If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This wedding venue was the most unbelievable place I have ever been to. My husband and I got married here in January, and to say our wedding day was perfect is an understatement. From the unbelievably beautiful the grounds, to the amazing staff at Haiku, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Chelsea and her team at Haiku Mill went above and beyond to make sure our day went smoothly and perfectly. Even the planning with Chelsea was amazing - I would just need to tell her what I was visioning, and she made sure it came to life, from choosing the vendors for us, pricing everything out for us and being in constant communication (even after giving birth to her son earlier than expected) she made sure that we had everything we needed to ensure a magical day!!
All of our guests could not believe how amazing Haiku was and to this day, still tell us we had the best wedding they have ever been to.
Thank you for such an amazing wedding day or for making all my bridal dreams come true!! -

We got married on April 11th 2019 at Haiku Mill and it exceeded any expectations we had for our wedding day. Tara, our coordinator was an absolute dream to work work.
We planned our whole wedding long distance and Tara was extremely helpful and communicative in planning our special day.
She made the best suggestions with vendors that was helpful to what we had envisioned for our day.
We booked a rehearsal the day before and met with Tara for the first time. She showed and explained extremely clearly how the wedding day will go.
On the day of the wedding, she was present throughout the whole day and was such a great support.
The staff at the Mill were extremely helpful. Not once were we not looked after, from start to end.

Highly recommend
Our expectations were far surpassed with our Coordinator Tara, the venue, and all our vendors. Everything went on without a hitch, or if it didn’t, we had no idea. For this, we are forever grateful as our day was truly magical and felt like a fairytale. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better day then we had. The experience was absolutely priceless. Many of our guests told us that they have never been to as beautiful of a wedding and that we have set the bar extremely high. Their photos on social media do not do this place justice. It is absolutely magical.
Throughout the planning process and day of the wedding, I would find myself thinking, "what is all the fuss about, planning a wedding is stressless." I believe that is all because of our amazing coordinator and their recommended vendors. As the bride, I was able to sit back and enjoy myself the day of the wedding while getting pampered in their beautiful bridal suite. PERFECT. -

Carly Sent on 09/11/2018Haiku Mill is an absolute dream! I booked the wedding ceremony/cocktail package here (3.5 hours) for 30 guests and spent the evening elsewhere closer to the beach. My two ‘must-haves’ on my wedding day were a private and intimate ceremony and to watch the sunset. Both venues ticked those boxes. The Mill was perfect in every way and is simply stunning! I hadn’t seen the venue in person until my dress rehearsal (the day before my wedding) but I’m so glad I hadn’t. It really did blow me away and exceeded my expectations making me even more excited for my big day. Living in London, all communication was via email and a few phone calls nearing the wedding date. We started planning about 12 months in advance. The whole process was easy. Having Tara as my wedding planner took so much stress out arranging a wedding abroad. Being given a small selection of vendors to choose from was perfect for an indecisive bride (who wants hundreds of options anyway), however after doing my own research I realised they only use the best vendors on the island anyway. I felt very relaxed leading up to the wedding and knew everything was under control. Tara never bombarded me with decision making, we took our time choosing our flowers/photographer/cake etc over months of planning. There was no need to rush locking in exactly what I wanted (and I did change my mind on a few things during the process which was never a problem). An exquisite venue does come with a price tag, so you need to know your budget in advance. The transport arranged for myself and the guests was fantastic. Everything on the day was like clockwork, it ran so smoothly. My guests can’t stop talking about how beautiful the day was. I wish I had a little more time at the Mill but I’m sure every bride says their wedding day flies by. Tara was around at the exact moments needed on the day. I can’t recommend Haiku Mill and their team more. It was the best day of my life and I’m so glad they were all part of it! X

Wedding videographer loved her experience at the Haiku Mill!
I am a wedding videographer that had an incredible experience working with the Haiku Mill and the Pua Le'a & Co. planning team. The coordinator Summer did an incredible job she went above and beyond with everything she did. She is such a beautiful person inside and out. Rachel also gave us a tour and was kind and great to work with. Shelby from Elements by K.H & co. the management firm was also amazing to work with. She did an amazing job communicating with me and even met up with me before the event. Everyone worked together beautifully and I would be honored to work with each of them again! Melia Lucida was the photographer and she was also amazing. I can't recommend this team and venue enough! -

User844300 Sent on 06/27/2012I got married at Haiku Mill in November, 2011. It was such a great experience, a dream come true! The entire planning process went really well, our planner Stephanie Shepherd is so professional and creative, all of her knowledge and experience really helped make our day go as smoothly as possible. We were looking to get married at a one of a kind location with an intimate, dreamy atmosphere and were so happy to have chosen Haiku Mill.
All the vendors (florists, caterers, bar, photographer) were above our expactations.We had about 10 minutes of rain, after the ceremony and it wasn't a concern because of all the tenting. Our family and friends were in awe as to how gorgeous everything was! It was perfect day in every way.
I would absolutely recommend getting married at Haiku Mill!

Danielle Sent on 07/24/2010Sylvia, the owner and Allie, the on-site coordinator are wonderful people to work with. They are accommodating, helpful and have inside tips to keeping you within your budget. Allie's motto for our wedding day was for us, our family and our friends to sit back relax and have fun. She did a great job of organizing and taking care of the details that day. They truly share the Aloha spirit!
It's hard to believe, but the venue truly is exactly what you see in the pictures. It's a magical and romantic venue that draws you in! Sylvia has also done a fantastic job decorating the venue in a very classic French antique style. The venue is a photographers dream and you will walk away with gorgeous photos! -

We can not say enough about our experience at Haiku Mill! Being from Atlanta, and so far from Maui, we could not have asked for a better planning experience. Tara was AMAZING and made sure all our of wedding day visions came true. She was very accomodating and hands on throughout the entire process. Tara truly made wedding planning so fun and stress free! The Mill and all the staff were very professional and accommodating. Pictures do not do it justice. Truly breathtaking everywhere you look. If you are looking for an experience you and all your guests will NEVER forget, the Mill is the place for you. Best decision we ever made! -
Justin Sent on 10/11/2018Hi! If you wan't to get married in Maui, Haiku Mill is definitely worth every penny. When you first contact Haiku Mill they'll assign you a wedding coordination vendor and you will only work with them from here on out. We got Elements Luxury Events(Wedding Coordinator Services) and KH&Co (Vendor Services). I believe this is their go to/ most trusted coordination vendor. Shaky start at first, the initial contact person was not responsive at all (replied once every 2-3 weeks). I had to contact Haiku Mill who then routed me to the Elements Luxury Events CEO and from there communication got better. Overall experience with the vendor was great, shout out to our wedding coordinator, Tara Lee Murphy!
Lessons Learned:
- I do suggest to read the contracts carefully and make sure you account all the tax and wedding coordination fees that comes along with it.
- Don't expect a wedding plan 6 months in advance. Coordinator will finalize your vendor list around 3 - 2 months before your wedding.
- Always be proactive in engaging your coordinator
- Ask for list of allowed Haiku Mill vendors early on
- Let them know if you're bringing your own photographer as you need to ensure your photographer has proper insurance liabilities. Ours was andieaveryphotography.com
- When choosing a vendor (i.e. chairs, flowers, catering, etc.) ALWAYS keep in mind that there will be appx 18-20% additional cost. (e.g. total vendor cost is 30K but you still have to pay certain percentages of the total to Elements Luxury Events and Haiku Mill. So you're actually paying 40K if you're getting 30K in vendor services).
