All in one package

When you think of a wedding i thought just music would be covered but mine really took the reigns of our wedding and helped make our big day come to life , from working with my wife ayo to the last minute ( literally made a change a few minutes before ceremony) he made everything run smoothly , grateful for everything he did for us from hosting the wedding and directing guest to his awesome lighting package that helped tie in the dance floor , and made the small details pop! Thanks again Mike if you are considering him for your wedding or event he really has you covered !

Hand down amazing!

Mike was our DJ at Lake Oak Meadows in Temecula. From the very beginning he was extremely nice, accommodating and easy to reach for questions. Day of wedding all of our songs were played perfectly and he was a great MC the rest of the night. 5 stars all the way!

Mike was very easy to work with and super accommodating. We had to reschedule our wedding 3 times due to COVID and Mike was very understanding. He scheduled walk through meetings with us to ensure our special day ran smoothly. 10/10 would recommend.

Great Service and Fun!

Mike and his son were phenomenal at our wedding. We had a lot of ups and downs due to Covid and our venue being extremely difficult to work with, but these two were a bright light in the lead up and the day of our wedding. They listened to what we wanted, were communicative, and when we weren’t sure of something they provided us with helpful lists of popular songs so we had a starting point. They triple checked names and titles and worked well with our other vendors. I would absolutely recommend Mike to any couple looking for a DJ for a wedding or any event!

Phenomenal Read of the Room

DJ Mike knows how to control a crowd with a huge genre and variety of songs my main concern going into this was that the DJ would play top 100 or just throw in a lot of his own music, but it felt like he took our play list understood our vibe and ran with it. I am a huge music person and was pleasantly surprised with how well that part of the night went thank you DJ Mike!

We had an amazing experience with DJ Mike!

We had a WONDERFUL experience with Mike at our wedding! He made the prep work easy and straight forward; and it was very clear in our FaceTime call that he understood the vibe we were going for. His music choices made the night so much fun; and he was a phenomenal DJ/MC!! All of our guests had glowing reviews, and we had such a fabulous evening! Wonderful DJ and MC!

Mike from Good Time Entertainment was an amazing MC and was great at getting the crowd going with good music and clear directions. We all felt a bit scatterbrained on the day of our wedding but Mike checked on us several times throughout the night to ensure that we had everything we needed and that we were going along with our intended timeline. We received so many compliments about our playlist and we heard all the best songs that we love dancing to! Would highly recommend having them at your wedding for a good time :)

All Time Best DJ!

Mike was the dj for our wedding. Because we decided to celebrate our love during covid there was a few venue restrictions but Mike didn't let that get in the way of him making sure our night still felt special. We really didn't know how the whole dj process worked thought after going over the questionnaire with Mike he made us feel confident and excited about all the little details. He was great!!

Mike's team was awesome! We had Adam Tripp, and he was a great DJ. Did exactly was the bride asked! The app they have that allows you to pick songs (it even recommends songs) helps keep you organized so you know what songs will play for which part of the wedding, and in what order. They're great!

Mike, our Dj, was really great from our first correspondence til the end of the wedding. We had no idea what choosing wedding songs was like and he was able to provide advice and when we had an idea for something he was really supportive! On our wedding day, he played great songs, played exactly what we asked for when, but also changed songs per request of the bride and groom if needed! Would definitely recommend!!

A wedding can be stressful, dealing with planning and cost but Mike did a fantastic job of making us feel comfortable and putting us at ease. Classy, Old-School Fun!

Love, Love, Love Mike Shroyer! What a great DJ with a huge range of music. His Q & A prior to our wedding was perfect. He asked all the right questions and took the time to talk to us to learn our music likes and dislikes. He even helped get our creative juices flowing on music because we did not want traditional wedding songs at our ceremony. Our guests had a lot of fun. Thank you Mike!

Very Easy To Work With

I went to a wedding about 6 months before my wedding and the DJ was kind of teribble - the music choice was not fitting for the crowd and he couldnt get anyone on the dance floor. After this I was super nervous about getting a bad DJ as this is such a huge part in a wedding! I wanted a wedding where everyone has fun and is out on the dance floor all night. Mike did an excellent job of making sure everyone was involved (and you could actually hear him speaking clearly through the microphone). He really got a feel for the crowd and would play songs that got people excited and would switch up the songs if people seemed less interested. We also changed our bridal party's walk out song about 10 times before they actually walked out and he had no problem with any of it! By the time you get to this point in your wedding planning, you just want someone to tell you they're going to handle it and make it a good time. That's exactly what Mike did - we FaceTimed him and gave him a few ideas of what we liked and he said he would run with it and we didn't have to worry about a thing. I remember being so relieved after FaceTiming him as I knew he was going to make it a great time. I was still a little worried about how it was going to turn out because of how broad our music choice was and how little information we gave him lol but I had heard such great reviews that I trusted everything would be fine and it was PERFECT!! I would highly highly recommend using Mike if you are looking for a DJ that is going to help make your wedding night the best night of your life!

Mike came with our venue so we did not choose him but we couldn't have been happier! He worked with us to get the music we were looking for for each part of our day and song selection was better than we could have picked out ourselves. It was a party all night!

Mike Shroyer was an awesome wedding DJ! Right from the beginning he was super easy and helpful to work with. We were able to FaceTime and go over our must have songs, style of set list we wanted him to play and the type of vibe we wanted our whole wedding to be. He absolutely crushed it! The music during our ceremony, dinner, and reception was perfect...not to mention a great host! The DJ makes the wedding and he kept it moving and dancing all night. We could not recommend him more highly!! If you have the chance to hire Mike Shroyer, do it!!

Mike was the absolute best. My husband and I knew that music was going to be one of the most important elements of our wedding, and we are so grateful that we found Mike. We have very specific taste in music and brought a strong point of view to the style that we wanted on our day. Mike totally understood but also built on our ideas right in line with our taste and played a perfect set on the big day. He also covered some of our favorite songs before our ceremony as guests were being seated. Mike was equally impressive and great to deal with during the planning phase. He is available, highly attentive, organized and accommodating. All in all could not recommend Mike more strongly.

Mike is a very helpful DJ. He gave us a list of top songs of each genres to play at the wedding. We had no idea of what songs to pick so this list was very helpful. He took special requests on theme and content that we wanted. Also he found songs in Armenian to play.

Perfect Execution

Mike of Good Time Entertainment is the best wedding DJ around. His level of professionalism is unmatched while still conveying a very warm and comfortable personality over the microphone. We couldn't ask for a better DJ and MC for our wedding. He spent a lot of time meeting with us to get to know what we wanted and the style of music we were looking for, and he totally hit it out of the park on our wedding day! He also offered awesome suggestions for particular dances and events/formalities where we didn’t really have an idea what songs we wanted to use. He totally put us at ease on our wedding day, as he kept us on track without being pushy or rushing us along, and in many ways it felt like having another wedding coordinator there. The music selections he put together kept everyone on the dance floor all night! We also loved his additional lighting packages and video equipment—his amber up lights created the perfect warm mood for our fall wedding! We would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone!

Awesome DJ!

DJ Mike provided the music for our wedding at Lake Oak Meadows. He met with us a few months before the wedding to get a sense of our music taste and what we wanted played at our wedding. Music is really important to us, and we had a particular vision for the music at our wedding. DJ Mike did an EXCELLENT job making that vision come true. He also did a wonderful job announcing all of the different events for the night and gently keeping us on our timeline. We have received multiple compliments on the music played throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and, of course, dancing. Thanks Mike!

Professional, Mixes Music Extremely Well, & Puts You First

Mike Shroyer is an incredible wedding DJ. His demeanor is easy-going and very personable. He finds out what music you and your spouse love and weaves it into a musical tapestry that is the perfect soundtrack to your wedding! Additionally, he was a phenomenal MC for our reception and kept the crowd dancing the whole night.

That's what you'd expect from any professional DJ worth his salt. But Mike goes above and beyond what you'd expect.

When you get married, you'll find that most (if not all) of your guests want to talk to you and wish you well. This is wonderful, except it usually means that you won't have even a minute to eat a bread roll. Mike interceded on our behalf during dinner so that we could eat and take a moment to soak our surroundings all in. He's the nicest bodyguard a bride could ask for!

Additionally, he kept us on OUR schedule. Even while DJ-ing, he would go out of his way to find us at key moments to make sure we were ready for the next item on the schedule (if we weren't, he would delay for us).

He's fantastic and I would highly recommend that you hire him!

Shawn at Good Time meshed perfectly with our wedding

Shawn Chidester from Good Time entertainment was amazing!! He sent a really easy to fill out spreadsheet well before the wedding, so we knew all the spaces we needed to pick songs for and had plenty of time to do so. He was responsive and gave great advice when asked.

Day of the wedding, he kept everything going smoothly without rushing. He made sure what we wanted was met without buggin’. Most importantly, he was really fun!!

Side note: because of an illness, I couldn’t dance very long for our first dance and father daughter dance. He transitioned seemlessly and didn’t make the songs seem cut off at all! Thank you!!

The POWER OF SONG rocked the Hudson River Museum today, with a mashup of abolitionist songs by the Dutchess Antislavery Singers, gospel by the Souls United of the Hudson Valley, and protest tunes spun by DJ Nessdigital. Mike was an AMAZING DJ!! Your DJ basically runs the evening and keeps things in order! He did a great job from the start! Was always flexible on meeting times, emailed us back within 24 hours and was prepared every time we met. He knows what questions to ask you to get things started incase you aren't sure. The day of, he was on time, dressed professionally and his set up is perfect. His new DJ booth has a video screen on it so we got to give him pictures to play during the evening which is a very personal touch. Once the dancing got started he would play the music videos to whatever song was playing! I would recommend him over and over!

Mike from Good Time Entertainment was a DJ/MC for my cousins wedding when I was 13 years old.. I told him THEN, 13 years ago, that he would one day DJ my wedding.. And I stuck to that!!! He's been around my community ever since and when we got engaged he was literally the first person I called to book, no questions asked!!! Highly recommend, this is an AMAZING company and you will NOT be disappointed!! They say a DJ WILL make or break a wedding, and that couldn't be more true! He was SO easy to work with and i don't think any of our 250 guests left the dance floor once!!! I could just tell him an artist and he took it from there. Great playlists, great music, great entertainment.. The company should be renamed to GREAT TIME ENTERTAINMENT!!!

Let me start by saying Mike was a man of his word. No matter how many emails I sent him requesting songs both my wife and I want to have played at our wedding, and there were A LOT, he made sure that he got to them before taking or playing them before any requests.

We got tons of compliments during our reception as to how well of a job he was doing and people loved his set up with the DJ booth featuring a TV screen that played music videos along with the song that was playing at the time.

He also worked well with our vendors when our videographer needed to get sound for her camera he allowed her to plug right into his speakers so she could capture the moments. Needless to say I could go on and on about how great Mike was and the great job he did on our up lighting and gobo and working with others... so if you're looking for a great DJ and a great price look no further, Mike is your guy.

We LOVE DJ Mike!!! They say the DJ can make or break your big day, let's just say DJ Mike made our day amazing beyond our wildest dreams!! He went above and beyond and created an amazing mix for my dad and I to pull a fast one on our wedding guests for our Father Daughter Dance. Mike also did an incredible job announcing our bridal party! My husband and I met playing professional basketball so it was really important to my husband to tie that bit of our story into our wedding by announcing our wedding party like a basketball starting line-up! Mike was better than any of the professional announcers we have ever had...we LOVED it!! His set up is amazing and he really listens to what you want for your wedding playlist. I said no cheesy wedding music and he definitely followed through on that request! Mike even came out onto the dance floor with us and our guests and showed them how to wobble! They loved his interaction and how he was truly part of the celebration! We would recommend Mike to everyone! He is the best in the business!!!

Good Time Entertainment set the tone of the evening and more importantly change the tone when it was as the Bride requested in their planning. I am not over exaggerating. Mike was the dj of my dreams for my wedding. He totally saw my vision and made it come to life. The music was top 3 most important things at my wedding and I had full trust in him when I gave him my list. Everything was perfect. Songs were at the right time. The timing fade was amazing during ceremony. He didn't "over-do" it, if you know what I mean. My family and I have yet to stop talking about how amazing mike did. And every wedding we have attending after mine we feel bad for the couple because they didn't have Mike jammin' for them!! I can not praise him enough for his job at my wedding. Dream come true! If I had another dj I know i would've been upset if the right song wasn't played, or a different version. We had it all figured out together! Mike also has an awesome clean set up with a tv screen! I’ve been meaning to write to you ever since Jill and Anthony’s wedding on May 10, to tell you how much we appreciated your services for their wedding/reception and to THANK YOU for your outstanding service.
Having hosted and been a guest at many, many events, I am convinced most people truly don’t understand how important music selection and timing is to the overall ambience and potential fun of the day. We have hired you twice and not coincidentally, both events were back dropped in perfect music and timing resulting in both events being incredibly beautiful and ENTERTAINING! Your ‘ear’ and ‘eye’ being always on the event ensures no lulls in the activities, ESPECIALLY on the dance floor. (We also LOVED your dj cart with the videos on front…it was fun to try the dance moves!)
At a recent event where you were NOT dj-ing, the person in charge of the music had no idea that the music he was playing was not danceable or appropriate to his audience which resulted in an empty dance floor, which resulted in people leaving early, which equaled no fun! SO important for the dj to keep an eye on the ‘mood’ of the event!!!
Also, I would like to thank you for making non-obnoxious announcements for us such as the parking situation and efficiently and kindly dismissing tables for the chow line, cake cutting, etc. Outstanding service.
Needless to say, we are available for any reference, any time. Also, any time we are in the need for dj services you can be assured we, and all of our friends, will be booking you way in advance! Thank you so much for helping to make that day such a wonderful time!

Service: Mike was the DJ for our wedding and reception. He also setup up-lights, video projection, monogram, and pin lights for us. I hooked up my keyboard to Mike's sound system too.

Experience: Mike writes short email so we communicated mostly by phone and he's friendly and very easy to work with. We came up with some ideas for the wedding and reception and ran it by Mike for his recommendations. We just had one face to face meeting to get what we need. We provided the schedule of events and songs we want to Mike and it's done. So simple.

Bottom Line: Mike is definitely a seasoned pro and he made our wedding such a success. Both the lighting and sound were perfect beyond our expectation. Thank you Mike for making our event so entertaining!!

Mike Shroyer was our DJ at our wedding. I cannot say enough great things about him. Leading up to the wedding, he was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. I thought Mike would have a tough time b/c half our guests were white and half were Mexican. He did a great job of keeping our guests engaged. He took our songs that we had suggested to him and then mixed those with what he thought would keep people dancing. He even got all of the couples organized prior to our introduction. He kept the wedding running very, very smoothly. The next day both sides of our wedding kept praising us for our music selection. We couldnt take the credit. Mike did it all. Mike was incredibly professional and a pleasure to work with! He did a great job DJ-ing our wedding and knew exactly which songs to play for venue. He even got on the dance floor with us! In addition, he provided gorgeous up lighting for our reception and it added a beautiful romantic feel. I would definitely recommend using Mike for any of your special events!

My daughter hired Good Time Entertainment for her wedding a few weeks ago. We felt that a DJ makes or breaks a wedding and we wanted to hire the best in the area. Mike at Good Time did an awesome job and kept the party going all night. Loved his music and video screen that he had. Mike was very easy and accommodating to work with. Mike was so awesome to work with! He did an amazing job keeping everyone on the dance floor (We literally danced the night away and someone was ALWAYS up there). He really made it a night to remember for my husband and I. He also did an amazing job with his lighting around our venue that really was a great finishing touch! We had around 200 guests at our wedding and we have had so many people ask the name of our DJ because they want to use them for their upcoming events. Mike is a very laid back guy and easy to like. I would definitely use him again if we did it all over again.

Mike with Good Time Entertainment was fantastic! My husband and I were planning a destination wedding so we had to do a lot of research online for our DJ. Mike was recommended by the venue that we were getting married so we contact him. When I first spoke with Mike, he immediately impressed me. He was extremely friendly and was very knowledgeable! My now husband :) and I had a budget that we needed to stay within and he was so accomidating to make it work for us. We really appreciated his flexibilty and willingness to work with us and not turn us aways like so many other DJ's did. Also, to our suprise he also has a lighting company, so he could also provide all of the lighting for our wedding. This was great because he could do it all!
It was a little scary hiring a DJ for our wedding without meeting him first, but based on my interactions with him over the phone, he was so professional and fun at the same time that I knew he would do a great job!
And he did! Mike provided the music and mic fo the ceremony. Everything flowed perfectly! Then for the cocktail reception, I gave him a few artists that I liked and left the rest to him. His music selections were fantastic and set the evening off just right. Then for the dinner reception, his music was right on throughout the night. He directed the flow of the evening's events and did it all so professionally. We had a buffet dinner and he personally greeted each table once it was their turn for dinner. I loved that he didn't call the table numbers over the speakers.
After dinner, Mike got everyone on the dance floor (even my 86 year old Grandpa)! My husband, me and all of our guests had the best time dancing the night away! No one wanted to leave at the end!! From start to finish, Mike was flawless. I would recommend his company to anyone looking for a DJ for their special event. He truly exceeded my expectations in everyway!

We went with Mike Shroyer (DJ Good Time) and he did an excellent job. They also did the lighting for us and it was really great. We got a gobo as well that I loved on the dance floor. Mike did a great job on the mic and we did not have any technical issues that I was aware of. He did great at getting people on the dance floor and letting guests know what was happening throughout the night. I am so happy with my decision to go with Mike and I think he did an awesome job at our wedding.

DJ Mike of Good Time Entertainmet provided excellent service and took our wedding to the next level. Mike is a professional with many years of experience. I was so lost on what type of music I wanted or even what songs to go with each part of the reception, and Mike knew just the right songs to suggest. We were extremely pleased with Mike at Good Time Entertainment! I was a bit overwhelmed with the process of planning a wedding. I had heard from multiple people that finding a GOOD DJ was one of the most important parts of a wedding. From the very first meeting I knew we had found our DJ and the stress was gone! He was open to anything we wanted and made EVERYTHING we wanted happen! He was extremely professional and had a ton of fun ideas. My biggest fear was that nobody would dance! Mike made sure almost every single person was on that dance floor and dancing away! My biggest piece of advice is although you have a ton of ideas on music LISTEN to your DJ at Good Time they know what there talking about and won't let you down! I am still getting compliments on our DJ and his music selection. In a wedding your being pulled in all sorts of directions and the dance floor is the one place where you all come together to celebrate your new love and commitment and Mike kept the celebration going effortlessly!! My favorite part of the night was being on that dance floor with my new husband! AFFORDABLE, RELIABLE, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! Thank you Good Time Entertainment! We are so happy with our choice!!

There was not one thing that made me stressed on my wedding day! I owe my stress-free day in part to Mike and Good Time Entertainment! Mike provided the DJ service as well as much of the ambiant lighting for our big event, and I truly couldn't have been happier with the outcome. In fact, Mike absolutely went above and beyond my expectations in every respect. Mike was a pleasure to work with. We felt really comfortable with him from the first meeting. Even though we didn't find time to send him a song list we were very impressed with him. The dance floor was full all night and everyone had a great time. I was originally really worried about how dark the barrel room at the winery was but Mike lit it up perfect. We're hoping to find another event that we can use him at soon.

Mike was amazing...he was THE life of the party and kept the whole day going incredibly well. The uplighting and spotlighting that he did for the reception was amazing and had a great touch for the ambiance, as well as the pictures! He got out there with everybody to lead songs, had great music playing and really worked the crowd to get everybody involved. He's truly a master at what he does! I know that people remember 3 things about a wedding...if they had enough to eat...if they had to pay for drinks...and whether or not the DJ was fun. Words don't do justice for how much Mike did for our wedding and without him it just wouldn't have been the fun party that everybody remembers!
