  Run, don't walk to book this band!

  Run, don't walk to book Jason Kendall Productions for your wedding!!! Music is important to my family, and we knew that we just had to have a live band for our wedding reception. After doing a ton of research, I'm so happy that we decided to book Jason Kendall Productions!!1 We had a jazz set during cocktail hour and the full band during our dancing reception, and the dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night. Jason made planning SO easy for us, and was super accommodating with requests. They even let my brother (who is a professional drummer) play a song during our reception, which was such a special moment we are so grateful for! Our guests raved about the band all night long and we are STILL getting compliments! They are kind and so so talented. I would highly recommend them for any special event!!!

  Best wedding band in Pittsburgh you will find!

  Jason and his band were an absolute highlight of our wedding day! From the start, their organization and genuine care for our special day shone through. We could tell that Jason was truly invested in providing the best music experience for us. Despite our busy schedules, Jason was always quick to respond to our emails, showing his dedication to making sure everything ran smoothly.
  
  The band's performance during our cocktail hour, our first dance (the female singer was absolutely fantastic), and the beginning of our reception set the perfect tone for the evening. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the music, and the dance floor was packed right from the start! The energy and class they brought to our event were unparalleled, creating a fun and sophisticated atmosphere that we had hoped for.

  Outstanding Experience

  We cannot say enough good things about Jason Kendall Productions. We initially met with Jason as we considered their band for our August 2024 wedding. Not only did Jason give us a comprehensive overview of what they provide, but he invited us to two different events at which they were playing for us to hear them.
  
  We coordinated our ceremony music (Radiant Strings), cocktail hour music (Jason Kendall Productions - Jazz Trio), and reception music (Jason Kendall Productions Band) all through Jason Kendall Productions. Throughout the entire process Jason was incredibly responsive helping us plan our music for the day.
  
  I cannot say enough about the caliber of talent within Jason Kendall Productions. Their vocals and musical abilities were incredible. Their cover of our first dance song, You Are The Best Thing, was amazing along with our parent dance songs including My Girl, Where You Lead I Will Follow, and Through the Years.
  
  Throughout the reception, Jason and his team planned a set list that kept guests on the dance floor all night. Jason was flexible to our song requests and the mix of songs they played was popular among all of our guests regardless of age.
  
  We had so many of our guests come up and tell us that they had never had such a great time dancing at a wedding and that they loved the band.

  The best wedding band!

  Jason Kendall Productions played for my sister’s wedding and did such an amazing job that we hired them for our wedding in Virginia.
  
  Jason + team played acoustic for our ceremony, he sang and played guitar for our cocktail hour and the full band played for our reception. The dance floor was packed all night, and they played such a variety of music for all guests to enjoy. Every guest we talked that night and into the next day said how amazing they were. Some of the comments we heard from people were: “every song was a hit”, “I wish I hired them for my wedding”, “this feels like a concert. They are rocking so hard” and other people took their business cards since they loved them so much and wanted to hire them for their events.
  
  I was on the fence about band or DJ and I have absolutely no regrets hiring Jason Kendall Productions. I highly recommend them whether locally to Pittsburgh or a destination!

  Everyone needs to experience Jason Kendall Productions!!!

  I have none Jason Kendall and his band for years as they have played at a few events we have attended and hosted. They recently provided the music and entertainment for my wedding and I could not have asked for a better band and party! They did a great job getting everyone on the dancefloor and playing music that appealed to every one there. Jason is extremely communicative and easy to work with and was quick in response to every question leading up to wedding day! Hiring Jason Kendall productions will be one of the best decisions you make for your event!

  Incredible!

  I saw Jason Kendal play at an event- I danced the entire night and he was a big hit with the crowd so I asked him after about playing our wedding. The pricing was very competitive and the live band really adds a magic to the night. Every one of our guests had a blast dancing- his set list was perfect and the band sounded super tight.

  From our first point of contact, Jason was extremely responsive, professional, organized, & kind. He really took the time to figure out exactly what we wanted as far as music played and timeline for our evening. The evening ran so smoothly having Jason in charge of introductions, speeches, dances, etc. He is an amazing MC and an extremely versatile and talented musician. Prior to our wedding, we watched Jason and his band play at various events around the city and they were consistently 100000/10 amazing every single time. The dance floor was consistently packed and every single guest raved about the band! Recommend to anyone and everyone!

  JKP rocks Hilton Head Island, SC Wedding

  Jason Kendall Productions is everything you could ask for in a wedding band. I come from a family of musicians and have played in local cover bands for the majority of my life. My wife and I (and the majority of our wedding guests) are avid live music lovers. When tasked with choosing a band for our wedding, I wanted more than anything to find a band that my wife and our guests would be impressed by. After seeing Jason perform in my hometown of Hilton Head Island, SC and talking with him the same night, I realized JKP was exactly the band that I was hoping to find. Here’s a couple of reasons to hire them: Jason truly cares about making your wedding day special. He was never reluctant to any of our wacky requests and his genuine approach and years of experience put my wife and I at ease in what was a very stressful time in our life. They are not only amazing musicians but they are amazing entertainers. They played music for our ceremony, MC’d the entire night, performed a relaxing Jazz set for our cocktail hour, learned one of our favorite Weezer songs, got all of our guests to dance all night with their wide range of material, and flawlessly sung and performed difficult songs from artists most wedding bands wouldn’t dare to attempt- like Under Pressure by Queen and Highway to Hell by AC/DC. I can’t express enough thanks to JKP for making my wedding day unforgettable. Do yourself a favor and hire this band!

  A+ wedding band

  Jason and his band were excellent. They brought a lot of energy to their performance, curated a solid setlist, and kept guests of all ages dancing throughout the night. Jason was helpful and responsive throughout the planning process and offered great value, too. Would strongly recommend these guys to anyone who is getting married in the broader Pittsburgh region!

  They played for our wedding this past weekend and we could not be happier. The band was absolutely fantastic all night.   Best decision I made

  ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. From the moment they started playing at cocktail hour people were finding me to tell me how amazing they are. During the reception they kept everyone on the dance floor, read the room and played AMAZING music. They are all so talented and have such great energy. There was never a moment when there was not people dancing. Highly highly recommend!!

  The Best Wedding Band Ever

  If you need entertainment for your wedding the Jason Kendall Productions is the place to go. They did the ceremony, cocktail hour and provided the best dancing music for my daughter's wedding I have ever heard. No one left the dance floor. Our 240 guests were wowed by them.

  Prior to our wedding I already knew Jason as a talented musician and wonderfully nice person. I was blown away by his band as soon as they started to play. Jason went above and beyond to make our wedding special. He listened to all of my requests ahead of time and followed through during our reception. I wish I was at our cocktail hour to hear them play during that part of the evening. Numerous guests called them the best wedding band they had ever heard. Guests who didn’t normally dance at weddings were on the floor all night long with us. I cannot recommend Jason and his band enough.

  These guys don't live in just one genre; they're perfect to entertain your drunken college friends AND grandparents alike. Music is something that everyone experiences and remembers at your wedding, so find a way to work these guys into your budget! This band ROCKS and it was all everyone was talking about on our wedding night and morning after. They have a great reputation, very professional, loads of experience in weddings & events, their set list is so impressive and growing all the time. Can't say enough good things. Jason has a way of feeling the crowd, doing the right thing at the right time so as to not kill the mood. The flow of the night and timing of speeches, songs and special dances was perfect.

  We were very proud of our decision to have Jason and his band at our wedding. As a musician myself I was picky choosing our entertainment and they were the perfect choice. Jason did a wonderful job assisting in our ceremony, playing with the jazz cocktail trio and MC’ing the reception.   There Are No Words (In the Best Way)!

  I don't think words can adequately explain how awesome it was to have Jason Kendall and his band at our wedding at the DoubleTree in Downtown Pittsburgh. We planned our Pittsburgh wedding from Washington State where we live so we heavily relied on The Knot to find our vendors. We decided on Jason Kendall early on and it was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding weekend. He was super easy to work with and was open to pretty much any request that we asked of him and the band. We hired them for an extra hour and added the female singer, which adding her was also a great decision as she absolutely killed it the entire night. They played Marry Me by Train live for our first dance as husband and wife and let me tell you, it was better than Train singing it live. Their rendition of it was just magical. Jason took complete control of the reception as MC and his worksheet that he had us fill out for the schedule of the night made it super easy to plan out the entire reception. We got so many positive comments from our guests about the band. Everyone loved them and our guests danced the night away and were very receptive of the band as they performed. With the guests being so receptive of the band the band in return gave a killer performance the entire night. There was not a point in the night when the entire dance floor was not occupied by our guests. You will NOT be disappointed if you hire Jason Kendall for your event! Very professional and they sound amazing! Would recommend them 11/10!

  Life of the party, Professional, Fantastic

  Let’s just start off by saying that this band is top notch and the best with every style they play and they have a wide variety. It’s been 3 months since our wedding and our guests are still ranting and raving about how amazing the band was. Jason Kendall Productions truly made the reception so memorable. All of our guests were on the dance floor the entire evening! We provided a long list of song requests that we had and they implemented those songs into the reception perfectly. Their selections during dinner were appropriate for the mood and volume. Then it came time for dancing, and not one person was in their seat! They are truly talented musicians and each band member brings their own dynamic to the performance. They made our wedding exactly what we wanted it to be! Their professionalism, kindness, and communication promptness were first class. My husband, John and I cannot thank Jason Kendall Productions enough for a wedding reception of a lifetime. Hiring Jason Kendall Productions for your wedding reception is the best decision you can make and they are worth every penny.

In addition, we hired Jason and another guitarist to provide music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Truly, they did it all: Jason emceed the evening, put together a playlist for during dinner, played the hora AND the bridal polka, provided sound equipment for the ceremony, and even allowed the groom's father (a drummer) to join for a guest spot during the reception!   When you hear guests say things like, "I had an amazing time" and, "Best reception ever," you know you did a thing or two right planning your wedding reception. And one thing we nailed was hiring Jason Kendall Productions to provide the music for the cocktail hour (jazz trio) and reception (dance band). Musically, this band is top notch with every style that they play, and there is a WIDE variety! Their selections during dinner were appropriate in terms of mood and volume. When it was time for dancing, they played the perfect mix of songs and really engaged with the people on the dance floor. The band was a huge hit with guests, and in the days after the wedding reception Nick and I found ourselves slammed with "Who WERE those guys?" texts. Even the "Weddings are no fun" crowd was entertained!
  Aside from the music, there are so many things we loved about working with JKP. First is Jason Kendall himself, who is your main point of contact. Jason was professional, quick to respond to emails, and was thorough. Because he also emcees the reception, he made sure to review things like pronunciation of names and the sequence of events ahead of time. We felt that between Jason and the venue coordinator, everything was under control and we could enjoy ourselves. The venue coordinator even commented that he was a pleasure to work with. Second were all the "little things" that they added to surprise us. For example, they coordinated the color scheme of their neck ties to the color scheme of our wedding. Nick and I are frequent visitors to Disney World and so there were slight touches of Disney throughout our day. Somehow JKP caught on to this and surprised us with an instrumental "Someday My Prince Will Come" during dinner and a recording of "Just a Spoonful of Sugar" during the cake cutting. I

  Jason Kendall Productions is the best band to work with! We used them for our wedding, and we were beyond impressed. Jason Kendall is very flexible and easy to work with. He is also on top of communication and will get back to you quickly. I mostly loved the versatility of this band. They had a guitar soloist during cocktail hour, a jazz trio during dinner, and a dance band at the end of the night (all among this 4-person band). They also could go from Prince to Justin Timberlake to Darius Rucker like it was nothing. They are incredibly talented. Many times I would hear a song and think, "They must have gone on their break." No- It was them! They sounded like the original artists! Our guests are still telling us how much fun our band was! The dance floor was always packed! They are also very flexible with song modifications. My father and I wanted to mix two songs for our father-daughter dance, and they said, "No problem." They did it flawlessly! I also want to mention that their prices were very reasonable. They were cheaper than many competitor bands who wouldn't do the extended cocktail and dinner service. Many other bands do not have their versatility. I cannot recommend this band enough. I want to hire them again for future events!
