  Best bridal bouquet ever!

  I gave Karen very little direction when contracting Hedge Fine Blooms to make my bridal bouquet for my elopement. At her request, I sent some photos of bouquets I kind of liked and she did the rest. My bouquet was a work of art, so beautiful and colorful and it stayed that way all day. It was truly one of my favorite things about my wedding (and I wouldn't have predicted that ahead of time). My husband also loved his boutonniere. I highly recommend Hedge (and Karen) for all of our wedding flower needs!

  Great florist!

  Hedge Fine Blooms did a fantastic job providing the flowers for my wedding, including my bouquet, bridesmaid’s bouquets, petals for the flower girl, and a boutonniere for my husband. The lady I worked with - Karen - was very knowledgeable about types of flowers in season and provided excellent recommendations on colors, bouquet sizes, and types of flowers based on the ideas I had and what we were all wearing! She was also able to work with me to get a flower that was out of season but I really wanted in my bouquet. I got multiple compliments on the flowers throughout the wedding!

  Hedge Fine Blooms was so easy to work with from start to end. They provided clear information on cost and had good communication throughout the process. I primarily worked with Catherine who I could tell from our first meeting that I could trust and rely on her expertise to create floral arrangements that aligned with my vision. She certainty delivered as the flower arrangements were beautiful! Hedge Fine Blooms was one of the easiest vendors I worked with for my wedding and as others have mentioned, made it a stress-free experience. I would highly recommend Catherine and the rest of Hedge Fine Blooms for any event!

  One Less Thing to Stress About!

  I often hear other brides stress about flowers. Thankfully for us, Hedge Fine Blooms (Catherine) was the perfect choice for us and made our lives that much simpler and less stressful! We were able to easily agree on price, floral arrangements, and centerpieces. Catherine was wonderful to work with and being the floral expert, knew how to piece together my random thoughts and ideas, and created perfect arrangements that worked for our budget- which was a little tight. I left our initial call/conversation knowing that we were in great hands and never worried about the floral pieces for the wedding. Absolutely 100% recommend Hedge Fine Blooms!

  Wonderful!

  Working with Hedge Fine Blooms was a great, stress-free experience. I didn't have specific flowers in mind, I just knew I wanted a wildflower vibe. I sent in photos and talked to Lesleigh and she immediately knew what I was after and took on the job with confidence. The flowers came out perfect and everyone at the wedding loved them! They pulled the palette of our wedding together beautifully.

  Gorgeous Winter Wedding Flowers!

  Catherine over at Hedge Fine Blooms blew us away and and was so accommodating during such a crazy year for our 2020 wedding. We were on the fence about doing our own flowers, but ultimately decided that it was worth having professionals take care of it - and how grateful we are! Catherine made my visions for our small, elegant event come to life, including a breathtaking selection for our wedding cake. Even when our table arrangements changed to be more socially-distant, she adapted the design on the spot and provided gorgeous candles and vases. We re-used our ceremony flowers for the centerpieces at her suggestion based on our budget, which we really appreciated. I highly recommend Hedge Fine Blooms for Virginia brides!

  Flowers of my dreams!!

  I love flowers...but I don't know anything about them. Seriously I can't name more than maybe 5 different types. I went to Hedge with very vague ideas about colors that I liked (and didn't like). I showed Catherine just a few photos but otherwise simply talked out loud about what I envisioned. I trusted them to do the rest and use their expertise to make it beautiful, and boy did they deliver. We weren't quite sure what we would have available given fires out west and flooding locally, but somehow Catherine and her team at Hedge provided me with a bouquet and floral arrangements more gorgeous than anything I'd ever seen. I can't wait for more wedding photos to be released JUST so I can re-remember the amazing greenery and centerpieces.

  Wynne and team did SUCH an amazing job with our wedding flowers! Wynne took that I was imagining and created something so beautiful beyond what I expected. She was incredibly flexible and even worked to provide a range of options to make sure everything was within my budget.

Later on, we worked closely with the owner, Karen, and she was also a great pleasure - she was incredibly flexible with us and did an outstanding job making sure we got what we wanted. Every single detail for our day was curated perfectly. All floral pieces survived extreme heat AND rain, and ultimately, were so so stunning (I am still getting compliments about my bouquet)! Thanks, Hedge!!

  I am incredibly particular and we planned our wedding for more than a year and a half, and I cannot rave enough about Catherine at Hedge and the whole team who helped make our day so perfect. I initially had reached out to several other florists in the area who all quoted astronomical pricing to decorate the arch for our ceremony. Hedge was extremely flexible and came up with a way to make it affordable yet still gorgeous and perfect, and I wished I had gone to them first. I had such a specific vision for our wedding flowers, and Hedge completely NAILED IT. I mean it was even better than what I had imagined. We had five flower girls, and Hedge created beautiful flower crowns for them, as well as a gorgeous flower comb for my hair, which was exactly what I had envisioned. They were absolutely wonderful and easy to work with, and I cannot recommend Hedge enough for floral needs! If we lived in Charlottesville, Hedge would easily be my go-to florist. :)

Hedge worked to coordinate floral design for our rehearsal dinner, then for the wedding, and they truly made our dream vision come true. Karen and her team worked to create the most beautiful floral ladder they hung above our head table, and ceremony urns at the alter that were exceptional. The HFB team was incredibly responsive, very patient, and worked with me to turn our dream vision into a reality. Thank you to the Hedge team for creating the most beautiful space for our wedding!

  Hedge was wonderful to work with! Tasha did an amazing job asking me questions/helping me find my flower style. She had lots of ideas to make my flowers unique and they turned out beautifully on my wedding day. Tasha truly made me feel special and like she was only working with me. I wanted to use leis during the wedding- they were very open that they do not normally make leis (they would be very expensive) and allowed me to ship online leis to their store and delivered them with the rest of my flowers. Great vendor!

  My daughter began the planning and was really going for a budget wedding. Hedge was wonderful about adding items two weeks out when I got concerned that we really didn't have enough flowers to decorate the event space. As mother of the bride I really felt the flowers were spectacular and just what my daughter envisioned. Hedge was great because when i added boxwood garlands and more flowers they jumped right in and everything went together as though it was planned months in advance.

  Karen was a delight to work with. We told her our centerpieces would be lanterns. We presented her with 16 lanterns all different shapes and sizes and colors. Not a problem for Hedge. Every table looked gorgeous yet there was a common theme and elegance throughout the Ballroom. She listened to the Bride and delivered everything just as promised.
  Hedge was definitely a pleasure to work with. We followed her suggestions and ideas and we could not have asked for more.
  They helped make our daughter's day as beautiful as she had imagined.

  Karen Walker at Hedge Fine Blooms is creative, responsive and works really hard to make your vision come to life. I had met with several florists that didn't seem to "get" my vision, or understand our budget, but Karen was passionate, quick and understanding from the very first time we met. We worked together very well to come up with the perfect arrangements, bouts, bouquets and aisle decor that really showcased my style as well as her love of flowers. We received an enormous amount of compliments from our guests, and I was stunned when I walked into the reception and saw how gorgeous everything looked. Even when we were having some trouble sourcing the lavender hydrangeas I'd requested, Karen worked on it until she found them and kept me informed along the way. Working with Hedge was a fabulous experience!

  Tasha Tobin, Creative Director at Hedge Fine Blooms was a blast to work with. She was able to extract (from my nondescript depiction) what I wanted (due to my lack of creativity) and still cater to my want for something gorgeous!) :) and transform it into the most beautiful day. She was so fun and easy to work with (and I think we were rather difficult customers) and she met the requests of all parties involved (which can be tough to do when planning a wedding!). She built our wedding chuppah, built hanging gardens in our tent, did all of the centerpieces - the whole nine yards! It was stunning and I'm thankful for the experience and guidance she brought!

I had a fall wedding and really wanted gorgeous deep fall colors, and I was floored when I saw what amazing arrangement they created! The bouquets and centerpieces were more perfect than I could have hoped for or envisioned. What really sets them apart is how easy they are to work with and how responsive they are to customer needs (we kept changing how many grandparents flowers we needed and it was always so easy). I also chose them for my small wedding because unlike a lot of bigger shops they had no minimum, which was perfect for us and we got better quality than ever hoped for! When I stopped in the day before our wedding, the owner even came out to talk to us about our experience, which really shows you how professional, detail oriented, and caring they are.   I was very glad when our wedding planner first recommended we partner with Hedge Fine Blooms for flowers because Hedge has been my favorite florist for years.
  
  But this experience took my impression of Hedge to a whole 'nother level! Tasha, their floral designer, met our traditional (Bouquet! Boutonniere! Tabletops!) and unusual (Garlands for the bride! The groom! The horse! The puppy!) requests and kept us within budget.
  
  But what truly stood out was that Tasha "got" what we were going for: a reception that was elegant yet warm and inviting --- never fussy in its formality nor casual in its comfort. Both the tablescapes and the barn's suspended wagon wheel, which she wreathed in greenery, were spot-on.
  
  And that bridal bouquet --- oh my word it was gorgeousness perfected. Again, it was amazing to me that Tasha understood what I meant when I talked about wildflowers but also 16th-century Dutch oil paintings. I loved that bouquet hard.
