Fantastic wedding string trio

Boris and team did a fantastic job performing during my ceremony. They are very easy to work with during the planning phase and were professional and polished on the big day. They were able to accommodate my preferred repertoire for my walk down the aisle.

Harmonia Strings was extremely easy and professional to work with. When we asked if they could play a song that wasn't in their repertoire they were able to get the music and learn it without a problem. They performed during our hospitality hour, ceremony, and cocktail hour. They followed the ceremony outline we provided perfectly and without flaw. We couldn't recommend them more!!

We had the fortune of being able to have Djeina and Harmonia strings provide music for our recent wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Djeina was truly a pleasure to deal with prior to the wedding date and a consummate professional: all emails returned within quickly, fair contract, etc. They have a huge variety of music to choose from, ranging from takes on pop/tv/music music to classical. They absolutely knocked it out of the park with their performance. Most of the guests when we greeted them at the reception commented on how great they were. I cannot recommend this group enough!

Djeina and Harmonia Strings were an excellent pick! They worked with us to learn three songs and played perfectly. We got rave reviews of their rendition of the Game of Thrones theme, and our guests also loved the modern instrumental versions of songs they played during cocktail hour. On top of that, we had a mix up with ceremony timing that was completely our fault, and they worked through it flawlessly. Would highly recommend them!

We used Harmonia Strings for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour at Pellegrini this spring and would highly recommend them. They were incredibly professional, easy to work with, very reasonably priced and by far our most low maintenance vendor relationship – they showed up on time, played exactly what we were hoping and even moved locations from ceremony to cocktail hour with no fuss.. Their website has great music samples including Disney and pop music which was a hug crowd pleaser during cocktail hour. We had many, many compliments and would use Harmonia again in a heartbeat.

Harmonia Strings is amazing. They played at my wedding for the ceremony and cocktail hour. I communicated with them mainly over email prior to the wedding and let them know the exact songs I wanted played at the wedding and they followed my directions to a 'T'. Everyone at the wedding loved the pop music set to a string quartet- they were a big hit! Very reasonably priced, easy to work with, and great follow through. Def. recommend them!

I'll cut to the summary: 1- Your wedding will not be complete without this group. 2- Not only are they very very professional but they were amazing. 3- Their mix of music will appeal to all diverse music tastes. Harmonia Strings was amazing! Very easy to work with and I did not need to worry about a thing. I had changed my recessional music to a song they haven't played and they were able to quickly get the sheet music and it came out beautifully. Emails were responded to almost immediately and overall I would recommend Harmonia Strings for any event!

Harmonia Strings and Djeina were AMAZING! They did both my brother's and my wedding, and I would recommend them in a heart beat to anyone looking for ceremony and/or cocktail musicians. They were so easy to work with, prompt, and amazing musicians. Apparently there was an issue with the piano we were using for our cocktail hour - Djeina came up to me apologizing and letting me know that everything was fixed before I even knew there was a problem. She was extremely professional and gracious. It was a pleasure working with them!

I used the string trio for my ceremony and cocktail hour and it was beautiful! They sounded so elegant and my guests raved about how great they were! Djeina is a pleasure to work with and so accommodating to any requests you have! She replied quickly to any questions I had during my wedding planning! Djeina was wonderful to work with from an initial quote to the services provided on the day of my wedding. I loved the special touch that the string quartet added to my wedding ceremony in a catholic church, especially as I walked down the aisle. Harmonia Strings were prompt and professional, I didn't have to think about a thing the day of the wedding. They provided great song ideas and I love that there website allows you to listen to them playing a variety of songs in advance. I would recommend them for any special event that you are planning.

We had a quartet play at our ceremony in Central Park and our reception venue and it added a beautfiul touch to our wedding day. They were professional and sounded great in both an outdoor and indoor setting and I would highly recommend them for your wedding day. Their musicians will make your day extra special.

Harmonia was spectacular to work with. Djeina was very easy to work with -- very responsive to our questions/concerns and extremely friendly. We used them for both the wedding ceremony and the one hour cocktail party (mix of pop songs and classical music), and they sounded fantastic.

Harmonia Strings was the only vendor for our wedding that we never met in person before-hand. I was not worried though, as I had done my research (reading tons of reviews) and it was actually nice not to have to schedule another meeting to fit into our busy work schedules. Djeina was always at the ready to answer any questions I had and always responded back to my emails quickly, even agreeing to play a song not listed on their website as my processional song. Our wedding was magical - their music fit perfectly into our venue & ceremony site. I practically started to cry once I heard the song I was to walk down the aisle to before I even stated making my way down to meet my husband (and I was a bit far down from the ceremony and still heard the music with no problem). While I wasn't at cocktail hour much (taking photos with family and then having a private moment [eating the food they were passing around in the bridal suit] with my new husband) everyone said they loved the music. Thank you Harmonia Strings for helping to make our wedding day so magical!

Harmonia Strings turned an ordinary ceremony into a fairy tale. Every guest at the wedding commented on the incredible talent the musicians had and what a beautiful atmosphere they created.

With a great repertoire to start with, I was very happy with the song choices but wanted to add a little personal touch. They allowed me to pick 2 songs that they would learn and they played them flawlessly. I would recommend them to anyone,

Harmonia Strings was an absolute pleasure to work with! They provided the music for the ceremony and cocktail hour at my April 2013 wedding on the North Fork of Long Island - even with the travel fee, their rate was reasonable, and we could not have asked for better musicians. They performed non-traditional music for us, by our request, (a lot of Journey, very similar to the Vitamin String Quartet) with a trio of musicians and we could not have been happier. They were on time, extremely professional, and sounded amazing. We received so many compliments from our guests. Communication was easy as could be, and everything we requested was met with an absolutely, no problem! Loved working with them, and only hope that I can employ them again for future events!

I hired Harmonia Strings to play at my wedding for the cocktail hour and ceremony. I had a string trio plus a flute. They played absolutely beautifully, and I even got compliments from my guests on how nice their music was.
They were easy to work with, professional, and responsive. I would definitely recommend them!

Harmonia Strings performed at my October 6th wedding on the beach. They helped to create the most beautiful, romantic atmosphere I could have asked for. Harmonia Strings were very professional. I worked with DJ and she was always very prompt in her emails. The team played all the songs very nicely as requested and all our guests were complimenting on how wonderful they were.

As the bride, the irony is I spent oodles of money hiring the quartet - and only heard the processional and recessional. Even though they played my favorite songs. Tear - I look forward to hearing them on our videos.

Harmonia was able to learn whatever songs we wanted and execute them according to our instructions. I really appreciated this because I had a special song that I heard on youtube that I wanted to walk down the aisle to. They played it at the same tempo with the same expression. They also followed our instructions exactly for the hymn that we requested the play.

Djeina was very responsive through email. She always got back to me within a few hours at almost any hour of the day.

Harmonia Strings provided the ceremony music for my June 2, 2012 wedding at the Grand Cascades Lodge at Crystal Springs in Hamburg, NJ. Djeina was wonderful to work with. She was extremely responsive to email (the best contact method for me); agreed to perform a new song for my walk down the aisle, which required her hunting down the sheet music; and arrived early to my ceremony to rehearse with the vocalist they would be accompanying. I also found that Harmonia Strings was an excellent value, in comparison to other quotes I received. I highly recommend them for your own ceremony!

Harmonia was very easy to do business with. We contracted a year out and thought we knew exactly what we wanted to do for the music but wound up making changes right until the week prior. Despite our last minute changes they NEVER made us feel like we were imposing. Instead, they did their best to accommodate and delivered a really impressive performance. They performed a customized ceremony program for us and then played a mix of classical and disney songs for the cocktail hour - we didn't want them to stop! We want to throw another party just to have an excuse to hire them again.

Harmonia Strings performed at our home wedding in Park Slope. They were wonderful in every way, a 5 out of 5 in every category. We had very specific requests and a specific program of music for the ceremony and every request was met. The music performance during the ceremony was perfectly coordinated with the presider and our vows.

I highly recommend Harmonia Strings in every way.

If you are redaing this and trying to decide who to hire - look no further! I can't even begin to say how happy I was that I chose Harmonia Strings!
Being musicians ourselves, I wanted to surprise my fiance by having live music for the ceremony. As most people are, we were on a pretty tight budget and had planned on using recorded music. Though it was beautiful, I knew it just wouldn't be perfect. When I found Harmonia Strings and saw that they already had our processional music in their portfolio I decided to email Djeina to see if they could also add our unity candle music. Together, we found a beautiful arrangement. When Djeina went above and beyond to make that happen I knew I had made the right choice.
In order to keep the surprise they had no rehearsal and were still able to fit seamlessly into our ceremony. The surprise was a huge hit with my fiance, family, and guests.
They play beautifully, are true professionals, and are so easy to work with! Seriously, hire them, you will not be disappointed!

We hired a Harmonia Strings duet for our ceremony and cocktail hour after hearing them at a friend's wedding. They sounded great at our friend's wedding, and people seemed to really enjoy hearing modern songs played on string instruments. For our own wedding, we took pictures during the cocktail hour, so we didn't really get to hear them play. All of our family and friends said they were wonderful, though. Harmonia Strings played last weekend at my daughters wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. They were wonderful, and made our wedding so special. The two main themes I'd like to stress about Harmonia are quality and Flexibility. THe music they performed at our ceremony added an element and excitement that would have been sorely missed and they sounded beautiful. So many of our guests commented on how wonderful it was. When we ran over our scheduled time, they played through and didn't make a big deal about it, simply emailing us about it after. This was wonderful as it took the stress and business out of the day. I can't say enough about how glad we were we went with music and more specifically with Harmonia.

Harmonia Strings played at my ceremony and cocktail hour on Sunday afternoon, August 14th. In a word, they were AMAZING. Despite the inclement weather, and the distance traveled, they showed up early, and ready to play. The ceremony was indoors, and they gladly played in a cramped (but dry) space. They easily moved outdoors for the cocktail hour (under an overhang). At all times, they were extremely professional, and they played all our requests.
Our guests commented on how amazing they were. Harmonia Strings really made our wedding so special. I wish they could have stayed longer, but they had to leave for another wedding elsewhere.

Absolutely wonderful! We decided to go slightly off the traditional wedding music route with our selections and Harmonia Strings had everything we wanted and made our ceremony that much more special! We had a violin and guitar duo as I love violin and my husband loves acoustic guitar. We chose Moon River for the bridal processional and it had everyone in tears, myself and father included. We also chose Come Rain or Come Shine for our unity candle lighting and Here Comes the Sun for our recessional. EVERYONE commented on how beautiful and personalized our ceremony was and that due in part to the gorgeous music. They are true professionals and artists and you won't need to worry about your ceremony music even for a second if you book them! Highly recommended!

Harmonia Strings played for our son's wedding on Saturday , 6/11/11. They were incredible and provided beautiful music at a fair cost. Harmonia was amazing.

They played my ceremony and cocktail hour. For the bridal procession, they learned and arranged a tune I requested using only a youtube video I sent them. It sounded fabulous. Djeina was also very helpful with suggestions for other music for the ceremony, all of which was played wonderfully.

As for the pre-ceremony seating music and music for cocktail hour, I basically left it in Djeina's hands and it turned out great.

We had no professional coordinators nor any venue managers to help out, so I, the groom, was in charge of a lot of things, including the music. Harmonia had great attitudes and were a pleasure to work with. They showed up with plenty of time to prepare and were very patient with the hectic scene around them. We had a small venue and so we had to arrange things just right. They were a great help in terms of arranging their instruments and equipment without needing my input on all the details, allowing me to attend to my guests and enjoy the day.

I think our wedding may have been considered a somewhat challenging event for a string group, but Harmonia pulled it off wonderfully!

Harmonia Strings performed at my ceremony and cocktail hour. The guests at my wedding commented to me that they forgot there was a live quartet playing at the cocktail hour because the music sounded so amazing and professional. Their performance was perfect and sounded beautiful. The ceremony was outside and they were perfectly fine with that. In addition, the guests loved the variety of music that was played. I would definitely recommend them to others.

We were very pleased with Harmonia Strings, and would definitely recommend them! We had some last minute song changes, and they were flexible and did an amazing job! I must say that Harmonia Strings was certainly the easiest vendor to work with by far. I booked them at the last minute and our only communication was by email ( I am not suggesting that you do this by any measure). They were on-time and when I was finally ready to walk down the aisle, their music was what almost brought me to tears.

Great to work with! Quick to answer any questions that I had and very easy to work with. Played the music that I had requested and was honest with their feedback regarding the music selection I was interested in. They gave their professional opinion on which songs would sound better played on string instruments. Since I gave them more than one song selection, they picked the one's that sounded the best. They played beautifully during our wedding ceremony and we received comments from our guests on how wonderful the music was!

My now husband and I chose Harmonia Strings after reading great reviews and listening to their wonderful samples. They played the type of music we were looking for in the ceremony and cocktail hour, which included both traditional and contemporary (most especially Disney!) music. But what really set them apart was the pricing, which I found to be very competitive.

I worked with Djeina primarily via email (don't think we ever spoke on the phone) and she answered all of my questions promptly and thoroughly. I found the process very easy and she put me at ease leading up to the big day. On the big day, the string trio musicians arrived on time, dressed professionally and ready to go. Though I didn't hear much as I was in the bridal suite, my husband said they were pretty AMAZING!

Unfortunately, I have to deduct 1 star for Quality of Service b/c they played the incorrect Bridal Entrance song. I originally selected Claire de Lune for my entrance but changed my mind a few days later to Prince of Denmark March in D Major. On the day of, I remember the musicians playing it while guests were filing in, which I thought was strange. I told my planner and she assured me that they must've been practicing. I probably should've trusted my gut then to double check but given the craziness of the moment, I let it go. When it was time for my entrance, they played Claire de Lune and I immediately froze. My planner's assistant ran over to tell them the correct song but they said they didn't have it. Already mortified b/c I was late to enter, I sucked it up and headed out. Fortunately, I stepped out to the beautiful part of Claire de Lune and no one really noticed the big mistake. I reached out to Djeina the next business day and she told me she forgot to update the playlist. The song I thought they were "practicing" to was a different song that was oddly similar. Truthfully, I was bummed to hear that she forgot. As a precaution, I urge you to double check the playlist!

They did a wonderful job for my ceremony music and my cocktail hour. They were wonderful. Some were on their phone during the ceremony texting or surfing the web. It was only 15 mins long. I would definitely recommend them. They did a beautiful job.

We hired Harmonia Strings for our ceremony and cocktail hour. We'd heard a cello/guitar combination at another wedding, and while it's a unique instrument combination, we loved it. Harmonia Strings was happy to honor that request and tailor all our music requests to that instrumentation. Djeina was very quick to respond to every email. They had a nice selection of traditional classical music, and some non-traditional pop and Broadway tunes, which is exactly what we were looking for. They also incorporated arrangements of songs we wanted that were not already in their repertoire. Though I didn't hear much of their performance myself at our wedding (the one down point of being the one getting married!), I was told by everyone that it was beautiful and they did a wonderful job. My dad (who didn't really know what kind of music we'd booked prior to the wedding) was pleasantly surprised and couldn't stop talking about how nice it was.

My only minor comment is that sometimes email correspondence made things a little confusing. I didn't realize up until close to the wedding that if we wanted them to learn additional arrangements of songs they didn't know (more than 3), that it would be an additional charge. I'm pretty sure I'd asked for clarification on that in a previous email, and there was nothing of that nature stated in the contract, so I was surprised to learn of the additional cost. Fortunately, we didn't need them to learn more than 3 new songs, so it was a non-issue... I just would have liked to know a bit more up front.

Overall though, great musicianship and a reasonable cost compared to others.

Djeina - Was easy to work with and provided great service using both modern and classical music.

I walked on Elvis Presley – Can’t help falling in love, my groom and wedding party entered on Bob Dylan/ Adele: To Make you feel my love and the recession was a happy Beatles - All you need is love.

My guests enjoyed the music during the cocktail hour and my 2-yr old nieces loved to dance on theme from Frozen. Would definitely recommend them to other friends.

Great performance! Maybe best to arrange seating for the musicians and parking facilities with local authorities because people like us coming from overseas has no such information to help you.
