  Very Talented & Personable!!

  Gary is amazing!! He was our photographer for our wedding on 10/9/2020 and he was so accommodating and flexible with all of the changing plans (with the pandemic changing rules seemingly every day). Gary has an amazing artistic vision and he took so many incredible photos from the fantastic candid shots to the perfectly framed staged pictures. Gary was also such a calming influence, helping me (the bride) get ready with a crochet hook in his handy bag of items he brings ‘just in case’. He also made sure we were on time at all of the places we needed to be so that we could get all of the pictures we wanted without delaying the ceremony or reception. We highly recommend Gary to anybody in need of a photographer, he really takes the time to get to know his clients which will help you relax and thus ensure you end up with some magical photos.

  Worked with Gary this past weekend, he was everywhere covering every angle of the event. A true artist. It’s easy to see how much he loves what he does. Great to work with, can not wait till next time!

  Absolutely Amazing!

  I cannot say enough good things about Gary! To start with, we did our engagement shoot with Gary. It was a great way for him to get to know my husband and I before the wedding day. He was open to doing anything we wanted and gave the BEST suggestions for our favorite shots. Now that engagement shoot was so much fun but he blew us out of the water for the wedding day. From the moment he started the day with us it was non stop for him! From taking individual shoots and making both of us feel beautiful/ handsome to organizing our rather large wedding party for the bridal party shoots, he was on top of it! He was on the dance floor with us capturing so many amazing moments!
  For the absolute best pictures and best experience, Gary Nevitt Photography is the one to go with!

  WE LOVED HAVING GARY FOR OUR PHOTOGRAPHER! After seeing all of Gary's beautiful photos for other weddings, as well as meeting with him, we knew he was the one vendor after booking that we didn't need to worry about - and that held true on our wedding day! Gary and his second photographer Allie Bennett were amazing. They showed up on time, and not only were extremely professional, but also had this great energy about them that made having them a part of your day a true pleasure!
  
  At the wedding preparations, they took this great journalistic approach, catching all the special moments as they unfolded as well as capturing photos of the all the details. There were a few special photos that I wanted, and they made sure to take a quick moment to squeeze them in without holding us up. At the ceremony, I honestly can't say I even remember them being there, but know they were by the amazing photos they took! They knew how to be in the right place without being in the way. After the ceremony, we had let them know some key family that we needed to get photos with and Gary worked like a well oiled machine to quickly get all the combinations with ease, making sure not to miss one person. But where he really shined was when all the family photos were done. Gary worked with us to capture some absolutely stunning photos of just us enjoying our first moments as Mr. & Mrs. that we'll cherish forever!
  
  Not only was he fun to work with, he also made us feel fabulous, telling us how fun our wedding was, and how taking photos of us was so easy! These little touches show he connects with his clients and really cares about how they are enjoying their wedding beyond his job as a photographer. There was no question that the success of our day was just as important to him as it was to us. We highly recommend him, and could not imagine anyone else being a part of our day!

  I cannot say enough about Gary's work. To sum: he's professional, responsive, affordable, and produces excellent work.
  
  Gary shot our January 2016 wedding in the Riviera Maya section of Quintana Roo, Mexico on the Yucatan (right outside of Cancun). We were blessed to have perfect weather the day before the wedding and Gary's (and his great assistant Allison's) first assignment was to shoot the beachside cocktail party. This came with a fair share of challenges as it was certainly on the darker side and I'm sure was difficult to shoot, but this made no difference in the outcome of the pictures. He certainly is a great technical photographer. But more than this is the amount of detail that was captured in the photos. He is a photographer with a very keen eye for what makes a moment special. Gary didn't seem to miss anything - the times that people saw each other and were reunited, moments caught when one reflects at the beauty of the landscape, the energy of children, etc....
  
  On day 2, Gary shot the wedding ceremony and the clouds came in right after. He was forced to get creative as he knew that we were crunched for time before it started pouring and wanted to make sure that they took advantage of the surreal backdrop. The pictures speak for themselves (WOW, check them out - "Laura and Jeff" on Gary's blog). What impressed me is that Gary went out of his way to get the shots, he was assertive (but NEVER, EVER aggressive) and made very sensible, creative suggestions. After the rain came in, we shot the rest indoors and it was clear that he knew that he had vision for the shots. We can't say this enough, we were impressed with Gary's attention to detail.
  
  Last, this is a person that you want to hang around. He's funny, energetic, flexible, and patient. All the things that we needed! Gary edited the final photos in a very timely manner and got them to us before we expected. Highly Recommended!

  Gary was the absolute BEST. He's so nice--a real joy to be around--and a total professional. We had a Halloween wedding, and I didn't want zillions of posed photos that looked too formal for the fun setting. The fam squeezed a bunch out of us, but what I really wanted Gary to focus on were the candid, spontaneous shots. The wedding night itself keeps you busy--circling the people, dancing 'til your feet ache, occasionally hiding from everyone--so I had no idea what to expect from the photos; I'd really stopped paying attention to when they were being taken. There were so many lovely surprises--dozens of photos that I ADORE of our friends & family having a blast. Without hesitation, I would recommend Gary 1,000 times over.

  My husband and I had Gary Nevitt for our Fall wedding. He was professional, knowledgeable of Philadelphia and thorough the day of the wedding and leading up to it. Our family is a little complex but he made sure to fully understand the members and took all necessary shots the day of the wedding. He brought another fantastic shooting assistant with him that day (Blonnie). Extremely artistic and fun to shoot with for the staged shots. For the ceremony and reception, they were unobtrusive (in a good way! I didn't want to have to walk around photographers when walking down the aisle!) - but whenever something important was happening and needed to be photographically documented, they were there! Gary is a phenomenal photographer and I highly recommend him!! We cannot wait to see the photos - based on the teasers, we are in for some memorable photos. Photography was one of the wedding sections I was willing to splurge on - a good photographer is SO important on the big day. And we are so happy we went with Gary (and that he was available!!)

  Gary is AMAZING!!!!! He just did our wedding at the Sofitel on 9/6. His creativity is truly a work of art. We did an engagement session with him a few months ago to get a feel for him and taking pictures. My now husband was a bit reluctant to do it, but Gary assured him he would end up enjoying it! And he did! He has given us a few snippets of pics from our wedding and they are absolutely stunning! We can't wait to get the rest! Trust me, you want gary there capturing your special day!!!!

  First of all, Gary is amazing at what he does. His pictures are amazing and make you want to look at them over and over again. His passion for his work is extremely evident. It is easy to see that he loves what he does. He was such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. He was easy to get in touch with and was very helpful answering any and all questions we had. When it came time to work with him at our engagement session and then, wedding, we had such a blast. He made us feel so comfortable and he was really fun to work with. It really felt like we were working with a friend. He cared about every aspect of our wedding and I feel very lucky that we had him as our photographer.

  Gary is an AMAZING photographer with a keen eye for details. I researched months to try and find the perfect photographer as this was something that was important to both my husband and I. We wanted something natural but also pictures that had some flair to them. I wanted to say “Wow! That’s an amazing picture or that is such a cool picture.” And Gary did not disappoint. Our pictures are some of the most amazing pieces of work we've ever seen. Yes, we look like us, but seriously, they are magazine worthy. One of my friends said one of the pictures should be on the cover of the Vogue Wedding issue. While I found Gary on my own, looking at reviews such as this one, I would recommend Gary to anyone looking for a photographer for their special event. My family loved Gary and his secondary shooter (Laura Caporizzo). They were professional and a lot of fun. They captured everything at our wedding that was important to us and our guests absolutely adored them. Gary has a way to be in the moment of everything yet not be in the way, if that makes sense, ha. He was incredibly fun to work with and made standing outside in 30 degree weather totally worth it. We got married in March and I told Gary that I would do outdoor pictures if he would. I can tell you that at one point he was on the ground getting an amazing upward shot with the sun in the background. It’s been about a month and a half since our wedding and Gary has continued to remain in communication with us. I’m still in awe of everything. Please check out Gary’s blog and website and reach out to him. Again, he’s an incredible photographer and you won’t be disappointed.

  From our first meeting to the day of our wedding, Gary was amazing to work with! He was flexible with his pricing and answered any concerns/questions we had. I wanted a photographer with some artistic edge but still used the natural surroundings to bring the photo to life. He made the best out of our engagement session after the location I wanted to do it in-- was closed that day. I was bummed but he took the surroundings and turned all of our photographs into moments of art that truly embodied the interaction my husband and I share. We received nothing but compliments on them and at our wedding...people thought he was one of the guests (until they saw the camera of course lol). He joked with everyone and even got my brother to smile for a few shots. Our wedding pictures came out just as beautiful as our E-session. He had an assistant working with him that day so we could get a 360 shot of all our guests and special moments. GARY YOU ROCK! --Lauren and Thomas Olsen

  I am not thrilled about having my picture taken, and I definitely don't like to pose for pictures. I also didn't want to miss ANY of my wedding reception. Needless to say, I did not make things easy for Gary. He's either the most understanding photographer in the world or a great actor, because he made me feel like I was completely reasonable and easy to work with! We had a non-traditional wedding party, and Gary was able to capture all the key people I wanted to have in the posed pictures, plus a very largest family picture with cousins, aunts, uncles etc. He also got some great pictures of my husband and I in various settings capturing the beautiful, historical architecture of Philadelphia. The best part, he did this in the 30 minutes of allotted time I gave him. I told you I wasn't easy to work with. Having been in 14 weddings not including my own, I know how photographers can be cheesy and pushy.

  Gary was my photographer for our wedding. He was AMAZING! From our first conversation on the phone, I knew he was going to be perfect. He is professional, fun, and so talented! My husband and I are super awkward in front of a camera and Gary made it less awkward and even fun. We had a great e-session in Philly and an even more amazing time at the wedding. Our bridal party was slightly huge :T but Gary learned all of their names! Super impressive. The pictures and ideas he had for our photos were fabulous. My hubby and I are so so happy we had Gary apart of our day. He and his assistant made it so much better! Thank you guys for all of the gorgeous pictures and the forever memories :)

  My wedding was everything I'd dreamed of, ESPECIALLY the photography. I could not have been happier with the way my pictures came out. Everyone who saw the "first glance" photos wanted his name and number for their events. We won't choose any other photographer for our future events!

  My husband Tim and I were thrilled with our choice of Gary Nevitt Photography for our June 2013 wedding. Gary had photographed our friends' wedding and we were impressed with the way he directed the bridal party and his photos were our favorite among all of our friends' weddings. We planned our wedding at the Glen Foerd Mansion, a grand and gorgeous 1850s mansion on the Delaware river, and needed someone who could not only handle our bridal party and families, but we wanted someone who could really capture the beauty of our venue. Gary and his assistant Laura were incredible and were so kind to our guests and family, particularly my 92 year old grandmother and my husband's 2 year old nephew and 5 year old niece. Our families, bridal party, and guests all commented on how pleasant, kind, and patient Gary was. I could tell he loved our venue as much as we did and his enthusiasm for our day added to our overall wonderful experience of our wedding. We were thrilled with our photos when we got them and have enjoyed sharing them with family and friends over the past few months. We surprised both sets of parents with albums at Christmas and they couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the photos are, and how much they enjoyed meeting and working with Gary. We couldn't have asked for more for our big day!

He really takes pride and time into getting to know his clients and understanding them as individuals and as a couple. You feel completely at ease with him, and know that what he will capture is amazing. So many of my bridesmaids (who have been bridesmaids several times before me) said how easy he was to work, and how he remembered everyone's name! (I had 11 bridesmaids!). It's the little details like that that really make Gary stand out from the rest. If you want spectacular pictures and the feeling like you're having a friend there to shoot your wedding photos on your big day, you want to work with Gary. Hand's down, he's the best!

We had also used Gary's services for some family pictures with three generations, and they looked fabulous. He is extremely easy to work with, very responsive to questions and requests, and fun to be around. Highly recommend.

  Gary is the best!!! He makes everyone feel comfortable and really makes picture taking fun, especially with kids! He was our wedding photographer and is still taking our photos 9 years and 4 kids later! His work is amazing!
