    To begin planning, we had the hardest time getting in contact with the events coordinator at the W French Quarter. We would call her 5 times to get one response, and she always sounded like she was doing us a favor to have our wedding there. This person was promoted, so we were informed we would be working with someone new. This worked out well, because the new events coordinator is MUCH more responsive and much friendlier. We had requested a room to be booked for us several times in the 8 months leading up to the wedding. They got back to us 2 months before the wedding to let us know they were able to find us a room because they had a cancellation.
    The room for the reception was supposed to be set up by 8 am, so we could get in and make adjustments, it wasn't. The lighting subcontractor we signed a contract with through the W never showed up! Our ceremony was completely dark and there was nothing we could do. The original coordinator had also told us that the courtyard would be completely blocked off for half an hour, but this was not true. We had strangers wandering around our wedding ceremony and even in our reception hall that came to check out what was going on!
    Then, when we sat down for dinner, they served us completely different food than what we had tasted and ordered. The food was still good, but not what we were expecting, especially with how much the food and beverage minimum and service fees are. They also screwed up the order and were planning on bringing desert even though it's a wedding and we told them we had a cake? They seemed very befuddled by the fact that a wedding would have a wedding cake and that we needed them to serve it, even though this was one of the things we had distinctly asked about before the wedding. To top off the night, they cleared our personal cake knife and server and lost it. They have not found it and have not returned it. Calls to complain were not well received. DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE! NOT WORTH IT!

    Don't even bother with them

    DO NOT EVEN BOTHER. I contacted the venue and went visit it but when I asked for availability on my dates, they completely ghosted me. I kept waiting and folliowng up with them to ask for the dates to the new person in charge and just got excuses. This process lasted a MONTH until I decided to go with other venue.
    BTW, I never got any dates available. At first, I was set on hiring this venue but I am blessed I didn't.

    DO NOT HIRE THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME
