We had Tommy Demers of Get Down Tonight DJ our wedding and we couldn't be happier with his services! He was great in the planning phase-- we walked in with only about half our music picked out, and he made us feel comfortable right away, and then after asking a bit about our tastes, he played music for us until we found things we loved.
Some of the music we did pick was a bit obscure, one song in particular was actually a version from a CD that is no longer made, and he found it for us with no trouble at all.
The day of the wedding, he and his assistant were both great! Tommy is charismatic, fun and friendly and he has a mannerism that can (and does) make people get up and dance! He didn't overdo it like a lot of DJ's do.. you can tell he loves what he does, and everyone gets swept up in his great attitude. We couldn't have asked for a better master of ceremonies or DJ!
He also owns Get Down Tonight Entertainment, so I'm positive that anyone from his company would be outstanding-- with the variety he has, you can certainly find a DJ that suits you and your event perfectly.

My experience with Get Down Tonight was not only pleasant but easy. I was so worried about picking the perfect DJ. IT was so relaxing and fun to do. We picked Sean Reardon and had the very best experience. He was so proffesional and courteous and sooo fun! He played everything we wanted and didn't play anything we didn't want. He also got a feel for our music choices and the crowd that we were going to have and was able to make music choices to please everyone!
I absolutely loved it!!! We had such a great time and I rarely left the dance floor.

Unbelievable service! Russ helped to keep everyone on the dance floor the whole night long. He was fun to work with and made sure that he had all of the music that we wanted to hear. He was so much fun and had creative ideas to make everyone laugh. Thank you!

We booked Nick Kafejelis for our wedding and I'm so glad that we did. We were able to meet with him twice before the wedding and he was very helpful with the suggestion of songs and the order of events. We were also very pleased with the way he conducted the reception. We received compliments about his music selection and his interaction with the crowd the whole night. A DJ can make or break a wedding and Nick definatly helped to make our wedding special.

Our DJ was Jeff Stone. Although he never played some of our requested songs during the reception, he had everyone dancing the whole time. Lots of people have told us they loved the music and it was one of the best weddings they have been to! If you are looking for a DJ who doesn't think the whole reception is about him, then check out Jeff Stone.

Get Down Tonight has many DJ's to choose from depending on what you are looking for. We chose Bob Kirby and he was exactly what we were looking for. He is energetic and kept people dancing all night. He will play what you want and is interactive without taking over the party. We received a lot of compliments on Bob and could not have been happier with his service!

My DJ from Get Down Tonight Entertainment was John Poremba. He was absolutely amazing. He not only played all of the songs that I requested to be played, he even nailed our extremely difficult introduction song request. He was fun, full of energy and got everyone on the dance floor! He even played a few very fun games which got everyone involved. I would completely recommend John Poremba from Get Down Tonight to anyone who is looking to have a great time at their wedding reception!

We booked Bob Kirby from get down tonight entertainment. He was great to work with and very enthusiastic about our wedding!He worked with us in creating our unique ceremony music to what we wanted to hear played during the reception. Everyone at our wedding had a blast especially the Bride!!!

Absolutely amazing!!!! They have DJs in all price ranges that are highly qualified. You can view videos of the DJs in action too! We chose Chad Ardizzoni!! He was brilliant!! He was so friendly and such a pleasure to work with. He has an awesome personality and I had so many friends and family members telling me how awesome he is. My cousin is getting married soon and asked me for his information!! He knows what he is doing and I highly recommend Chad (and Get Down Tonight) to everyone!

We went with Shaun Yelle and he was just amazing! He did everything we asked and worked so closely with us to make sure that no detail was left out. 110% reccomend this vendor! He had people dancing that I NEVER thought I'd see up on the dance floor. He had us dancing, singing, and full of energy the entire 5 hours!

We had Gary Stevens and he got everyone up to do some fun things during the wedding, he was fun and proffessional and we had a great time, he played all the music we requested plus additional music that he thought we would like, and we did.

I had seen Shaun Yelle from Get Down Tonight because we had seen him at a friends wedding, we watched the videos from the company and decided to go with him on account of his "flexibility" and also that he was ok with me giving him a list of what I wanted and what I didn't want. My husband and I sat with Shaun in his home for about 2 hours with an excel spreedsheet laying out EXACTLY what we wanted and when. I pointed out what was the most special to us and then he could do what he wanted for the rest of the time. Shaun messed up my entrance to the ceremony song, he messed up our exit song from the ceremony, pronounced my name (the bride) all night long and was told over and over by guest how to pronounce it, finally all our guest would yell back at him when he said it wrong. He messed up the garter dance song, our cutting the cake song, missed two special dedications that were discussed prior to the wedding and had NO current music for request from the guest. He also went out of his way to sign my photo in the largest writting and then asked for final payment in front of our guests. I called the office on Monday when we returned with no call back two weeks later. Unfortunately for them I had 6 brides to be at that wedding and they have all heard about how unhappy we were with them! I know they won't use them and it's not like I am asking for money back, all I wanted was a written or verbal apology as all the DJ needed to do was follow a list. PS. This DJ likes to dance during weddings which we said ABSOLUTELY NOT and he did any way our guests did not like that at all!!!! I don't suggest this company at all. I had no complaints about any other vendor, even though my flowers weren't the way I had planned, the food needed to be changed last minute and so on. Things happen and you can't get upset about them but I would have been better off with an ipod!

We had Tommy Demers, the owner of Get Down Tonight Entertainment, Inc. and he was amazing! Although he cost a little more than some of his associates he was worth it. The music for the reception was very important to us both and so we wanted "the best." I do feel that is what we got. The only item, flexibility, I rated 4 out of 5 because to meet with him was hard as he is very busy, but we soon figured out why he was so busy...everyone wanted him at thier own weddings! Our best man will be married about a year after our wedding, but they liked our DJ so much they have already booked him.
