Best Decision Ever!
Being an event planner I naturally researched and contacted 15+ photographers before I decided to use Cascade Hills preferred vendors list to find Kellie. From the first meeting with Kellie, I immediately felt at ease and knew I needed to book her. Kellie's process from start to finish is nothing short of amazing. She truly goes the extra mile to make sure you have the perfect wedding day! She puts special touches on everything, makes amazing recommendations, and crushes the photographer timeline. The best part about booking with Kellie was that it did not feel like just a transaction. She goes above and beyond to make her clients feel so special. My husband and I are beyond grateful for Kellie's services and will cherish our photos forever.

The Best Photographer
I’m not from the area, so I did a lot of research when looking for a photographer for my wedding. After looking at dozens, I found her website and all of her fantastic reviews. Her photos were by far the best ones I had seen. We had our engagement photoshoot as well as our wedding photos with Kellie, and my husband and I can’t say enough good things. Not only is she incredibly kind, sweet, generous, and talented, but I had other photographers approaching me about our photos because they were so impressed. She’s so professional, responsive, detailed, and she will do anything it takes to get the photos that you want for your special days. Kellie, and Hetler Photography are absolutely amazing! I had worked with Kellie a few times before we hired her for our wedding, so I knew that having her as our photographer would make the memories of our day wonderful! We had Kellie and Kristi photograph our wedding and they were amazing. They took absolutely beautiful pictures! Our guests have commented on how amazing the photographs are and how they are unlike any other wedding pictures. I am having a hard time picking out my favorite ones because I love so many of them.
They truly care about weddings. I did not notice them at all during the ceremony and they were able to capture breathtaking shots! They had a list of the types of pictures we wanted and those are the pictures we got. We couldn't be happier with the end result! I will be recommending Hetler Photography to everyone I know because of their quality and reliability. Your wedding is only one day, pick a photographer that will capture every beautiful moment of your wedding with amazing pictures, pick Hetler Photography!!We had Kellie and Kristi photograph our wedding and they were amazing. Kellie and her team at Hetler Photography are fabulous. Kellie customized a package for us to meet our wedding needs and budget by creating an associate photographer option. Not only did she meet our financial needs, she was there whenever we needed her. We had an out-of-state wedding (we live in FL) and it was great to have a vendor such as Kellie who quickly responded to any e-mail (okay, many e-mails) to address any questions or concerns.
It was an absolute joy to work with her associate photographer, Kristi and Kellie's husband, Joe, who was the second shooter. Krisit is extremely upbeat, positive, patient, and accommodating. She surpassed all of my expectations. The wedding photos Kristi and Joe captured allow my family and I to relive our beautiful wedding forever. I absolutely treasure all the images they captured on our day.

They should charge more! The quality is very comparable or better than higher end (and priced!!) photographers in the Grand Rapids/Lansing area. We originally had a $4000 budget for wedding photos, but Hetler Photography came in under that and were exactly what we wanted. The photos are classic and still modern. I like that they don't use the gimmicky poses or trendy photoshop actions, you can tell that they really know how to use their cameras and work with the lighting. I've had people that I don't even know very well or haven't spoken to in years comment on Facebook about how much they love the photos. They are beautiful and timeless and will hang in our house forever.
I have seen photos from other friends that have been married recently all over Michigan (and the U.S) and I've noticed that Hetler Photography gave out a lot more proofs. They don't just share the same few dozen pictures and change up the coloring, they give you SO MANY to choose from. It's not just about how many pictures they share with you, but also about the quality. They were all great and it was so hard to choose what ones to hang up. I was so happy that they were able to capture moments that I didn't get a chance to notice on the wedding day. I loved every singe picture (except for a few from the end of the night when my hair was messy, LOL). They did a great job with the detailing the entire day. Our friends even commented at the wedding about how much fun the photographers were and that they were they were so impressed that they were always snapping! I have told friends and co-workers how much we paid for our wedding photos and everyone is always shocked! I would have gone over our budget for these guys!
The only negative was that it took about a month to get all of our proofs, but I guess it's because they take so many and that I was soo excited to see them all!They should charge more! I loved every singe picture (except for a few from the end of the night when my hair was messy, LOL). They did a great job with the detailing the entire day. Our friends even commented at the wedding about how much fun the photographers were and that they were they were so impressed that they were always snapping! I have told friends and co-workers how much we paid for our wedding photos and everyone is always shocked! I would have gone over our budget for these guys!
The only negative was that it took about a month to get all of our proofs, but I guess it's because they take so many and that I was soo excited to see them all! -
