Jamie was one of the first vendors I chose for my wedding and one of my best choices for sure! She is the nicest person, pays close attention to detail, so on top of everything and overall a pleasure to work with! From the start she was great at answering emails, making sure all our questions were answered, and made us feel comfortable. My husband and I are not the most comfortable around the camera and she made the day so fun for us to get those candid shots! Jamie stayed with us for our entire night and was able to capture guests on the dance floor which we loved! Her photos are stunning! she also brought along a second shooter, Jess, for our day who was just as incredible to work with! Ask about her packages, she also offers video which is done by her husband Brandon who was an amazing addition to our team! Such a nice guy! The whole day was incredible thanks to Jamie! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

10/10!! Jamie's Absolutely AMAZING
Jamie was the absolute BEST! Even when we were first looking for a photographer and starting the wedding planning process, we didn't know if we'd want a first look or not and Jamie walked us through the timeline of both scenarios, which was HUGE for us to get an understanding of the day and it really showed the Jamie knows what she's doing. Jamie was professional, FUN, and so thoughtful through the whole process. The planning meetings Jamie had a wonderful idea to go to another location (which we've never heard of) and the location and pictures were incredible. Jamie made everyone feel super comfortable and blended in with everyone around. Her timeline skills were amazing, including adding in more and more into a family picture. Jamie gave us a sneak peek INSANELY QUICKLY (2 days after the wedding) which was incredibly kind due to knowing a family member's health issue we told her about and Jamie wanted them to see pictures ASAP. Jamie worked non stop and managed to get us pictures in a just a few of weeks, which is so surprising! We cannot say enough about how wonderful Jamie and how beautiful our pictures came out. WE WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND JAMIE FOR YOUR WEDDING!!

A Dream to Work With
Jamie was the photographer for our wedding last month and did an absolutely spectacular job! We just got our final photos back and they came back better than we could have ever imagined. She also gave us back our photos within 2 weeks of the wedding! She was so efficient and calm on our day that it gave us an extra sense of confidence. She also did a great job of being in the background after the formal photos were done, taking amazing pictures throughout the night, while not distracting us or anyone else from the amazing evening that it was! Jamie is simply wonderful!! My husband and I had such an incredible experience with her from our first phone call. Working with Jamie was wonderful! We planned our wedding in two months and Jamie was a huge help with the planning process. She helped schedule the day for us with timing for all pictures we wanted on and off site of our venue. Jamie was quick to respond to our emails and she always answered any questions we had. She was quick at taking pictures but she captured so many awesome shots. No one felt "tired" of taking pictures because she knew the vision and was quick to set up each shot. We received our "sneak peak" one week after our wedding (super quick) and we were able to view them for the first time on our honeymoon. More pictures came about two weeks later (also so quick!). We LOVED her work and the memories she captured on our most special day!

We loved working with Jamie for our wedding photos! Before the wedding, we met multiple times over the phone to go over the schedule of the day, shots we wanted captured, and other details. She was very accommodating when we needed to postpone our wedding. Jamie even suggested a park near the venue where we could do photos of the bridal party and ourselves, which turned out to be beautiful! During the wedding and reception, Jamie was professional & adaptable, worked quickly when needed, and gave us an opportunity to get every shot we wanted. She was integral to the flow of the day and an expert at communicating in an assertive but lighthearted way to keep things on track. It was lovely having her there for every special moment. Fantastic Wedding Photographer!
Jamie was so awesome to work with! Both my husband and I were devastated when we had to postpone our wedding but Jamie was so easy to work with and kept the excitement going, even when we were ready to throw in the towel! She was with us for nearly 12 hours and the photos were everything we've dreamed of! She captured all the getting ready, the traditional church photos, and the chaos of our guests on the dance floor! We had our sneak peak within a week and our final imagines in about three and a half weeks from the wedding! Jamie was our wedding photographer this past June. She was a dream to work with! Prior to the wedding we spoke several times on the phone, and she helped set our schedule for the wedding day. We were so impressed with her on our wedding day- she seemed to be everywhere all night taking photos! Best Wedding Photographer!
When selecting a wedding photographer, we were first drawn to Jaime because of her beautiful and high-quality photographs on her website and Instagram. However, after speaking with her, we found out we were getting much more than just great photographs! From our first meeting with her, Jaime's enthusiasm was apparent and she took a genuine interest in making sure we would have great memories captured. She was professional, organized, and very thorough taking the time to make a list with us of all the specific pictures we wanted to capture. When the day came, she shot all the moments we talked about and then some. She also worked well with our videographer who she just met for the first time that day. The second shooter she brought, Brendan, was just as terrific as Jaime. He was also enthusiastic, professional, and great as his job. Jamie is absolutely wonderful! From our first phone call, my husband and I knew she was who we wanted to capture our special day. She was so informative, personable, and easy to talk to. She made us feel well taken care of and confident that everything would turn out great. Jamie makes everyone feel at ease behind the camera and has you smiling and laughing the whole time. Our families and bridal party said that Jamie made them feel so comfortable and like models while taking pictures! I cannot recommend Jamie enough for your wedding photographer! First- she was so available and helpful during the wedding planning process (I was planning from out of state, moved states, and started a new job). Second- she has a variety of package options for all different budgets and coverage. Lastly- she is an absolutely AMAZING photographer. She really does tell a story through her photos and captured our day so perfectly. She also got so many shots of our guests having a great time. We shared the link with everyone and they just raved and raved about how beautiful they came out! Simply the Best!
Jamie was an absolute pleasure to work with; her photography style put me at ease for the entire day of my wedding, and her professionalism and attention to detail were exceptional. I told Jamie that I would be having alpacas at my wedding and that it was very important to me to highlight those moments with them. She made time for a full photo shoot with them and it was a complete blast! They are my favorite photos from the day. I could tell how much Jamie enjoys what she does; she was having as much fun as we were, and her pictures show that she puts her heart into her work. All of her photos came out better than I ever could have imagined. When my husband and I looked at them for the first time, we laughed, we cried, and we relived our wedding from start to finish. Amazing and Easy-Going Wedding Photos
Jamie did an incredible job photographing our wedding! She was upbeat and easy going from our first phone call. She was happy to meet with us to walk through our venue and brainstorm ideas for photos. We were able to talk through all the details of the day ahead of time so that everything ran smoothly day of and we literally didn't have to worry about anything. Jamie captured all the little details of our day and the pictures came out amazingly! She did a great job of blending into the background while still getting incredible shots, and the pictures really capture all the emotions of the day beautifully. Jamie's laughter was infectious and kept everyone in good spirits while we shot outside in the windy fall cold, and when we fell behind schedule she was able to get us back on time. We would absolutely recommend Jamie!!

The best photos we could have asked for!
Jamie shot our engagement shoot and our wedding and every picture is amazing! She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera which helped to get such great shots. Perfect pictures for a lifetime of memories
Jamie is an amazing photographer, and was so fun to work with! My husband and I got married this past October, and we started talking to Jamie about a year prior. From the beginning, she made sure she got to know us personally, and asked us all the right questions to make sure she knew exactly what we wanted, and didn’t want, in our wedding photos. We are big fans of candid photos, and Jamie absolutely nailed it! She captured every single moment – from first look, to groomsmen messing around on the beach, to a packed dance floor – the pictures are just perfect. A major bonus - we got our pictures SUPER fast.

From my first phone conversation with Jamie, I knew she was the right photographer from us. Her energy, her ability to listen, her honesty, and her artistic viewpoint all were incredibly refreshing. Jamie is masterful with light, composition and her camera. She has a knack for helping two very awkward people relax in front of the camera and take great pictures. She knows how to capture real and emotional moments. They may not be "Instagram perfect" but they are exactly how you want to remember your day because they are that authentic. My husband and I had Jamie for our April wedding at the Mansion at Mountain Lakes. From my first phone conversation with Jamie I knew she was exactly what we were looking for! She was overflowing with ideas not only for the perfect photos, but with ideas to help the day flow smoothly. Both her and our second shooter were professional and faded into the background, we forgot they were even there! We received our pictures so quickly just over a month after our wedding. Amazing photographer!
When it comes to weddings the best advice I have ever been given is book the best photographer you can find. When we started looking around for our photographer for our wedding, we came across Jamie Bodo on the internet and loved her work and we knew Jamie was the best in her field. It was obvious from our first meeting that Jamie knew exactly the type of photos we wanted. We wanted the pictures to reflect our love for each other while encapsulating the Jersey Shore which is our home. We completely trusted Jamie with this important day and we were not disappointed. The photos are spectacular. I am thrilled to have these beautiful photos and I cannot recommend Jamie highly enough. Her patience and understanding made our day less stressful and I could sit back and relax knowing that she was constantly capturing special moments.

I couldn't be happier with our decision to work with Jamie for our November 2017 wedding at The Palace. Jamie was familiar with our venue already, so she knew the best spots for taking photos and helped guide us on planning the day-of timeline based on the kinds of photos we wanted. I had told Jamie ahead of time that we wanted "getting ready"/details and family photos before our ceremony, but that we wanted to be able to enjoy the reception without pausing for pictures too frequently. I really needed a photographer who I could trust to understand the kind of photographs we wanted so I wouldn't need to worry about whether or not we got all the shots we were hoping for and I definitely found that with Jamie. Even after a single phone conversation I knew that she completely understood what we were going for. Jamie respected the wedding experience we wanted, and was able to capture so many AMAZING candid shots (without us even knowing she was there!) that she really captured the energy of the wedding and caught all the special moments that you really want to look back on after your big day. Jamie's expertise really showed when she was able to capture bridal/groom party & family pictures before our ceremony without over-directing us or taking up too much time. She worked quickly without sacrificing any of the quality and we could not be happier with the images she captured! I am beyond happy to recommend Jamie as a wedding photographer-especially for those who want to enjoy their wedding to the fullest! My husband and I were lucky enough to have Jamie photograph our wedding on October 14th! Jamie is absolutely incredible at everything. She spent lots of time with my on the phone, prior to our big day, laying out our schedule and plan. I had no worries in the world leading up to our wedding because she made it so much less stressful. The day of, she captured every moment from beginning to end - me and my bridesmaids getting ready, my husband and his groomsmen having a relaxing time enjoying some drinks before, our ceremony and reception. Jamie did a great job of understanding the style of pictures that we were looking for and delivered above and beyond what we were expecting. Our ceremony was outside in the middle of the day and the pictures from the ceremony were beautiful beyond belief. Jamie is incredible at what she does and her passion for catching true emotion really shows. Right from the first time we spoke I knew Jamie was going to be a perfect fit for our wedding photos! She pays attention to little details which was extremely important to me. Jamie made everyone feel extremely comfortable, like a friend taking our photos, which helped capture the genuine emotions throughout the day. Pictures are a huge part of the wedding day and Jamie made the process extremely painless; for the men of course who don’t love taking photos for long periods of time. I also received my photos back in an extremely timely manner during busy wedding season which is so wonderful for a bride because seeing those photos and reliving those moments so soon after the day is an incredible feeling. Jamie photographed our May 6th wedding in Cape May. We had such a great experience with Jamie, and absolutely love our photos! My husband and I are not big on having our pictures taken, and we were nervous about having a camera in our face all day. However Jamie put us at ease during our first look, and we didn't even notice her during our ceremony and reception- a sign of a great photographer!

AMAZING! Jamie was our wedding photographer in September 2016. She was able to capture all of the special moments at our wedding. All of our pictures are beautiful. She was especialy attentive to our needs and was able to balance pictures of my husband and I as well as several difficult (and spur of the moment) group shots. She and her colleague managed to capture everything from getting ready (both at my hotel and my husband's family house) through the very end of the reception, which included multiple shooting locations and a full church service. We had a morning wedding, so Jamie was very accomodative at arriving early to get set up. Throughout the day, Jamie was both professional and friendly, and was very easy to work with. She reccomended great locations for pictures and didn't miss a single key moment of the day. After the wedding, we received a link to our digital album online very quickly, and from there we were able to download every picture, as well as make choices for our printed album, which were completed quickly and represented the quality of work Jamie always delivered. Jamie was very helpful throughout the process, responding quickly to our questions and provding guidance when we asked for it. We are pleased to reccomend her for your special day!

We got married on 3/31/2017 in Spring Lake and I can’t say enough great things about Jamie! We knew she was awesome after our engagement shoot, when we brought our crazy dachshund with us for the photos and she handling it beautifully (even though our dog was acting like a lunatic). She got so many great shots that I knew we made the right decision for our wedding photographer. She was definitely one of the easiest vendors I dealt with through out the process since she is super responsive to her emails. The day of our wedding we had 45 mph winds and pouring rain so naturally I was a little concerned how the outdoor photos I wanted would go. Even though the weather was horrible we managed to get some great shots outside before we moved to a different location for the rest of the photos. Throughout the whole day she was flexible with the weather and everything was perfect. She does great work and I highly recommend her! You will not be disappointed!

Jamie is truly the best photographer you'll come across. She's flexible to your needs/wants of any ideas you may have and will also create them even better than you had imagined. Her easy-going personality puts any one at ease. My husband hates having his picture taken, but Jamie knew what to say to make him laugh. Jamie had done our engagement photos back in Oct '16. She was willing to climb rocky mountains to insure that we got the photo that I was hoping for. Being a photographer myself (I am intermediate, while she is an absolute pro!) I can not see what she sees while being on the other end of the camera lens. We had felt bad for making her climb all those mountains, but she was totally up for it! We had also left one location to go to another location (miles apart!) in the same day for even more engagement photos. My engagement photos were done within two-three weeks.
Fast forward to our wedding day in Jan '17, she arrived early and had taken every group shots and single poses, as well as our First Look before the ceremony! It was cold that day, but she was up for going outside to take a few photos. Jamie is very accommodating, just ask her and she’ll see what she can do for you. Before our wedding, the three of us had discussed, and then had arranged to take photos with my husbands' ill grandfather to put into our wedding album: he was unable to make it to our wedding day, but glad that Jamie was available and willing to take on our request. Jamie is worth every penny! It’s been 16 days since my wedding and already I had a sneak peak as well as more of a preview of my wedding photos. Book with Jamie, and you will not be disappointed!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Jamie. She worked with us for our wedding as well as an engagement session. She was very professional and patient answering all of my questions beforehand (and I had a lot!). Her easy going attitude helped ease the stress of taking photos on the day of the wedding. She even scouted out locations near our venue before the big day so that we had the perfect place for pictures! After the wedding, she provided a preview of our photos. By the time we returned from our honeymoon, she sent us our completed pictures – well ahead of schedule. The photos were amazing! There was a great mix of posed pictures and candid shots. In addition, Jamie photographed all of the little details that meant so much to us. During the reception Jamie blended in with the guests so that we barely knew she was there. If only there was the option to rate 100 stars! Words cannot express how happy we were with Jamie as our wedding photographer! She is a true artist and absolutely fantastic at her job. I booked Jamie only 3 months out from our wedding, and even though we did not meet until my wedding day (my fault, not hers!), it felt like we knew her our whole life. She is so prepared with all the pre-planning and timelines for the day, things you don't even think of until she brings it up a few weeks prior to the wedding. I sent her some pictures on pintrest a few days before the wedding and she was able to re-enact them all to look exactly the way I wanted. Everything ran so smoothly and it was all because of her preparedness. She is a true asset to the industry and anyone would be lucky to have her help in your special day.
Just when I thought it couldn't get better, 2 DAYS after the wedding, she put together the most adorable, sneak peek video with at least 150 shots from the wedding with the most amazing background music. 2 days after!!!! My husband and I must have watched it 150 times on our honey moon. This video was almost 4 minutes long and it made me not regret not getting a videographer, as this video captured all the most important parts of the wedding.
But then, it got better!! 3 weeks after the wedding, Jamie had all the digital photos done and posted for me to download. I expected the photos to be ready with 45-60 days, never did I expect 3 weeks. And the photos were more than I ever could have hoped for, she managed to capture all the little details that I spent months working on, as well as facial expressions and candid moments. My husband and I are not "center of attention people" and Jamie made sure to not have it awkward for us, she took a lot of candid photos to capture the day for us.
Jamie truly is an award winning photographer and I will be sure to recommend her to anyone. I really could not ask for any better quality or service.

Jamie is amazing!! Before my wedding this June, I saw her work for my best friend's wedding two summers ago. I just LOVED her photos and the way she worked! Her outdoor wedding shots were my particular favorites and I knew she'd be able to capture some great photos at my scenic venue. She definitely delivered for us! We loved our bridal party photos on the lakeside (Jamie had some fun ideas that really came out great), our one on one photos on the dock and lakeside, the candid shots of the guests and us dancing, the food photos, and all of the shots of our details that we worked so hard on. Jamie was very responsive throughout the planning process, answering all of our questions and meeting with us to review all the details. She was very friendly and energetic, which was important to us given that we would be spending so much time with her the day of the wedding! She made sure we got all the shots we wanted and thought of some shots that I would have otherwise forgotten. I found Jamie using The Knot phone app. We were planning a wedding out of state, and I was overwhelmed with all the decision making! We were behind the ball on booking vendors, panicking, without a clue when it came to photography. Well here comes Jamie to the rescue! Jamie was so sweet, friendly and helpful! She guided us through the process with all the right questions! Any questions we did have she answered quickly, which I found hard to find from others. Most of our communication had to be via email due to my work schedule so quick, clear communication that way was important to me. But we did chat on the phone a few times, as well as meet face to face before final booking. Being out of state she made everything so easy for us! The day of the wedding she was professional, on time, fun, and took AWESOME pictures. She even met my now husband at a nearby hotel before meeting up with the rest of as at the venue to capture getting ready photos. We were lucky with weather, but some of the pictures are so perfect, you would think we were standing in front of a backdrop! I highly recommend Jamie. And, if I ever need photos taken again, I would gladly make the trip and book her again!

I recently worked with Jamie for our wedding on 11.14.15 & ALREADY (yes, already) have my photos, less than 2 weeks later and OH MY GAH - THEY ARE AMAZING! I have to say I was a little worried, not because of Jamie AT ALL but because I knew my day was a little chaotic - we had a bridal party of 18, 11 small kids, two REALLY big families, and a MILLION little details and I wanted all of that captured with a journalist approach so I knew it was a tall order and Jamie delivered flawlessly. Jamie captured so many moments I honestly didn't even know happened on our wedding day and moments I didn't even know she was there for, which is just amazing. She knew when to blend in perfectly and when to step up and take charge of our big group to rally them together to get things accomplished quickly and efficiently (which was invaluable for someone like me!). She was flexible (in terms of pricing, packages, hours, etc) in a way that we found NO other photographer was and was a great mix of the type of posed + journalist/artistic photos we wanted. I enjoyed working with Jamie very much and felt she was a great blend of professional and personal for our wedding day & will forever cherish our absolutely beautiful photos that captured our wedding day in a way I never thought possible. The first time to discuss package options, then to sign our contract, and then make the timeline for the wedding. Each time was like meeting a friend for coffee. We used Jamie as our photographer for our wedding that took place on May 25, 2014. Needless to say, choosing Jamie was the right decision. We are beyond pleased with our photos. Jamie took the time to organize and plan all the shots that were important to us and made sure to incorporate what we wanted. With the wedding day flying by so quickly I honestly didn’t remember everything so clearly. When seeing the sneak peak video for the first time I was brought to tears by the way she organized the events of the wedding from start to finish. Jamie stayed behind the scenes and I barely remember seeing her throughout the night. She managed to capture every moment.
Getting everyone to cooperate was not easy, as Jamie anticipated. She worked with us to get everyone together and tried to help to the best of her ability. During the photos she was very open to our ideas and knew how to arrange everyone to ensure they were taking the best photo possible. Side note, this was NOT an easy task with our group since they dislike photos.
Jamie is so talented and creative with an artistic eye and attention to detail. She is professional, prompt, and had everything edited and sent to us in a very timely manner. She is responsive and quick with communication. In the end, we have nothing but positive things to say about our overall experience. What can I say about Jamie? Professional, timely, a true pro. She made sure to arrive early, helped us with our hectic schedule, even shuffled guests where they needed to go during the day. Even with crummy weather, Jamie made sure to ask us if there were any different shots that we wanted to get throughout the day, since we had to deviate from outside shots we originally planned. Her assistant that day was just as nice! Under time pressure, pushy family and a hectic bride, Jamie held her own and made sure to get every shot she needed on our special day. We'd hire her again in a second! We'll be recommending her to friends and family for the future!

If you are looking at this review- STOP READING AND CALL JAMIE AND BOOK HER, NOW! She is absolutely incredible- her pictures of my wedding are so supremely gorgeous and she doesn't miss a moment! I have beautiful pictures of everything- from the start of our day getting our hair and makeup done to the very last dance- and then some! Its just 2 weeks after my wedding and i already have my beautiful photos to cherish and show friends and family. All around- she is a fantastic person and the best photographer in New Jersey- and believe me- I looked at every single one! THANK YOU JAMIE!!!

Couldn’t be happier! Jamie is a wonderful photographer and person. We felt comfortable with her every step of the way. Her attention to detail was amazing. Jamie was honest and gave us plenty of suggestions. No request was too big or small. Our engagement photos were unbelievable and we knew that our wedding photos would be just as good. Jamie went above and beyond on our wedding day. She did her research and even visited our venue ahead of time to plan our pre-reception photos. She even found a gorgeous park nearby. We loved her recommendations for locale and posing. We chose not to hire a videographer because of our budget and my husband’s indifference towards them. Close to the wedding I was second guessing that decision however; Jamie compiled our photos into a DVD slideshow with music in the background. It was like having our own movie but better. Every detail from the food and décor, to every smile and tear was captured. It is hard to believe that just one person was able to be in so many places at once. We would recommend Jamie to anyone looking for someone who is attentive, reliable, and looking to capture those special moments. Looking forward to using her in the future.

We love Jamie!! She captured our wedding day absolutely perfectly. Her pictures are the perfect mix of artistry and photojournalism. She captures the details in a way that makes everyone “ohhh” and “ahhh” when they look through our wedding album. Most importantly, Jamie really listened to us. When we told her that we just wanted to capture the fun moments of our wedding and not worry about too much “posing,” that is exactly what she did. In addition, Jamie is wonderful about returning emails and calls quickly. She is a pleasure to work with and extraordinarily talented – we could not be happier with both our engagement and our wedding pictures!

Jamie is wonderful! We booked her about a year before our date and corresponded via emails until the wedding arrived. Traveling a distance to reach our venue, she arrived several hours before I made it down the aisle and took lots of candid pictures of everyone getting ready for the main event. Our sneak peak pictures that she has shared with us so far are amazing!!

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! Jamie was great every step of the way. From planning right up to the day of. She fit right in with us and it was more than a pleasure to work with her. We cannot wait to see our photos! I would recommend her to anyone and we cannot wait to start a family so that we can work with her again for maternity photos etc. We are receiving compliments already about how great she was from our family and friends.
