There are so many DJ and music companies out there to pick for your wedding. When we encountered Get Down Tonight Entertainment, it was a tough decision to choose one of their MANY DJs. We decided on Dave Pekarski...and are SO thrilled that we did!!! We met with Dave on a couple of occasions to discuss our preferences in music, as well as ideas that he had to spice up our evening. Dave was so kind in his suggestions, and truly listened to the ideas we wanted for our reception. Dave's talent and skill had many of our guests up and on the dance floor well before dinner...and there was not one moment where the dance floor was empty!! Get Down Tonight is very professional, and we feel that the value of Dave's work significantly outweighed the cost!!

Our DJ was John Poremba. He was great! We were really looking for someone with experience that would tie everything together and know how to keep a crowd entertained. We had about 75 guests at our wedding, and most of them were family. Our crowd was a bit challenging, but I think John did a good job of trying to get everyone involved and out on the dance floor. John is very friendly and professional. I would recommend John to anyone else looking for a DJ for any event!

After seeing one of Get Down Tonight's djs at two different weddings we knew we had to have him. Rick Bowie is the BEST. He is super upbeat and knows how to read the crowd. WE told him we wanted our wedding to have a nightclub feeling with everyone dancing and that was what we got. Also some of the songs we wanted played for the ceremony were obscure and hard to get but he found them for us. Definitely go with Get Down Tonight.

We hired Chad from GDTN. He was amazing. He helped up pick out all of our music. he really knows what he is talking about. He had the dance floor packed all night long and did a GREAT job. I highly recommend him. Very Professional and just a really nice guy!

Our DJ was Bob Kirby and he was great right from the start. We met with Bob about two weeks before the wedding to go over initial song ideas and the flow of the ceremony and reception. We then had a conference call with Bob less than a week before the wedding to go over the final details and song choices. He spent about an hour and a half on the phone to answer all our questions and put us at ease. The day of the wedding Bob was completely set up well in advance, even with another ceremony immediately before ours. As we were waiting to walk down the aisle, Bob brought over some water to make sure that we were doing ok. This was very nice and shows how he goes above and beyond. We got a lot of great comments on the ceremony music that Bob had suggested. It was an instrumental line-up of todays hot hits. During the reception Bob was very helpful in making sure that everything was going to plan, he must have been an event coordinator at one time. The music never got so loud that guests were unhappy and we were very pleased with Bobs overall work ethic. We even had some of our guests comment on how nice and accomodating he was. I would recommend Bob for anyone's wedding or special event.

Get Down Tonight is easy to work with. John P. was awesome and knew exactly what to play for our guests! We totally trusted him and he did an amazing job! Thank you John!

We watched the two minute video tape online of all the DJ’s and knew Bob Kirby was the one for us. He had amazing energy from the moment we met him all the way through the end of the wedding night. He took his time helping us select music for our ceremony and reception. He even called us a week before the wedding to go over all the information again. He spent so much time with us to make sure we were happy with the final product. We also had some special dedications throughout the wedding which he did a great job including and gave us great suggestions on how to incorporate them into our day.

Our wedding day was so beautiful from the ceremony music all the way through the last dance. Everyone had a great time at the wedding and we got so many compliments on Bob. He made it a fun time for every age group and played a great selection of music. He was so much fun to work with and I really liked how he took the time to come over to us throughout the night just to check in to see how we were doing, and he gave us updates on what was coming up next. He made our wedding day very special and we will always remember what a great job he did and how dedicated he was to making sure we had a great time. We would highly recommend him. We chose Bob Kirby from Get Down Tonight for our DJ and were so extremely happy with our choice. Everyone loved him and people keep asking for his name and company. He played the music we asked for (even the odd requests we made haha) and also picked up on what our guests liked.
It was really nice to go into the Get Down Tonight office and have a room to ourselves to watch clips of the djs and get their prices before making a decision. We highly recommend Bob and Get Down Tonight!!!

We had Tommy Demers of Get Down Tonight DJ our wedding and we couldn't be happier with his services! He was great in the planning phase-- we walked in with only about half our music picked out, and he made us feel comfortable right away, and then after asking a bit about our tastes, he played music for us until we found things we loved.

Some of the music we did pick was a bit obscure, one song in particular was actually a version from a CD that is no longer made, and he found it for us with no trouble at all.

The day of the wedding, he and his assistant were both great! Tommy is charismatic, fun and friendly and he has a mannerism that can (and does) make people get up and dance! He didn't overdo it like a lot of DJ's do.. you can tell he loves what he does, and everyone gets swept up in his great attitude. We couldn't have asked for a better master of ceremonies or DJ!

He also owns Get Down Tonight Entertainment, so I'm positive that anyone from his company would be outstanding-- with the variety he has, you can certainly find a DJ that suits you and your event perfectly.

My experience with Get Down Tonight was not only pleasant but easy. I was so worried about picking the perfect DJ. IT was so relaxing and fun to do. We picked Sean Reardon and had the very best experience. He was so proffesional and courteous and sooo fun! He played everything we wanted and didn't play anything we didn't want. He also got a feel for our music choices and the crowd that we were going to have and was able to make music choices to please everyone!
I absolutely loved it!!! We had such a great time and I rarely left the dance floor.

We booked Nick Kafejelis for our wedding and I'm so glad that we did. We were able to meet with him twice before the wedding and he was very helpful with the suggestion of songs and the order of events. We were also very pleased with the way he conducted the reception. We received compliments about his music selection and his interaction with the crowd the whole night. A DJ can make or break a wedding and Nick definatly helped to make our wedding special.

Our DJ was Jeff Stone. Although he never played some of our requested songs during the reception, he had everyone dancing the whole time. Lots of people have told us they loved the music and it was one of the best weddings they have been to! Get Down Tonight has many DJ's to choose from depending on what you are looking for. We chose Bob Kirby and he was exactly what we were looking for. He is energetic and kept people dancing all night. He will play what you want and is interactive without taking over the party. We received a lot of compliments on Bob and could not have been happier with his service!
