Loved the way the Gaupers plan ahead and keep everything running on schedule. And the photo quality is fantastic, both as they take the photos & then as they edit them later on.
Ryan and Holly did our engagement pictures as well as our wedding photography. We found them to be incredibly professional and they fit in so well with our wedding party. We had so much fun with them and they did a great job to make us feel comfortable in front of the cameras. I have not seen another wedding photographers end product come even close to the quality of the Gaupers. They are very creative and have a very unique look to their pictures. I couldn’t be happier with our photos and highly recommend the Gaupers!
The Gaupers were one of the BEST decisions we made regarding our wedding! They had planned out ahead of time all these incredible locations, and taking photos was so much fun. They went above and beyond to get amazing photos, even staying late at our reception because everything was a little behind schedule. We're so happy with our photos; we've had so many people tell us our wedding photos were the best they've ever seen. Definitely worth every cent we paid!
We loved GauperPhoto!! Ryan & Holly were so fun to work with! They worked so hard on our wedding day to make sure they got pictures of everything & ran pretty much from the start of the day, until the late hours of the night. My husband & I knew we were in great hands with them & never had to worry about the quality of the pictures we would receive. And they surely did NOT dissapoint when we received our proofs!! We have gotten SO many compliments on our photos...They are truely unique & capture the most important parts of our wedding day! Overall, we have LOVED working with Ryan & Holly!! They are the best :)
What a FUN session I had with this couple.. They are the most artistic photographers I have ever worked with! You get just what you want in a professional timely manner. the photos were awesome~ I have many friends getting married and will highly recommend them to all of them..
Ryan and Holly are absolutely filled with talent. If you're looking for wedding photos that will leave your friends and family absolutely in awe, then this is the duo for you. They offer so many advantages in wedding photography, one of which is being a married couple themselves. It's so wonderful to have Holly photographing the girls getting ready and Ryan with the guys during the big day. They are able to capture every moment perfectly and when they bring your wedding party together, you will be proud to show off the beautiful and unique moments that they shoot with your friends and family.

Ryan and Holly were absolutely amazing! Their photography style is what drew us to them. They had a very unique sense of style (which I loved) and only wanted to find the most unique places to take pictures. We didn't want traditional photos. We wanted something completely different and that's what we received! We couldn't have asked for more. They were very flexible and totally worked with us through-out our engagement making sure things were set and helping me especially, to not be stressed out during the final few weeks. They definitely made things happen and our pictures turned out awesome! We've gotten SO many compliments on our photography it's great! I have nothing but good things to say about them! Ryan and Holly did an awesome job for our wedding. They were able to catch the personality and atmosphere of our wedding. Whenever I see someone who couldnt make it, the pictures do absolute justice! I would highly recommend them to anyone. Turn around time on the pictures was much quicker then we researched at other places. You wont regret using them.
Ryan & Holly are an absolutely amazing team!! They are so fun & upbeat, they really made time fly when my fiance & I worked with them for our engagement session! We are not used to being in front of the camera, but they made us feel so at ease! They were able to turn our 'awkwardness' into fun & laughter, which ultimately turned into an amazing photo session. They talked & joked with us throughout our whole day & really made us fall in love with not only our pictures, but them as a couple. We loved our pictures! Going into wedding planning I didn't think I would want to spend much on pictures or an album. After meeting Ryan and Holly and seeing the quality of their work, we booked them were more than pleased. After we saw our pictures we definitley wanted an album and so many of our friends and family were so impressed! Ryan showed up to our rehearsal to get a feel for the venue and the ceremony which we did not expect - that was great! We told Ryan to come by on wedding day after the bridal party was finished with hair and makeup as we were worried about missing out on pictures later in the party. They went out of their way to find out where we were getting makeup done and came by early anyway without shaving any time off of the end of the night. I was so glad they did because we got some great shots from them! I was amazed at how many candid shots they were able to get because at the wedding and reception it was like we didn't even know they were there!! My husband and I are truly happy with our wedding pictures and reccommend them to everyone we talk to that needs a photographer.
Holly and Ryan are professional, flexible, creative and fun. They have a talent for capturing great moments, and will do a mix of traditional and photojournalistic shots. I found out about RyanRichardPhoto/GauperPhoto only a month before my wedding, and I'm really glad I they were able to shoot our wedding; I love my wedding pictures!
I was really impressed with they way they managed to get so many great pictures in some pretty challenging photographic conditions. My husband and I got married on one of those raining, dreary, slushy, muddy, Michigan winter days. In our outdoor pictures, though, the weather just looks magical and beautiful--I was actually happy about the rain later because everything was so unique (really, I was!). Also, our church had some difficult lighting, but you wouldn't know it from the pictures. The lighting edits were excellent. The ceremony shots are all beautiful. To top it off, we had our reception in a black box theatre-so it was a very dark place with crazy lighting, but the pictures from that venue turned out great as well. For the traditional shots, they listened to me when I told them what I thought was important, and they also directed us with their own creative suggestions.
We have so many pictures to choose from, and lots of creative edits. I would recommend RRphoto/Gauperphoto highly.
Ryan and Holly make a great team and are wonderful to work with. They are really good at catching the "in the moment" pictures and are very flexible. It rained all day at our wedding so they offered us a bride a groom shoot after the honeymoon.
The previous comment was before i had to wait two and a half months to get my wedding pictures. Ryan had plenty of excuses of why he was late getting them to me. After looking at the pictures they did take I am extremely disappointed. We had over 1000 edited pictures, which was really nice. And they look like they belong in a magazine but they are not what anyone would want their wedding pictures of. Holly spent more time taking pictures of the hair dryer at and other detail shots while my bridesmaids were getting ready rather than the bridesmaids themselves. I have 2 pictures of me and all my brides maids.... you heard it 2! And both of those are with bad camera lenses that NO ONE would want in an album. I have much more to say, but i think you get the idea. Keep looking, don't risk this couple ruining your pictures like they did mine.

I'm a little befuddled about the unsatisfactory review besides the fact that we under-estimated the turnaround time which was admittedly our fault. (Holly was sick for 3 weeks straight) We took 10 weeks to get them back the proofs, which if you have done your research is about industry standard in the first place.
Anyway, I am not sure where the disappointment is coming from. We can only work with what we are given. It rained all day and I really tried to do my best but when we arent able to go anywhere but a porch outside the reception area you can imagine how it would be hard to do more then 2 bridal party shots. We were willing to go out in the rain but like I said we can only work with what we are given freedom over. I had to take them with a fisheye because we only had about 6 feet to work with. I'm sorry but I still don't know what I could have done better. I felt bad that we couldn't do a bride and groom session like we usually do so we did a session another day. So they ended up getting more bride and groom images then anyone has ever gotten. Not to mention some of the best we have ever done.
The weird part of this whole thing is that we got some of our favorite images from this wedding... I'm sorry for whatever we didn't do but I honestly wouldn't do it any other way.

We love Holly and Ryan! They have great style and are fun to work with. They did such a wonderful job taking our wedding photos! We hired them 2 days before our wedding, because our other photographer fell through. We were super impressed with their flexibility and their willingness to come to the rehearsal/shoot our wedding on such short notice. Thank you Holly and Ryan for our images! They are memories that will last a lifetime!
Ryan and Holly exceeded our expectations! They were very helpful and flexable. When ever I had questions they got back to me right away. They are a lot of fun to work with and I appreciated thier creativity. The quality of the photos are phenominal!
