Wedding Flowers

Garden of Life Flowers created the stunning floral design for our recent wedding at Geneva On the Lake, thanks to a family member's recommendation. Yvonne listened carefully to our ideas and provided expert suggestions, crafting a floral arrangement that perfectly matched our decor and theme. Yvonne is your woman!!

I would rehire Garden of Life in a heartbeat. I worked exclusively with Yvonne and she was informative, communicative, hardworking, and SWEET. I heard horror stories from other brides like me who had a wedding scheduled during the pandemic, but Yvonne was the only one of my vendors to reach out to me during the pandemic and couldn’t have made rescheduling my wedding any easier. She’s talented, experienced and knows her flowers! Garden of life was a true pleasure to work with!

Literally insanely amazing flowers

I literally told Yvonne to "make the flowers look fall-y" and they were so beautiful, people wouldn't stop talking about them all night. She literally made us look like an anthropologie shoot. Let these people work their magic. They are insanely talented. Cannot recommend more!

The best florist!

I cannot say enough good things about Garden of Life! Working with Yvonne was such a pleasure, she made everything so easy and was so helpful. I knew what kind of look I wanted for my wedding, but had no clue how to make it happen.
After meeting with Yvonne and showing her a few photos she was able to immediately suggest what she thought would look best, as well as give her input on what would go well together and also give suggestions on how to stay in budget!
Come wedding day my flowers were beyond perfect! I had sent her one photo I had used as inspiration and she absolutely nailed it!!!! I truly cannot say enough good things about Garden of Life my flowers were one of my favorite parts of my wedding they were so beautiful.

Garden of Life Flowers are heaven sent!

I can't say enough about working with Yvonne and Dick of Garden of Life Flowers! Yvonne is so lovely and so sweet and so knowledgable about all things flowers and greenery! Over the course of the year, I worked with Yvonne over various calls (as I was on the west coast planning from 3000 miles away!) Yvonne made every call special and it was such a pleasure to get to know her and Dick a little bit as we plotted through planning our flowers. She went out of her way and spent alot of extra time to make sure we got what we wanted and came in on budget. And on the day- oh my! Everything was so beautiful! I loved the way the colors and arrangements came together. I will never forget my beautiful bridal bouquet. I would recommend Garden of Life Flowers a thousand times over!

One of the best parts of my wedding!!!!

We cannot say enough great things about Yvonne and dick at garden of life . They were so hard working and attentive - they were incredibly kind and met with me several times to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. I cried when I saw the flowers on my wedding day - they were more beautiful than I could have imagined. The flowers were by far one of my favorite parts of the wedding day (how often does a bride say that?) I cannot recommend them enough !!!!!

Yvonne and Dick were absolutely wonderful, I cannot sing their praises enough. They listened to all of my concerns, wants and needs and provided exceptional customer service. The flowers were beautiful and everything i wanted. Delivery was timely and they waited for me to arrive to see if there was anything else that they could do. Book them for your wedding, you will not be disappointed. Personal touches and just great people!

Yvonne went well above and beyond with the flowers and boutonnieres for my wedding this past weekend. I had asked for a colorful, fresh-looking bouquet, and not only did I get exactly what I asked for, the colors and varieties of flowers were stunning! Further, Yvonne took extra effort to find hops to create the boutonnieres, since we were getting married at a brewery in front of their hop farm. I highly recommend using Garden of Life Flowers for your wedding!

I can not describe in words how unbelievably happy and satisfied we were to work with Yvonne and Dick of Garden of Life Flowers. Yvonne went above and beyond in every aspect of working with her for my daughter's wedding. Her attention to detail, understanding of the vision, and beautiful arrangements, surpassed our expectations in every way. I lost track of how many times we heard...."these are the most beautiful flowers we have ever seen at a wedding". Every detail was perfectly executed as we had planned out with many visits to see Yvonne. She was always happy to field any and all questions and concerns. Garden of Life Flowers did a wonderful job on my wedding in May. The flowers were absolutely stunning and were above and beyond what I expected. Prior to the big day, Yvonne and I spoke numerous times to ensure that she knew exactly what we wanted. In addition, after the flowers came in, she ensured that both the flowers and the colors were correct. Garden of Life's attention to detail is what sets them apart from other vendors. Only having 2 people working in the shop amazes me since they are so on top of things. I would definitely recommend Garden of Life Flowers to other brides and anyone looking for flowers.

I had the best experience working with Yvonne! She knows her flowers and she knows how to make a look work within your budget. I came to her with a dozen pictures or so of what we were looking for and she took that and created something unique for us and our wedding party. She followed up with us multiple times ensuring that we were happy with her flower selections based on our colors and design. When I wasn't sure exactly what I was looking for she sent me a number of suggestions to look at online and pick from. Then when it came to the day of we had a long time between when we were taking pictures and when the ceremony was and Yvonne went above and beyond for us, delivering the wedding party flowers early and then returning again to deliver the ceremony flowers. We cant thank her enough for everything she did and would highly recommend her and her services for any one looking for flower arrangements.

There are note enough words or stars to thank Yvonne, she went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. She created absolutely gorgeous arrangements from centerpieces to bouquets to boutonnieres & corsages to ceremony arrangements for our wedding day. She even stayed to ensure all the guys were pinned. At our first meeting I showed her a few pictures for inspiration/ideas and what she created was better than I could have dreamed. She made flowers the easiest part of wedding planning. Each time I talked with Yvonne, she made me feel like I was her only bride and always knew who I was and what we were planning to do for our wedding. She was respective of our budget and offered suggestions on how to help keep prices down. Thank you for helping make our wedding day absolutely perfect.

She treats everyone like they are family trying her best to work within your budget but still giving you the wedding of your dreams. I am so happy she was my florist. She was a dream to work with and I would highly recommend her to anyone for any event!!!! The reviews are true. I called Yvonne to ask about my wedding date, but she was all booked up for the weekend and she spent SO much time on the phone trying to help me find someone who could help me create the look I was going for. Then I asked her if she would just do my bouquet since its such a big part of the pictures she said of course! Then one of the flowers was out of season and she worked so hard to find a replacement flower! The bouquet LOOKED JUST LIKE THE PICTURE I sent her! My wedding day was so crazy I barely got to enjoy my bouquet, but the day after I was like Whoa this is amazing!! I just wished it could have stayed that way forever. She won't disappoint you!

Yvonne was a true professional every step of the way. We live in California , and her communication during the year long planning was excellent. She met me at the venue at least three times before the wedding weekend and was always available by phone or email. My daughter had a distinct vision for this wedding- rustic while classy- whites and shades of greens and greys- I had a background in flowers- and Yvonne worked with us both- up until the day- to be sure that our flowers were exactly what we wanted. Wait until you see the professional photos! And all of our guests commented on the flowers at the ceremony and then at reception- she was also so receptive to "recycling" flowers from the ceremony to the reception at the marvelous "#Crispin Hill" in Penn Yan. I cannot even begin to express the absolute quality that bursts from Garden of Life Flowers. Yvonne worked with me for over a year and a half while I was living 500 miles from the venue for my wedding. She took every phone call at all hours of the day and would stay on with me as long as we needed to get every detail right. She did EVERYTHING exactly how I described to her with professionalism and kindness. My bouquet was the most gorgeous bouquet I have ever seen in my life and was complimented by so many of my guests. She was SO reasonable and above all an extremely wonderful person. Look absolutely no further as she is your girl! Thank you Yvonne!

We loved our flowers from Garden of Life! Yvonne is a pleasure to work with. I showed a picture of my vision and she made it come true. When deciding on flowers Yvonne had a selection to choose from in all my colors and I was able to pick and choose. She did a great job of letting us decide and provided her advice when needed. I HIGHLY recommend Yvonne MacMillan and Garden of Life Flowers. She is superb!! Yvonne did all the floral arrangements, corsages, boutineers, bouquets and vase flowers for my daughter's wedding on 7/9/16 held at the Norton Chapel at Keuka College and reception at Esperanza Mansion. We had a large wedding party---9 attendants---and approximately 180 guests. The bouquets were absolutely beautiful----my daughter's was stunning----more importantly, she was SO easy and generous with her time and expertise. She explained everything so well, had wonderful and creative ideas, found great substitutions for flowers that were not readily available, could work with any budget, always returned calls, kept us informed, was prompt at every meeting and for delivery and setup. The floral arrangements on the many tables at Esperanza were just stunning---we wanted a pale pink and ivory palette and when we first entered the reception ballroom, the tables were just like something out of a magazine.She used varying heights of candelabras and compotes. The arrangements were plentiful, perfect and symmetrical combinations of flowers and greens, every table was perfect! I wanted the mantle to be simple but beautiful. She had several low vases with large ivory hydrangeas and lined the edges of the mantle with baby's breath---it was just a stunning focal point. I would recommend her to anyone and anyone is welcomed to contact me for further information-----I promise that Yvonne will not disappoint!!!

I can't say enough nice things about Yvonne and Garden of Life Flowers. We had our wedding at Esperanza Mansion in July 2015 and Yvonne was the best vendor I worked with for my wedding. She was very responsive to calls and emails and worked with me to create beautiful bouquets and centerpieces. She made sure we worked within my budget and had tons of suggestions and ideas. She spent so much time and effort on my wedding and made sure everything went smoothly on our actual wedding day. My wedding flowers were beyond beautiful and I could not have been happier with the outcome of working with Garden of Life Flowers. Yvonne was also very reasonable compared to other places I looked into in the area. I would highly recommend her to anyone having a wedding around Keuka Lake.

I can't stress enough what a fantastic job Yvonne did for us.

My wife and I had a very particular vision for our wedding centerpieces and bouquets. We were actually working with a different vendor that wasn't getting us close to that vision, so we shifted gears to Yvonne at the last minute (based on a recommendation).

Boy was that the right move! With just a couple weeks until the big day, Yvonne was able to provide us with EXACTLY what we wanted and at a considerably better price. We also had a variety of guests tell us that the arrangements were the most beautiful they had seen.

Definitely go with Yvonne if you want your vision to become a reality.

My wedding flowers were stunning and I received so many compliments on them. Yvonne listened to my vision for the day and made it a reality, exceeding every expectation. Yvonne's prices are reasonable and she made several suggestions for ways I could still get the look and feel that I wanted at a lower price. She went above and beyond in every way - she even stayed on at the church to help me arrange my train before I walked down the aisle! I could not have asked for anything more. I ordered bouquets and boutonnieres from Yvonne at Garden of Life. I went in with no idea what I wanted but "white and green, no wildflowers." She pulled a number of options and went through them all with me patiently until we had a selection I loved. The flowers looked beautiful and held up well through my wedding day. She even threw in a toss bouquet at no additional cost. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and would recommend her to any brides in the area.

Yvonne was so easy to work with on what I was looking for, my budget, the size of bouquets I wanted, ribbon color, etc. There was no doubt in my mind that the flowers we were getting were going to be anything but perfect!! The day of the wedding, I couldn't be more happier, the flowers were gorgeous, delivered on time in vases and baskets easy to carry and they smelled amazing!!!

I contacted Garden of Life Flowers when I was planning my wedding from out of state as they came highly recommended from my venue and now I understand why. Not only were they incredibly responsive, flexible, and friendly but my flowers blew my expectations out of the water. From my bouquet to my center pieces everything was beyond what I had pictured and I couldn't have been happier. They worked with me to stay within my budget while still giving me outstanding service and flowers. They were perfect and I recommended them to anyone!

I cannot say enough about Yvonne and her Garden of Life flower business. Yvonne was warm--like family--and I knew she was right for me the day I met her. I drove out to her gorgeous farmhouse in the country and she really got to know me and what I was looking for. I was totally unprepared and she was so patient. She spent about 2 or 3 hours with me after a long day and didn't rush me at all. As it got closer to my wedding, we spoke on the phone several times for finishing touches and additions. She sent me a more than fair budget and cut out extra cost for things I didn't need or things she could substitute for us. She was very flexible and honest. When it came time for the wedding, a few days before we spoke and she was so excited about the quality of the flowers--when I saw them (and her style of arrangements) I could not believe how gorgeous they were! The arrangement and bouquets were right out of a bridal magazine--gorgeous. I could not recommend her more. She was sweet, on time, and very talented. You will not go wrong choosing her for your big day! The flowers she arrived with made my whole wedding complete and extra beautiful. I would gladly--and look forward to--using her services again.

Yvonne did such an incredible job not only arranging all the flowers for my wedding, but also obtaining the look I wanted in a price range I could afford. Her assistant terry was present at the wedding and did a fabulous job coordinating with the venue and making sure the wedding party was where they needed to be when they needed to be there. No complaints here.! I'd recommend Yvonne a million times over!

These flowers were absolutely gorgeous! I showed Yvonne a picture of what I wanted for the bridesmaids and she did an awesome job. I gave them a challenge with my flowers as I gave them a scanned picture from my grandparents wedding from 1948. It wasn't the greatest quality but between Yvonne and Dick they did a superb job! I was in tears when I saw them. They are so easy to work with and I would highly recommend them for any event!

Wonderful people to work with! Very good about getting back to your questions quickly. Our wedding day flowers were beautiful! They did all of our flower needs and EVERYONE was complimenting their work the whole night. Very fair prices as well. HIGHLY recommend Garden of Life Florist!

Yvonne was amazing and so easy to work with! She is flexible and willing to go the extra mile to make your floral dreams come true! She worked with me until I was able to really love my floral option but also worked with me to make modifications until it was within my budget. She is so affordable compared to big flower shops. She is number one on my list of wedding flower vendors!

I highly suggest providing a color swatch sample if you want your flowers to match as close as possible to the rest of your wedding.

Garden of Life Flowers provided beautiful flowers for our daughters wedding. Yvonne really listened to what my daughter was looking for and was able to make her vision a reality and she did it all at a very affordable price. We met with her for our consultation and presented her with photos that appealed to us and talked about the venue. She gave us suggestions and presented budget friendly options. A last minute weather issue forced a planned outdoor ceremony to be held indoors and Yvonne did a fabulous job of making the space look incredible. We were very fortunate to have chosen Garden of Life Flowers as our vendor.

Our experience with Garden Of Life Flowers was excellent! Yvonne was very knowledgeable and helped us to choose flowers that were perfect for the occasion. Her suggestions were very helpful, and she was very mindful and considerate of our budget. She went above and beyond the call of duty by rushing to the rescue when we discovered that we needed another centerpiece for an extra table at the reception. Garden of Life Flowers was so easy to work with. Yvonne has such a wealth of knowledge about flowers and helped my ideas become a reality. She was willing to travel and set up everything flawlessly-I was able to trust her completely and I am so glad I could. I am in no way well verses when it comes to flowers but Yvonne took all of my suggestions and made the flowers for my wedding more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! She was wonderful to work with, truly an artist and a lovely person as well! If you want your day to be perfect, go with her. I would recommend her above all else!

Yvonne was by far the nicest person I worked with in planning my wedding. She was totally open to discussing options to meet a budget even if it meant making suggestions of how not to use her. The flowers I got from her were beautiful and exactly what I wanted. They fit into my wedding perfectly. I didn't live near by and we communicated using pictures and on the phone to figure out what flowers to use. I know nothing about flowers and she was patient and made suggestions and let me look them up while we were on the phone. She was very knowledgeable and was able to make little changes to make the corsages work on light clothing and be very durable. I can't say enough about her skill and her customer service!!

Yvonne was absolutely wonderful. The Garden of Life helped me craft my vision into reality with poignant advice and knowledge about flower durability and size, creative arrangements and impromptu adjustments to make our wedding venue a floral beauty. Her work was diligent, creative and timely. Not only were the flowers and service more than I could ask for, Yvonne was personally involved throughout the process and made it feel so warm. Her added touch is certainly what made it all so smooth.
You won't find a better florist or a bigger value for your money in the area than at Garden of Life.

Yvonne and Richard were great to work with. The flowers were just beautiful and just as I wanted. They delivered the wedding arch, flowers, and plants to our location and set everything up. Our wedding was held at the end of a pier overlooking a lake. They went the extra mile to secure everything so the wind would not blow it all away. I would highly recommend Garden of Life Flowers!

Yvonne was wonderful to work with, from the first time I sat down with her to talk about what kind of flowers we wanted for our wedding, to the "Big Day", she was helpful, friendly, and professional. Yvonne was wonderful. She helped me every step of the way from finding flowers during the winter months that would fit not only with our "Winter Garden" theme and colors, but fit into our budget. She answered all my questions, took the number of phone calls I had into her, and on the day of the wedding she went out of her way to make sure that everything was perfect. I absolutely LOVED working with Yvonne (and her cat, Leo). Yvonne did an absolutely amazing job listening to what I wanted and providing me with alternate ways of meeting my wishes. Yvonne is truly an amazing florist. The quality of her work on our wedding flowers was impeccable. We got tons of compliments about our flowers. The arrangements were interesting, dynamic and exactly what I asked for. We planned most of the wedding from Houston with one or two trips to Penn Yan. She was always available to meet with me even during weird time while I was on trips home. She allowed us to be as involved in the process as we wanted to be and was very transparent with pricing. She truly gave us the individualized attention we wanted. We meet with a few other florists from Geneva and Rochester and none of them gave us the same level of attention. She even called a few days before the wedding when our flowers came in because she was concerned the red roses were darker than I wanted. She had time to order brighter ones if I wanted her to so I came over to the shop to see them for myself. You can tell she truly cares about making your wedding day special.

I was late in deciding to use a florist for our ceremony flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages). I was also very cheap. In addition to being incredibly friendly and personable, Yvonne never batted an eyelash at my constant insistence for 'whatever is more economical.' We had some really specific requests, which she was able to accommodate without issue. (My fiance wanted the Maryland state flower in his boutonniere, and I wanted lavender and pink roses...somehow she even made them look good together!) Despite having two weddings that day, Garden of Life arranged to have the flowers delivered to our ceremony site, which was a huge help. Kudos and thank you!

Yvonne was so sweet and helpful during the entire wedding planning experience. She worked with what I wanted while making it fit into my budget. Very nice woman, and very helpful with advice and suggesting other vendors to use in the area. Also very flexible with what she can do for you, and meeting your needs within your budget.

On the negatives, she was a little slow at getting an official quote to you, (ok, a lot slow), but she books fast and is very busy, and they were beautiful bouquets when it was all said and done.

Garden of Life provided all of the floral needs for my wedding ceremony and reception. They were reasonably priced and worked with us to make sure that we had everything we needed. There was some confusion on the day of the wedding as to what we ordered or didn't order, but they were able to fix it quickly so that there was no noticeable difference in the decor. Nice couple and family run business.

Working with Yvonne was a a pleasant experience. The only issue I had was the day of the wedding she was not available before the ceremony, she came by once we arrived at the chapel and when we needed her assistance we were unable to find her.
