This hotel is actually pretty expensive. I'm not sure whether it's because the options are slim in Salem, but our 5-star hotel in Vegas was cheaper. Also, one of my bridesmaids left her laptop in her room, and when she called about it, they said they never saw it. I understand that they warn you about not being responsible for lost items, but really...?! Shouldn't you at least operate from the value basis that your guests should not feel like it's a "you snooze, you lose" situation? Do they actually train their staff the values of honesty and dignity, or do they give them the message that anything left behind is free for all?
