  Lovely Summer Wedding Reception

  We held our small summer wedding reception at the Courtyard in the Granville Inn and had a beautiful, memorable time that was perfect for the intimate, special atmosphere that we were seeking for our wedding day. The food was delicious, and our guests loved the quaint setting.

  The most Magical place ever!

  I truly don't have enough words to express my LOVE for The Granville Inn and the amazing ladies that make it all happen!! We just had my daughters wedding on July 18, 2020, it had been postponed from May 23rd due to COVID! This women held our hands and our heart as we made difficult decisions and multiple changes. They were kind, understanding and put my daughter above all else! Fast forward to her perfect Wedding Day! We chose The Granville Inn because it looks like it was ripped straight out of a storybook! We feel in love with Jana and eventually Linda, Ann...etc... We had the whole weekend there, Rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour, reception and brunch, while many of our guests spent the whole weekend at the Inn with us! It felt like a destination wedding out of a fairytale. The weekend was GORGEOUS, fun and beautifully executed! These women even became servers for us! I recommend to ever bride, this place and people are pure magic! Thank you again to Jana, Linda, Ann and the rest of the amazing staff!

  Beautiful inn full of lovely people!

  First of all, the inn is so gorgeous that it barely needs any additional decorations, which saved us so much wedding planning time. But more importantly, everyone there was so nice and helpful and fun to work with. Jana the events coordinator is a wonderful person who has a perfect balance between organization and flexibility; she kept everyone on schedule and made sure we were all relaxed and having fun while doing it! And thank you to the bartender who slipped me and my husband an extra glass of wine before she closed :)

  The Granville Inn was one of our first stops in our wedding venue hunt, and we fell in love with it. For our wedding, we envisioned a weekend that family and friends would all be close by so we could maximize the time that we got to spend with them and that the wedding would be personal but not overwhelming with last-minute coordination and DIY decorating. The Granville was ABSOLUTELY the right choice. It’s a charming place nestled in an adorable town, the sales and events team are absolutely amazing. Lynda and Abbey absolutely nailed it! They were flexible, accommodating, and attentive. They are essentially your coordinators and planners for the big day - and they took notes and executed everything we asked for perfectly from decorating, to special drinks, to bringing Michael and I a plate of appetizers during our photos. Speaking of the food... hats off to the chef at the Oak Room and all of the catering staff! We had high expectations after our tasting experience and they executed flawlessly - 120 steaks and salmon cooked perfectly!!! My groom and I cleaned our plate. I would recommend the Granville to any couple looking for a place to hold a reception (and/or ceremony) Our wedding was classically beautiful, personal, our guests had a blast, and we had the best day of our lives.

  The Granville Inn was a stunning reception venue with exceptional service! MacLaren and the event services staff were incredibly helpful every step of the way. Planning the menu and room set-up was very simple and I was able to alter every plan to fit my needs. The day of, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that my guests and I were happy. The food was incredible and I received many compliments about the service, the food, and the scenery following the wedding. There was very little decorating and planning that I needed to do for the reception because The Granville Inn takes care of almost everything.

  Our wedding turned out absolutely amazing! We held the ceremony and reception at the Inn and it was the perfect day. Working with Jana was great! She responded quickly to all our emails, many questions and made sure to create a magical wedding. The food was also wonderful and received high marks from all our guests! Thank you Jana and to all the staff at the Granville Inn!

  The Granville Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff was great from my first visit until my wedding was over. I had a great experience throughout the planning process with Linda, MacLaren, and Tim. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing.
  
  The guest rooms are so nice. Jay and I as well as our guests were very happy with our overnight stay at the Inn. Jay and I will definitely go back to celebrate our anniversary next year.

  Tim at the Granville Inn did a great job providing us with numerous options for our wedding. We chose a luncheon buffet. Tim and his staff came to our venue, set up all of the tables, and the buffet, then cleared the dishes from our tables. They were professional, kind, and friendly. The food was delicious! They helped make our wedding reception very special!

  We were so blessed to be the first wedding since the renovation at The Granville Inn! The did an amazing job with keeping the character of the historic Inn but added in modern touches. Working with MacLaren and Linda was so fun and I appreciated their help with everything. I would recommend The Granville Inn to anyone! Loved it!

  We were looking for a historic venue to have our ceremony and reception. From the moment we walked in to the checking out the day after our wedding, we had the most amazing experience. We chose Granville Inn because the "all-inclusive package" was the best value of all the venues we looked at. I didn't have a wedding planner and we had a lot of out-of-town guests, so the fact that they took care of catering and the bar along with a coordinator was a HUGE plus. Daphne and Sarah were so helpful throughout the whole planning process. I stayed the night before in the suite (which I strongly recommend) so I didn't have to move my stuff the day of. There is lots of room to get ready in. Sarah took care of everything the day of and I didn't have to worry about anything, they made sure the day ran smoothly. The food was INCREDIBLE! Everyone loved the hors d'oeuvres, the main course (we did filet and airline chicken), the coffee bar (worth the upgrade!) and the late night snacks. The ceremony space was set up exactly how we discussed and the spaces looked beautiful. They had all our gifts brought up to our room along with the extra cupcakes from the reception. The wait staff and bartender were professional and friendly. We had about 55 people and the space didn't feel too big as they set up everything to make the room look full (it can fit many more). Overall they made my day special and I didn't have to lift a finger. This is a great venue for the bride who doesn't want to DIY and wants to relax and enjoy her big day. And what you get for the money is a huge value, I couldn't have done a DIY wedding for the price we paid for the Inn. This was also a great location for our out-of-town guests to explore with lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance.

  The food is awful

  The venue was beautiful, but the sales rep turn over is quick here. I had three contacts within one year and the final lady blamed the bad communication and experience on the previous employees. Also, our first food tasting was AWFUL. We told them we hated the food so they invited us back for another tasting and ensured us that was a one off experience and the food for our wedding day would not taste bad. When our wedding day came around, we did not get the bridal suite like we had been promised, we were stuck with a tiny normal hotel room, and the food was TERRIBLE. We paid $49.99 a person for horrible tasting food. I was so embarrassed for our guests thinking we couldn't afford good food. The venue is gorgeous but I would not recommend the sales reps or the food again. Waste of money and extremely over priced.
