Janay provided excellent service and went above and beyond to ensure that my wedding gown was perfect for my special day. Her friendliness and professionalism were exceptional. If it is originality you are seeking, Janay is your go-to-girl; she took what was a cookie cutter store window display dress, and catered it to my style, adding fun details (think wasabi green tulle underlay) and sparkle galore! I could NOT be more pleased with the end result... I actually teared up when she presented it to me. No only did Janay bring my dress to life, she offered suggestions for photographers and florists. She truly knows all of the tricks of the trade when it comes to weddings, and I will be forever grateful for her expertise and suggestions. She ALSO helped make suggestions as to what jewelry and shoes would be best suited for my dress. Janay is truly above and beyond. She is not only an amazing designer, but a truly caring individual who will do all in her power to make sure your special day is above and beyond even your greatest expectations. Janay, thank you so much. I will forever hold all that you have done for me in planning my big day in my heart.

I'm not the type of gal who wanted a huge wedding dress with millions of layers and fluff. I had a really terrible time dress shopping, as you can imagine, until I met Janay. We originally planned to make a custom design dress, which fit exactly what I was looking for. She did an amazing job listening to what I wanted and creating a sketch of my vision. Then, I found my mothers wedding dress from the 70s with little expectation that anything could be done to make it more modern without ruining it. When I took it to Janay, she listened to my ideas about how we could alter it to make it perfect for my wedding day and had amazing suggestions of how to maintain its integrity through the alteration process. She was completely honest about things that could not be fixed and always had a work-around for something I didn't like. She was diligent in making sure everything about the dress was exactly what I wanted and I can say that she far exceeded my expectations as the dress turned out exactly what I was looking for. She even took some of the left over material that was cut off the sleeves of the dress and made a beautiful hair clip for me to wear in lieu of a veil. It was so very special for my mom and I to share the same dress and Janay absolutely made that happen for us. I got so many compliments at the wedding on the dress and I can never thank Janay enough for making a very special dress a true gift for my wedding day.

I took Janay my mom's handmade wedding dress. She made it in '77, and passed away 10 years ago. You can imagine my hesitation to hand over this priceless dress to someone to alter it for me (although I very much wanted to wear it and have it changed from 1970s mode to modern). Janay was flawless in her approach - she was supportive, understanding, and flexible with me, my concerns, and my fears. She made a beautiful 'new' dress - it was/is a perfect memorial to my mom. I was able to wear her handmade dress, memorialize her, but also able to make it my own. janay is incredible in her talents - not only sewing but in finding the hidden treasure that you are desperately seeking. She is incredible!

Janay created a absolutely beautiful handmade, custom-designed dress, jacket and veil for my 2009 wedding. She really listened to my needs, desires and concerns while she designed my dress. My wedding was in early January and I was having a religious ceremony, so I wanted to be warm and not to bare during the ceremony. I also wanted a strapless dress. Janay, designed an ingenious little jacket that was lovely and did indeed keep me warm. I was married in a completely unique and gorgeous ensemble. I will treasure the memories of my wedding day as long as I live and my dress was a very important aspect of that day. I am still in awe of Janay's incredible creativity and talent.

I originally asked for something for my hair - Janay made something unique and beautiful on my time line. Then she helped me with matching shoe clips... then a wrap that matched my dress. Her innovation and design are fabulous, she worked with my crazy schedule, and I received so many compliments on her designs.
I highly recommend her, even if you're not sure what you want Janay will help hash it out!

Janay was so great to work with! She was very flexible when working with me, I waited just a few months before the wedding to have my dress worked on and she totally stepped up! My dress looked so wonderful when she was done with! I got a ton of compliments on it. People loved what she did. I wanted something that was a little different and she worked with me all the way! I'm recommending her to all my friends that are getting married!
