  I walked into our first meeting having no idea what I was looking for. I knew that I had seen several beautiful pictures on the website and that I loved the different lighting options. Terry was so friendly and was able to make the decorating simple and within the budget I was looking for. I would very much recommend them to decorate your venues.

  Terry did an amazing job decorating our reception. I could not be more happy with the way it turned out. I recieved so many compliments for guests as well.

  So far I am very happy with Grand Illusions! Terry is very nice and helpful and I didn't feel like he was pushing any ideas or trying to sell us on anything. He gave me options to work within our budget, and had many pictures and fabric samples to show us. I was a little worried scheduling him with our other vendors that it might not work out, but he said they will come in and work overnight the night before to make it happen, so I am very pleased! Can't wait to see how it all turns out!

  Terry was great to work with and had wonderful ideas. We ended up just going to him mainly for ceiling and wall decor. We also rented napkins from him. He set up our chairs and tables at the reception. He did a great job with everything. I looooved how our ceiling and walls looked and would recommend Grand Illusions. (: He even came back down to fix a problem that there was with one of the strands of lights on our ceiling. Was helpful and always met with us and helped us to make things how we wanted.

  Terri creates so many things for weddings that I never dreamed of. We met with him and he showed us so many pictures of what he has done. You can say one little thing that you were thinking about, and he comes up with an idea that builds on your thought and makes it AMAZING. He is super friendly but is definitely a salesman. He was hard to contact at times, and sometimes made jokes about money that we didn't appreciate. However, his work is outstanding, and I have no regrets about going with Grand Illusions. I was absolutely blown away when I walked into the room. I have been getting compliments about our wedding being the most beautiful wedding people have been to. Despite the trouble getting ahold of him once in a while, I would use him for any future events I may plan.

  Terry and his team did a great job of decorating my ceremony and reception. I had him make an altar for us (we didnt get married in a church) and he also made this amazing 2 tier head table that was lit up - gorgeous. We had him do some uplighting as well in our accent color - blue. It looked awesome.

  VERY DISAPPOINTED! I selected a picture of a setting Terry had done for a previous wedding and also asking for a ceiling to floor silk backdrop for the alter area in the ceremony room. Not only was the backdrop a foot short, the room didn’t look anything like the picture I had requested. As a matter of fact, he had hung silk from the ceiling in such a way that it created a wall that wouldn’t let half of my guests see us during most of the wedding. When my sister told him this wasn’t what I asked for, he told her he had discussed the “new” design with me and I had agreed. That was a lie, and the “new” design was horrible! Thank God for my Sister and the Marriott who came up with a solution. For the money Terry charges for his services, we should not have had to fix anything. The chair covers and uplighting in the reception area were nice, but I would never recommend Terry.
