We just got married in January at Birch Wood Vineyards and DJ Tommy from Get Down Tonight Entertainment was our master of ceremonies. Everyone (and I mean EVERYONE - even my elderly grandparents) absolutely RAVED about how much fun our wedding was and how they can’t believe how packed the dance floor stayed all night long! Tommy was extremely timely, communicative and professional both with all our pre-wedding interactions as well as on the day-of, and not just that, he was FUN! You can absolutely tell that this isn’t just a job for him, he LOVES what he does and as a result, you can’t help but feed off his energy! Aside from a few dinner service song requests and obviously all the ceremony music, we pretty much gave him free reign to play what he wanted during our entire reception and I’m so glad we just let him do what we hired him for because he absolutely NAILED it! Our dance floor never emptied all night long and he played a good mix of genres that everyone knew and enjoyed. I was shocked to see certain family members up dancing all night because as far as I knew, they were never really the dancing type – even our parents were beside themselves and that says something! Tommy also brought with him these awesome foam glow sticks that all our guests LOVED using as props and I can only imagine the amazing photos and videos we will get back now thanks to him adding that little touch! I’ve been to about 13 weddings now before throwing my own and when they say a DJ can make or break the day, it's 100% true. DO NOT SKIMP ON YOUR MUSIC VENDOR! We’ve been guests at quite a few weddings where the reception just never really elevated after the ceremony to feel like a party or celebration which therefore made the reception as a whole pretty unmemorable and at times...boring. We did not want to be one of those people! We wanted all of our guests to walk away wishing the party didn't have to end and to always remember our day for the celebration that it was - so, music was hugely important to my husband and I and I am SO happy and grateful that we chose Tommy and GDTE! He was everything we were hoping for in a DJ and I can see why he comes highly recommended from our venue!Get Down Tonight Entertainment, Inc.'s reply:

Petra Sent on 07/29/2016My husband and I booked Nathan Bishop of Get Down Tonight as our wedding DJ and we were not disappointed! Nathan was extremely responsive during the entire process and so easy to work with. About a month prior to the wedding, he sent me a wedding worksheet via email to fill out before our last meeting. This was super helpful as it allowed us to stay organized when we met, and didn't leave me feeling like I forgot to mention anything. Nathan also put in the extra effort to make sure he had the pronunciation of all the names in the bridal party correct, and to include any songs I felt were special. On the day of, I found myself much more busy than I had anticipated. While I was being pulled left and right by guests/other vendors, Nathan kept the party going and there wasn't a song played that left the dance floor empty. He was there whenever we needed him, and also kept up with the timeline of the night. So many family members and friends came up to me at the end of the night to tell me how great the DJ was. Nathan truly made the reception so fun and memorable, and I will definitely be recommending him as well as the entire company of Get Down Tonight to everyone in the future! -

We had an incredible experience with Ryan as our wedding DJ! From the very beginning, Ryan was easy to work with and provided excellent input, helping us make key decisions about the music and flow of our reception. He communicated with us every step of the way and was always responsive to our questions and ideas. On the day of the wedding, Ryan was the perfect mix of fun and professional—he kept our guests on the dance floor all night long. His attention to detail was impeccable, and thanks to him, we didn’t have to worry about anything. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ to make our special day unforgettable. Nick Kafejelis Jr was a joy to work with and incredibly helpful in keeping us organized around our music needs. He was happy to meet with us a few times before the wedding to help us prepare the music vibes and give us specific recommendations. He was well tuned to our aesthetic and atmosphere, and kept our wedding crowd well-cared for and entertained all night. We chose DJ Russ Sheehan and his son Brandon for our DJs and I couldn't be more thankful we did! From the get go they were easy to talk to, accommodating and had a whole book put together to help us think through various activities and the perfect songs to match. They took into account all our requests and made them work, while also keeping the dance floor packed all night. There were many older relatives that I did not expect to dance at all, tearing up the floor! They suggested things that were extremely helpful such as the amazing lighting set up that went along with the music that just lit up the dance floor, it never felt like it was a salesmen pitch either, they truly were looking out for our best interests and knew it was going to make our tented reception stand out. The highlight truly was Russ and Brandon going above and beyond to find the mother/son dance song the mother of the groom specifically requested. We originally chose a backup as it didn't seem possible to play, but they reached out to another DJ that they had heard had played it before. It was an incredible surprise for the mother of the groom. We got so many compliments, Russ and Brandon made it a night to truly never forget! We had DJ Ryan for our wedding on June 28! He was by far the best DJ we could have asked for. When we met to talk about the wedding he was so kind and listened to everything we asked for. We told him we want everyone on the dance floor at all times, and boy was he successful. I had so many guests tell me how amazing he was. He played the greatest hits and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. He was so easy to work with and truly supported us through the entire wedding day! We hired Victoria from GDT entertainment and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She was vibrant, understood the vibe we were looking for, and was amenable to every request we had. She directed our guests well, played into the crowd and did a phenomenal job keeping the atmosphere exactly how we’d described.

We had the best time with Ryan!!! He was amazing and kept everyone on the dance floor the entire time. He was very personable and made sure to include all the songs my fiancé and I wanted. He also was great on the mic. We met with him a week prior to the wedding over zoom and he went top to bottom over what to expect for the night. I would highly recommend him or Get Down Tonight Entertainment.

Get Down Tonight did an amazing job DJing our April 30th, 2022 wedding. They were so easy to work with and answered all our questions. Ryan Todt did an amazing job guiding us during song selections and throughout the day so that everything was very low stress. We would absolutely recommend them! -

Our DJ for our wedding was Nick Kafejelis. We liked him from the start of the planning process but he kept surpassing our expectations up through the wedding day. He had just the right energy and friendliness to keep the dance floor full throughout the night. when the dance floor got slow and needed more energy, he would jump in and interact with everyone else. He was also very accommodating to any last minute requests we had. After the event was over, we got compliments from every family member on how much they loved our DJ. DJ Russ and Brandon did a great job!! Russ had so many original ideas that made my wedding so fun and the guest enjoyed. From the centerpiece giveaway to the tossing of the bouquet and garter, group photos, and messages, he made it such a memorable night. Russ and Brandon were very nice and personable. My daughter's wedding at Dell-Lea Weddings and Events was absolutely perfect, and one of the key things that made it so memorable was DJ Jillian Mann! From expertly playing the music for the ceremony to teaching even the octogenarian wedding guests how to do the Cupid Shuffle, DJ Jillian Mann did it all! The dinnertime music was great, too; my favorite part was when Jillian sang, providing classy live music to the wonderful event. DJ Jillian Mann was very easy to work with, kind, and fun; it really felt like we had our best friend acting as DJ for the wedding! DJ Nick was absolutely perfect!
He was young, excited for us and threw a great party playlist for our wedding. He may be young but we thought he was perfect for our wedding. He listened to all our wants and desires, he helped us organize some of our timeline and even changed plans on a dime at the wedding when things ran over time. He’s super chill but also professional.
The company itself is extremely helpful and responsive! We also rented a photo booth through them. We had so much fun with it and they customized the prints to our wedding invitation!

We cannot recommend Chad from Get Down Tonight enough. He was so easy to work with and such a delight. From our first meeting we knew Chad was our DJ. He was super well organized and maybe more excited about our wedding than we were. He made it so easy to incorporate our vision and seamlessly was able to add music played and recorded by a family member into the mix. The music from the ceremony to the end of the reception was on point. Chad had our guests vibe down to the bet and we received many high praises from guests, including those that weren't dancing, on his mad skills.
Also have to add that our big day occurred in a major snowstorm for the area and Chad still arrived on time, ready to go. We had almost 20 guests unable to make it and at least 2 vendors that had to cancel or find a substitute but Chad was there and stayed with us right to the bitter end, leaving the night in two feet of snow. If you are looking for a professional DJ that just takes care of business, Chad is your guy. Get Down Tonight in general was great to work with, the rest of the office staff was super friendly and if I had the money I'd hire them to follow me around and play the soundtrack to my life. :DGet Down Tonight Entertainment, Inc.'s reply:
