The cake was tasted good, looked good, very average. Not much of a selection I think there was 3 to choose from. I had my heart set on black velvet and was told the baker doesn't like that cake? OK I had my final details with Sarah I believe her name was and she confirmed that it would be 4 tiers, well it was only 3 and the slices that were given to my guest were paper thin, thank goodness I ordered icecream truffels to be served with it. This was the only service that was included with my package so I'm not going to call and complain but if your choosing this bakery for your cake be on top of them to make sure you get what you want.

Frederick's Pastries did an amazing job on our cake! It was delicious and beautiful with delicate and confectionary pink and yellow flowers draping down the cake - just as we wanted! Each time we called with any questions they were very timely in their response and so helpful! Sarah was the baker/consultant we worked with most and she was incredibly helpful and kind!

I had 3 cakes, my regular wedding cake and two matching smaller ones to go with it, They were absolutely perfect and matched exact..Very happy overall

The only reason I didn't give them five stars for value was taste. I didn't like the chocolate ganache that they use as a filling between layers. I love chocolate, but theirs was too sweet and dense. The cake was beautiful, we loved that they were able to customize it to fit our desires. They were easy to work with and had no problem with delivering the cake in a snowstorm. (at least that we know about, the cake was perfect and on time!) They even remembered to include a box for us to take the top layer home.

Amazing cake! I am not a cake person so this was not a huge deal to me... but this cake is different... we had a 3 layer cake and each layer had the following:
Golden cake with buttercream, then a thin layer of rasp. perserves and then more buttercream and a layer of dark choc. cake... it was amazing!
They also went out and got the right flowers to put on the top of the cake once I told them the names, the service was great!

Beautiful cake - they matches the shade of green to my topper wonderfully. Even the fresh flowers added to the middle of two layers matched the ones from the florist.

My cake was absolutely delicious and beautiful on my wedding day. It was exactly what I wanted. Their cakes are beautiful and well-designed. They charge extra for a square cake, though, which I find to be a bit shifty...it was almost as if they tried to steer me away from ordering a square cake, even though half of the ones they had on display were rectangular.

My wedding cake was amazing, it looked flawless but also tasted soooo good!!!!! I was so busy that night I maybe ate 2 bites of dinner, but when I had a bit of that cake =) I ate the whole thing!!!!!!!!!!!

The cake was delicious and beautiful. Our consultant was able to match the icing perfectly to the bridal party colors (a light green), and it surpassed my expectations. It was perfect!

My cake was absolutely beautiful. I gave Jen a couple of pictures and told her what I was looking to achieve and they did it. My family frequents Frederick's especially for special occassion cakes, so we know their cakes are good. We opted for a buttercream and pound cake and chocolate with a raspberry filling. The great part is that the pound cake and chocolate came on one piece of cake...so everyone could taste the chocolate and pound. We actually had people looking for seconds on the cake...it was very moist and tasted like it had been baked that day. I can't wait for our one year anniversary to eat the rest of it!!
