Unreal Food

Good Food catered our wedding in April. They provided amazing service/communication leading up to the event, and are super flexible with what food you're looking to serve. The food itself was delicious; we feel, and many of our guests have said as well, that this was the best food we've ever had at a wedding. We couldn't recommend them enough!

Best wedding food we've had!

We are so happy we chose Good Food Catering for our wedding! The food was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We went with the buffet option and couldn’t be more thrilled with how it turned out—everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented.

Honestly, the appetizers might have been our favorite part! My husband and I actually got to try every single item, which is rare for a wedding day, and everything was so flavorful. The staff made sure we never missed a bite—their lead that day went above and beyond to take care of us. They brought food directly to us and even followed us around making sure we had whatever we needed. It was such a thoughtful touch that didn’t go unnoticed.

We also opted for the late night snack (highly recommend!) and it was a huge hit. People went crazy for the pizza—it was the perfect end-of-night treat and kept the energy going.

If you’re looking for a caterer that not only delivers incredible food but also top-tier service, look no further. Good Food Catering was everything we hoped for and more!

Good food, more like BEST food

GoodFood catering had all our guests talking about the food at our wedding for weeks after. Food was one of the most important things to us when planning our wedding. We have been to many events where the catering is just okay and we really wanted to wow our guests. We had been to a wedding that GoodFood had catered before, so we already knew their food was incredible and memorable. We chose to do the upscale buffet option and I feel like buffets are usually not so great as the food doesn't end up tasting like it did at the small tasting, but let me tell you: GoodFood really nails it. If you are looking for an exceptional menu that comes out perfectly on the day of, GoodFood is the way to go. The hors d'oeuvres were to die for and the bananas foster station for dessert which was a huge hit. Everything was so delicious, they knocked it out of the park. Highly recommend.

5 star catering

We used Good Food for our wedding. Many of our guests including us are very big on good tasty food. Food was delicious and we received many complements on the taste and food presentation. They accommodated all food restrictions of our guests and made some dishes acceptable for them. We are very happy with the service provided and would recommend them to all of those who enjoy tasty food.

Guests Can't Stop Gushing!

Our wedding planner had suggested we go with Good Food Catering and after a tasting appointment my husband and I knew it was a perfect fit for our wedding day.

From Charleston style shrimp and grits to a full mac and cheese bar with short rib offerings, our guests have not stopped talking about how good the food was.

THIS IS NOT YOUR NORMAL WEDDING FOOD! By that I mean it's high quality and you can tell it was prepared with care and love. If I could have another wedding just to have this food again, it would be worth it.

Delicious!

Good Food Catering was such a good decision for our wedding. We had to choose from a list of caterers from our venue and the thing that sold us on this caterer was the cheesy grits, so good! We received compliments from guests during the wedding about how good the food was. They served all our favorite foods and were so accommodating to add in vegetarian dishes for a couple of our guests. The style of food fit our venue perfectly. Delicious food and great to work with - highly recommend!

Food was an important part of the wedding day for my fiancé and I. Thank you to Courtney who helped us create our custom menu from beginning to end! We had some very particular requests, including Mac & Cheese, and the menu ended up perfect for us. Day of the wedding the staff was amazing and food even better.

Top notch service with AMAZING food

Shoutout to Stephanie at Good Food Events + Catering. She worked with my daughter and fiancée to create the most delicious menu for their wedding. I honestly can’t say enough about how delicious ALL the food was. It exceeded expectations. We had issues with rental companies and 2 days before the wedding Stephanie found new rental companies who could deliver everything the couple wanted. Wait staff and bartenders were professional and welcoming. Highly recommend Good Food. They really helped bring it altogether so the wedding was a huge success that reflected the couple’s desired vibe.

Great catering!

Good Food was great! They were super flexible with us because of COVID and we are so thankful for that. The food was great and we are still hearing about how much people loved it! Not just good food, the BEST food

Good Food Catering was by far the best vendor I worked its while planning my wedding. Stephanie was extremely responsive, flexible, and easy going. People could not stop talking about how great the food and service was for our wedding, they still talk about it weeks later. Wedding Reception

We recently used Good Foods for our wedding at Armature Works and we couldn’t be happier! I can’t tell you how many times I have attended a wedding and the food was just blah. That was one thing I did not want for our wedding. From the very beginning, they were awesome to work with and very responsive! Kevin understood exactly what we wanted for our wedding and made our vision come to life. We went with a stations style menu, and it worked out perfectly! Courtney, the event manager who helped with our wedding, was great! The food was DELICIOUS!! We had so many guests compliment the food, especially the shrimp and grits, they are seriously to die for! Thank you Good Foods for helping make our big day so special and delicious!

Absolutely DELICIOUS food and great staff!!

This food is amazing. Our wedding was almost 1 month ago now and people are still raving about the food! Good Food has so many great food options, and the price is right!! We worked with Courtney throughout our planning process and she was so attentive, professional, and fun to work with!! At our tasting we met the chef who was just as nice and soo talented. Good Food went out of their way to accommodate us after a venue change and we could not be more thankful to them for that. Even with traveling farther then originally planned they made it work perfectly and served some of the best food we have ever had. The quality of the food is top notch. My husband runs a restaurant and was very picky when choosing our caterer. They had us with the first bite of food we tried. If you want true good food and a memorable meal I would HIGHLY recommend Good Food Catering.

Medium size wedding caterer perfection!

Good Food catered my daughter’s wedding on October 27, 2018 in Tampa at the Davis Island Garen Club. The couple chose family style dining presentation and passed appetizers. As what likely happens at most weddings, each stage of the day took more time than predicted so the chef had to hold the food for 45 minutes. It was still perfection; grouper, poblano grits and short ribs, sweet potato mash, wonderful salad. Many times food served at large events is not satisfying; it’s there but it doesn’t matter if it’s eaten or not. The food at this wedding checked all the boxes; attractive, warm, comforting, satisfying-5 out of 5 stars from this mother of the bride!

Best experience ever!

Good Food catering did the most amazing job for us!! From the planning to the execution everything was top-notch. Courtney and Ben came to our venue prior to the event and walked through with us making suggestions on how to make things efficient and pleasing to the eye. They shared their expertise in recommending certain things and advising against others. We had a wonderful food tasting experience at their office, where they let us sample most every item we were interested in (other caterers we looked at only wanted to let us taste three items at most). They not only provided the most delicious, excellent food (which our guests are still talking about!), but they also provided signage, floral centerpieces, easels, cigar boxes (we had a Vintage Tampa theme), picture frames, linens, glassware, tables, etc. They also made recommendations on other vendors, who were also amazing. We have five food stations and two bars at our event and all were beautifully executed. Everything was pleasing to the eye and the staff was professional, courteous, and highly-skilled. Courtney (the event planner) and Ben (The Head Chef) were on site for the entire event and were right on top of everything. They left the venue looking just as good as when they arrived, removing any sign that there had even been a party. If you are looking for the most amazing food, the most professional staff, and a company that will truly make your event memorable, please call Good Food right away!!

From the first call, Kevin and his staff were on top of everything. Before getting to their delicious food, it is important to know how responsive and flexible Good Food Company is! There were no worries on our end after we discussed our desires with Kevin (and he had great suggestions from his years of experience).

Now to the food: what you have at your tasting is exactly what you get, and it is delicious. When searching for the right caterer for our wedding of 250+ people, we had many tastings that were what you expect from large caterers (over cooked, greasy, salt-filled, frozen appetizers that they fried). However, Good Food Company tasted home-made and fresh, even for our large wedding! Their food wasn’t ‘typical’ wedding food. Everyone was raving about the food! I would highly suggest visiting Good Food Company for any of your catering needs! Great experience and even better food!

Kevin and the team did an amazing job for our cocktail hour and reception. We had the ability to attend pop-up tastings to sample tons of menu items and our event manager provided tons of ideas and guidance in choosing our menu as well as other vendors. We chose our selections off of the Flavor Gourmet menu which is very budget friendly. Kevin even helped us choose our venue - a good caterer knows all the great spots!! Our guests RAVED about our food, even weeks later. Many said it was the best wedding food they've ever had. We were even lucky enough to take home some leftovers. You will not be disappointed!!

Our upscale lounge reception was an absolute hit thanks to Good Food! Rather than doing a traditional plated dinner, we opted for a cool combination of stations and butler passed signature dishes - and what a hit that was with our guests! The party never stopped as Good Food chefs kept the yumminess constant and GFs amazing servers made sure no one was ever hungry! The creative dishes were tailored to our exact tastes, with a little something for everyone: the evening started out with a beautiful cheese and charcuterie station, followed by small plates of rum-runner bacon wrapped shrimp, tomato tartar, braised short ribs and white cheddar grits, smoked gouda mac n' cheese, southern fried chicken sliders (these were the universal favorite) and so much more! A chip and dip bar was also a huge hit, along with a coffee and tea station that kept our guests fueled for the dance floor! We even decided to do a grand finale dessert station instead of a cake and, again, it was an absolute winner with our guests! We thought our tasting with Good Food was out of this world, but the food that was served at our actual wedding blew even the tasting out of the water! Our guests still are talking about how amazing the food was - and how cool it was that it was always accessible; either by station or via a server - so the party kept going throughout the night! Good Food was prompt, professional and the servers and staff were beyond courteous. Amy, our GF contact, made the entire proposal, booking and planning process a breeze, and made sure our every need was met (and exceeded). The service, quality and presentation simply cannot be beat, and the creativity with which the dishes are prepared is in a class by itself. This is THE caterer for any discernible couple's wedding!

Amazing experience! Kevin and Courtney did an excellent job communicating with me leading up to the wedding. They were super flexible and even prepared vegan and gluten-free meals for guests and vendors. The food was sooo good, even as leftovers days after the wedding (they gave us a couple of trays of the leftover food)! I would recommend Good Food to anyone!

My husband and I got married three weeks ago at the Dali Museum and had Good Food cater the night! We did not regret our decision. I got multiple compliments from guests saying, "we don't expect good food at a wedding but wow this food is awesome." Not only was the food delicious but Amy (the coordinator) was incredible! She made sure that my husband and I actually ate and had drinks constantly. We have no complaints about this company and highly recommend them for your events or wedding!

Best catering company around! We have not stopped hearing comments from our guests about how amazing our wedding food was. We couldn't be more thrilled with the quality of the service as well. The staff was very professional and served everyone quickly. Amy, our event manager, made sure everything ran smoothly. She provided us with appetizers while we were taking photos outside and even brought some to our table too so we got plenty of food. We highly recommend the shrimp + grits shooters as they were definitely the winner of the evening.

Amy the catering manager is amazing - you meet her at this adorable bungalow in Tampa where she discusses your ideal menu that she completely creates and then you sit and eat bite after delicious bite of the most incredible food you will ever eat -

We had quail , lamb , a full raw bar , duck , steak , chicken and even an entire succulent pig . And can’t forget late night pizza ❤️Every single one of my guests commented that it was the best food they have ever had - let alone had at a wedding -

Thanks to Amy for being so accommodating and totally getting our vision - for being amazing on the wedding day when I was overheated and needed pizza :)

Amy + the Good Food team were A DREAM to work with.

We are in the industry here in Boston so we have very high standards and we met with several caterers and no one was nearly as welcoming and as considerate of our needs and wants as they were. She was quick to respond to emails and was able to completely reconfigure the whole menu to fit our unique wants. And when it came to the big day the staff was SO kind to us. The food came out quickly and tasted delicious. We actually had 2 of our guests eat meat for the first time in 10 years because they thought the brisket looked so good.

I wish we could get to work with Amy + team more but I'm glad that the Tampa area has such a gem!

Our guests are STILL talking about our food and telling us it's the best wedding food they've every had! My husband and I were so sad when we finally ran out of the leftovers that Good Food packed up for us. Kevin was so great to work with. He made everything extremely easy and even worked with us to get us the type of service style that we really wanted. Kevin really knows his wedding stuff and was able to give us lots of tips and advice when it came to the set up of our buffet. Even our last guests to get food said their food was hot and delicious! The Good Food service staff was very friendly and helpful! Everything ran perfectly!

Good Food was fantastic to work with. The food was truly amazing and the presentation at the wedding was professional. Both the food and service did not feel like your average 'wedding catering.' It truly was very high quality food and service. The entire process was a breeze and the menu they created for us was unique and special. Good Food Catering was amazing! I used them for my wedding and I would use them for any event I have in the future. In fact, every vendor I worked with asked me about who I was using for catering. When I told them Good Food, they are responded with, "Oh, wow, they are the best caterer in the Tampa Bay Area". I emphatically agree.

Amy was lovely! We had a very specific Southern/Cuban fusion vision and she helped us bring it to life with a cheese grits station to a whole suckling pig marinated in Cuban mojo. Our guests went back for seconds and thirds at the bread pudding station -- our food was the talk of all conversations for weeks.

Also, Amy made sure we had plates of everything and if it got cold (because it is hard to eat at your wedding when everyone wants a quick hug and a chat), she would bring more. She also brought snacks to us while we were finishing up pictures and getting ready for the reception entrance. Seriously, don't pass up this wonderful team!! They are worth every single penny!

Don't look any further. Good Food is THE BEST. We met with and had tastings with a few caterers and were frustrated that we were going to have to settle for chicken Marsala and a boring potato dish. We were so relieved to find Kevin and Amy! Their flexible menu, amazingly delicious choices, and on top of that, their professionalism and responsiveness blew everyone out of the water. They were awesome and our guests couldn't stop raving about the meal! The braised short rib & grits was definitely my favorite - but everyone loved the Mahi, roasted veggies, Mac & cheese - and of course the gelato bar (we aren't big cake eaters!). You won't regret hiring this team!!

Weddings have been notoriously known for serving bad food, which is why my husband and I wanted to see if we could find a cater who not only had amazing food, but great customer service and Good Food Catering has it all. Kevin and Amy were so accommodating and responsive. I had a special request to have a famous dish from back home made and Kevin found a way to make it happen. My husband and I had so many people tell us it was the best wedding food they've ever had. Hands down, the best cater to work with with tje best tasting food in Tampa Bay. Their price is so worth it!

Good Food catered our engagement party at our house for about 55 guests. The experience was fantastic! They prepared fresh food in our kitchen and even though they were in our house, they were completely independent and did everything themselves. When the food was out, everyone kept raving about how GREAT it was. Our guests continued to rave about the food weeks after the party! Not only was the food delicious and exactly what we wanted, our chef, manager, bartender and staff were extremely professional and courteous to our guests. They smiled and went the extra mile, which made our guests feel even better about the time they were having at our party. Their clean-up was perfection and they did not leave a trace behind. Good Food exceeded our expectations and we will definitely use them again in the future! They are not least expensive catering company, but they are a great value and we definitely got everything we paid for along with great lasting memories of our engagement party.

We used Good Food catering for our wedding reception this past Saturday night. I cannot say enough positive things about the level of service we received.
From my initial inquiry on the website to the very last minute of them being at the venue they gave me world class service and 150% effort levels.
The owner, Kevin, was the first to reach out to me after my website inquiry. He contacted me within 1 business day. We had a phone conversation in which he completely understood my vision of the event and what was needed.
After proposal I worked with Amy who was incredibly organized and detailed and took care of everything.
The day of the event they sent two staff members named Kate and Vince. I wish I could express in words how incredible they were.
Now onto the food. We did bistro cocktail style so we had 8 appetizer style foods. The food was absolutely amazing. Every person raved about how delicious everything was.
I can't thank Good Food Catering enough for making our reception absolutely perfect.

Use Good Food catering. That is the best advice I can give any brides-to-be (or anyone needing catering). I tried a few different catering companies first and the food was just plain bad. I started to get nervous...if a catering company produces barely edible chicken at a tasting for just two people and using its own, in-house kitchen, how on earth would it be able to deliver great food to 200 guests? However, the minute I had the first bite of food at my tasting with Good Food, I was completely sold. The food is absolutely fabulous, which is obviously important, but even more than that, Kevin, Joanna and the whole team were a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. Also, their prices were incredibly fair compared to competitors, and once you factor in the quality of the food, it is a no-brainer. I hired Good Food to prepare four passed appetizers along with a plated dinner for 200 guests. They also provided an open bar, passed late night desserts and a coffee bar. Let me just say that their cabernet braised short ribs with mascarpone cheese grits is out of this world, and I could really say the same thing about all the other items on the menu. Honestly, I've heard from a ton of our guests that it was the best wedding food they've ever had, and that is such a great feeling. It is truly a testament to their product. I would 100% recommend Good Food catering to anyone who wants great food and great service at a terrific price.

Good Food Catering was perfect for our big day. Everything the prepared was delicious and memorable. They were willing to come to our remote venue and were a pleasure to work with in the planning stages. They were also flexible while panning and allowed us to tweak the menu until it was just right. And on the day of, they were prompt, professional, and super nice. Even when the rain threatened to wash us away, they took everything in stride and worked with our venue coordinator to make sure everything ran smoothly dispute the weather.

To start off, Kevin and team exceeded all of our expectations. He helped us plan our menu using a combination of amazing dishes his team has served before and helping us create some custom portions of the menu (including adding custom grilled cheeses which were a huge hit). We also appreciated the quality of service and presentation. A team of servers would come out from the kitchen and place each guests plate down at the same time for everyone at a table. Great touch.

We can't believe how many guests have since told us what an amazing meal it was (I think the braised beef short rib topped the list). Thanks for everything Kevin and team.

We were so pleased with our decision to hire Good Food Catering for our wedding day at the Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota. As we started to think about what kind of meal we wanted to offer, it was so important to us that we didn’t just provide standard “wedding food” – rather, we wanted to provide a unique menu that our guests would truly enjoy. After going to several tastings with other potential caterers, only Good Food Catering gave us the “WOW” food factor we were seeking. We immediately knew Good Food was the best match for what we had in mind for our wedding day. We spent a lot of time working with Kevin Lacassin (the Owner of Good Food Catering) to create the perfect station-style (small plate) menu for our wedding day that included a “Steakhouse Experience”, “Quesadilla Creations”, and a “Southern Surf & Turf Grits Bar”. The food was absolutely amazing and we received several compliments from our guests. Kevin was extremely patient and accommodating through the entire process as we made several changes to our menu. Most of all, Kevin and his staff were flexible to a last minute and unexpected rain plan. We would highly recommend Good Food Catering to anyone looking for a unique, affordable and upscale option that your guests will surely enjoy.

Good Food Catering did a remarkable job catering our wedding and I wish I could have them cook for me everyday! One of my favorite parts of the whole wedding was the level of service we were given by Good Food Catering, they made sure our guests were treated to a delicious feast and ensured everyone had a fantastic meal, including the kiddies, vendors, and guests with special dietary requirements. Every request was handled quickly and professionally. Most importantly, the food was SCRUMPTIOUS, I am still dreaming about the delicious crab cakes and flat iron steak - YUM! They made sure our bridal party were given appetizers and kept the drinks flowing.

Throughout the planning process, my Husband's top priority was having phenomenal food, and Good Food delivered, exceeding our expectations in every way possible. Kevin and Joanna were responsive and made excellent recommendations along the way.

Good Food Catering was without a doubt one of the best choices I made when planning my wedding! My father enjoys cooking and was very concerned about the quality of food being served at my wedding. We went through many different catering vendors which seemed to do a lot of generic dishes and whose quality of freshness was usually lacking. We finally came across Good Food Catering and they absolutely blew us away! Everything was prepared that day on site and nothing was ever re-heated- very rare to find in wedding catering. Kevin and his staff at Good Food catering provided a delicious station style menu for our daughters wedding. Kevin made the planning process so easy and what we tasted at the food tasting was as delicious as what all our guests were served months later. Food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Staff was available for all the needs of our guests. We had tons of compliments on the food and I would recommend the station style menu to anyone in the planning process. We never had lines for food like often happens at a buffet table and most people tried everything and went back for seconds on their favorites. There was plenty of food and stations were kept full of fresh delicious food. Cost was very reasonable and also was exactly what was quoted. Nothing extra was added in cost, but they did add little touches on the serving tables to go with our decor and make the presentation more beautiful. Highly recommend them to anyone!

I really don't know where to start with this review....There are so many things I wish to say. Kevin is such a genuine, caring and honest person. I was so touched by the amount of time and concern he gave us. He wanted my daughters wedding to be perfect as if it were the only wedding that mattered.

Our wedding was unique in that the bride and groom and many of the guest were either vegan or vegetarian and then we had our meat lovers. Kevin came up with a menu that pleased everyone, and every option was delectable.

The big night finally arrived and Keven's assistant Joanna was absolutely marvelous she babied myself and the bride and groom throughout the evening ensuring we were well taken care of....

I have received so many compliments about the wedding and especially in regard to the food.
There were many decisions and options that I made throughout the planning process that I second thought or regretted but GOOD FOOD Catering was not one of those....

Best Wedding Caterers in Tampa!!!

Kevin and his team at Good Food Catering were incredible from start to finish!
My wife and I had scheduled our first tasting with Kevin after a few weeks of research among other local caterers and were blown away by the quality of food and menu options as well as the overall value.

We decided to go with their Action Food Stations for our reception so people could eat and socialize at their own pace and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

I had almost everyone interrupt my meal to tell me how awesome their food was and ask what restaurant we had ordered from!

As a groom that believed the highlights of any memorable wedding include three essential ingredients of food, booze, and music, I can say without hesitation that Good Food Catering was the best money we spent for our wedding!

If you're planning a wedding in the Tampa area and haven't met with Kevin and his team, you're seriously missing out!!!

Good Food is AMAZING. My sister used them for her wedding back in 2011 and I just used them for my wedding. They did a great job working with us to create the perfect menu. We had passed appetizers as well as three food stations for dinner at our wedding. They are very creative, professional, and the price is great. I wanted to have a wedding at a venue where I could pick my caterer, that way I was able to use Good Food. On their website and facebook page they have a list of places that they work :)

We loved the food. You know you hired a good caterer when the DJ, photographer, etc get excited because they know they will get Good Food when working your event. Everyone is talking about our mini taco macaroni & cheese lollipop appetizers. Usually I never look forward to wedding food because its usually just bad and cold. I just eat the rolls, appetizers and cake of course. Kevin did three stations for us- A middle eastern, fish & meat and pasta station. The beef tenderloin tips were excellent and could be cut with a butter knife-Yum. The pasta was hot & tasty and the falafel was like my husband likes. It was finally wedding food I could eat and go back for seconds.
My husband is Egyptian and wanted some traditional dishes. Kevin went out of his way to follow two of the family's recipes and the dishes turned out wonderful. He even met us for a taste testing.
And let me just tell you that the service was above and beyond. The waitress for the bride and groom was extremely professional and on top of everything. As weddings go, we had some guests who were late and the staff had food waiting for them. Kevin was awesome to work with and you can tell upon meeting him that he loves what he does.

Kevin and his team at Good Food Catering were AMAZING! We had three action stations for a more social dinner style, and chose the Steakhouse Experience, Florribbean Surf and Turf, and the Gourmet Mac-n-Cheese bar as our menu. We also had several hand-passed hors d'oeuvres including Ahi Tuni and Mini Tacos. My husband and I are really into craft beer, so Kevin helped us choose beer and wine pairings specific to each menu item and even brought them to our menu tasting!

I also have to say how wonderful the chefs and servers were. Kevin's team was friendly, engaging, quick to respond to requests and extremely professional. Everything was made to absolute perfection -- our guests are still raving about it! I would absolutely recommend Good Food Catering!

Everything was just perfect!!! All the guests raved and raved about your food, appetizers, how well the buffet line worked and your friendly service. Of course, I already knew that would be the case. Chris & Megan's comments were that "they would not have changed a thing". Megan also mentioned that alot of their friends rarely eat at weddings and their plates were cleaned.

I got alot of comments from guests that they loved the fact that some of the servers were singing & dancing to their job. A few asked if they were friends because they seemed so happy to be there. Some of the servers helped family pack up after the reception, which wasn't in the contract.

You did an outstanding job. Thanks to all who made it a great experience.

We used Good Food for a buffet reception. The food was served efficiently and hot with tasteful displays. All of our guests raved about the food, especially the tomato caprese shooters, chicken/waffles, steak and macaroni and cheese. They made sure there was always plenty of food and service was efficient and hospitable. Rachael is super easy to work with - very open, flexible, and quick to respond. "This is the best wedding food we have ever tasted" is what I constantly heard throughout the evening, and I must say, I agree!

Working with Rachael was a breeze. From the first time we had a tasting to my last minute additions, everything was executed flawlessly.

We had 3 passed appetizers: mini chicken tacos, mac n cheese lolipops and deviled crab bites. The variety and difference set the tone for what was to follow.

For dinner we decided to go with action stations, because I did not want it to be a stuffy event and I wanted to allow people to mix and mingle.

The 3 stations that we had were: grits and pulled pork, black beans and rice with mojo chicken and a fire and ice station which consisted of caprese stacks and bruschetta with torch blown cheese melted on top.

To end the evening we had a make your own smores bar, which was a great hit.

I would highly recommend them to anyone and if I ever get the pleasure of attending a wedding where they are the caterer I know that I am in for a treat!

Wow-I have been to a lot of weddings and can say that at best, the food is always average. While I may be a little biased, I believe that the food at our wedding was some of the best I have ever had. I am so happy to have met Rachael and learned about Good Food Catering at a bridal show. Good Food cares about the quality of the food -- that's their focus and it shows. Their pricing is very fair and every penny we spent on our catering was worth it. We had four passed appetizers and a duet plated dinner with chicken and the braised short ribs. We wanted an appetizer that was not on their menu and this request was accommodated with pleasure. Our guests loved the food and even a month after the wedding I am still hearing great comments on the dinner. The service was excellent and professional.

I felt like I asked a lot of questions along the way (we booked them nine months before the wedding) and everything was always answered quickly and thoroughly. Our tasting was a great experience as well. If you hire Good Food Catering, you will be at ease knowing your party will have delicious food with excellent service.

Kevin and his team were fantastic! We knew we wanted to use Good Food catering for our wedding because of the great experience we had had at a friends wedding. During our initial phone meeting, Kevin really listened to what we wanted. We wanted to incorporate our "home/comfort foods" to the wedding. With my husband being from Philadelphia and myself from Maryland, Kevin created a personalized passed Hors d'oeuvre menu for us - a Philly cheese-steak pretzel bite, and Maryland crabcakes. Our guest from Philadelphia and Maryland were very impressed!

When going out to dinner, my husband and I always order several different small plates or appetizers so we can try different types of food, so we knew for our reception we did not want to have a plated dinner. We wanted our guest to enjoy different types of food so we decided to use three interactive food stations - tequila shrimp with lobster infused rice, beef tips with mashed potatoes and two types of salads. Everyone raved about how delicious the food tasted and how interactive each station was.

To top the night off, the staff handed out mini grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup shooters and mini bags of french fries - which was a big hit with all of our guest who needed a late night snack after a night full of drinking and dancing.

We highly recommend using Good Food Catering, they have exceeded our expectations. They really listen to what we wanted and helped make our wedding very personable. Kevin was wonderful to work with, he responded quickly to my emails and phone calls and was very professional. Good food catering will not disappoint!!

Good Food Catering did an AMAZING job for our country style wedding! The food was absolutely great and all we heard all night from our guest was that this was the best wedding they had been to! I would definitely recommend them for any event! We enjoyed them so much that we used them for the rehearsal dinner as well!

If you are looking for a caterer that has really tasty food that is presented in a creative and fun way, then Kevin with Good Food Catering is your man! After sampling a few local caterers, we came across the Good Food Catering website and the pictures of unique appetizers and interesting food presentations caught my eye. I emailed Kevin and he responded very quickly saying that we could come by to taste the food. All it took was one bite and we were sold (but we tried everything, of course!) The quality of food by far surpasses the competition and Kevin is so accommodating and fun to work with. My mom wanted to surprise us (last minute) with a huge ice sculpture of Albert (the UF mascot) and Kevin came through and was able to order it through one of his contacts. Everyone at the wedding loved the sculpture, and even more so, raved about the food! If there is one thing I have heard from our guests even a month after the wedding it is how yummy our food was! Good Food Catering also provided a full bar service for our wedding and Kevin worked closely with our wedding planner to come up with the overall layout of our reception. My main concern was being able to have a fun atmosphere and good food that people could eat without having to stand in long lines. Kevin definitely came through and the food station layout worked perfectly! All of the staff were very professional, friendly, and fun, which did not go unnoticed by our guests. Thank you Kevin and everyone at Good Food Catering for making our wedding really special and super delicious!!!

Kevin at Good Food is great! Upbeat and ready to write up your menu to exactly what you want! Not a set this with this and that with that! He helped me plan a great menu, being in the resturaunt business myself, I can be a bit picky. He answered all of my emails very fast and was on top of things. I chose a stationed buffet style with passed around apps at our cocktail hour. Every person at our wedding told us " it was the best food we have ever had at a wedding!" I like his very fresh approach! Nice job for sure! We did suggest to make a togo box of food for the bride and groom as most of the time you don't get a chance to eat!'

Thank you Good Food Catering for the awesome job you did for our wedding especially after a hard week at the RNC. Everyone is still talking about how amazing our food was. Rachael stayed in contact with us from day one when we had our tasting with Anson the chef. We knew we wanted him and no one else with the delicious food he prepared us. The horderves were mac n cheese balls, chicken n waffles, and cuban sandwich cigars. They are all so yummy! We may have to see about getting some in the future because we didn't get enough with all the pictures going on. But the guest loved them!! We did buffet style with 2 lines. They sure didn't run out of food either. There was lots at the end of the night left over. We had Grilled Key West Chicken (with amazing seasoning),Sauteed Beef Tenderloin Tips (no fat at all!), Creamy Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Seasonal Vegtables, and Strawberry Spring Salad (our requested salad).
They knew what we were looking for and that is top of the line food. One of the things people remember from a wedding is the food. So that is why we went with Good Food Catering. Thank you so MUCH!!

Good Food catered our June wedding and I would very highly recommend that anyone use them going forward.... we had an absolutely perfect experience with Kevin and with Good Food!

Kevin and his team were professional at all times and creatively planned a menu for us that was exactly what we were looking for, and that lived up to the Good Food name! Every one of our guests raved about how delicious the food was, from cocktail hour appetizers, to the sit-down dinner, to the fun late night snacks!

Kevin was always enthusiastic and passionate about his work, and took so much pride in making our wedding amazing.... we always knew we wanted to serve our friends and family the very best food at our wedding, and Kevin exceeded our expectations the entire night! Outside of the food though, the service was equally impeccable-- everyone on the Good Food team was professional, courteous, and friendly all night, and made the evening so special. Dinner was timed perfectly so that every table was served very quickly, which our guests appreciated and so did we.

So many of our friends and family continue to tell us that the food at our wedding was the best they've ever had at a wedding, and we couldn't agree more... if you really want to wow your guests at your wedding or event, go with Good Food Catering and you will not be disappointed!

The food and service from Good Food Catering was amazing! From the start we knew we didn't want to do a sit down dinner. We had been to a few weddings that were cocktail style, and we knew that was more our speed.

After my first email exchange with Kevin, I knew he would be able to deliver exactly what we wanted. He has done many cocktail style events, so we know he could pull off delicious appetizers that left you feeling like you ate a meal. He easily accommodated anything we asked, and ensured we tried every dish that would be served at our wedding. The chicken and waffle bites were easily the biggest hit of the night, but the mini grilled cheese with tomato soup shooter and the shrimp and grits station were also raved about. Everything he served was a hit.

His service staff was also amazing and I had many people comment on how nice they were. He also provided linens and bar service, which made the whole process that much easier. He was very familiar with our venue, The Davis Islands Garden Club, and he provided much help to our coordinator, only ensuring a smooth night. He was great to work with and the quality of food and service was unbeatable. Thank you to Kevin and and his staff at Good Food for a fabulous wedding!

I cannot even explain how much I love Kevin and Good Food Catering! They are the absolute best! They made our wedding so stress-free and delicious! They took care of all of the details so that I did not have to worry about them! Kevin was so great with the planning stage, he always listened to us and had great ideas that we loved and he was always to quick to get back to us whenever we had any questions! My friends and family are still raving about how delicious the food was! We had stations (taco, pasta and a grits and beef station) I was nervous about having grits, since I am a northerner and all, but they were so delicious and were the hit of the wedding! Everyone (even the northerners) loved them! We had passed appetizers and they made sure to have a plate of them at our table so that we wouldn't miss out on them during pictures! They even accomodated our strange dessert request (no cake, root beer floats and strawberry shortcake) They even found some Vernor's for me (which is from up north). They were so helpful with every aspect of the wedding, including giving us some advice on stuff that didn't even have to do with the catering! They did the linens as well (another thing I didn't have to worry about) and also set up my centerpieces for me! The tables with the food were also decorated to match my theme! They even helped us tear down at the end of the night! I seriously can't explain how wonderful they all were, and how much they helped make our wedding a success. I recommend them to the highest degree, they are incredibly affordable especially considering all they do for you! Thanks to them we had the most beautiful stress free wedding I ever could have imagined!

Although the weather did not cooperate, Kevin at Good Food Catering provided fantastic, cocktail party style food and stellar service. The food was so good and so fun! And Kevin was so responsive to all of my questions and requests. He was very accommodating, his staff were friendly and professional, and his food is delicious! I will be using him again in the future for my catering needs. He fits my style!

Kevin is the best, there is no discussion needed. I have been to a few events catered by Good Food before, so when it came time to selecting a caterer for my wedding, it was easy because I knew the food would come out great.
Well Kevin does a whole lot more than cook great food. Kevin brought so many creative ideas and energy to the planning process, and what we came up with was unbelievable food, and not just for a wedding.
We had a cocktail hour with seared tuna, crab cakes and his famous fried mac-n-cheese lolipops. For dinner, we had 3 stations, one was cuban roast pork over black beans and rice, we had another with beef tenderloin and mashed potatoes, and to balance it out, we had big shrimp in a tequila cream sauce over lobster rice!
Good Food also did our bar service, which was perfect as well. If you use Good Food Catering, your wedding will be a success and you won't have any worries or complaints. So many guests told us that our wedding food was the best they had ever had.

Kevin with Good Food Catering is amazing! He is 100% willing to work with you to get exactly what you want. He is very personable and you can instantly tell that he has extremely high standards for his food. My now husband and I had a 3 course sit down dinner for 70 guests at our July wedding at the Powel Crosley Estate. Everyone was RAVING about the food! My family likes more gourmet style food and my husband's family likes more country/southern food. With the two different pallets we were concerned about the catering decisions, but Kevin created dishes that delighted everyone! The two guest favorite items were our second course which was a tomato bisque with a mini grilled gouda and cheddar cheese sandwich floating in it and the side dish with the main course, mascarpone cheese grits! Everything was to die for! Also, the wait staff that Kevin employs is extremely professional and did an outstanding job with the three course service. I HIGHLY recommend Good Food Catering to anyone :)

An absolute perfect 10!!! Good Food provided all of the food, liquor and service for our wedding of 150 people. I will start with the food which was totally over the top. We had requested more of a home cooking feel and that is exactly what they were able to provide. As the groom I only wish I was able to attend more of the cocktail hour because that definitely got the party started on the right foot. As we moved into dinner at one point I saw my nephew actually drinking the shrimp and grits right out of the martini glass presentation. I could only laugh because that is exactly what I wanted to do as well. Kevin and his team put together a late night snack of grilled cheese and french fries which was exactly what our crew needed after having a full bar for nearly 7 hours. His team of associates are completely professional, have an amazing attitude and provided spot on service the entire evening. I can't thank Kevin and his team at Good Food Catering nearly enough for the amazing job they performed that more than exceeded any expectations I had for catering service at any price.

I don't even know where to begin with this review. Kevin and team were AMAZING!!! And that's an understatement. After our initial tasting, I knew that Good Food was the perfect caterter for my wedding. I was so excited for my guests to enjoy their food...and they far exceeded my expectations.

Not only was the food perfect, but the service was PERFECT. Everyone commented on how wonderful the food was and how nice all of the servers were.

My appetizers (which they made sure that everyone in the bridal party got some) were the chiptole chicken tacos (HIGHLY RECOMMEND), crab cakes, and Fried Mac N Cheese Lollipops (Huge Hit). The main meal was ceasar salad, tuscan chicken, roasted veggies, and braised short ribs (Melted in your mouth). Everything was sooooo good!!!!!

I highly recommend Kevin and Good Food Catering Company for any event! You will not be disappointed. Thank you Kevin and Team!

When I embarked on my quest to find a caterer for my wedding, all I encountered were cookie cutter caterers. Non-flexibility, unimpressive menus, and no creativity. THEN... Good Food Catering made my wedding day an absolute success. My husband and I had a vision for a very social reception, so we had butler-passed food for the entire event, as opposed to a sit-down dinner. Everyone raved about the food--because it was great! Kevin's ideas are completely unique, and are foods that you do not experience when you have a sit-down dinner. Everyone was completely full and satisfied. Food was passed from the cocktail hour, through the entire reception. The butlers could barely get through the kitchen before they were tackled by guests. Good Food Catering is extremely professional in their appearance and their presentation. They went above and beyond in making sure the event was set up correctly. They arranged our cupcakes on a cupcake tier (the cupcakes were provided by another company, so this wasn't even Good Food's "job"--and they did it anyway). I would absolutely recommend Good Food Catering to anyone for any event. Their prices are great, and I wish Kevin would open a restaurant so that I could eat his cooking all the time. Definitely contact this caterer, no matter your budget, because he will work with you and come up with a unique menu. We also rented linens through Good Food, and everything was perfect! Kevin truly exceeded my expectations and "wow-ed" everyone with the amazing food!

Good Food Catering Company is the "above and beyond" caterer! They were instrumental in making my daughter's wedding reception an event that was enjoyed by all. My daughter's wedding was on 12.11.10 and we were so excited to have Kevin and his staff as our caterer. Our family and friends appreciate great food, presented beautifully, and great service. WOW...My sister kept bragging on Kevin and his staff as she planned my niece's wedding...I kept thinking that her high expectations couldn't possibly be met, but, WOW, was I wrong....Kevin's food and staff and presentation were everything she expected and then some! I live in Dallas, TX, and attend several large charity ball events annually that are catered by extremely talented food artists, and I would put Kevin's work up against that group any time! Our cocktail hour appetizers were each unique and delightful, cleverly presented, and so tasty. (Can you say 'Mac & Cheese LOLLIPOPS'??? ... Fresh Basil/ Mozzarella/ Tomato speared onto tiny olive oil bearing pipettes.... luxurious mini chx tacos ...scrumptious baby crab cakes..........oh, my.) And then there was dinner: The shrimp and grits was melt in your mouth creamy and left a previously grits-averse guest wanting more! The cabernet braised short ribs were beautifully glazed and presented over a perfectly seasoned mashed potato and grilled asparagus. The dishes were served hot by gracious staff. Smiles all around. A very successful event, professional planning and responsiveness leading up to the event, fair pricing, happy guests! Kevin and his team are just the best.

Can't say enough about how much enjoyed the food at our rehearsal dinner! It was a huge hit. Exactly what we wanted. Kevin took the time to listen to what we wanted (which is tough because my husband and I are both "foodies" and have particular tastes) and gave us a killer menu. Everyone loved it!! Your staff was professional and friendly. Kevin brought a staff that was very attentive without being intrusive. Communication was prompt and clear in all aspects. The food presentation was excellent and he has awesome ideas. We met with him only twice in person and he picked up an excellent sense of our personalities and designed a menu around us. We were so very pleased with Good Food Catering from the beginning. The food Kevin prepared for our tasting was by far the best of any of the other food we sampled from other caterers in the Tampa area, making the decision to hire him one of the easiest of the planning process. On that note as well, I had always been concerned that the food in a tasting would be so much better than the food on the day of the event (due to having to prepare such large quantities – we had 135 guests). This is not true with the food Kevin prepared; the food was just as delicious on the day of the wedding as it was the day we tasted it in Kevin's kitchen. Also, this may be a bit of an odd comment, but for anyone out there that this may make a difference – my mother and I are particular about the cleanliness of kitchens and of where we will eat – we had no hesitations whatsoever with eating the food Kevin and his staff prepared.

For our wedding, food was a top priority and we wanted to provide our guests with something that had a southern flair, would appeal to a gourmet palette, and was a little different than the typical wedding fare we've all had time and time again. Kevin worked with us to provide exactly that - we even had my husband's family from up north rave about the Shrimp and Grits, and maybe even more of a compliment my family, from the south, said that they were the best they had ever eaten. Nearly three months later, we are still having guests comment on how unique and delicious the food was at the wedding!

Kevin went above and beyond in helping to coordinate rentals for our venue as well - with it being the Davis Islands Garden Club we brought in EVERYTHING. He was able to assist us with tables, linens, even bartending. Further, Kevin's staff was great - they were professional and courteous throughout the evening, even going so far as to help a guest located a missing piece of jewelry in the grass at night.

I would not hesitate to hire Kevin and Good Food Catering for any event in the future and I have been encouraging anyone who will listen to do the same! Thank you again to Kevin and his staff for providing such delicious food on such an important night!

When we were planning our wedding we contacted so many caterers and were disappointed so many times until we met Kevin. We waited for caterers to get back to us for what seemed like forever only to do a tasting and find that the food was gross. That is until we met Kevin. He called me back from my first email within the hour and spoke to me at length about what i was looking for. He set up a private tasting for me and my husband and the food was fantastic. He only exceeded my expectations when it came to the actual wedding. People raved about the food and are still talking about his butternut squash soup. Good food catering did such an awesome job and We really can't thank you enough. We will gladly use Kevin again for all of our Catering needs. THANKS AGAIN

kevin you are amazing. The food was amazing. i have to say out of the cool things that where in our wedding your food was the one thing i was most excited about. it was the best weddding food i have ever ate in my life. i'm so happy it just so happened to be in my wedding. LOL. after the wedding all of our guest raved about you food and attantion to deatil. the presentation was spectacular as well! thank you so much kevin for doing you part to make it an unforgetable night.
