Absolutely Amazing!!!!
Granite Springs was amazing!! We had our wedding there and it was the most perfect day!! Over the year of wedding planning, Haley was amazing to work with. She was very responsive and would respond the same day with any questions I had! They made the venue look perfect! We also got to stay on site in the cabins/villas and they were very nice, clean, and convenient. I can’t thank them enough for all that they did for us!Granite Springs Lodge's reply:

Our dream wedding weekend!
Granite Springs was so accommodating. We loved being able to utilize the entire property to host our friends and family. Our guests loved the rooms, game room, the trails to walk on, and all the space to gather. It’s a hidden gem with amazing views for pictures. The event center is beautifully designed and helped us create the perfect atmosphere for our wedding reception. We got married in January, but definitely plan to visit again in the summer to enjoy the other amenities and reminisce our on wedding day!Granite Springs Lodge's reply:

Lovedd this venue
This venue absolutely speaks for itself - not only is it absolutely beautiful, but the staff was SO incredibly helpful starting from when we very first toured all the way to weeks after the wedding when we realized we left stuff behind. Such a beautiful location. We loved that it felt private. Very accommodating to our needs & wants. The staff were friendly and easy to work with. We were very happy with the villas and being able to stay so close! Many of our guests made comments on how beautiful the venue is and that it was a great find. We truly enjoyed getting married at Granite Springs. The venue is absolutely beautiful and perfect for many types of events! The staff were so helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Everything was very clean and ready to go for our special day. We were even able to get into the event center a little early. This is such a gorgeous venue. We had our wedding here in July and we got so many compliments and so many people asked us how we found this place (I just did a lot of research!). The wrap around porch on the back was a great spot for pictures (it has a beautiful background) and was amazing for our guests to hang out who didn't want to be on the dance floor!
Compared to venues in Sioux Falls this was such an amazing price. The employees were so wonderful to work with not only leading up to the wedding but they were helpful on the day of as well. When I had questions or concerns leading up to the wedding they were responsive and more than fair when working out solutions with us.
The bridal party and a few other guests stayed on the property that night and it was so much fun going for a late night swim and having a fire down by the beach. I wish I could re-live my wedding over and over again and I would choose this venue every time!Granite Springs Lodge's reply:

We had a super experience with Granite Springs and their entire staff. We rented a majority of the property for an extended wedding weekend and our guests enjoyed every aspect of the place. We had our wedding at Granite Springs, and it was truly everything we dreamed of and more! From the very beginning, the staff was incredibly helpful—always just a quick text or phone call away. They answered every question promptly and even had extra supplies on hand, which made a huge difference when little things popped up.
We also rented decor through Granite Springs and used their bar services, and I would never go a different route. Everything was seamless, beautiful, and stress-free. The bar staff was professional and friendly, and the decor rentals made setup so much easier while still looking stunning.
Our family and bridal party stayed on the property, and the villas and cottage were perfect. It made the entire weekend feel relaxed and connected. Multiple guests commented on how smoothly everything ran, and we know that was thanks to the incredible Granite Springs team.
If you’re looking for a gorgeous venue with top-notch service, helpful staff, on-site lodging, and amazing extras like decor and bar options—Granite Springs is the place. We can’t recommend them enough!Granite Springs Lodge's reply:

We got married 5/31 and stayed all weekend- it was perfect weather and we didn’t have to worry about GS staff at all. Chairs were set up and taken down for the ceremony on time, the bar staff was great, the outdoors areas were clean and up-kept, the guys had a great time fishing, and the staff even helped restock desserts at the wedding reception when they didn’t have to. All questions were responded to in a very timely matter and everything went smoothly planning this weekend. 10/10 recommend!Granite Springs Lodge's reply:

Amazing weekend wedding retreat!
We researched 50 venues between Northern Illinois and Western Nebraska so it would be somewhat equal distance for our family to travel to. Granite Springs stood out to us because majority of the family could stay on property, the beautiful spring fed lake made for incredible views, and that we had multiple days to set up the venue to limit stress.
Working with Granite Springs was easy and they were accommodating to our wants and needs for the wedding. The weekend turned out beautifully and our guest raved about the locations beauty.Granite Springs Lodge's reply:

So flexible and easy to work with!
GS was so great to work with. They supplied so many things without additional cost; chairs, tables, linens, cleaning supplies, additional tables and chairs and cloths when needed, kitchen with amenities, etc. The whole venue is so beautiful and spacious. Granite Springs Lodge does an amazing job helping with wedding plans. They were there to answer any questions and even walked us through how other weddings did it so we had an idea of what to do. They had all the tables set up and had extras ready in case we needed them for something else. I would 100% recommend them to anyone getting married. We chose this venue because of the scenic views. The staff were great to work with and let us customize our day in many ways. We had the wedding, reception, and photos here. Our photos are beautiful with all of the greenery in the background. Our guests enjoyed spending time outside around the grounds before and after the wedding and reception. Wonderful wedding venue with the best scenery
If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor area for your wedding, this is the place to go. In addition, they have a beautiful convention center that was wonderful for our reception (and a good backup for our outdoor ceremony in the event of unexpected weather). Not only was this the most beautiful place to get married, but the owners were very accommodating along the way, answering any question I had in a timely manner and helping us get set up with lodging in the cabins and cottage. Unforgettably Amazing
Granite Springs is a beautiful place to use for your venue. It has a lot of great scenery for photos. Any season of the year it is beautiful. All the staff who helped my family and I along the way were a great help. I would highly recommend this venue option to anyone having a wedding near Alexandria. * We rented the Event Center for 1.5 days and the Villas for 2 days. Beautiful Wedding Day!
Worth the drive! What a gorgeous day and venue! The guests will be talking about this wedding for years to come! Our wedding took place on the beach and that was the reason we chose this venue. . The atmosphere, the water splashing during the ceremony, the beauty and the staff were amazing! The staff were flexible with all of our requests and this made the day go so smooth! We chose the package that included a Friday through Sunday morning stay, and it was well worth it! We also utilized the villas and the house and both were so convenient! Christy was wonderful to work with!
I couldn’t recommend any place better! The venue was stunning. Christy was so accommodating and helpful! They had everything set up perfectly so all we had to do was add decorations. Just a all over wonderful experience! People still talk about how helpful and kind the staff were and how beautiful of a venue we picked! -

This venue made my wedding my dream wedding I have always wanted and much much more. Couldn’t recommend it more to anyone who wants to have a romantic outdoors wedding where The beauty of nature is breathtaking. Kristy was a pleasure to work with and made sure everything was taken care of. Even last minute when I needed mannequins, she called a friend and immediately had three for me. Wedding planning should not be stressful and this venue made it so enjoyable and stress free. -

Granite Springs popped up on our radar because it’s located in my home town. Kristi was amazing. Extremely helpful, answered all of our questions. 30 days before the wedding we ended up switching our caterer and Kristi was very understanding and worked with our new one to accommodate us. This is one of the few venues who allows you to choose caterers not on their list and use small businesses. There was a couple of things that came up the day of, once we told Kristi she took care of them right away and did everything to help make our day wonderful. On top of excellent service, Granite Springs is breathtaking! There is so much beauty outside and inside the venue, we used only a few decorations. If you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful venue this definitely for you. On top of the service, the beauty, location, the price is something that’s hard to be beat as well! Cannot recommended this venue enough. They also do other events, and pheasant hunting!

Amazing!!!
Considering I married a CPA, the first thing we loved was their clear and concise pricing. We were just about to sign a contract elsewhere when we got into gratuities to the house on top of gratuities to the staff on top of nickels and dimes for things that honestly, should be included. We cut ties with them and started our search over again. We are sooo happy we decided on this venue. They were upfront on all their pricing and on top of that, super friendly and easy to work with. Our guests joked it was an all inclusive wedding that they didn’t have to really travel for because of the beach, water, and lodging on-site. The venue was absolutely beautiful we have zero complaints about our experience and only fantastic memories. 💕 -

Amazing Venu
We had an amazing time celebrating our wedding at GSL. The venu was beautiful and held 200 guest very comfortably. The staff was amazing to work with and helped the day go so smooth. I would recommend GSL to anyone. -

Almost a year ago, I was at Granite Springs Lodge for a staff retreat, and put the location on my phone as a potential wedding location. At that time I was still anticipating my now husband to pop the big question. Once he did, without a doubt GSL was the place we wanted to get married. Our wedding was almost two weeks ago (August 29th) and we are still receiving compliments on how beautiful everything was and how great the venue was. Kristy, Brian, and the GSL team made everything so easy and were great to work with. We left the reception thinking there was more we needed to do but everything was taken care of and we were able to rest easy in the BEAUTIFUL/NEW honeymoon suite onsite. We are looking forward to spending our anniversary here for years to come. -

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to tie the knot! We wanted something that was outdoors! The ability to rent the entire venue was and added bonus because then I knew my guest where being safe after the evening. The water and other areas made for amazing wedding photos that I will chairs forever! -

Perfect Venue for Wedding
Granite Springs was the PERFECT place for our large crowd. They were so accommodating and helpful with ideas on how to make our day the best it could be. They had enough lodging for our family and friends and a great area down by the spring for our guests to enjoy during the day/night. -

September Wedding
This venue was so beautiful! Our day was just perfect! Only con was the few people on the water in the background of some of our photos which we just blurred out and there was some dried grass in the grass where we had the ceremony so we had to rake that up so it wouldn’t get on our dresses. Everything else was great! The facility, view, the arch we rented from them, and weather even! The on-site lodging in the villas was also very nice and very worth it, not to mention beautiful! Great venue! -
