Hornblower cruises and events far exceeded our expectations. We booked from Arizona & Kristie was beyond helpful by making sure we had all of our questions answered. The day of the crew on board were amazing. Helpful, kind & just plain great. The food, the view and the peoplemade our wedding day on of a kind :)

I had my wedding in November on the Lord Hornblower. I was planning my wedding from out of state but had family in San Diego helping me. Kristie and Jill were fantastic to work with, and let us view the boat several times to get all of pur plans set and for my family to take pictures to send to me since I couldn't be there. The entire experience was wonderful and very organized. They set up the reception exactly how I wanted, and they had a coordinator the day of to make sure everything ran smoothly. The DJ (Laura Jane) was excellent, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The cake was included and the catering was the best wedding food I have ever had! My guests raved about the venue and how unique it was to sail around on the bay for a wedding!

I recently had my Rehearsal Dinner on the Renown boat chartered and catered by Hornblower Cruises. Not only was the idea unique and the scenery beautiful, but the staff was very easy, friendly, and served a delicious cuisine. In planning my event Kristie was a joy to work with. She was extremely flexible in showing the options of boats to me (she gave up her Saturday). Kristie was also very flexible in allowing us to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel in Coronado. All of my guests, including myself, truly enjoyed the entire experience.

We had the best day! Hornblower took care of everything. Kristie was awesome in the planning, and on the day of, Paul did a fabulous job. (We were on the "High Spirits") The food was great and everyone had a wonderful time. We just wished it would have lasted longer because the time flew by! I highly recommend Hornblower.

I would highly recommend Hornblower Cruises & Events. My partner and I got married on the "Renown" in September of 2008. It was a wonderful experience to work with Kristie DeFalco and Jena Beal. These two ladies are terrific, caring professionals. Kristie and Jena were only a phone call away and walked me through every detail and phase of our wedding, reception cruise.

The Hornblower vendors we used for providing the cake, flowers and the DJ were exceptional. Without a doubt we got a tremendous value for our money spent with Hornblower Cruises. We had our ceremony and reception on a San Diego Hornblower 4-hour cruise. We live in Iowa, so this was a destination wedding. The staff were excellent and very responsive - nearly all our communication was done via email, which I preferred. Jillian answered all my questions with the patience of a saint. The wedding itself was lovely, the food wonderful (I am still hearing compliments about the food), and the service exceptional.
This is a fantastic way to have your wedding done, and it was all so simple and easy.

We had our wedding reception on this cruise and it was fantastic! They provided us with a great meal, a lovely cake, and a fun DJ for our first dance. They also provided us with a photo towards the beginning of the cruise to take home as a memory. The staff was very polite and nice, and the wedding cake turned out so gorgeous! We had 10 people in total, and they simply helped us move two tables together so we felt more like a "wedding party."

The DJ was helpful in deciding when to do our first dance (what times were best), and she had a large collection of songs to choose from.

The cruise was 3 hours long - not too short and not too long. It was a great night for a great wedding! I highly recommend them.

My husbad and I had our reception on Hornblower cruises out of San Diego. We did everything online because we were no longer living in the area. I have to say, Jillian Vandegrift was amazing! She had so much patience with us changing our mind about the cake and date five times. We didn't get a chance for cake tasting, but when we got on the boat for dinner, we were amazed. The DJ even announced us and played our first song. The cake, was the best cake I have ever had. It was so moist and flavorful. We were so nervous about how the cake would taste, and if it would be dry, but it was wonderful! Even the buttercream, which I do not usually care for was tasty. It was a simple design we chose, but it was perfect. We drank champagne, and danced, and dinner was delicious. Every one in our party had a great time, and the dinner cruise was a first time for most of our guests. We would reccommend this to anyone looking for a good time and intimate setting for their wedding reception.

The Abbey was amazing. They had a list of vendors that were so great to work with I would recommend them to anyone. I really liked the fact that the bar was per person rather that per drink. It made having an open bar a little easier to deal with.

We had wonderful time and would definitely do it again!

I love Hornblower. They offer elegant cruises. It is beautiful on the water!
