Amazing service and gorgeous products!
We used James Cress for our 10/01 wedding and going with them was such a great choice! Our bouquets, boutonnières, corsage, and garland centerpieces were stunning! Many of our guests wanted to know which florist we used because they loved the flowers! I planned my wedding out of state and Barbara , in the events department, and Brandon, the head florist, were so helpful and accommodating. I sent them photos of what I liked and they delivered beautiful pieces that went above and beyond what I could dream up. Anyone looking for a florist for a wedding (or any event) should definitely go with James Cress!

The center pieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, and other decor were all beautiful! We were extremely happy with the service and product. Samantha and Barbara communicated with us constantly to ensure we were satisfied. Samantha called to make sure I was happy with my bridal bouquet and also to create an additional three centerpieces on the day of our wedding because I miscounted the number of centerpieces required!! Their talent and dedication to making our event beautiful is unmatched. We are so grateful!

My wedding was December 14th 2019 and James crest was the florist I used for my bouquets, corsages and flower arrangements for the church. (I made my own centerpieces) I was so happy with how everything looked. I had met with Brandon to talk about what colors I liked but other than that I knew nothing . I had no idea what it would all look like. But Brandon did a beautiful job putting everything together for me and really made the experience so fun! Barbra who I spoke to on the phone multiple time was always kind and very helpful with any questions and concerns I had. Can’t say thank enough good things !

Our flowers were the most outstanding part of our wedding!
James Cress blew me away with their amazing service, beautiful arrangements and vibrant, fresh flowers. Brandon is brilliant and any bride would be lucky to work with him. I had a VERY specific vision of what I wanted for my wedding, but also a tight budget. Brandon worked with me on every gritty detail, understanding my vision while being creative in how to sub specific flowers and numbers of items to stay within budget. I spent hours going back and forth with Brandon and he was patient and professional through it all. He literally turned the solarium room in our venue into a greenhouse with flowers and lanterns adorning the ceilings and walls. The venue was so blown away by his elaborate work that they requested that our pictures be used to show off the possibility of the ceremony room for future weddings and asked us to get them a card for James Cress so that they can work more officially with them in the future. James Cress is the best florist to work with on Long Island and I would recommend them 100%.

I cannot say enough nice things about James Cress Florist! From my first meeting with Barbara and Brandon I knew they were the florist I would work with for my wedding. They were able to work with my budget and give me exactly what I wanted in the most stunning bouquets and centerpieces. I got married on August 31st and needed to add an extra bouquet and centerpiece on August 26th and they were able to work with me up until the last minute to ensure everything was done! All of my flowers delivered the morning of my wedding stayed beautiful for the entire day, and guests who took home the centerpieces said they enjoyed them for over 2 weeks after! Barbara and Brandon are truly a pleasure to work with and made the planning process fun and easy! Not only are they professionals, but they are some of the most kind people I have met in the wedding field. They are truly a dynamic duo and they 100% are the best in the business. I would recommend to anyone!!

Their professionalism and attention to detail is unparalleled. Working with Barbara and Brandon was amazing and fun! Brandon took our vision and made it a reality; our flowers came out better than we could have ever imagined! Whoever said 'no one ever remembers the flowers at a wedding' didn't use James Cress! Our guests were blown away by the centerpieces and the bridal bouquets were gorgeous! I can't praise this team enough. They really hit it out of the park! Going with them for the most important day was a no brainer. 11/10 stars!

Brandon and the team at James Cress Florist was incredible, extremely accommodating, and hilarious to work with! We actually had a better wedding planning experience with them vs. our venue and vendor! As soon as I walked into the facility, I got this sense of confidence that everything would go as I wanted and it did!
I had a vision of how I wanted my bouquet to look and they were able to execute it and make it even better than what I envisioned! I also had asked to have my grandfathers picture on the bouquet and they were able to make it so subtle but it brought me to tears to see that that incorporated it.
Everything was put together so beautifully - from the all the bouquets and buttoners, to the arch where we got married. Overall, me and my husband had a great experience with this florist and we highly recommend them.

The people at James Cress Florist were wonderful to work with from my first call with them to the final flowers they delivered on our wedding day. Brandon and Barbara are incredible, thoughtful, and helpful people. They were above our price range, but they were absolutely worth it. They took our ideas and turned them into beautiful, cost-effective pieces for our ceremony, bridal party, and reception. They gave us a trial centerpiece to make sure I loved what they were doing. When I gave the wrong bridal party members the wrong flowers and thought we were missing some, James Cress Florist calmly went through our list and helped us figure out who should have what flowers. What a relief! We never discussed the ceremony flowers or the cake flowers, but both were stunning. Everyone there knows what they're doing, they're flexible, inventive, experts in what they do, and they're so kind. They put a beautiful final touch on our wedding day. Thank you!

I had to take the time to leave a review for the florist that I used for my wedding. The bouquets and centerpieces were GORGEOUS! Our venue had a package that utilized James Cress services, and I am so happy that we chose to go with it. We met with Brandon and he was super helpful and knowledgable. After sitting with him for about 15 minutes, he knew exactly what I wanted and helped me select the proper flowers. Not only did we get our bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres through them... but when we decided that putting together our own centerpieces would be too much (three weeks before the wedding!) we called up James Cress, and I spoke with Brandon and we decided to go ahead and have them do our centerpieces as well. I was nervous this would not be possible with such short notice, however they were extremely accommodating and put together beautiful centerpieces for us. After dealing with 3 other florists and only being frustrated and disssapoInted, I made an appt at James Cress. I had all but given up on anyone being able capture the look I was going for as other samples I saw weren’t close to what my vision was.
After Tom and I sat with Brandon for about 5 mins, we knew we wanted to work with him. Our meeting just flowed.. and I knew he would be able to give us exactly what we wanted.
Brandon and I met a few times as I made changes to the centerpieces .. in the end, he designed beautiful white arrangements with gold accents and spray painted candelabras and votives in matching gold.
I added some bouquets and corsages and made other changes throughout the process and Barbara redid my contracts several times without problem. Barbara is fast, organized and always provided excellent customer service. She answers emails and phone calls right away and makes sure everything is going according to plan. At the last minute she even put one of the centerpieces into a vase and had it delivered to my house because we had some
people cancel and didn’t need the extra flowers for a table.
The day of the wedding, (4/7/18) the flowers showed up right on time.. the girls’ bouquets were perfect and my guests all took centerpieces home.
My flowers were fabulous .. Brandon wrapped mine in gold bling to stand out from the others.
I can’t say enough about Brandon and Barbara, their personalities, work ethic and ability to deliver beautiful wedding pieces are like no other.
They are a winning team and you will be lucky to have them involved in your wedding.

We were married on 3/3/18. We met with Brandon (floral designer) December of 2017. He was extremely accommodating, friendly, and professional all at once. At our first meeting we showed him pictures of what we wanted for our center pieces and bouquets, He quickly put together some samples that were stunning! We left there convinced that James Cress would be our florist for the big day! Barbara who was the sales person we dealt with was extremely responsive to e-mails and accommodating to all of our requests. We met with Brandon a total of 3 times to go over details. At the last meeting, I almost cried when I saw the sample of our center pieces. It was incredible! When I walked into our reception hall the night of our wedding I was in awe. Our center pieces were amazing and we received so many compliments on them. Our guests even told us they were "something out of a fairy tale" and that they "have Never seen any center pieces" like ours. Not to mention my husband and I mis counted our tables for the night of the wedding, and so we were one center piece short!!! Our maitre'd quickly contacted James Cress the night of the wedding and James Cress had an additional center piece to us before any of our guests could even notice something was missing!!!! Our bouquets were everything we wanted, our bridesmaid absolutely loved them!! James Cress is an amazing floral company and every bride should at least meet with them when searching for a florist for their wedding!! Thank you James Cress (Barbara & Brandon) for everything!!!

Words cannot express how happy I am with the service I received from James Cress florist for my wedding on Oct 7th 2016. Cezar and his whole team were incredible! I had a very detailed vision of what I wanted my wedding to look like and they far exceeded my expectations! I met with Cezar several times to review various details for the wedding reception, ceremony and bouquets. Cezar and his assistant sat down with me and took time to make sure I felt very comfortable and secure with all the floral pieces that were created. What impressed me the most was the amazingly gorgeous floral wall that was specially built for me and my wedding. Seriously!!!! Who does builds a floral wall from scratch? James Cress! Cezar created a design that was so beautiful and so life like I actually asked him to create a smaller version for my new home. Also, my husband and guests actually thought the flowers were real! All the centerpieces and the decor on my deis table, cake table and gift table were extraordinary! They did not skimp on anything. Every piece was quality and better and more beautiful than the next! They even used various sizes in votives and candles which I never expected that added a special touch. I remember walking into my reception room and being absolutely blown away with the decor. I couldn't believe that was my wedding, I felt like a celebrity. Thank you so much to Cezar and James Cress for your dedication and extraordinary service. You are one of a kind! We are so pleased with our flowers. Everything was so beautiful. Gary was extremely helpful. Every call I made and email I sent I was responded to promptly. All questions were answered. They worked with the ideas that we had. I am horrible with flowers and colors and they gave me all the right directions and ideas. I greatly appreciate all the help we received. A month before my wedding, my original florist backed out of my wedding unprofessionally and I was left in tears trying to figure out how to pick up the pieces and pull this off in less than 4 weeks to go till the big day. Here's the kicker, that florist was a house vendor which is truly disappointing. I ended up going with Giorgio's other recommended florist, which was James Cress and all I can say is I should've went with them from the very beginning. Gary was amazing to work with. He was such a sweetheart, picking up this project so last minute and making sure everything was done exactly the way I imagined it. He emailed back right away every time (the other vendor was only prompt in responding to emails BEFORE contracts were signed and a ghost full of excuses thereafter with emails and phone calls) and answered all my questions and was always very reassuring me that everything would be okay. And at every appointment, he was such a sweetheart always sending me home with beautiful roses to help brighten my day.
And on the day of the wedding, Gary was nothing short of an angel. He set up my ceremony space in the most beautiful lights and rose petals. It all looked so magical, all my guests complimented how much of a fairytale it looked. My centerpieces were beautiful and romantic and all the bridal flowers looked amazing against the bridesmaids dresses. I don't know what else to say other than that Gary was wonderful in everything he did. I would recommend him wholeheartedly to everyone.

My wedding was on September 28th 2014 and James Cress did our flowers.. and all I can say they are absolutely the best florist out there . planning a wedding is stressful as it is and Gary and Andrea had made the whole experience an absolute pleasure and they had gone beyond to make sure all our our wishes and dreams some true. They had worked with me and my husband thru the entire process to ensure all the flowers are not only beautiful but also match our decor and wedding venues. All of our guests complimented all the centerpieces and table decor, which consisted of tall red flowers centerpieces sitting on top of glass cylinders filled with red flowers and glass cylinders with floating candles.. Gary and his team managed to make my dream of a room filled with glittering candles surrounded by red flowers on a black and silver black background come true.. it was truly magical.. I could write a 100 reviews to explain the amount of detail and hard work that they put into our wedding and spend days trying to thank them.. they really are true professionals and I would recommend them to anyone who wants a florist and event decorator who is not only professional but also creative.

James Cress provided me with the most beautiful bouquets, centerpieces, and various arrangements and add-ons. I consulted with Gary and from the moment me and my fiance met him, we felt so comfortable. He is such a straight-up guy. He tells you from the beginning what you will get and how much it will cost and sticks to that price pretty well. Everyone raved about the flowers and the arrangements at the wedding because they were absolutely breath-taking. I told Gary what I had in mind for flowers and showed him a couple of pictures from Pinterest that I liked and he came out with an arrangement of flowers that looked EXACTLY like the picture i had envisioned in my head. It was like he read my mind. He was so sweet and so professional. I felt so comfortable with him and am so amazed at the work him and his staff did to make these flowers as stunning as they were. Gary did a spectacular job for my daughter's Sweet 16! The Sweet 16 was April 17th at Flowerfield. I first met with Gary a year before my daughter's Sweet 16, and we came up with a diamond theme. I booked James Cress Florist for my wedding day after hearing two good reviews from coworkers of mine. I scheduled a consultation with Gary, and was very pleased with that first meeting. My husband and I loved his professionalism and felt at ease working with him. I had one idea in mind for the centerpieces but then wound up going back about two-three times because I kept changing my mind! Thankfully Gary was so nice and understanding, that he worked with me until I was happy with the final draft. Most vendors would probably quit at that point, but Gary was such a sweetheart and continued to work with me. On the day of my wedding, I was blown away with how beautiful everything came out! I knew they would look amazing, but I didn't expect everything to look THAT good. My bridesmaids bouquets were hot pink roses and mini hot pink spray roses, while mine was white roses with mini pale pink spray roses. My centerpieces were two square vases with hot pink roses. We had the ceremony area decorated all in pink flowers and white material draping everywhere. Needless to say that I LOVED how everything came out. I would definitely work with Gary and the staff of James Cress, and I will recommend them to everyone. Thank you to every at James Cress for making my wedding day so wonderful with such beautiful flowers!!!!

Good morning,
We just wanted to thank you so much for the beautiful flowers, everything looked terrific. We felt that the flowers created such a beautiful atmosphere at the watermill as well as the church. All the people we spoke with leading up to the day were terrific, kind, thoughtful and thorough. The 2 men that I met who made deliveries at the Watermill and the Sheraton were also terrific and kind and patient to be sure we were happy!
We almost forgot to mention how great Gary was the first day when we came with our photos for ideas and how he was able to understand our vision and bring out a sample bouquet and have it be on point.
Thank you so much for everything, I know you do this every day, but for us this is a once in a lifetime moment and you helped to make it so beautiful and we are grateful!

The florist was great from beginning to end. The customer service when you first walk in is great. The whole staff are very warm and welcoming. The florist is very responsive and easily works around your schedule and works with you to make sure you are happy with the flowers you have in mind. They provide you with samples and suggestions. I didn't think flowers would be the exciting part of the wedding planning but the vibes from this florist actually made me feel excited for it!
The only thing I personal was disappointed with was that my bouquet didn't stand out from bridesmaids' so we didn't know which one was mine!

From the begining, we were very hesitant to spend a lot of money on the flowers for our wedding. Flowers are so beautiful, it just kills us to have to spend so much and then discard of them. But what wedding would be complete without them? We chose a more uncommon variety of flowers and Gary at James Cress did everything he could to make sure we received exactly what we were in search of. We ran into a few snags along the way with my other vendors and they were wonderful enough to help me solve some of those other issues (which they did not have to do). My flowers drew much attention at my venue and people from other parties were coming to take pictures of them. I am quite happy to say that even though I was quite hesitant to purchase flowers...they were more than worth it!!! Thank you to Gary and James Cress for adding such a special touch to our wedding!!!

My daughters's Sweet Sixteen theme was the roaring 20's. Gary Cress designed and implemented table decor that set the theme atmosphere perfectly. The room looked spectacular! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! He and his staff were great to work with and did a wonderful job! I would absolutely use them again and reccomend them to anyone who is having an event.

Gary Cress and his staff did an incredible job with the floral arrangements and centerpieces for Josh's Bar Mitzvah! The color combination of the flowers really popped and was perfect for our gaming theme. The centerpieces were just perfect with the names of the video games mounted on foam board. Gary was very responsive to our emails while planning this event and was a pleasure to work with.

I had the best experience with James Crest. Gary sat with me and my fiancé at the time from the first day and walked us through the whole process. I have never been into decorating and hardly knew about flowers. He made sure he asked all the questions found out more about us and put together nothing but the most beautiful flowers arrangements. I felt it encompassed us and our taste in these arrangements.
On the day of the wedding they were all on time to my house with the bouquets, then delivered the necessary arrangements and boutonnieres to the groom’s house and finally the church. Everything was perfect, looked absolutely gorgeous. I knew I had made the right decision!
Gary I will continue to recommend you guys to anyone I come across because I think every bride deserves the experience I had with you and your team.

Gary Cress was very easy to work with and was able to design table arrangements EXACTLY to the way I had envisioned.

Gary at James Cress in Smithtown was absolutely amazing! The entire staff was extremely helpful throughout the entire wedding process. The prices were very fair and they can truly work with any budget. As I sit here writing this review, I can say that my bouquet is still alive and beautiful just like it was the day of my wedding! I had calla lillies and vendella roses and I am amazed at how beautiful they still are! I would highly recommend Gary and James Cress to be your vendor for flowers!

My daughter's Bat Mitzvah was March 23rd, at the Hamlet at Willow Creek, in Mt. Sinia. I worked with Gary Cress. He helped me to create the environment that I wanted for her party.Her theme was "Broadway". He worked with me in a flexible manner. He was able to provide names for a linens person and a name board person, who were also easy to work with. His team was creative. He was timely. He listened to my daughter and was able to portray her "likes" and not her "dislikes". I hope at some point I can work with him again!

This was am AMAZING experience from start to finish. James cress goes above and beyond from the day you step foot in the store. The quality of their work definately stands out from the rest and the uniqueness is stunning. My flowers for my wedding were spectacular. In fact I've never seen anything like it. And Gary cress and his staff is so warm and so wonderful to work with. The personal attention that they give you sets them apart from other florists. All of the staff were friendly, professional, and prompt to respond. The flowers were beautiful and held up all day. They still look great a week later. The floral decorations on the cake were breath taking! It was all perfect!

Gary and Cress Florist provided the most amazing flowers. They truly made my wedding reception beyond beautiful and were the focal point of the room. My local reception was held in a tent and the flowers they provided changed the entire ambiance into a fairytale. My guests were coming to me all night asking if they could take them home.
I can not thank them enough for the stunning arrangements, professionalism and quality they provided. I will be using them for every event I hold in the future along with all the special occasions that come throughout the year.

Garry helped coordinate the flowers for our recent wedding at the Pridwin on Shelter Island. Garry really went above and beyond! Our ceremony was beautiful, people are still talking about our centerpieces and even the small details that were given to the cocktail hour were fantastic. Gary created centerpieces, lighting and decor that fit exactly with what my sister envisioned for her wedding. The flowers were incredible and really brought the whole "vintage" feeling together. It was elegant and whimsical and spectacular. The lighting was perfect. It set a relaxing and gorgeous setting for the dining area and created the exact ambiance that we wanted. The twinkling lights/fabric he placed on the dance floor added just the right touch.
I would recommend James Cress to all my friends. They worked with our budget and gave my sister exactly what she wanted and helped make her wedding truly unforgettable.
