    We had a wonderful experience using the Smith-Muse house.

    I am from out of town and needed to have a rehearsal dinner for my son and his bride to be in Frisco were the wedding was being held. They were using the church at the Frisco Hertiage Center which also have these wonderful historical houses available. We used Smith-Muse house. It was beautiful and accommodated all our needs and so convenient. Brenda was professional and very sweet. She helped us from corresponding through emails to being there at 10:30pm helping us clean up. Thanks Frisco your event facility and staff are Amazing!

    Excellent Wedding or Special Event Venue

    We wanted a place that could offer indoor areas for both the wedding and reception for our daughter's wedding. The chapel is lovely and was perfect for the wedding, the house next to it was used as the bridal suite, and we used the train depot for the reception. There are plenty of hotels in the area for guests and restaurants for catering and locations for the rehearsal dinner. Brenda was extremely helpful. She answered questions, made suggestions, was very responsive, and was an enormous help at both the rehearsal and the wedding. The only thing I would change would be the lack of refrigerators. It would be nice if they put a small refrigerator in the house (dorm/hotel room size would be fine) to be able to have cold drinks without bringing a cooler. It would also be nice to have a regular refrigerator in the bar service area in the train depot. (There is a refrigerator in the kitchen, but it is not convenient for the bar.) Our family felt the Frisco Heritage Canter was the perfect place for the wedding and reception and would be ideal for a lot of special occasions.

    Great venue

    The venue is a beautiful place to get married, and I loved that it needed very little decoration or that the venue provided some decoration we could use at a small cost. It was perfect for our needs. I also liked that the cost was on the reasonable side.

    Wedding Ceremony and Reception

    Wonderfully beautiful venue for our daughter’s wedding. The Chapel is very nicely done with spectacular stain glass windows, pews, and the perfect atmosphere. We utilized the Victorian house next door for the Bride’s entourage to use pre-ceremony and it was spacious and ideal for the wedding party to do last minute touch-ups. The grounds offer diverse and beautiful locations for photographic opportunities and is spacious enough to have it to yourself. The reception hall was wonderful in its uniqueness and has multiple rooms to hold different aspects of your reception from a small gathering to a large party.
    Brenda Tighe was our contact for the facility and her expertise really impressed us. She was readily available to lend her experience to assure we had the perfect wedding. Without her help we could not have done this as successful as she was able to. Overall, this experience was fantastic and we recommend this to everyone.

    Imperfect Perfection

    Frisco Heritage Center was the perfection to our imperfect day. Brenda made our wedding amazing! She has been there to walk through the process with us hand in hand to make sure our day went perfectly. We had some hiccups through no fault of the venue or Brenda, but our day was wonderful. The venue was perfect with it's quaint feel and definitely hit the nail on the head with our rustic country theme. The depot is absolutely beautiful...the chapel is breathtaking and the Crozier House is absolutely adorable! The venue was definitely the icing on the wedding cake for the beginning of our happily ever after!

    Fantastic Location!

    Our daughter Hope was married at Frisco Heritage & we couldn't be more pleased with the location. Brenda Tighe, the coordinator for the venue, was wonderful to work with. She was available by text, email, phone and met us for an additional walk thru. The location has so many possibilities for whatever you can come up with to decorate for your wedding. I highly recommend using Frisco heritage as your wedding venue.

    Beautiful Venue Located in Downtown Frisco

    I had a unique situation - I moved my daughters wedding 3 weeks before the event. Brenda called me within an hour of contacting her on a Saturday. She met me the same day a few hours later and was very helpful from start to finish. She gave me her number so if I ever had any questions, and I did, she would quickly answer me. She has been doing this for quite a few years and has all the answers as well as a lot of contacts that she can recommend. Brenda even directed the wedding for us and it flowed perfectly. Located right in the middle of downtown Frisco, you step back in time with a block of historic buildings but all have been updated with modern conveniences. A beautiful quaint church that holds 120 and needs no decoration - it was perfect! The Train Depot is just a couple buildings down from the church was great for the reception. Great blue tooth sound systems in both the church and depot - you can run music from your phone. Convenient parking right across from the venues. So many great options for photos inside and out. We brought in our own food and drinks and hired our own people to serve or you can bring in a caterer. Close lodging options - one hotel even offered a free shuttle to and from the event - that was great (ask Brenda). I would definitely book again!

    My husband and I were married at Frisco Heritage Center in June of 2018. We can't thank Brenda enough for making our day so memorable. The venue and grounds are well-maintained and the Depot is gorgeous. We were even able to take a few photos in the old school house on site. The backdrop of the Heritage Center helped make our wedding a day we will never forget. Thank you again!

    I loved this venue! I always wanted to get married in a church and this 100 year old church was perfect!
    I was very blessed to be able to have our Pastor come to perform our ceremony. The reception was at the Frisco Train Museum so that made it very unique.
    Brenda was my coordinator that the Frisco Heritage Center provided for us. Brenda was invaluable to making everything come together. She was very helpful with answering and responding to all of my phone calls and emails. If I wasn’t able to reach Brenda then I was able to speak with Joni who was very helpful as well.
    The Frisco Heritage Center is beautiful and will provide much class to your wedding .
    I would highly recommend this venue!

    We had a surprise birthday party for my wife here and could not be more happy. The management team was very accommodating with the things we needed and everything was in place / happened on time and without any type of worry.
    We will definitely use them when we plan our next party.

    I wish I could’ve given 6 stars! Brenda was amazing to say the least. Super helpful, very friendly and an all around joy to be around. When my boneheaded brothers started getting rowdy she helped me reel them in so that we could all focus on the rehearsal. I’m a bit stubborn at times but Brenda is the most patient and kindest person I’ve met. You can count yourself lucky if you get Brenda to tend to your wedding and/or reception needs. Right before the ceremony I got nervous and forgot when and where I needed to go. She helped me through it. Thank you so much Brenda for everything. I’m glad we chose you and Frisco Heritage Center for our wedding and ceremony. You helped us created a fun and memorable wedding. Thanks again for everything.

    This is a REALLY great venue at an AMAZING price. Brenda went above and beyond to make sure that Andy and I had the wedding of our dreams, and I will be forever grateful. I love the charm of this place, and I especially liked that I was able to hold my entire wedding in one place. The chapel reminds me of an old chapel from a movie and the Depot, where the reception was held, provided the perfect rustic feel that I was going for. I can't say enough great things. I definitely recommend this venue.

    Working with Brenda was very easy! She was always available when we had questions whether it was email, phone or text. The venue was the perfect setting for our Casual Country Wedding! Highly recommended!

    Beautiful venue! :) Our guests of around 50 enjoyed the wedding. We luved the convenience of the wedding service and reception in the same area. The reception was at the Depot and we used an amazing decorater BJ’s Event Planning & Decorating. I highly recommend this venue & best of all you will be working w amazing wedding coordinators, Joni and Brenda. Please check this venue out, you will

    We had 50th vow renewal and reception. They helped so much with ideas vendors and ideas. Helped whenever we had a problem, so easy to work with and give imput to solve issues. Beautiful chapel and grounds and to have reception at same location!

    Loved working with the Frisco Heritage Center. They are all nice and wonderful. Very easy to work with and are willing to fit within your schedule for meetings, emails, and calls. Would highly recommend. Venue is very clean and the up keep us impectiable. Love them!

    Everything was beautiful and Joni and Brenda were wonderful to work with. You could call them anytime with questions. We used BJ's Event and Wedding planning and I could not have asked for a more beautiful, well organized, perfect wedding day.     Joni, was professional and helpful. She was very quick to help and respond to questions. The wedding was beautiful in the quaint depot with specialty lighting added, for an extra romantic touch.

    My daughter and her fiancée fell in love with the chapel the moment they saw it. With it's beautiful stained glass windows, original wooden pews and tin roof, we knew it would be the perfect place for the vintage themed wedding we were planning. We also fell in love with the historic Crozier House and gazebo on the grounds, and they made excellent spots for photographs on the day of the wedding. Joni and Brenda were great at answering all our questions and guiding us through the planning process. My daughter's wedding was a same-sex wedding, and both Joni and Brenda were wonderful and made both the brides feel welcome and comfortable. The girls really wanted to have a church wedding, and your lovely chapel
    was the perfect setting for their dream day. Only negative was other people on the grounds trying to take pictures while the brides were doing their first look and photographs.
    Will highly recommend the chapel and Frisco Heritage Center to all our friends and associates.

    It was the perfect place for our rustic wedding it was exactly what we were looking for. They were very helpful and flexible. We would recommend them to anyone. We used the depot and it was very large for all of our guest and we used a room just for food. It was perfect. Outside was perfect for pictures.

    We had both the ceremony and reception (60 people) in the Depot. Brenda was a great help and was a pleasure to work with. Everything flowed very well and they were very accommodating. The only issue we had was with the parking- since it is city parking, every photographer and several Babe's customers parked near the venue. It would be nice to have "Event only" parking.

    Great value, beautiful location, clean, comfortable. I would definitely recommend!

    Where to begin......the venue stands alone all on its own. It is not only beautiful but adaptable for any occasion. Our wedding guests and ourselves absolutely loved everything about it. We worked with Brenda, who was not only professional but simply amazing. She very quickly and patiently responded to all of my questions concerning our upcoming wedding. It turned out better than I could have ever hoped for. We highly recommend this venue and Brenda as well, you can't go wrong!

    We rented the chapel for the wedding and the Depot for the reception. It was easy to do and convenient since they are on the same property, We loved the chapel because it was simple but very lovely and can seat at least 200 guests (by my own estimation). The Depot is spacious and has enough room for many tables. The guests that came were very impressed with it, as were we. I like the overall look of it with all the wood and high ceiling. There is plenty of room for a caterer to set up. Joni M. was my wedding coordinator and she is just the best! Very quick to answer all your questions and explains things very well. It was a pleasure to have her help us with all the wedding planning and especially on the day of the wedding when I (mother of the bride) was freaking out! She also returned my deposit on the Depot reception hall is under a weeks time. I was very satisfied with this venue.

    This is a beautiful venue and the price is fantastic. The staff who maintain the property for the City of Frisco are very friendly and helpful. Everything ran smoothly. The only draw back is that the location is free to the public so there are a lot of people walking the grounds taking pictures. If you can handle that, then I highly recommend this location for your next wedding or event.

    Our wedding venue had to change at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. The Heritage was available and more than accommodating to our party. The facility they provided was beautiful and perfect. They also had a staff member there to help us run rehearsal and be there at the wedding to ensure a smooth wedding. This was a great experience!

    Our wedding at the Frisco Heritage Center turned out beautifully. Jodi was extremely helpful leading up to the wedding and provided answers to all my questions. It was awesome being able to set up completely the night before the wedding and not have to worry about it the day of. All of our wedding guests loved the venue. This venue is perfect for couples that have an eye for DIY and really want to customize the space.

    Our wedding ceremony was held at the Frisco Heritage Center white chapel and our reception at the Frisco Heritage Museum. The chapel is absolutely beautiful and the Museum was the perfect venue for guests to mingle, listen to some really good music and have a nice dinner.

    Joni at the Heritage Center was great to work with. She was very responsive and a huge help in pulling together our special day.

    We would recommend the chapel and the museum to other couples looking to have an intimate ceremony and a reception in a very unique setting.

    Thank you to everyone at the Frisco Heritage Center. Our wedding was perfect!!!

    Brenda and Joni were great. We didn't see much of them but you wouldn't have known that. My beautiful wife and I have been married for over a month now and I'm enjoying the rain on this wonderful Sunday sitting next to my wife watching a movie with the kiddos and their cousin. Not like you needed to know that, lol. But, anyways, it was a hit. Music, tables, seating, lighting, square ft., stained glass windows, wood look of the reception depot. Loved it. Can't wait for our 10 year anniversary, let's do it again!

    I love this venue! It was perfect for our small wedding. Brenda was awesome and was quick to answer any question we had. All our guests thought the chapel was stunning and the Crozier House was so quaint and cute. I love the historical charm. 5 stars all the way!!

    We had our wedding at Frisco Heritage Center on October 2, 2014. The venue is beautiful and it was great having everything in one place. Joni and Brenda were very helpful and easy to work with. Our day went perfectly, even with a nice afternoon thunderstorm. We are so happy that we chose this venue and would definitely recommend it.

    We had our wedding at the Frisco Heritage Center on May 31. It's the most beautiful location with an amazing chapel that has tin ceilings, wood floors and original pews. It's incredible. I can't imaging having our wedding at any other location. Joni and Brenda were really great to work with. Joni was my main contact and she was the most responsive of any of my vendors. I loved working with them and would fully recommend this location to any future bride! You'll also love how great your pictures will look :)!!

    Our daughter was 2 years old when we moved to Frisco, TX. The minute she saw Frisco Heritage Center, she knew she wanted to be married there. On the day of her wedding, June 20th 2014, we used 3 of the 4 buildings. The ladies in the bridal party had makeup and hair done in the Crozier house, the ceremony and reception both took place in the Depot and the cocktail hour in the Smith-Muse house.

    Brenda Tighe pulled through for us at every turn. One weekend, she helped us get a needed measurement so we could continue working on a project. She managed to secure a new ceiling treatment that met our greatest hopes and just in time for the big day. We were able to decorate for the cocktail hour a day ahead, making the actual wedding day far less stressful. The bride and groom had pictures taken in every available location, including the school house. They even took a walk to the Snow Cone Lady.

    From beginning to end, Frisco Heritage Center and Staff helped make the event everything we had hoped and dreamed it would be.

    I could not have been happier with the Frisco Heritage Center. I wanted something affordable, with a clean space that could be decorated to my tastes and that allowed us to choose our own food vendors. The Frisco Heritage Center fit all those needs. The space was easy for our out of town guests to find and the size was perfect for a small (we had around 80 guests) wedding. And having a space to get ready, the chapel, and the reception area all in the same location was ideal.

    Fantastic facility and great folks to work with if you planning a wedding. We rented the church, house and Depot and it was the best decision ever. Our guests were able to come and enjoy the event in a single location.

    Joni and Brenda did an awesome job helping us make our wedding and reception perfect. The Frisco Heritage Center is the perfect venue for a rustic and fun party! These ladies were on top of their game and made sure we had everything we needed. They acted as our "wedding planners" on several occasions and we could not have been happier!     We knew when we first went to Frisco Heritage that the venue was perfect for our horse loving daughter and her fiance...from start to finish Brenda and Joni were easy to work with and went above and beyond to make the day all that the kids dreamed of. When I saw emotions on Brenda's face during and after the wedding, I realized that not only had they been great to work with, they were also personally "attached" to making the ceremony and reception a special day for all. For a smaller, more personal wedding, the Chapel and Depot are an excellent choice!

    I can't say enough about the Frisco Heritage Center and their staff. Joni was not only professional and completely accommodating to us, but she was also just an overall joy to be around. She stepped in to help when we needed it, and was hands-off when we didn't. Prior to the wedding, she was prompt in getting back to me with questions as well as giving advice when asked. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

    We loved having our wedding and reception at the Heritage center. Brenda was great. She responded to emails texts and calls promptly. She was easy to work with and is very knowledgable about her venue. The church is beautiful, reminds me of the old churches at home. Simple and beautiful, the chapel doesn't need much decorating. The Crozier-House is an amazing place to get your bridals and wedding pictures. Also a great place to get ready before the wedding. Our reception was at The Depot, and we have no complaints. I would highly recommend the Frisco Heritage Center.

    Awesome Venue.It was perfect for what I like to call our Little Country Classy Sweet-N-Sassy Wedding=) Our guest are still talking about how fun it was and how they loved everything. The church is beautiful and we really enjoyed decorating the Train depot. We also rented the hanging strand lights in the Depot and WOW...it really added to the charm and made it a little more romantic. Joni is amazing..she was so kind and helpful to us. Thank you Joni for putting up with us=) I HIGHLY recommend this venue.

    This venue was my wedding dream come true. Brenda, the site coordinator bent over backwards to make sure my day was perfect. I used all 4 buildings they have available to rent. All were very clean, cute, and above my expectations. I searched long and hard to find the perfect place that wasn't overpriced or that didn't require me to use their terrible vendors and caterers. I HIGHLY recommend anyone who is looking for a wedding venue to at least make an appointment with Brenda and let her show you how awesome they are. I wouldn't have changed a single thing about the space!

    I was very impressed with the staff at Frisco Heritage Center! They always promptly responded to my inquires and gave me their cell numbers in case anything came up. The customer service was just outstanding - as a bride I appreciated their flexibility, availability and pleasant attitudes. I would DEFINITELY recommend them for any event! They are very professional and helped give us input at the Rehearsal (we were not really sure what to do). There are so many venues out there but quality staff are hard to come by and these ladies really went above and beyond to help us out whenever they could.

    Brenda and Joni were amazing. The venue was more than we expected at the price we paid. Joni was there to help every step of the way, and there to calm me down when it got a little stressful with the planning. Joni helped out in many ways on the day of the wedding and helped it run smoother, and even fixed a small hiccup that we had. The Venue was beautiful, and put the perfect touch on our wedding with its beautiful design.

    The Frisco Heritage Center is a great place to have your wedding if you are looking for that vintage/antique feel to your wedding venue. The city of Frisco keeps the venue very clean, and the people (event coordinator) I had was very organized and professional (Brenda). I got email responses back very quickly from Brenda. The Frisco Heritage Center was very flexible and willing to help in any way they could to make sure my wedding dream was fulfilled. I definitely would recommend the Frisco Heritage Center along with Brenda as the event coordinator.

    This is the perfect venue for a smaller wedding. The chapel was so quaint & perfect for the look I was going for. Loved the vintage feel of the whole Frisco Heritage Center! The rental fees are very affordable for brides on a budget! Loved the whole experience & I would recommend this venue to anyone!

    We loved having our wedding at the Frisco Heritage Center. Joni was our coordinator and she was awesome! She was very flexible when it came to us wanting to go up there to look around to get ideas for planning. The price was amazing. We loved the old-time feeling of the Train Depot for the reception. The Chapel is so gorgeous by itself, the only decorating we did was add some pew bows. I would definitely recommend this for a smaller wedding, around 100 people.

    I have to say that from the first tour, we knew this was the place . . . all through the planning they worked with us to make sure it was perfect and that our needs were met!!

    This was the perfect venue for my daughter's wedding!!! From the Engaement Photos, to the Family Shower, to the Rehearsal, to the Wedding and AMAZING Reception . . . it was fabulous! The Church was so beautiful and intimate and the Depot was rocking!! The house we used for the Bridal Party to get ready was also a perfect place for people to get ready, relax, visit and prepare for the most important day of her life. Beautiful venue, fun personnel and they also provided perfect weather for us!

    I had such a wonderful experience having our wedding at the Frisco Heritage Museum. The coordinator assigned to me was very helpful, responsive to every question or need, and most of all kind.
    The chapel is beautiful and doesn't need much. The grounds and landscaping are all kept very neat and its a great place to take pictures. Overall we couldn't have picked a more picturesque place.

    We used the Chapel and the Depot for our wedding last month and enjoyed every aspect of the venue. Joni was amazing to work with and both she and Brenda were very responsive with any questions we had. Our guests loved both buildings and my wife and I particularly love the beauty and historic relevance of the chapel. The pricing is very fair and we were impressed with our whole experience.

    The Depot was the perfect spot for our rehearsal dinner. It is quaint and charming, yet comfortably held 90 guests. Brenda and Joni were great to work with and quickly responded to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this venue!

    We did a TON of research (thoroughly vetted 65 venues) before we chose this one, and it was a great decision. The venue is beautiful, centrally located to highways, and there are tons of great places for pictures.

    Our coordinator, Joni, was the bees knees. For over a year before our event, she responded to my emails and calls with questions from the norm to minutiae and helped with ideas when I was stumped. She did research on letting us throw something nontraditional for our exit (malted grains), and let us remove the cross from the chapel, so we could put up a painting for our ceremony. 100% awesome service.

    A few SUPER MINOR issues:
    --There are people taking pictures at the venue almost constantly, which was annoying and people had to be shooed away from being in our formal shots. It's a gorgeous place, so no wonder.
    --We had issues with the sound system in the Depot, because we didn't get a chance to practice with it. Our rehearsal was during another wedding, so once they were cleared out of the chapel, we could rehearse in there, but they were still partying in the depot, so we couldn't rehearse there. This is simply due to wedding season schedule conflicts.

    I had my wedding ceremony and reception at the Frisco Heritage Center this past weekend and I couldn't have gotten more compliments on the venue. My family is all from out of state and they were so impressed by the venue and the decor. Joni helped me throughout my wedding planning and was nothing but accommodating. If i needed to meet with someone at the venue Joni would make sure to be there too no matter what the day or time. She was always easy to reach and quick to respond to any questions I had. My wedding couldn't have been any better. I am so glad I went with the Heritage Center and so were my guests.

    My husband and I were married here in June of 2013. We were so very pleased with the venue from the moment we saw it. It fit our heritage and personalities so well! The staff is very professional and helpful. Joni, despite not feeling well, was able to kick off our rehearsal quickly and with obvious experience. No one else was sure where to start! We had a difficult musical number requiring a lot of moving around, and she was so helpful and patient with us as we figured it out. :) We would strongly recommend the Frisco Heritage Center to anyone having a small to medium sized wedding and seeking a historical location. We were able to get many unique and memorable photos all over the grounds. We will treasure our memories from that day thanks to the Frisco Heritage Center!

    We loved having our reception at the Frisco Heritage Center Depot! The venue was gorgeous and affordable. Brenda was great to work with - always responded quickly to our requests and inquiries and helped to accomadate our decorating and delivery schedules. Our wedding reception was a beautiful night to remember - for the bride and groom and all of their guests. THANK YOU!

    The staff were amazingly attentive to make sure everything was ready to go for us. They even when beyond the scope to make sure we had our video working, which wasn't easy. This has to be the cutest little church and venue to have an intimate wedding in the area.... by far.

    The Depot was a perfect venue for our wedding reception. The "vintage feel" of the place was perfect with our "vintage" theme. Brenda Tighe was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding reception.

    We had our wedding reception at the Depot in September and it was amazing!!! Not only was the venue unique and fun, but it was extremely reasonably priced. We had so many compliments from our guests on the venue and we didn't even have to decorate beyond the table setting! Our reception was everything we had hoped for, I would definitely recommend this venue!

    My wedding at Frisco Heritage Center was amazing. The location is great, there are so many amazing scenes for photographs. Brenda was AWESOME throughout the whole process and I couldn't have asked for more. The convience of having a bridal suite, ceremony & reception all at one site is unbeatable for the price. I'm so glad we found this location and would highly recommend it.

    My daughter and son in law had their wedding reception at the Railroad Depot and it was very successful. The depot has space for 130 people, we had a few less than that, and it worked out very comfortably for space. It helps to have the separate small rooms for serving food and a bar facility. The depot is clean and bright, with nice clean bathrooms and a well fitted kitchen. I did not give 5 stars for value as I believe it was quite expensive for renting for just a few hours however. The Frisco staff were helpful and accommodating.

    My experience with Joni and Brenda regarding the chapel was perfect! They were always available to answer our questions...the chapel was gorgeous. I would def recommend this venue to anyone!

    This is a beautiful and fun space. If you are having the max amount of guests or close to it, be aware that the dance floor space will be limited. If you are using this venue when the sun goes down early and are wanting pictures outside, make sure to set the time of the event so you have enough daylight for your pictures.

    We are so happy that we selected Frisco Heritage Center for our Wedding. Our guest list was majority of out of towners so it was wonderful having all the festivities in one location. The scenic area and historic location provided enough for our guests to do while we were finishing our pictures between the ceremony and reception.

    The FHC offered plenty of time for us to decorate which was very appreciated. The pictures were wonderful with the variety of buildings as backdrops. And all our vendors had worked with the FHC prior to this event. It was very easy to coordinate with the team there and it was helpful to have the 3rd Sundays Open Houses to see the venue multiple times before the event.

    Our wedding was about 70-75 people and the amount was perfect. The place was full but not overwhelming and everyone could still move through the food line and have a dance floor. We definitely enjoyed dancing the night away!!

    I would highly recommend this venue. Working with Brenda was a great experience. She answered all of my questions immediately and worked with me several times on changing time arrangements. Everything was ready when promised. The only problems that we had was that the room was a little too warm for the reception, but Brenda took care of that immediately and the microphone never did work. I would just recommend checking the sound system ahead of time.
