan Rhythm Machine was! Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night! We also used some of the musicians from the band for our ceremony (jewish) and cocktail hour which really set the mood for each. They also worked well to coordinate with our Cantor on the ceremony music which she sang to, and it all sounded beautiful. Jerry Kravat Music was AMAZING!

DJ Bert Morgan did a perfect job in taking what we had as "must play" songs and supplementing that with his own choices. We had some unique requests and he was more than willing to accommodate all of our needs. Jerry Kravat Music does a great job in working with you before hand to really understand the music you like and want to hear, along with planning out the reception.

We also had a roving violinist from Jerry Kravat Music who was great.

This is a top-tier company and will provide only the best in music! I would (and have) recommend them to my friends for their weddings.

Just amazing. A real band with real serious talent. The male lead vocal, the female lead vocal, every musician. There is no way you can hire this band and have a bad evening. I am so GRATEFUL that I had these people to play at my wedding.

Brad Detrick was kind and helpful in guiding us through the moments the band would announce. The administrator who originally helped us, Jon, was also very clear and helpful.

The dance floor hopped all night and yet the people who sat in the back area to talk were not overwhelmed. And our friends who ballroom dance were in heaven. Latin dancing, Motown, swing. I wish we could spend more nights dancing like this!
Its the biggest party we will probably ever throw and this band delivered. Hire them.

You couldn't ask for more, Manhattan Rhythm Machine were absolutely fantastic. The arrangements and vocals were off the charts. Their attention to detail and ability (and desire) to accommodate special request was amazing. We knew they were a great band but perhaps the most impressive and lasting memory of having them was the interest and sincerity they exhibited in making the event the special day that we will surely remember. We hired the NY dream band! They were OFF THE HOOK! Everyone loved them... they set up were professional and fun from the first note... This band listened to us about what to play and what not to play... they were fluid, read the crowd and were SOO FAR FROM CHEESY! So much better than their video even!!!

If you want people to dance and have your people hear some great music Hire these guys, then invite us! lol...

Jon Simpson from Jerry Kravat came highly recommended to us for our October 2011 wedding in Greenwich, and I must say that he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He went out of his way to make us feel so comfortable and assured us we would have a fantastic night......and he definitely came through! We were more than happy with our choice of using Rhythm Jam for our wedding. From start to finish, the flow of the evening was just perfect. All of our guests were on the dance floor the entire night. I would HIGHLY recommend Rhythm Jam.....the band made our wedding a night we will never forget.

People are still talking about the band from our wedding, Manhattan Rhythm Machine. Even guests who work in the music industry were impressed. They played the perfect mix of what we'd requested and more that matched our tastes. Ours was a cocktail-buffet wedding at a small venue in Manhattan; we were concerned about the size of the dance floor, how many pieces would sound best in the space, etc. One of the band organizers actually went to the venue weeks before the wedding to check it out.
The band was fun, so talented, professional, responsive to the crowd - they absolutely made our wedding.

We had a great experience using John and the Manhattan Rhythm Machine Band. The band was enthusiastic and easy to work with. They have a great presence and know exactly the right songs to play to keep the crowd energetic and dancing. The crowd danced for the entire night. You will not be disappointed!

This is the third wedding that the Jerry Kravat’s team has performed for a family wedding. Being the last girl in the family, we called Jon Simpson two days after getting engaged and before finding a location to make sure he was available for us. If you want the very best, you won’t get better than them! They are the BEST of the BEST. Our wedding was rocking all night long, and that’s all thanks to Jon and his crew. From the photographer to the videographer to the Stamford Yacht Club ( our venue) they all said they have never been to a wedding where the entire wedding was on the dance floor, right after the first dance! My venue called me two weeks after the wedding stating “ It was the best they ever had at SYC.” We danced so much, my husband and I forgot to cut the cake..opps! Not only is Jerry Kravat’s a dynamite group of performers, but they run a great/ trust worthy business.

As an event planner and someone who frequents one too many weddings a year, I have yet to find a band as talented as this group. Jon and group… we love you guys and thank you again, for making our wedding everything we had hoped for and more! Perfect way to send the last daughter off!!!

We used Tribeca Rhythm for our wedding and every person in attendance was just floored by their energy and vocals. We had a large party - about 200 people - and everyone was dancing the entire night. Diane and Richard both brought so much soul and spirit to their songs... we could not have asked for a better band. When anyone brings up our wedding, the first thing they mention is how Tribeca Rhythm just rocked the party all night! Friends have already booked them for their own weddings they were so good.
We were so very happy with Tribeca Rhythm and would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone. They interacted with the crowd, were a good value, and Richard and Diane rocked our party until the last minute. The band was a pleasure to work with, start to finish.

Manhattan Rhythm Machine played at our wedding weeks ago and guests are still talking about how much they loved the music and entertainment.

The musicianship, awareness of the crowd and timing in terms of which songs to play at each moment of the party were excellent. The setup and logistics were seamless. It was as if the music just appeared out of nowhere and the party just came alive.

Wedding parties are always memorable events, but this band really made our party unique and the guests had a great time. To top it off, my dad played two songs (drums) with the band and they totally rocked the party.

My husband and I booked Tribeca Rhythm for our wedding on 18th August 2011. Suzanne and Richard had the guests moving all night long and even got up to dance with my husband's very shy niece. The music was definitely the one thing we didn't have to stress about, Suzanne was great to work with and understood the vibe that we wanted for the day. SO amazing!!!!!! Over and over and over again, my friends told me after the wedding the most memorable thing was the music. I think it's fair to say (and maybe I'm a bit biased as it was my wedding, but I'm also a musician and know good music) that it was the most kick-ass wedding band ever. They played every song I wanted, nothing that I didn't, and got everyone up and moving. I have recommended them to everyone!

This band MADE the night! We had an older and smaller crowd, and a bunch of people that promise they "don't dance". Red Hot Rhythym had EVERYONE off their seats the entire night. The lead singer came out onto the dance floor and pulled people into the fun- everyone is STILL talking about our band even 4 months later. Thank you so much Red Hot Rhythym!!!!

Jerry Kravat Music was great! The strolling violinist was a great hit at the cocktail reception and DJ Bert! was the perfect choice for our reception. He was great to work with and was willing to really put effort into making our reception memorable. We couldn't ask for a better company to work with. Jon was very helpful in the initial meeting, showing us our options with clips from different bands and DJs and working to provide us with the perfect package. The strolling violinist was simple to organize. DJ Bert! made the music planning simple as well. We met a number of times with Bert prior to the event to go over the logistics and our requests. Bert actually took the time to reconfirm all our selections prior to the wedding. He even got copies of songs by specific artists (Can't Help Falling in Love with You by Bocelli rather than Elvis). Bert did a great job at the reception and really helped to get everyone on the dance floor and celebrating our wedding. We would certainly use Jerry Kravat again and recommend them to our friends.

We used Tribeca Rhythm at our Nov 13 wedding and could not have been happier. The band is so talented and kept the party going all night long. All of our guests commented on how amazing the band was and we could not agree more. In addition to talent of the band, was also the fact that Jerry Kravat was so easy to work with throughout the entire wedding process. They made the planning stress free. We could not recommend them enough!

My Wife and I had Tribeca Rhythm play our wedding on October 17th. I cannot say enough good things about this band. They had an amazingly diverse set list so for whatever occassion, they have the right songs to play. They kept the party from start to finish. I was even lucky enough to jam with them for 2 songs at the end of the night. Seriously, for the price this band charges, they are an absolute steal. They will work with you in any way to make your event wonderful. WIth all the other things we had to stay on top of for your wedding, the music was the one thing we didn't have to worry about. Anyone who throws a party knows, the music is the most important part for your guests to have a good time! Thanks guys for making our wedding fantastic.

We booked their band called Tribeca Rhythm and were beyond thrilled with their performance. They got people from all backgrounds and ages dancing and happy, and by the end of the night even the staff couldn't hold back and all the bartenders and waiters were dancing too! A friend is now using them at their wedding--book them quick! You will NOT be disappointed!

We had Rhythm Jam play at our wedding and they were amazing! They played an eclectic mix of funk, rock, and standards. They interacted with the crowd and looked like they were having a great time with up there on stage. Our friends are still raving about the band three weeks after our wedding!

AMAZING! We worked with Jon have our dream wedding, which needed a perfect blend of American (motown, Frank Sinatra, modern, Italian, ect) and Polish music. We booked Red Hot Rhythm and members Polski Rhythm and they worked perfectly together. We requested to have our wedding party walk into the intro of enter sandman, we walked into kick start my heart...they whipped it up only a few days before the wedding with out a problem. They were nothing short of perfect and a complete joy to work with. There wasn't a guest that didn't dance all night. I highly recommend them! The price will be different for different bands and because we booked two and added the lighting...so I estimated what a basic package would be.

They also played during the cocktail hour and the music did not stop one throughout the reception.

They are amazing! I dealt with Jon, a member of the Manhattan Rhythm Machine and one of the people in charge of the back and forth that goes along with running these fantastic bands. He could not have been more helpful in the months leading up to the wedding. He was very responsive, answered the countless questions I had for him, and put on the show we were hoping for! They learned the song for our first dance, played songs not on the list of songs they provide for our ceremony, and absolutely blew us out of the water at the reception! I was confident I made the right choice before the wedding, and 100% sure I did ever since! Yes there were there hiccups along the way, but nothing that anyone else at the wedding would have noticed. I would recommend this organization one million times over, you won't be disappointed.

Despite being a professional classical musician, I did not know much about dance bands except that I was sure I wanted live music for my daughter's wedding. And I could recognize good playing and singing when I heard them! Brad helped me figure out the best personnel for our needs. We were thrilled with Tribeca Rhythm and their responsiveness to our multi-generational taste. Because the couple live in California, prior to the wedding they had to communicate by phone and internet, but I had a chance to view video in the Jerry Kravat offices and to speak in person with Brad Detrick. We also used his fine trumpet playing for the processional and recessional fanfare music in a garden wedding. A smaller band played at the cocktail party and then the full complement of players were at the dinner dance. Because we asked them, we were able to have jazz part of the time, and more pop dance music the rest of the time. They know a large repertoire of songs and were able to play all of our requested favorites. Our guests are still telling us how much they enjoyed the band. The individuals are fine musicians and they also work together in a tight ensemble. They were already familiar with our venue--The Brooklyn Botanic Garden--so that was an added benefit.

As the mother of the bride, Rhythm Jam was an amazing band !. Not only are they extremely easy to work with and very professional, but their music and the excitement that they created at our daughters wedding was fantastic, The music is critical to insure all the guests have a great time. They listened to our request of quiet ,classic music during dinner and great dance party music for the rest of the night! The dance floor was packed the entire evening! Everyone wanted to get up and dance. Hands down they are the best !

Manhattan Rhythm Machine and Jon Simpson were off the charts. The performance at the wedding was incredible- the quality of instrumentals and vocals were just great throughout the night. I had the pleasure of being the maid of honor at my sister's Tribeca Rooftob wedding in NYC and getting a chance to work with Rhythm Jam.... a killer band who played exactly what and how we wanted and had people dancing into the wee hours of the morning. As an aspiring singer myself, I wanted to sing the first dance for my sister, and of course they learned the song I asked them too, in my key, and IT COULD NOT HAVE TURNED OUT MORE PERFECTLY (with no rehearsal!!) ... with Jon in charge and all of the professional, top-notch musicians behind him, you can't go wrong.

In the months leading up to my wedding, I spent tireless nights hemming and hawing band and DJ, but in retrospect, I can say without a doubt that Jerry Kravat was one of the very best vendor investments we made!
When I first met with Brad from JKO, I had just planned to hire DJ Bert (who came highly recommended by a friend), but the minute I saw a clip of Tribeca Rhythm - I knew we had to have them too! After seeing the clips of the and DJ, I was so impressed by the quality of Jerry Kravat's musicians that I worked with Brad to create a custom line-up for the entire wedding - from the very first step down the aisle, to the very last dance of the night. And they certainly did not disappoint - every performance was absolutely phenomenal! Our guests positively raved about the music and every time we watch our wedding video, we are more and more impressed! I cannot thank the Jerry Kravat family of musicians for all that they did to make our wedding PERFECT!

Jon and Manhattan Rhythm Machine were great. They were flexible in terms of our budget and the type of music we wanted to have at our ceremony. They also let the groom's college band get up and play a couple of songs. We got amazing feedback from many of our guests about the band, and even some inquiries for future events. I would highly recommend them!
