Janis has a keen eye for detail which is shown in the quality of her work. She is consistently professional and courteous. On the day of our wedding, she kept us on point with our busy schedule. My husband and I had an evening Fall wedding and were astonished at her ability to capture the lighting of the outdoor chapel in our photos. The perfect wedding photographer!
Janis was amazing throughout our entire experience. She was so organized, detail-oriented, and quick to respond. All of the photos were beautiful and she took so many great photos of everyone during the ceremony and reception. She was extremely flexible with a less than ideal situation where the church gave us very limited time to take photos inside. We were amazed with how organized she was when it was time to review the photos and she had lots of great options for photo books, prints, framed prints, etc. We would highly recommend Janis to anyone looking for the perfect wedding photographer.

Amazing Photographer
From the beginning Janis was super easy to contact and was very thorough about what she offered and what to expect. Janis helped us immensely and wanted to be as prepared as possible which was very evident when it came to the wedding. We loved her style, approach, and professionalism and we can't wait to see all the amazing photos that were taken soon. I can't say enough about how she just knows her stuff and what works and was able to pose my husband and I so beautifully on our wedding day. We left our session at peace knowing we are going to have some amazing photos that captured the love that we both share, and also some beautiful photos of those we love that attended our wedding and the reception. I can't say enough good things about Ms. Janis. I found her through another app and she was everything we wanted and more. She was quick to respond and answer all my questions. Due to Covid me and my husband had to plan for just us our minister and her. She helped us pick out a beautiful location to hold it and even offered to scout for us. Leading up to the ceremony she was always quick to respond back to me and make the planning as painless as possible. The day of she took stunning pictures and really made the most of spot we choose. When it was time to reveal her work she did not disappoint. She showed up 105 pictures and not only did she put them onto a thumbdrive and help us pick 40 (hard choices) to put into an album for us but she even without hesitation fixed a uniform error for us that was bothering my husband. This is a lady who truly cares about her craft and I would recommend again and again.

First of all, Janis was contracted with very little notice due to our original photographer canceling last minute. Talk about a blessing in disguise! She was more than amazing. She called me shortly after my contracting with Wedding Bug and we talked through some details. She was easily available through text, phone call and email. It was raining the day of our wedding and she was completely cooperative with our requests. My wife and I highly recommend Janis. Janis worked woth me and my husband for our engagement and wedding photos. She really takes the time to make sure every photo is absolutely perfect which is amazing. You can tell she is really passionate about what she does and her photos of us came out perfect! I would recommend working with Janis, she has great ideas and will even make your photo ideas turn out even better than expected.

Janis was an amazing photographer at my wedding! We had three photographers at our wedding (just in case). I am very selective of the photos that I like, and hers only made the cut! Her photos perfectly capture each important moment beautifully, which is a skill that I find difficult to come by. Also, she took photos of the groomsmen, and another photographer took photos of the bridesmaids. Needless to say, I deeply regret not hiring her for longer, because there was such a difference between the two. I wish she was able to take photos of the bridesmaids as well. Also, not only are her photos wonderful, but she absolutely made me feel beautiful when I was stressed from family and the other photographer. Thank you cannot say enough!

Janis was AMAZING! She met with us before hand so we could get to know her and she could get to know us. She was very sensitive and very sincere when I advised her that my mom had recently passed away from Cancer and that the wedding planning was getting stressful. She helped ease that stress by really getting to know my hubby and I by asking us our styles and what we liked. She took time to check in on us and to keep us up to date with what was going on. She went above and beyond to come out to our wedding rehearsal so she could meet our families and wedding party and get a vibe of how we all were and where the best light, areas would be for our pictures. Janis is very very very attentive to detail and also has a great heart! We felt like she was a part of our family when she was there and our families loved her. We would recommend her 100 PERCENT! She is the ONLY one in the Austin/Round Rock area that we would trust with our pictures!!

I would recommend this photographer to everyone she was amazing. Very professional, courteous, and respectful. She did an amazing job taking photos and choreography for each photo.

Janis was amazing! We had a large rowdy group and she managed to corral them all! This was a very rustic venue and she captured the "feel" of our day. She made sure she kept in constant contact with all of us and was at our day in plenty of time to set up, organize and go over what we wanted. She is very professional, and yet very personal-We had over 200 guests, and we wanted to be sure we got pictures of all the family members who traveled here and she got them for us. I had sticker shock at first when choosing a photo service, but now understand the depth of the commitment - we have over 800 pictures to choose from!!!
I will definitely as for Janis to take our future family photos, including baby pictures when the time comes! PERFECT DAY, PERFECT PHOTOGRAPHER!

Overall it was a wonderful experience, we would have liked to see Janis take charge a bit more with the poses. Also, to speak up a little louder, at times it was difficult to hear her.
She was very professional and had a calm demeanor, she listened to what we wanted as a couple and group shots and was pleasant to work with.
