We shopped around for months to find the perfect wedding photographer, and we are so pleased to have selected Eli Turner of Freed Photography. Eli was such a pleasure to work with. He is clearly very experienced and brings comfort and a good sense of humor to the process. He is also very creative and got some amazing photos. We recommend this photographer to anyone.

Eli was amazing to work with - from our engagement shoot, all the way through the last minute of our wedding celebration. He was extremely professional and made everyone feel at ease. Plus, he's such a fantastic person that it was a pleasure to have him around us on our wedding day. We are just so happy with how our photos turned out! Freed was among the first vendors we booked after we got engaged and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

Our photographer was Bryan Blanken and he was great to work with. He was honest, calm and trustworthy. We loved that he made it fun and would share photos with us as he was taking them. We hope to work with Freed and Bryan again in the future.

Words cannot even describe the service and photographs Russell Cosner from Freed Photography took the day of our wedding. He was fantastic and has the artistic eye and creativity to capture moments through the lense of a camera like no other. He captured the emotion and the enthusiasm of not only my husband and I but also the guests and family as they shared our day. I recommend Freed Photography and their staff! John Shinkle from Freed and his team for the day (James and Pablo) were absolutely amazing -- they were accomodating, they put us all at ease, and they took somme amazing shots of our bridal party at the Capitol. John met with us a number of times before the wedding and we loved our engagement pics. We cannot wait to get our wedding photos, and we would highly recommend Freed to anyone looking for a professional and creative group of photogs in the DC area!

I would have no hesitations what-so-ever in fully recommending Freed Photography to anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding or ANY other special event. From the moment you walk into their studios in Bethesda, to the follow up with the photographers you know you have a special company and will be in good hands. I will say that their services are not cheap, but this is the one time in your life not to go with someone offering you the cheapest package. Other companies will sell you a package, not tell you about the photographer in anyway, when it's the photographer that makes your wedding!! What you GAIN from Freed is the professionalism, care, charm, creativity and imagination that you do not get with ANY OTHER photography studio. You HAND PICK the photographer that MATCHES your style. My photographer, Jennifer M. was AMAZING! She showed up EARLY (with an assistant) and took a ton of pictures of everyone who was with us at our wedding. Good thing too since my mom's camera battery died!!
She was able to truly capture the wonderful memories that were created that evening. She was also able to take pictures with every shade of sunlight possible, she even followed our antique firetruck and incorporated it brilliantly into our photos while we went for a short spin to celebrate! Both Jennifer and her assistant were extremely flexible and were able to capture pictures I could never dream of getting myself.
I would HIGHLY reccomend Freed and more specifically Jennifer M. as a photographer for your event...I am already booking Freed for our upcoming baby pictures :-)

Very professional and accommodating. We had two consultation meetings with the company to discuss our desires and details of the evening. We were very confident that our wedding would be captured beautifully and artistically. Overall, we were extremely pleased and would recommend Freed Photography to anyone! Freed Photography was very easy to work with. They were available for planning meetings in the evening and always returned calls promptly. Neal and Carla were professional the day of the event and added to the overall enjoyment of our day. We have already received the CD of our pictures and the quality is amazing. Bill did such an amazing job on our wedding!! We just loved his work and he was so fast too. He was nice enough to send us a whole bunch of pictures the day after the wedding so we could see how they came out (great!) and we got everything back less than two weeks after the wedding. None of my recently married friends got their pictures back so fast. The pictures are really just perfect and are exactly what we wanted. Bill was also so nice, unobtrusive, and really wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend him!!

Freed was awesome to work with! Everyone that works there is so nice and helpful! Pablo and his assistant did an amazing job and were everywhere all night long. They were always there when i wanted a picture and other guests said the same thing! I will for sure recommend Freed to any and everyone!

Freed Photography was the best of the best. We had Pablo as our photographer and he was wonderful. He was respectul of our schedule and ceremony. He took fantastic pictures and was very easy to deal with on every level. He followed all of our instructions and made sure all of our important guests/family were included in the pictures. The is the best value out there, worth every penny!

Terrific! We had a great experience with Freed - from our first meeting to discuss the logistics, to working with the photographers the day of. Everyone was highly professional and "on task" and made the experience truly enjoyable. We are in the process of selecting our photos for our album and are thrilled with the results.
