So happy we used the Island Boys as a steel drummer for our cocktail hour! It was the perfect background music while everyone was drinking and chatting. Jesse was our drummer and he did awesome! We used their sound system for the ceremony as well and it was great quality. It was a windy day on the beach and hearing the music and ceremony speeches were no problem. He was able to play tracks for our aisle and exit songs which was awesome because I had certain songs in mind. Winston was great to talk to, helpful and super kind. Thank you so much! Winston was awesome! He accommodated all of our needs and he was very professional. He responded to every email I sent very quickly and even went out of his way to find the perfect song for our first dance. Winston did a mixture of steel drums along with singing and did an amazing job. We highly recommend The Island Boys for anyone looking for a great steel drum band. -

Booked Winston and his son with a month's notice for our cocktail hour and rehearsal dinner - they were EXCELLENT!!! So friendly and easy to deal with - excellent musicians - didn't sound "cheesy" as some steel drum vendors can be - and were truly professional! Wish I could fly them to Boston for the weekend!!! Thank you SOO MUCH! -

The Island Boys were a perfect touch to our tropical wedding theme. The music and steel drums sounded amazing. We would definately hire them again. -

Island Boys was listed as a preferred vendor from a list that I received from my wedding coordinator. Thank goodness I used them! Having Winston there for my ceremony and reception totally changed the mood and beat of my wedding! My guests said that they felt like they were on an island away from the stress and pressures of reality... and can I just say that walking down the aisle to the Wedding March played on a steel drum is so romantic and fun! Using a steel drum was a surprise for my husband and guests... I only told one person that I was having this. What a great memory is was to see my husband giving me a smile as I walked down the aisle... knowing that I just surprised him! Winston was easy to work with. He is very good with communicating with his clients- via phone and email. Using The Island Boys was one of the easiest things I did with the most impact for my wedding. You should use them too... you will LOVE that decision! -

Winston was great. Everyone loved the steel drums at our wedding. He even went so far as to learn a GREEK song for me when I sent it to him just a few weeks before the ceremony!! He is very talented and very low-maintenance. You just let him know what you want and he shows up and does it, no questions asked! He was very affordable and he knows how to work that drum:) Thanks Winston! The music was beautiful! -

Absolutely wonderful to work with. A steel drum band is what we really wanted for our beach wedding, and Winston was a delight, accomodating our every request. We highly recommend them! -

Josh did a great job. He played Canon in D and the wedding march on steel drums for our beach ceremony music. It was perfect. -

The Island Boys were supposed to play ceremony & cocktail hour steel drum music. The person that was supposed to play broke his wrist 2 days before our wedding so they had to send someone else in their place. I would love to say she was good athough I was so caught up in everything I barely heard her! I did ask them to learn a song (The feather song from Forrest Gump) and they happliy obliged! She learned it as well. Overall we really appreciate what they did and enjoyed the music! -

Winston and the Islandboys Band were fantastic! It consisted of Winston, the lead singer and steel drummer, and his acoustic guitarist, Brad. We originally planned our wedding outside in the beautiful Florida sunshine but it ended up pouring on the wedding day. Winston simply rolled with the punches and brought everything inside and walking down the aisle to a steel drum version of Here Comes the Bride is something I'll never forget! They sounded amazing and all our guests thought they were really different and refreshing from an average DJ. I'd use them again in a heartbeat! -
