A Perfect Honeymoon in Greece!

We hired Petros back in 2019 and he stuck with us through two COVID delays. He was incredibly responsive throughout the entire ordeal and seamlessly moved all of our reservations. During our initial call, he asked a ton of questions to make sure he understood the type of trip we were looking for, and we ended up with the perfect honeymoon. We went to Athens, Crete, Santorini, and Naxos over two weeks in September and loved every moment. Petros books luxury, private drivers at each new location and this was an awesome perk! He will work within your budget and make sure your getting awesome service. We stayed at some of the nicest hotels we've ever experienced, and we travel a ton! Choose Petros for your Greece honeymoon and you can't go wrong!

Perfect Honeymoon Experience

If the stresses of planning a wedding weren’t bad enough throw into the mix planning your honeymoon. With so many destinations to choose from, trying to figure out the best website to utilize for booking flights, hotels, excursion, etc. turns what should be an exciting trip to plan into a very overwhelming experience.
After searching countless websites me and my fiancé were about to give up hope until we stumble upon Hellenic Holiday’s website. After viewing their webpage (https://www.hellenicholidays.com) I immediately reached out via email describing our ideal honeymoon/budget and not much to my surprise I received a detailed and prompt response from the owner of the travel agency Petros and just like that our honeymoon of a life time was booked.
Petros is extremely friendly, professional, and detailed oriented and he absolutely leaves no stone unturned to ensure you experience a trip of a life time. Throughout the process he really takes the time to get to know you and learn about your interests to ensure his recommendations fit your needs accordingly. I was amazed by the level of detail provided in his itinerary and his daily breakdown was phenomenal when it came time to planning what to do and where to eat for lunch and dinner each day. He also arranges all of your transportation throughout your trip ensuring you get to each destination on time and most importantly stress free.
Petros delivered on his word and provided us with a once in a life time honeymoon to Greece (Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini) and an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives. I highly recommend Hellenic Holidays to all newlyweds looking for a stress free once in a life time trip where all you have to do is show up and enjoy the time spent with your significant other.

Amazing honeymoon!

My husband and I had a spectacular trip to Greece!!! With all the wedding planning, both of us didn't have time to plan out our honeymoon. We came across Hellenic Holidays and talked to Petros. He was very professional and provided an excellent itinerary with all hotels that we were looking into. It was perfect to just follow his playbook/itinerary and restaurant recommendations. The playbook as well as the itinerary were on point. We had great service, awesome excursions, and perfect resorts everywhere!! I HIGHLY recommend working with Petros for your next trip to Greece. Best Honeymoon Ever!

We used Petros/Hellenic Holidays for our 2-week honeymoon to Greece and it was the best decision we could ever make. From the initial phone call discussing our ideas and expectations to being on-call during our actual vacation, Petros was beyond accommodating and helpful for every step of the way. He took our vision and what we wanted out of our honeymoon, and custom tailored our vacation to perfection. With every stop, city, restaurant, activity, resort that we stayed at, we were more and more "Wowed!" as days went on. Honeymoon to Greece

Hellenic Holidays (and more specifically, Petros) organized the best trip that we have ever taken in our lives. We opted for a 12 night trip to Greece for our honeymoon, and the suggestions and attention to detail that was provided was second to none. He ensured that we had more options for eating, drinking, and fun than we could ever imagine for each day, and all of his recommendations were phenomenal. The hotels that were chosen for us should be particularly recognized - each were unique and top class. Petros made himself available for any and all questions before and during our trip, and we cannot possibly thank him enough for the experience he helped to tailor for us.

Honeymoon to Greece

Great prices for a beautiful honeymoon experience! Petros is very professional, and works hard to make sure everything is just how you'd like and within your budget. I enjoyed working with him to plan such a special trip. They always answer their phones, and if you call after hours (keep in mind time zone difference) they'll always get back to you asap. DREAM Honeymoon

My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon last week and it was truly an unbelievable trip. We did a total of 9 nights in Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. Petros listens to what is important to you and caters the itinerary to match. Each hotel he recommended was better than the last and we loved each one in each city. Every time we stepped off a plane or ferry there was someone waiting for us and it was so nice not to have to worry about a thing. We had such an amazing time, we didn't want to come home.

The food and wine were incredible and we are still craving each meal we ate throughout the trip. Petros recommendations were all delicious and we were so grateful for his assistance at each location. His itinerary was so detailed and let us know exactly how much to tip along the way - something we were very unsure about.

Overall I would definitely recommend using Hellenic Holidays if you are considering traveling to Greece. It can be very overwhelming when trying to book on your own and Petros makes it extremely easy and definitely a trip to remember!

My wife and I went on a trip to Greece in August. We were Celebrating a belated Honeymoon and my 40th birthday. It was my first time there and my wife has been several times. We used Hellenic Holidays to arrange the entire trip for us. I have been all over Europe and many other places and must say this trip takes the cake! Petros and the team at Hellenic couldn't have done a better job. Everything was taken care of from the moment we arrived until the day we left. The hotel choices were top notch along with the excursions he planned for us during the day. (If your visiting Santorini I recommend doing the catamaran and wine tour excursion.) He also gave great recommendations for restaurants along with activities to do during our leisure time. If your planning a trip to Greece I HIGHLY recommend using Hellenic !

My wife and I went through Hellenic Holidays for our honeymoon and we couldnt be happier. Petros is very passionate about his work and it really shows. After our trip, we felt as though we could not have possibly truly experienced Greece without Petros’ help. Every restaurant recommendation, to the hotel accomodations and overall recommendations for daily activities were thoroughly organized and explained before we left and he didnt steer us wrong once. We used Hellenic Holidays (Petros) as the travel agent for our honeymoon and couldn't be happier. We decided years ago that we wanted to do Greece for the honeymoon but never really looked into details, islands, etc. After a quick google search we found Petros. From the first conversation, we knew we were going to be in good hands. He walked us through all of our options for different Islands, hotels, the good/bad, what to do and what not to do. We ended up choosing Athens, Mykonos, Naxos, and Santorini. Petros did an incredible job of planning our honeymoon from start to finish. Hotels, private transportation, private tours, travel between islands, meals, excursions, etc. Everything was planned perfectly. It was a dream honeymoon and we would recommend Hellenic Holidays to anyone who wants to go to Greece. Overall, I can’t say enough good things about Petros. He gave us the Greece trip of a lifetime and we will definitely use him for next time we go back!

Second To None service! The trip, which was a 10-day Excursion in Greece for our honeymoon, went off without a hitch. Petros and his team treat you like a VIP no matter who you are. “PETROS FOR THE WIN!” we kept finding ourselves saying this throughout our 10-day honeymoon in Athens, Naxos and Santorini. Not only was every hotel and restaurant recommendation on point, but he completely took the legwork out of the trip. This is SO NICE after planning a wedding for more than a year. He literally thought through every single thing. For example, one of the drivers give us our ferry tickets so we wouldn’t have to waste time getting them. He checked us into our flights (within Greece) and purchased additional luggage allowances. Also ensured our transfers were on time, with plenty of time to spare. Throughout the entire process he was patient (we had him redo our itinerary 3 times because we couldn’t decide where we wanted to go/for how long) and never complained. Just prior to the trip, he gave us a final itinerary with thorough explanations of things to do, sights to see, who to hire, where to go, etc. This thing was our bible, and it left just enough planned and just enough free time to go with the flow and get into our own rhythm for the trip. He also made himself available via cell phone/what’s app, but we didn’t need to contact him because everything was going so well. Did I mention we had two “surprise” hotel upgrades while we were there?

It was absolutely the best vacation of our lives… the perfect way to begin our new life together… due in large part to the fact that we used Hellenic Holidays for our trip.

We honeymooned to Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. Petros created the most amazing experience for us including luxury accommodations, easy and convenient transfers, excellent itinerary and restaurant recommendations and great service while we were planning our trip. Petros was even able to respond to a message sent to him at 3am in the states regarding a change in flight information that would impact our transfer from the airport to the hotel. Our trip exceeded our expectations. We would most definitely use Petros and Hellenic Holidays again for a future Greek vacation!

Epic Honeymoon!
Thank you Petros for arranging the trip of a lifetime for us. I was happy enough just having a beautiful new wife in my life but Petros you had to go and blow my mind with a level of adventure, scenery, food and history that is Greece. Whether we were 4 wheeling through Naxos, beach hopping by ferry through Mikanos or dining on a catarmaran at sunset every moment was greater than the last no exaggeration. Just wow! Using Petros for our honeymoon might have been the best thing we did. From the beginning he was completely helpful, personable, diligent, and knowledgeable. He knows the Greek islands so well and put together a trip for us with countless recommendations of restaurants, activities, etc that were spot on. We used Hellenic Holidays for our honeymoon and the trip was absolutely fantastic.

Starting with the logistics of the trip, everything was taken care of and went smoothly. It was so reassuring to simply arrive in the airport and know we has a transfer waiting at each destination. On top of that, every person Petros set us up with were knowledge, accommodating and most importantly friendly!

There is not one thing I would've have changed about the trip, and I would like to add how great Petros's recommendations were. From the restaurants to the tours, everything he suggested was prefect. In fact, one restaurant he sent us to in Naxos was so delicious, we recommended it to others at the hotel we stayed at, and everyone came back raving about it.

I highly recommend not only going to Greece, but using Hellenic Holidays for your honeymoon. Trust in Petros, he will not disappoint.

We can’t say enough about the hard work Petros put into our perfect honeymoon! We were very fortunate to come across his website - Petros was incredibly responsive and we connected over his passion for Greece and envisioning a top-tier experience for us given our varied interests. He suggested Athens, Náxos and Santorini to capture history, nature and leisure all in one trip - after booking with him, every other major concern was taken care of seamlessly. In a busy year for us, I can’t say enough about what a relief it was to “unload” one big ticket item onto a trusted partner, and have it managed without fuss or issue. Prior to our trip, we received a detailed itinerary that told us where to go and what to expect from each transfer, tour and experience we booked; also within were recommendations for attractions, walks, and high-quality dining (we followed through on several of these, and were not disappointed!) Petros scheduled another call with us to ensure the itinerary was clear, and to share other useful tips (we were going to travel with a nominal amount of cash for instance; Petros told us to take advantage of low State-side fees and double it - he was entirely correct in this, with many smaller shops and tavernas still preferring cash). Petros alerted us early to an air controller strike that would delay our flight, allowing us to reschedule transfer to our departing airport; on his end, his team was ready and waiting for our late flight when we reached Athens. In similar fashion, every experience we booked through Petros or at his recommendation was smooth, allowing us to really enjoy our time in each locale. Our accommodations were excellent - exactly as described (certainly no bad surprises - there were a few good ones!), with fantastic staff and proximity to major attractions. The focus of our honeymoon was truly in spending time with each other and appreciating Greece! - we enthusiastically recommend HH and Petros to others wanting a great honeymoon!

Petros planned us the best honeymoon ever! For our honeymoon, we knew we wanted to do Greece but didn't know specifics. That's where Petros came in. He walked us through all of our options for different Islands, and from there hotels. We ended up doing Athens, Mykonos, Naxos, and Santorini. Petros did an incredible job of planning our honeymoon from start to finish. As a bride, I had enough to plan with the wedding so to be stress-free about the honeymoon was priceless. Petros arranged all the transportation once we got to Greece, activities, recommendations for Meals- everything was just amazing. Whenever we had to leave for the next stop, someone was waiting to pick us up or drop us off. It was a seamless trip. Petros also had us add him on WhatsApp and he was available for questions throughout our whole trip which was really nice! Overall, I can't say enough good things about Petros. You're in good hands with Petros and Hellenic Holidays! My wife and I booked our honeymoon through Petros and he did an amazing job in designing our itinerary. He is extremely knowledgeable about all things Greece and was able to answer all of our questions until we felt comfortable that our itinerary was tailored to our vision. Words cannot describe the incredible job Petros did for my wife and I. From the first time I spoke to him I knew he was the right person to guide us. The final itinerary he sent us was so detailed it gave us many different options every day as well as great restaurant recommendations. When we were in Santorini we were scheduled to go on a boat the next day. Petros called us to let us know it was going to be a little too windy and would arrange for us to reschedule. Hiring Petros was the best decision my husband and I made when booking our honeymoon! We didn't have to stress or worry about a thing leading up to the trip. He does all the leg work, you just have to show up (with the extremely detailed itinerary he makes for you). Petros helped us design a custom trip that was romantic, magical and unforgettable. Petros is caring, detail-oriented and passionate about his career and all of his clientele. He makes you feel special and takes his time to develop a unique trip that fits your personality and interests. This isn't like ordering off a menu. Petros is your personal chef and will cook you up a trip that fits your desires, interests and budget. Speaking of budget, Hellenic Holidays is worth every penny! You couldn't book a trip yourself cheaper than what Petros can offer. What sets Petros apart is that he travels to Greece every year to foster business relationships and create new ones. My husband and I were so busy planning our wedding and we wanted our trip to Greece for our honeymoon to be a trip of a lifetime. I was a bit hesitant at first to work with a travel advisor that I couldn’t meet in person, but Petros put me at ease after my first phone call with him and after seeing the initial itinerary he put together for us. He answered all our questions and was extremely attentive to detail and very responsive. He has traveled to Greece so many times, so had a personal experience with every hotel, restaurant, beach, excursion, and trip that he either planned for us, or recommended to us. Our trip consisted of 1 night in Athens, 4 nights in Santorini, 3 in Naxos, and 3 in Mykonos. All we had to do was book our trip to and from Athens and Petros took care of the rest. It was such a breeze traveling from one island to the next along with having all of our transfers pre-arranged to get us to and from the hotels. Petros knows what he’s talking about and I would highly recommend him to anyone planning a wedding to take some of the added stress away so you can just relax and enjoy your honeymoon!

There aren't enough words to say how amazing Hellenic Holidays is! Petros is so knowledgeable about all parts of Greece and worked to create the perfect honeymoon itinerary to meet our needs/ requests. His recommendations for activities and restaurants were spot on. We truely felt like we were getting an authentic Greek experience. Petros was so accessible and was always ready to answer all our questions. I definitely recommend Petros! I was looking into other travel agencies for our honeymoon, but Petros won me over. From start to finish Petros is literally on top of everything! A week before your trip, he will go over specifics, recommendations, etc. so you're prepared for the trip. You'll feel like you're connected to him at all times if there was a problem to rise up during your trip because he tells you to message him through Viber. Before our honeymoon I asked him if we could have a specific room number at one of the hotels and I literally asked him last minute and I didn't think he could accommodate it since it was last minute and he said he can't guarantee it. I didn't get my hopes up because I would've understood. BUT when we got there we got the room I wanted! I then messaged him on Viber and he said it was a surprise! So I thought that was really sweet of him and how much he cares about his clients. We went to Athens, Crete, Santorini, and Mykonos. All the hotels he set us up in we're amazing! He is VERY organized and like I said is on top of everything even coming down to boarding passes for every flight/ferry/speed boat. Thank you Petros for a memorable honeymoon! Btw, I already recommended you to someone! Lol

I would recommend Petros to anyone going to Greece - for their honeymoon or otherwise. He was extremely helpful as we were planning the trip, consulting us about our preferences and providing a thorough itinerary before we left. I can easily say the honeymoon was the least stressful part of planning the entire wedding. When we arrived in Greece, Petros took care of EVERYTHING. Each place we stayed was stunning with incredible service. The restaurants and suggested activities gave us great options but did not make us feel too scheduled. Finally, his availability throughout the honeymoon - checking us into flights, being there via text if we had any questions - was very helpful. Although, we didn't end up having many questions, since he prepared us so well beforehand, it was reassuring to know he was there. Our honeymoon was incredible thanks to Petros!!!

Petros created our DREAM Honeymoon. From start to finish we were so impressed with him. He goes above and beyond to ensure your honeymoon is filled with exciting plans and beautiful hotels. He tailored our trip from transportation, hotel, restaurants and excursions. I travel a lot and the way he organized the trip- I never want to travel without Petros help again! He spoiled us! The biggest stressor that you do not want to worry about on your honeymoon can be transportation. Petros lined up drivers for every step of our trip and that was so incredible. When we got off the ferry or airplane- to have someone there holding a sign and guiding you to where you need to go in a country you are unfamiliar with was such a life saver.
The hotel choices were unbelievable. Thank you so much Petros! Thank you for allowing us to text you while we were over there too with last minute questions. So wonderful!

My wife and I could not have asked for a better honeymoon! Petros ensured our trip was seamless and luxurious from our arrival to the moment we left 10 days later. All we had to do was purchase our flight tickets to/from Athens and Petros was able to handle the rest including hotel reservations, domestic flights, excursions, tours, and recommendations for every meal. The itinerary Petros lined up for us gave us plenty of ideas to keep busy and was flexible enough for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. Each hotel we stayed at was beautiful and centrally located with a private balcony accompanied by an amazing view. Thanks to his connections, we were even upgraded to a room with a private, cave-style hot tub in Santorini. Petros ensured we were greeted with wine and champagne upon arrival at each hotel. All of our private transfers were timely and stress free. He even put in the late hours to check us in and make sure our domestic flights were on schedule! Our favorite part of the trip was a semi private catamaran ride around Santorini. The crew was fun, energetic and made us a fantastic traditional meal to enjoy at sunset. After our itinerary was assembled Petros scheduled a call to make sure we were comfortable and that all questions were answered. He really does think of everything you need! Our vacation really surpassed our expectations and I would recommend Hellenic Holidays to anyone looking to have a trip of a lifetime!

Visiting Greece has always been on my bucket list, so when the question of where to go on our honeymoon came up, I campaigned hard to get my husband on board (and that's putting it gently). After plying him with beautiful photos and potential itineraries (all from the Hellenic Holidays website), he agreed.

I contacted Petros at the end of July, just over a month before we intended to take our honeymoon. He acted quickly and set up a conference call with me to get a sense of what my husband and I were looking for so that he could begin to plan a trip for us that would suit our personalities and likes. He answered all of my many questions and after finishing that call I was certain that we were in excellent hands and would be in for the trip of a lifetime!

Several email exchanges and phone calls later, we had decided on our destinations: Athens, Naxos, and Santorini. Because Petros has so many contacts, he was still able to work his magic and book us in amazing hotels (even with the short notice we gave him). In my opinion, he performed a small miracle booking us such a wonderful trip in that brief span of time.

In addition to the great accommodations, he arranged all of our transfers (including ferry rides to the islands) and two great excursions. He also provided us with an extremely detailed itinerary with suggested restaurants and activities for every day we were in Greece. This was invaluable and we referred to it daily during our trip. We were fortunate to be able to try a good amount of his recommendations and each one was better than the last, which further proved to us his knowledge and expertise of all things Greece.

Overall, it was such a pleasant experience working with Petros and I would recommend Hellenic Holidays to anyone planning to travel to Greece. Thank you for everything, Petros!

Hellenic Holidays provided impeccable service. We had never used a travel agent before and were somewhat apprehensive about ceding control of our honeymoon to someone else, but we are so glad that we did. Petros and Hellenic Holidays planned and executed a honeymoon beyond anything we could have put together ourselves. After the trip had been planned, we unexpectedly needed to delay our honeymoon by a whole year, and Petros was incredibly gracious and accommodating in making this change. Hellenic Holidays is the best travel agency! Petros took care of every little detail on this trip, we told him exactly were we wanted to go in Greece and he sure did an excellent job. we chose Athens, Mykonos and Santorini, what an amazing time we had. A week before our honeymoon, we had a conference call with him and explained our itinerary and was very specific on what we needed to bring with us. He also provided us with a very detail booklet with names and addresses of restaurants, bars, lounges and what we must see in each place, we follow every instruction he gave us and everything was excellent! we had private transportation, they were great people as well. In Athens, we toured Acropolis (private tour) our guide tour was great and very knowledgeable of the history, my husband was very happy (he loves history). Also The hotels were excellent, very nice people, always making sure we were ok with everything. Mykonos hotel had an amazing view of the beach and the restaurants excellent food. In Santorini, he arranged a semi-private sailing tour, it was amazing! the captain and the crew were awesome, they provided us food, wine, soda, water, everything was unbelievable. We watched the most beautiful sunset from the yacht with champagne and fresh fruits. Our Hotel in Santorini was located on the highest point of the Island and we had the most breathtaking view, every morning they will bring our breakfast to our balcony to enjoy the view. Overall, Petros did an outstanding job and we had and amazing time in Greece. Thank you Petros you Rock!!!!!!!

Petros and Hellenic Holidays were a perfect choice for our Honeymoon. We booked late for the busy season, but he was able to make it work for our schedule and budget. We chose the Athens/Naxos/Santorini package and it was incredible. VIP treatment all the way. Whenever we had activities scheduled, we had private transportation to our destination and back to the hotel. This was the first time I had traveled internationally and Petros could hear the anxiousness in my voice - he made me feel at ease by explaining the details. True to his word, he thought of every detail and made himself available if we had any issues. He checked in on us from time to time to make sure everything was running smoothly. For the days we had leisure time, he had great suggestions for things to do and his recommendations for restaurants were top notch. We plan to go back to Greece in the future and will definitely use Hellenic Holidays again.

We were referred to Petros by some friends who took the same honeymoon a couple years perviously. It is really difficult to put into words how amazing our trip to Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini was. Petros worked with us every step of the way. He was truly amazing from start to finish. Once we arrived in Athens, we barely had to lift a finger. Everything was perfectly planned until the time we left ten days later. The highlight of the trip was the private sailing tour we took in Santorini. The crew, food, and experience as a whole were all amazing. Lastly, to give you an idea of the dedication Petros has for his customers, he got up in the middle of the night to check is in for our flights. There are no bounds that Petros will not cross to ensure a memorable experience. You can't go wrong!

I am one of those people who loves to plan out every detail of my vacations myself; however, between work and planning a wedding - it just was not possible. Enter Petros and Hellenic Holidays! We booked our flights to and from Athens, and Petros handled the rest down to the littlest detail. The hotels were beautiful and centrally located, we were greeted with champagne/wine & fruit at each hotel, and were met with private transfers to and from our hotels. Petros arranged for a private walking tour in Athens with a local guide which was phenomenal and a semi-private sunset sail around Santorini which was more than phenomenal. Petros even handled checking us in for our flights while we abroad so that we didn't have to stress about anything. He scheduled a phone call with us a week before we left to go over the itinerary and any questions, and he made himself available to us should anything happen while we were overseas. All in all, we were both very pleased with Petros and had the honeymoon we dreamed of!

Petros and Hellenic Holidays sure gets a lot of 5* reviews, doesn't he? Well I figured it might be nice for someone to be a bit more honest on here and tell you some of the shortcomings of Petros and his company. So here goes nothing.

Shoot, I couldn't come up with a single thing.

Seriously, though, Petros is fantastic. My wife and I are the type of people who are willing to pay a little extra for peace of mind and to avoid the time-sink that comes with planning something we aren't super familiar with. Petros was worth every penny (and while I can't prove it, I came away feeling like his services were free since I'm pretty sure he got us deals we otherwise would not have gotten and made the whole trip cost a bit less anyway).

His detailed itinerary gives you the perfect road map of how to spend your vacation even if, as we did, you go for two whole weeks. Here's the best part, though: he builds in plenty of free time and/or optional activities that you never feel over-stressed. Also, every food recommendation he gave was spot on so while in Greece, avoid the tourist trap restaurants that are prevalent and stick with his suggestions. You won't be sorry.

There is one more thing I'd like to say (there's plenty more I COULD say, but other reviews have covered those things ad nauseum), and it's probably the most important. There is an intangible in Petros that is hard to describe that just blew my wife and I away. It has to do with instinct, I think. If I look back on our trip, for 13 days, he got every order 100% correct. Every time we woke up feeling like we'd been busy for a couple days and I was really tired, I'd look at my itinerary and there was a built in rest day. Every time we woke up energetic and feeling like an adventure, our itinerary provided just that.

Folks, that's something you can't teach. Petros cares deeply about his service, has mastered every detail of that service, and I cannot possibly recommend somebody

If it were possible to give 10+ Stars, we would !! Petros helped Adrian and I plan the Honeymoon of a lifetime! From the minute we first chatted (and subsequently met since we are also in NYC) and explained what we were hoping for, Petros took care of everything. From finding the perfect hotels (we wanted something central, with a king-size bed, preferably with a great restaurant and/or bar ...), to the daily suggestions of what to do & where to eat, no stone was left un-turned. Two days after our wedding, we headed off on our adventure with our 20+ page itinerary & excitement that was difficult to contain! We quickly realized that Petros' recommendations were spot on and so we did what everyone should do – we followed his plan! In Athens we sought out bars and restaurants on the list, and our scheduled private walking tour of The Acropolis was nothing short of spectacular. The trip up to the top of Lykavittos Hill was so special, and something that we would never have done had he not suggested it as a fun afternoon activity! After 2 days in Athens we headed to Santorini, where we spent most of our honeymoon ... WOW. We knew we were in good hands from the minute we arrived. We cross-checked some of the suggestions with our local driver, and even he said "this guy is amazing!" We arrived at our hotel in Oia and were spoiled from the minute we stepped foot in the lobby. Welcome fruit & sparkling rose were waiting in our room, complementing a view over-looking the Caldera that left us speechless. Our planned Santorini Wine Tour was incredible, and the Sunset Sail aboard the Triton (a 43' luxury catamaran care of Captain Ted), was our favorite part of the whole trip! We were with 4 other Hellenic Holiday travelers that afternoon, and we all commented on how incredible Petros had been !!! Dinners at Red Bicycle & Ginger Sushi were out of this world - just amazing! Petros, you helped us make incredible memories that we will never forget. THANK YOU !!!

When my husband, Brian, and I got engaged, planning our honeymoon to Greece was a no-brainer. The honeymoon registry we used (honeyfund.com) recommended using Hellenic Holidays to plan our trip. After our first phone call with Petros, we were so confident he would plan an incredible trip that we wasted no time in putting down a deposit. I wish I had the words to express how unbelievably amazing our honeymoon turned out to be. Petros took care of EVERY SINGLE detail. He was able to secure upgrades for us during every leg of our trip: an updated suite in Athens, Crete, Santorini and Mykonos, business class transfers on our high speed ferries, private VIP check-ins at all locations and private drivers/transfers to and from all the hotels. Everywhere we went we had a list of incredible restaurants from the "locals only" type spots to more elegant recommendations. Our tours were all private or limited to small groups (usually less than 10 people). These types of experiences added value and romance to our trip.
Before our trip, Petros was always responsive to our MANY questions and concerns (including assuaging our worries about the Greek economy). He created a beautiful itinerary and called a few days before the trip to review the itinerary and address any questions we had. He gave us all everything we would need so that we wouldn't have even a moment of stress during our trip (including a packing list specific to the activities we had planned!). He checked in with us at various points during the trip to ensure everything was going smoothly and to notify us when he pre-checked us in for transfers (again, one less thing to worry about). The service at the hotels he reserved for us was impeccable. The trip ended up SURPASSING every expectation (we didn’t want to come home!!) we had and we wish Petros could plan all of our trips for the future! If ANYONE wants to visit Greece, they need to use Petros to plan their trip!

I could not have imagined a more perfect honeymoon, and Petros and his staff at Hellenic Holidays deserve all of the credit! We spent 12 days traveling to Athens, Crete, and Santorini. Petros took our interests into consideration and tailored our trip to our preferences. It was easy to schedule an appointment with him, and the documentation he provided us was very thorough and helpful. The final itinerary he gave us provided a great blend of structure but flexibility. We had one scheduled commitment in each location (a tour of the Acropolis in Athens, a cooking class in Crete, and a sailing excursion on Santorini) and the rest of the time was left to us. We scheduled a wine tour in Santorini through the company suggested by Petros, and of course it was fun and interesting. We also appreciated the recommendations for restaurants so that we knew we were dining at some of the tastiest (and romantic) places. Petros really took care of us while we were abroad, too. We texted him a couple of times and he was really responsive. We hadn't worked with a travel agent before planning this honeymoon, and I was blown away by how easy and seamless it was. We didn't have any hiccups while traveling, and it meant a lot to us that someone else was managing the plans for the honeymoon while we were concentrating on plans for the wedding. I highly recommend Hellenic Holidays. You won't be disappointed.

Petros is an amazing travel agent! We had the most epic honeymoon to Istanbul - Mykonos - Santorini. He knew all the best places to stay and dine, things to do, even helped us put out a fire when Delta made a last minute flight cancellation. Such a nice, knowledgable person to talk to and to have on your side. Checked in on us a few times while we were away - but not enough to be intrusive. Petros, thank you so much! Our honeymoon couldn't possibly have been any better or have gone any smoother!

We used Hellenic Holidays for our honeymoon and it couldn't have been more perfect. We chose a 2-week trip to Athens, Crete, Santorini & Mykonos. From the first conversation with Petros, I knew we were going to be in good hands.

Hotels, private transportation, private tours, travel between islands, meals, excursions, etc...everything was planned perfectly. We also had many days where there was nothing planned, which allowed us to explore the islands on our own time. Each hotel Petros picked for us was perfect. The day trips he planned for us (private walking tour of Athens, Santorini wine tour, Santorini dinner cruise) were perfect! Every single detail was perfect of our trip was perfect.

Stress free honeymoon. I am so happy me and my husband used Petros to book our honeymoon vacation. We got to meet him in NYC and what a great guy! My wife and I came across Hellenic Holidays when we signed up for our Honeyfund. From the very first moment we talked to Petros, we knew we were in great hands. He made everything very easy for us. We told him our timeline and our budget and he came up with a trip proposal that met our needs. When I booked our flights to and from Greece, I made a mistake in regards to booking the return flight home. Petros called me to talk to me about my mistake and the impact this mistake could have on our last night in Santorini. He then walked me through what to say to the airline to get them to change our returning flight for little or no cost. 2 weeks before our honeymoon, Petros e-mailed me all of our travel vouchers complete with a detailed list of suggested outings for each day we were in Athens, Mykanos, and Santorini. It was absolutely wonderful!!!! The week before our honeymoon, Petros set up a time to talk to me about some last minute details and to go over a few tips and tricks for navigating Greece. I can't thank Petros enough for all of his help with planning our dream vacation. Every detail was taken care of from the hotel reservations, to the daily excursions, to the transfers to and from out destinations. We literally got off the plane or boat, looked for our name, handed the appropriate person our voucher, and off we went. Petros even went the extra mile to make sure that we were checked in for all of the flights that he booked 1 day in advance. In fact ... he even made sure that the hotel had our tickets waiting for us when we checked out on the day of our scheduled flights. If you want to book an amazing trip through an outstanding company with a man who really knows his way around Greece, look no more than Hellenic Holidays. 5 stars simply does not do Petros and his outstanding service justice.

We used Hellenic Holidays to book our honeymoon. Since we have never used this type of service, we were a bit skeptical. After eating our first meal in Athens - recommended by Hellenic Holidays - we had their absolute trust. From that moment forward, the rest of the trip was remarkable. Every detail was covered, transport between airports/hotels, flights/ferries at the islands, etc. We made reservations for the recommended restaurants per our pre-trip agenda using the hotel and we were so glad we did. The restaurants recommended were local in character, yet world-class cuisine. Without Hellenic Holidays, it would be very difficult for us to capture the truly Greek experience that most travelers seek to experience.

Using HH allowed us to truly relax and enjoy - never stressing about transportation, reservations, planning, etc. Since Petros (HH) spent time well in advance of the trip planning details with us, we felt at ease. Of all our wedding plans, the honeymoon was the best plan we had - I recommend without reservation - to work with Hellenic Holiday for any vacation to this part of the world. Their versatile knowledge base of the islands and mainland paired perfectly towards the experience we were looking for. For that, we appreciate their ability to listen - and make a trip of a lifetime for us - at a very reasonable cost.

If you are looking for a stress-free, personalized, romantic, luxurious getaway to Greece, then you need to book with Petros from Hellenic Holidays. My husband and I traveled to Greece in early August shortly after our wedding. Our planning for traveling to Greece occurred when the U.S.’s media coverage of the country’s financial crisis was at its height. While this caused my husband to develop some second thoughts, Petros was not deterred and rightly assured we would be just fine. When we arrived in mainland Greece and made our travels through the Cyclades, we could not detect even a hint of economic turmoil, and our trip was not affected at all.

Each of the locations Petros arranged for us to stay were breathtaking, gorgeous, and luxurious. Upon our arrival at each location, a bottle of champagne/wine and seasonal fruits/sweets welcomed us, courtesy of Petros. The personal touch made us feel warm and at home. Many of the staff we met actually knew Petros, evidence of relationships formed over mutual respect and frequent business with each other.

When we ran into a bit of trouble with one of our afternoon transfers (due to an unexpected airline strike out of Petros’s control), we called Petros around 6AM eastern time, and within 5 to 10 minutes, he was able to arrange alternative transportation to our destination. This scenario showed us Petros’s above-and-beyond work ethic. We were very impressed by our trip’s smoothness, and enjoyed not needing to worry about checking into transfer flights or ferries –Petros completed all this for us remotely!

While planning this trip, we desired something exciting, worthwhile, and memorable. Travelling to Greece exceeded every expectation we had for this honeymoon, thanks to Petros. If you are looking for a personal yet professional travel agent, who knows Greece like the back side of his hand, then you would be foolish not to go with Hellenic Holidays for your next Greek Holiday.

Not to sound like a cheesy informercial actor but initially, I was totally against the use of a travel agent. I figured we would just be herded with the masses and seeing only the most "touristy" destinations in Greece; I could not be more incorrect. Hellenic Holidays and Petros worked very closely with my wife and I in order to determine what we considered a perfect Honeymoon... and man did he deliver
Every time we entered a new hotel or showed up at a new location, we felt like we were in the silly commercials where "we got it booking right!"... except we did not do anything. Petros took care of all the details and we just had to show up and have a blast.

After we decided on Greece as our honeymoon destination, the thought of poring over thousands of hotel options, planning airport transfers, and researching the best activities and restaurants in each location was the last thing we wanted to do while simultaneously planning a wedding. Enter Petros and Hellenic Holidays. From the moment we contacted Petros, we knew we had made the right decision. He made himself available to discuss what we wanted out of our honeymoon and was extraordinarily flexible to talk with our busy schedules. He was almost frighteningly responsive whenever we had questions (I e-mailed him in a panic about using the Euro currency during the Greek economic crisis, and he called my cell phone within 2 minutes of me sending the e-mail). When we asked for his advice on a particular subject (room upgrades, for example), he gave a straightforward, direct response based on his experience planning thousands of trips for his clients. More importantly, the trip was executed flawlessly. Petros' network of drivers, hotel contacts, and restaurant recommendations made our experience in Greece a seamless, divine bit of serenity. His hotel choices were impeccable (Athens: Amalia Hotel, Mykonos: Myconian Ambassador, Santorini: Andronis Boutique). From cold champagne awaiting us at our hotels, to bottled water and snacks awaiting us in our private airport transfers, Petros went above and beyond in every aspect of ensuring our trip was simply incredible. With Petros taking care of logistics, we were able to enjoy our time together and absorb all that Greece has to offer. Hellenic Holidays (Petros Zissimos) did a fantastic job of planning our honeymoon to Greece. It was truly a dream vacation and more spectacular than we could have imagined. Petros covers all the details – upscale, beautiful hotels with beautiful views and a professional, friendly staff; private cars to get you to/from hotel and airport or seaport; flight check-in; excursion bookings; daily activity and restaurant recommendations and tips; and his cell phone number if you would happen to need his help! All of this so you can relax and enjoy yourself.

I typically plan vacations myself, but we picked Hellenic Holidays because unlike other travel agents, Petros focuses on only Greece and Turkey to provide his customers with a higher level of service and expertise. His hotel, restaurant, and excursion choices (especially the sunset cruise in Santorini) and his attention to detail exceeded our expectations. Look no further. Petros of Hellenic Holidays is the be-all, end-all Greek honeymoon planner. He planned the most romantic, luxurious trip to Athens, Mykonos, Naxos and Santorini. He organized every detail perfectly and it all played out seamlessly throughout all 14 days of our honeymoon, which is no small feat. His relationships with the hotel and restaurant owners creates a dynamic where you feel like you so at home and welcomed everywhere with open arms. Each of his daily recommendations were spot-on but most of all, each hotel he picked for us was one better than the next. We didn't have to do one bit of planning for our honeymoon because we were so confident that we were in good hands with Petros and we were right. Even unexpected things that occurred that were no fault of his own (airline canceled our flight, we missed our ferry, etc.), Petros was right there for us making all of our problems go away! I could not recommend Hellenic Holidays any higher--since seeing our facebook pictures, at least 6 friends have asked for his contact information! We feel lucky to have found Petros.

We worked with Petros and he was spectacular! He set up the most amazing trip for my husband and I to Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. It truly felt like a once in a lifetime honeymoon and not just a vacation. He goes to Greece every year to make sure the restaurants and the excursions he is suggesting are top notch, and EVERYTHING he suggested really was. He put together an itinerary for us that we referred to every morning. There was one day we didn't take his suggestion for lunch and it was the worst meal we had all vacation! In his itinerary he would include notes about the cuisine and what is popular to order at that restaurant, or even tell us to ask for the owner by name when we go in. They were always so happy that Petros was the one sending us. We know that we couldn't have planned such a wonderful trip without his help. He was a pleasure to work with from day one and even continued to check on us while we were away to make sure we were having a great time! I wanted to thank Hellenic Holidays from the bottom of my heart for the greatest trip we’ve both taken. Everything was taken care of, the hotels we were put in where fantastic with service excellence for all of them. It put us at ease to know that all we had to do was show up as there was always someone waiting for us to pick us up. Making a reservation for anything (car, restaurant, massages, etc) were as easy as calling the front desk of the hotels we were staying at and it was all taking care of. The experiences that were created for us will last a lifetime. I’ve never seen anything more beautiful than Greece. Santorini was our favorite island. If I could give 10 stars, I would! We found Petros with Hellenic Holidays in a google search when looking for a travel agent who specializes in Greece. We had a phone consultation and immediately knew this was the agency we wanted to plan our trip. It was the best decision we had made and one of the best experiences we have ever had with a travel agent and a trip overseas! Literally every detail was well thought and organized, and our trip went without a hitch. I have already referred 4 friends on to him bc I want my friends and family to have the same incredible experience traveling throughout Greece that we had. We worked with Petros to plan our dream honeymoon to Greece and it was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning. We met with Petros in person to discuss what we wanted in our honeymoon trip and he had the perfect set of recommendations to meet and exceed all of our of expectations. My husband and I just back from our vacation in Greece. Let me tell you how perfect it was planned!! Even though the hotel made a mistake with our boat transfer from Mykonos to Santorini Petros made up for it and more! We were beyond satisfied with our wonderful hotels and locations. In Mykonos we had a pool/sea view with a view of the sunset. We could walk to the beach with restaurants and bars within minutes. And the bus was right across the street which you could take to Little Venice.
In Santorini we ate breakfast overlooking the caldera and then got moved to a room with our own private infinity pool!
The transfers from the airport or dock were seamless with a driver waiting for you before you arrive and would pick you up right on time.
When we had an issue Petros was up at 4 in the morning to help us out! We couldnt have been happier with our trip and will plan our next trip to Greece with them as well!!

Hellenic Holidays did an amazing job with helping my wife and I plan out Honeymoon to Greece. Petros, the owner of HH, was of phenomenal help. A coworker of mine had previously went through Petros and strongly recommended him. After reaching out to him, Petros promptly setup an introductory call. He gave us background on the islands and helped guide us in direction that suited us and our budget. After finalizing our travel plans with Petros, he sent us a very thorough itinerary, including daily activities and restaurant recommendations. We had a conference call the week before our honeymoon and we reviewed the itinerary, giving tips and pointers, as well as specific directions our vehicle transfers to help put us at ease. During the honeymoon, every transfer point went smoothly, with the private drivers picking us up right on time. Petros had booked us a high-speed boat transfer from Mykonos to Santorini and upgraded us to Business Class, which worked out very well. He even sent our flight boarding passes to each hotel, so during check-in they gave them to us to make things go more smoothly. The hotels that he recommended were amazing (Mykonos Grand, Astra Suites and New Hotel), with some of the most incredible views we’ve ever seen. He helped to upgrade our rooms and each new hotel had a gift ranging from cheese and crackers to wine and champagne. The sunset cruise that he coordinated for us had an amazing dinner, excellent views and the ability to swim in the hot springs. Lastly, we took most of his recommendations for restaurants and all of them were amazing. Probably are favorite was in Mykonos called Kiki’s. This small patio was built with a tree roof extending across from it and overlooking the Sea. The patio could serve about 20-30 people and they grilled everything on a wood burning stove. Great recommendation and an outstanding meal. We would 110% use Petros and Hellenic Holidays on any future trip to Greece.

Throughout the process I had several questions about our accommodations and things to do since we were traveling to three locations in Greece. Petros always got back to me via phone or email in a timely manner to answer all of my questions. He also called me a couple days before we left for the trip to confirm and review all of our accommodations and talk through any last minute concerns that we may have had. All three hotels/resorts that Petros booked were top notch! Ryan and I felt very spoiled, everything was beautiful. The transitions from place to place and all hotel accommodations were so easy. There was always a driver expecting us when we arrived, or departed each location. Petros also provided several restaurant and activity options for each location that was convenient to where we were staying- the ones we did pursue were well worth it. Our whole trip was stress-free, exactly how a vacation should be, but we were able to experience and see a lot since everything was so nicely organized for us. I do know that Petros has wonderful relationships with the drivers everyone at each of the hotels because they all seemed to be very familiar with him. We could tell he strategically placed us in locations that made it easy to get around and do things, especially in Santorini- we were placed towards the middle of the island making it easy to plan day trips to the various towns around the island- this location also happened to be the most beautiful view of the entire island!
Greece is a beautiful country-there is so much to experience, the people, the culture and the cuisine are all amazing. We had high expectations but this trip exceeded all of them. If you are thinking about traveling to this country, we highly recommend you work with Hellenic Holidays, Inc. to ensure your trip is perfect.

We worked with Petros Zissimos from Hellenic Holidays, Inc. to plan our honeymoon to Greece this past August. It was truly a trip of a lifetime and we are so happy we booked our trip with them! Between the two of us, my husband, Ryan and I have only been to Europe a couple of times so planning a trip in another country was very intimidating. My wife and I were referred to Petros and Hellenic Holidays by a friend of ours, who had previously worked with him on a similar trip the previous summer. We began speaking to Petros in March or April, and he was able to craft an amazing honeymoon for us in just a few short months.

After speaking with Petros several times over the phone and getting his input and recommendations, we arranged a July trip with 2 nights in Athens, 3 nights in Mykonos, and 3 nights in Santorini. Our activities and accommodations were consistently first-rate, and we were well taken care of throughout our trip. Petros was able to get us complimentary upgrades, bottles of wine, gift baskets, and other VIP-type perks nearly everywhere we went. In short, we received true white glove treatment everywhere we went, and I'm sure that has everything to do with our choice of travel guide.

Petros is extremely professional and quick to respond to all emails and voicemails. He even provided us with regular updates, online check-in confirmations, and boarding passes for all of our flights and ferries while we were in Greece (and it was 3 or 4am ET for him in New York). His vast knowledge of the country and incredible attention to detail made our travel simpler than I thought possible.

If you are at all considering a trip or honeymoon to Greece and/or the Greek Islands, Hellenic Holidays must be your first call. Highest recommendation.

Luckily we found Petros Zissimos of Hellenic Holidays, who took the stress out of our hands, and in turn, gave us the Honeymoon of a lifetime - in Athens / Naxos / Santorini! Petros is an expert on the ins and outs of planning any kind of Greek holiday - from the right places to visit, the good food to eat, and the things to see. He was always there for us, including when we were on our trip. In every location we visited, every hotel manager knew Petros and raved about him, just like we are now. We ended up having to make several revisions to our itinerary before it was finalized, and he made the process very easy. I even asked him for recommendations for photographers in Santorini, and thanks to Petros, we found a photographer who took amazing honeymoon photos of us during our stay in Santorini. We received all our documents in the mail prior to our trip, and it contained a lot of helpful tips and information, such as a packing list, restaurant recommendations, and tourist attractions. We didn't have a lot of activities included in our itinerary, so we would frequently refer to the guide to find things to do and places to eat. The hotels that we stayed at provided some of the best accommodations and customer service that we've ever experienced. Our entire trip went smoothly, especially with the ease of private transfers to and from the hotels/airports. Our honeymoon to Greece was one of the best vacations we have ever experienced. We will definitely book our next trip to Greece with Hellenic Holidays.

Going into the planning of our honeymoon the only thing my husband and I were sure of was a trip to Greece, other than that we weren't sure where to start. I found Hellenic Holidays on Weddingwire and decided to give it a shot. In the first few minutes of speaking with Petros, I knew he was the agent to go with. He is so incredibly knowledgeable of all things Greek and so attentive! After some preliminary questioning he configured the best package for our tastes and our budget. In my opinion it was very affordable, especially once we arrived and found out the hotels were even more amazing in person. We spent our honeymoon in Athens, Mykonos and Santorini this past June. Everything about the trip was amazing! Petros made it so easy for us by booking all the internal travel and transfers, and suggesting restaurants and activities. I found Petros and Hellenic Holidays on weddingwire.com and had to contact him with all the amazing reviews. I dealt with some other travel agents before speaking with Petros and it was like night and day. Petros was so easy to speak with, very professional, answered e-mails and questions right away and nailed it on the head with what we wanted and expected for our honeymoon with the hotels he recommended and booked for us. Everything was absolutely outstanding. Once we told him what we wanted, he booked everything and we didn't have one thing to do besides pack and enjoy ourselves. The hotels we stayed at (New Hotel in Athens, Mykonos Grand, and Astra Suites in Santorini) welcomed us like they had already met us, and were royalty. They were so nice every morning, day, and night and extremely helpful in every way. They would call cabs for us, and even make dinner reservations. We spent 1 night in Athens, 4 nights in Mykonos, and 5 nights in Santorini. He booked us a fabulous private walking tour in Athens, and a sunset catamaran cruise in Santorini and it was spectacular. I cannot express enough how great he was to work with. He made it so easy when travelling internationally, which of course is semi scary travelling to another country, but he made me feel extremely comfortable with everything and had such a great detailed and helpful itinerary for us. He had our boarding passes printed out the night before our domestic flights in Greece and when I had a question, he contacted us within 5 minutes to make sure everything was handled. He really was an amazing travel agent and I already have recommended him to a few future couples to definitely use him if they plan on going to Greece! It was the absolute time of our lives and I will never forget what a great person he was to work with. Petros with Hellenic Holidays is the ultimate travel agent. He treated Scott and I like good friends from the beginning. To help book the honeymoon of our dreams, Petros set a side some time in which he could talk to both Scott and I to get to know us. Petros gathered all of the information about how Scott and I like to travel including our preferred destinations, favorite foods, and favorite outdoors activities to design the perfect honeymoon catered specifically to us. After talking with Petros, Scott and I knew this would be a vacation we would never forget, but little did we know that he would far exceed all of our expectations. Before we left, Petros sent us a detailed itinerary that included all of the travel vouchers and also a list of recommended destinations and amazing restaurants for each city or historic district we visited. I cannot tell you as a stressed out and overwhelmed bride how helpful this was!! Petros took all of the worrying and planning out of our hands! The only thing left to do was to relax and enjoy the amazing honeymoon he had helped us plan. During our amazing Greek honeymoon vacation we visited Athens, Crete, and Santorini. At each destination we were met with free upgrades to amazing hotel rooms with top of the line amenities and private transportations for site seeing and airport pickup. Petros did an outstanding job of planning our honeymoon. Every detail was perfect. We felt very taken care of the whole time by the hotel staffs and the private drivers who took us between our hotels and flights. We stayed at four hotels, and each one was more fabulous than the last (and all very different from one another, which we appreciated).

We traveled to 4 cities and 2 countries on our honeymoon. All of that moving around has the potential for many things to go wrong - our trip went off without a hitch. We did not have one issue the whole time. I attribute this, in large part, to Petros' expert planning.

Petros is highly professional, exceedingly organized, and extremely knowledgeable about Greece and Turkey. We could not have been happier with the experience of working with him, and would highly recommend him to anyone planning a trip to Greece and/or Turkey.

My husband and I booked our honeymoon through Hellenic Holidays. We spent 12 days/10 nights in Athens, Crete, and Santorini. Petros was a huge help with booking, he was very responsive and offered tons of suggestions. He also tipped us off to cultural differences, provided restaurant recommendations and booked excursions. Upon arriving in Greece we didn't have Petros to walk us through everything, but we didn't need him because all of the people he set us up with from drivers, to hotels, to tour guides were so outstanding. When we arrived in Athens our luggage arrived in Italy. Our driver talked to the people at the luggage desk and helped organized it's return. On our way out of Athens to catch our flight to Crete there was some kind of protest so streets were shut down. We were very late to the airport because of this. We probably would have missed our flight if not for our driver who convinced the clerk to let us skip the line. In Crete we were greeted by Ana, a tour guide for Diktynna Travel. She took us to our hotel and gave us some history on the island. Two days later took us on an amazing food/country tour of Chania, Crete. On Petros's recommendation we also rented a car one day and drove through the mountains to the beaches on the west coast of the island. It was a little scary but the views off the cliffs were worth it. In Santorini we stayed at the Astra Suites which was a beautiful hotel and super romantic. The staff is phenomenal. The sunsets are amazing.

I am so glad we chose to work with Hellenic Holidays rather than trying to put this trip together ourselves. We could have but we would not have had any way of knowing what we were going to get beyond scouring tripadvisor, hotels.com etc for review. Petros knows all the best people and all the best places to stay. He knows how to make a trip like this memorable and as flawless as possible.

Words can't even begin to describe how fabulous our honeymoon to Istanbul, Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini were. Initially, my husband was wary about using a travel agent, claiming we'd get a better deal on Orbitz or Travelocity, etc. I begged for him to follow my lead and to use Petros who I had found on WeddingWire. After meeting with Petros, he was sold, as well. Everything was handled to a T. From restaurant recommendations to airport transfers to hotel upgrades to special gifts waiting for us in each city, I can't even begin to describe how stress-free and wonderful everything was. Petros truly is an expert at what he does and is well-respected in these cities. When we were nervous about traveling amidst the travel warning to Turkey, he reassured us and let us know he would take care of us no matter what... and he did (nor did we need it, as it was totally safe). During the chaos of wedding planning, my now husband and I decided it was an important to us to have an unforgettable honeymoon at which we could at last escape and relax immediately following our wedding. Greece came up as a "dream destination" and we started researching and found Hellenic had high reviews on this site. Given that we were devoting all of our time to wedding preparations, we decided to give Petros a call (we're based in Chicago and hes in NYC) to see if a travel agent could help us. After one conversation with him, he put our minds at ease so quickly. It was one of the easiest and best decisions we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. He arranged everything for us - from coordinating the flights to the ferries to the excursions to the beautiful resorts we stayed in. When we were debating between which islands to best spend our time, he gave us a personality pop quiz that helped us narrow them down. When we read on here that everyone wished they had an extra day in Santorini and requested that update within a few months of the trip, he happily accommodated. Five stars all around. Petros was amazing. I'm a Type A planner and felt totally at ease that he had things handled both before the trip and while we were abroad. The Greek people were so warm and welcoming. Petros' restaurant and resort suggestions were spot on. I'm confident we couldn't have booked a better trip after researching for months. It's clear that he visits often, has a great repertoire with local business owners, and truly knows where the crowd pleasers lie. He continually surprised us with Parthenon views from our hotel room, strawberries and champagne, rose petals, first-class ferry tickets, room upgrades, and the list goes on. We're already planning our anniversary trip - thank you, Hellenic!

My husband and I had always wanted to visit Greece and we saw our honeymoon as the perfect opportunity to do so. It was a bit difficult trying to put something together on our own with all of the wedding planning and long work hours. Petros really takes all of the guess work out of absolutely everything. On our first meeting he asked us how we envisioned our honeymoon and how we would like to spend our time there. After informing him that we wanted to get a true cultural experience while still being able to have some personal time he proceeded to make recommendations on where to go and stay. The next day he sent us a draft of our itinerary, hotels to stay, restaurants to visit and sites to see. It was just the right mix of relaxing down time while still having the time to visit the sites in Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. All of our transfers were prearranged, our inter-island travels went smoothly and the hotels were absolutely stunning. He even went as far as making sure we knew the cultural etiquette, how much to tip, what situations to avoid, and what to expect while there. We definitely enjoyed our 12 day/10 night stay in Greece and highly recommend Petros to anyone looking to make a trip to Greece, whether it be a honeymoon or just a family trip. Hellenic Holidays helped my husband and I to plan the most perfect honeymoon to a place that niether of had been to before. Using one of their arranged packages, Petros worked with us to alter the trip to meet our particular needs. We spent two days in Athens spending half of one of the days on a guided tour that was arranged for us by Hellenic Holidays. After that it was off to the islands! We had originally planned to go to Mykonos and Santorini, however, after having a discussion with Petros he suggested that we might enjoy Naxos more than Mykonos and we could not be more pleased with that suggestion and having gone there! We spent a few wonderful days exploring the beaches of Naxos before going to Santorini which is perhaps the most spectacular place we have ever been. The sunset sail in Santorini, which was booked by Hellenic Holidays was amazing and a definite highlight of our honeymoon. Hellenic Holidays was incredibly organized, booking all of our internal travel arrangements as well as arranging for transfers to and from each hotel. Before leaving for Greece, my husband and I met with Petros to go over all of the details of our trip and during that meeting he also gave us very useful information for our trip. He also provided us with a detailed itinerary for our entire trip, outlining the planned activities or travel plans for each day and for days that nothing was planned, made wonderful suggestions as to possible ways to spend that time. Petros also suggested wonderful restaurants for each place we visited and we happily tried all of his suggestions and were not disappointed at all! Hellenic Holidays took all of the hassle out of planning a trip that goes to multiple locations, making sure that everything runs smoothly. Petros is incredibly knowledgeable about Greece and it was a pleasure working with him to plan our honeymoon. We cannot thank Petros enough for planning a honeymoon we will truly remember forever.

Words can not describe the amazing honeymoon experience that Petros at Hellenic Holiday provided my husband and I. From the moment I contacted him until the honeymoon was over he was nothing but helpful. He sits down w/ you to discuss your interests to see what islands and type of trip would be best for you and your partner. My trip to Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini was equal parts of historic sightseeing, night life and partying, and romantic. All 3 of these places had anything you want to do. Petros went over in detail what we can do in each place and recommended places for us to try which were all outstanding. He is known everywhere you go in Greece and you are treated like royalty because of him. The trip was a dream come true. My husband and I could not find fault with the trip if we wanted to. Planning a wedding takes so much time you might forget about putting the same time into planning your honeymoon! After the weddings over it's one thing you have to look forward too and you want to do it right! You won't get another one!! Petros was the most organized, caring, informative and amazing person to work with! We got married on June 22 in Massachusetts and then travelled to Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini from June 26- July 7th! We used Petros at Hellenic Holidays for our Honeymoon to Greece and we are so glad we did. Petros is so thorough on planning your perfect trip. We traveled in April so it was a little more difficult in planning for us because Greek Easter was late this year, but Petros did everything to make sure we were well taken care of. He knows which hotels are the best in each island and he also gets you a great room. On our trip we went to Athens, Santorini, and Mykonos. Santorini was our favorite. The Astra Hotel was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in!

I highly recommend using Hellenic Holiday if you are planning a honeymoon or any trip to Greece.

Petros is great!! We had the best honeymoon ever! We stayed in Athens, and our hotel was right in the city in the middle of everything we wanted to see. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Petros planned a day trip to see the Acropolys and other historical sites and it was exactly what we would have booked on our own! We also stayed in Santorini, where our hotel was carved into the side of the island. Santorini, was like something out of a book. It was absolutely breath taking. Petros also set us up on a sailing trip while in Santorini, and we had a great time! The company we went with was very friendly and knowledgable. We got to swim in the hot sulfur springs and go snorkeling. Once again, it was exactly what we would have wanted to book if we were setting things up on our own!! Petros was also very flexible, we had to add an extra night in Athens to make things work with our airfare--no problem! We booked out own flights also because we used FF Miles, and Petros was very accomidating making sure whenever our flights landed there was a driver ready and waiting! We ended up getting stuck over seas for 2 extra days due to Hurricane Sandy, and even though Petros did not set up our airfare he still called and checked in and tried to help us find a was back to the US. Hellenic Holidays made our honeymoon relaxing and perfect, we did not have to worry about a single thing!

My fiancé and I recently returned from a honeymoon to Mykonos, Santorni, and Athens and we can’t say enough good things about Hellenic Holidays and Petros Zissimos. Instead of spending countless hours researching the Greek Islands, we had one fun meeting with Petros where we talked about what we wanted in a honeymoon. In our second meeting, Petros presented us with a custom itinerary that met our honeymoon dreams, yet was within our budget. From the moment we touched down in Greece until we got back on the plane at the end of the trip everything was completely taken care of. We stayed in world-class hotels with gorgeous rooms, impeccable service, and excellent food that Petros hand-selected for us. We were constantly surprised by all of the automatic upgrades he negotiated for us –between fruit baskets, bottles of wine and champagne, and specialty chocolates, we never knew what would await us each time we returned to our hotel room. Between the hotels, car services, and sunset sail he booked, we experienced the A-list treatment! His restaurant recommendations were exceptional with each meal seeming better than the last. Petros provided a detailed itinerary each day with great suggestions of what to do with plenty of rest and relaxation built in as well. We are so thankful to him for single-handedly creating a honeymoon that was better than we could have imagined and that fit into our budget thanks to his miracle working! Thank you Petros!

Petros did an amazing job scheduling and managing our honeymoon vacation. He was able to create a custom trip just for us that included all of the destinations we wanted to see – Istanbul, Crete, Santorini, Mykonos, and Athens.

Some of the highlights included:
• Private walking tour of Istanbul – Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Hagia Sophia, Roman Cisterns, and the Grand Bazaar.
• Amazing Turkish food! Lentil soup, Turkish tea, kabobs… (great restaurants recommended by Petros!)
• Driving the windy roads of Crete to beautiful Falassarna Beach on the western coast
• An afternoon cruise around Santorini, including snorkeling and swimming, capped off with an amazing dinner on the boat as we watched the sunset
• A private wine tasting of local Santorini wines
• Relaxing on our private beach in Mykonos and enjoying the crystal clear warm water

All of our transportation between the destinations was included in our package, and it was well-documented for us prior to leaving (including a call with Petros to review the detailed itinerary), so we had no difficultly getting from once place to another and could instead spend time enjoying our trip.

Petros also picked out perfect hotels for us at all of the locations – from the Andronis Suites in Santorini with our own private balcony tub and a view of the caldera, to the elegance of the Mykonos Grand Hotel with its own private beach. At each hotel we were greeted by friendly staff who were eager to make our stay memorable. The location of each hotel was also ideal for exploring the area and accessing nearby points of interest.
After returning home and looking at our photos, it was hard to imagine that we had just gone on such an amazing trip! I would strongly recommend Petros to anyone who is interested in visiting Greece and/or Turkey, whether for your honeymoon or just an awesome vacation. I hope we have the opportunity to work with Petros on a future trip.

I cannot give enough praise to Petros Zissimos at Hellenic Holidays for everything that he did to make our honeymoon SO amazing. The process of setting everything up was very easy. We met with Petros a few weeks prior to our departure to go over the details of the trip. He gave us an itinerary for our trip that gave us options for things to do and restaurants at which to eat in each location. He was able to answer every single one of our question because he is so familiar with the company and the properties that he is booking. We were completely prepared for our trip.Once we were in Greece, we felt very comfortable that if there were any hiccups, we could count on Petros to get everything sorted out. Boy were we right! Our first hiccup occurred on our second day of the honeymoon when we were in Athens. We were schedule to go on a sightseeing tour in Athens; however, there was a protest that day, and we were unable to go. Petros found a way to contact us that morning to ensure that everything was okay and we had made it to the airport safely. When we spoke to him, it was 5 AM New York time! This was evidence to us that Petros does everything in his power to make sure that everything goes smoothly. He assured us that he would get us a refund and send us a check in the mail once we returned home.The rest of the trip was completely amazing. Every single restaurant and spot that Petro recommended was absolutely amazing. We spent 12 days in total in Athens, Mykonos, Naxos, and Santorini. My husband and I were married on May 4, 2012 in Austin Texas. For our honeymoon, we decided we wanted to travel to Greece. After spending significant time browsing the web to get information about traveling to Greece, we decided we wanted the help of someone much more experienced than we were. I sent a general e-mail to Hellenic Holidays in October 2011, requesting information about their company. I received a response from Petros within a few hours of sending the e-mail. From the initial contact by Petros, I felt comfortable and knew I didn’t want to work with anyone else for our honeymoon. Petros was so knowledgeable and friendly, he made both my husband and I feel like our trip was the only one he was going to be working on. From the moment we first spoke to Petros and Hellenic Holidays, we knew our honeymoon was going to be different. We weren’t just going to have someone send us a packet of options that really handcuffed us into what they were comfortable providing, but we were going to get a well thought out blue print of what we truly wanted. He was never pushy or combative and you really go the sense that your happiness means the world to him. To be honest, we enjoyed speaking with him so much that we actually made up reasons to call him!

As any newlyweds or soon to be newlyweds know, there is so much detail and planning that goes into your wedding that it is virtually impossible to take on another major project, such as planning a honeymoon. We can assure you that every detail was taken care of on our behalf by Petros. The trip itinerary and blue print were spot on with every part of the trip running smoothly and on time. We had built such a trust over the phone with Petros that we just used the packet he sent us before our departure as our guidelines and we could not have been happier. We traveled by plane, cab, ferry and other varieties of automobile over a nearly two-week period. We were never made to wait, we never felt abandoned and we never got the uncomfortable sense that we weren’t where we were supposed to be. Our comfort level with our Hellenic Holiday grew every day.

If you want to honeymoon in Greece, you HAVE to book through Hellenic Holidays! Petros Zissimos is an exceptional travel agent. My husband and I just returned from a two week honeymoon in Greece and we couldn’t have wished for a better vacation. Hellenic Holidays took care of our entire trip and planned everything to perfection, from hotels and transfers to tours and spa appointments. Petros is always one step ahead of the game and if anything goes wrong, he is right there to help, or he has already fixed the problem before you are even aware. We felt so at ease traveling from island to island and back to Athens because Petros took care of absolutely everything. We plan to travel to other Greek Islands and Turkey in the future, and I’m certain we will book through Hellenic Holidays. Petros is the best of the best, hands down.

I would highly recommend Hellenic Holidays to any couple looking to go to Greece for their Honeymoon. Petros is very knowledgeable of the country as well as traveling there from the US. He was very attentive during our calls and when I finally meet with him he had put together a blueprint that was perfect based on our conversations.

Our honeymoon was absolutely perfect. The hotels that Petros suggested were amazing, the restaurants were delicious and the excursions were fun and informational. When arriving to the hotels we were greeted as Mr. and Mrs! Everyone knew that we were on our honeymoon and treated us exceptionally well, down to the private transfers (2 thumbs up for that).

We stayed in the heart of Athens near the Arcopolis. The hotel was very accessible to all of the archeological sites. We were able to walk around by foot. The restaurant that Petros suggested for dinner was remarkable, the food was so delicious.

Our suite in Mykonos was beautiful, we could watch the sunset from our balacony, and the spa there was excellent. The hubby said that’s the best massage he has ever gotten in his life. We lied by the pool during the day. And hit little Venice to party at night (after a romantic dinner of course).

In Santorini we meet 2 couples who had also used Petros for their honeymoon. They were also impressed with his service and knowledge of Greece. Our hotel in Oia was perfect. Its was a slice of paradise. Breathtaking views accompanied with delicious food. The tours that Petros recommended (wine tour and sunset cruise) were the highlights of our trip.

Anyone going to Greece should call Petros immediately!

Being in the weddings industry myself, the bar was set pretty high for me during this amazing time in my life. Throw being an extreme perfectionist and working for a 5-star boutique brand of hotels, and my expectations were through the roof! The honeymoon was no exception… My husband and I knew that we wanted to go to the Greek Isles, as neither of us had been before and it has always just screamed pure romance to me! I also knew, however, that I did not want to have to put a lot of effort into the actual planning of the honeymoon, being that I was so heavily involved with the details of our wedding! Enter Petros (Peter) Zissimos of Hellenic Holidays. From the moment we had our first call with Peter, I knew it would be a match made in heaven! His passion for the country and to ensure that his clients make memories that will last a lifetime are the two things that truly won us over. The detailed itinerary that Peter provided us with was a God-send during our honeymoon travels! There were suggestions of fun things to do and great restaurants to enjoy along the way, along with one activity pre-planned in each destination, which allowed us to truly explore the islands at our own pace. Peter kept in touch (via text) throughout the trip to ensure that we were being well taken care of and to let us know that he was there if we needed anything. It was that attention to detail that made us feel like we were VVIP’s, and I truly think that’s how every honeymoon couple should feel during such a special time! There were surprises along the way, and whenever we mentioned Hellenic Holidays to the locals, you could tell that they hold the travel company at such a high level. It was ALL of this that made our dream honeymoon unforgettable, making us long for our 10 year anniversary to get here so we can return (or maybe our 5 year )! By far the best decision we made to use Peter with Hellenic for our Honeymoon! He made everything so easy for us! We didn't have to plan a thing! He told us exactly what was planned and what we needed to know! We had one issue and once I told him he took care of it ASAP! Greece was absolutely amazing and highly recommended for Honeymooners through Hellenic Holidays!!!! Such an amazing experience throughout!! Thanks again Peter!! We can't wait to go back!!!!

If you are interested in Greece, Petros is the man to plan your trip. Not only will he plan a unique vacation that is right for YOU, but he will follow through, monitoring your travels as you relax, predicting any potential problems and correcting them before you even knew they existed, and meeting with you upon your return to welcome you home and hear your thoughts about the trip. He has wonderful recommendations, reliable local contacts, and has an uncanny ability to identify what you do and don't like, and hook you up! Petros is flexible, willing and able to work within your budget without skimping on the important stuff. We met with Peter knowing we wanted to go to Greece, but not sure of any further details. He was extremely knowledgeable and flexible with our interests and opinions. We felt completely comfortable and in communication while abroad - transfers, hotels, etc. were spot on and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Amazing Honeymoon that we will always remember!!

Petros planned the most fabulous, authenic, luxurious honeymoon in Greece. It was beyond our expectations!
