Laura put together the most beautiful flower arrangements for my wedding. I showed her pictures of what I wanted and she took everything over from there. The flowers were fresh and turned out exactly how I wanted. She also had great prices - I was surprised at the size of the arrangements when I saw them. Gorgeous flowers to top off the most amazing wedding!!
My daughter was married on 6/24/21. After many changes throughout the past year and a half, Laura stuck with us and provided the most beautiful arrangements!! I would highly recommend For Better For Less. They were the florist for my son's wedding and because they did such a fantastic job I recommended them to my daughter for her wedding. The wedding flowers were very different at each wedding but they were absolutely beautiful and we receive so many compliments from the guests. Flowers are such an important part of a wedding and For Better For Less knows what they are doing and they do it well.

Amazing Work on a Budget
I am speechless at how amazing Laura is and the work she did for our wedding. It was better than anything I could’ve ever imagined. I will admit, I did not have a large floral budget, a super detailed vision, or the knowledge of flowers to begin with. But what Laura created for our wedding blew anything I could’ve pictured out away. She perfectly captured what we were looking for and her work was beyond amazing. And did I mention budget, I cannot believe she did what she did for the budget we gave her. Truly amazing. And leaving those flowers at the hotel was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

I used this vendor on the recommendation of a close family friend that had worked with her in the past who raved about the service and quality of work. I must say that I was not disappointed one bit! Laura the owner was a dream to work with. She was so mindful of our budget and worked with us every step of the way to give us what we wanted. The best part of working with Laura is that she really cares about what you envision your day to be and want it to look like. She doesn't try to push her view or style onto you. She was very prompt in responding to our questions, and even when we changed things was very accommodating. I loved everything she created for our big day and our guest could not stop complementing us on how beautiful everything was. I really feel I got the most for my money, and I would recommend using Laura to anyone who would ask without hesitation.

I decided on some unique flowers for my wedding, and looked around a lot. Laura knew exactly what I wanted from the beginning and all of the pictures and ideas she provided were even better than I expected. Plus her rate was very reasonable for her services. I could not wait to see my flowers. Laura did not disappoint. I actually cried when they were delivered, for some reason it all became real at that moment. My flowers were so amazing. They were colorful and tropical and everything I imagined plus more. They were focal points throughout the wedding and they added so much to every picture. I could not have been happier with Laura and cannot recommend her enough for your wedding!

When I went to pick out the flowers for our wedding, I knew nothing about flowers or what I wanted. Irene from FBFL asked me the most detailed questions to help my brain and mouth connect to figure out exactly what I really wanted, and the end result was gorgeous :) perfectly priced as well, I had a very large bridal party: 7 bridesmaids, 7 groomsman, a ring bearer and 3 flower girls and a jr bridesmaid, we got a great deal :)

The flowers on my wedding were IMPECCABLE even though it was a hot day. Irene was great throughout the entire process, since the first meeting she was kind to come in on her day off to meet us since we were living out of town.

My husband and I used For Better for Less Flowers for our destination wedding in Clearwater Beach, FL. Irene was a pleasure to work with. Since it was a destination wedding, everything was done via email and telephone. I sent her pictures of what I wanted my centerpieces and bouquets to be and to say they came out amazing would be an understatement. Flowers were fresh, perfectly arranged and looked beautiful. As this is my first/only wedding, I was blown away with the cost of flowers. I thought I was working with a pretty decent budget but when I went to another vendor (only ones authorized for ceiling treatments at our venue), I was a little discouraged. I contacted Irene pretty last minute, but she got me right in for an appointment and after I received the quote I almost cried, I was actually going to be able to have flowers at my wedding! We actually got more flowers than my first quote at another florist for less money and they were EXACTLY what I wanted. The arrangements were so gorgeous. Absolutely recommend FBFL for any wedding. She turned my vision into reality and provided everything we could of hoped for. She came before our ceremony to personally hand out bouquets, boutonnieres, flower girl petals, etc. They all came out beautifully! I have to say that I probably drove Irene nuts with all the emails that i sent her. But she nailed it when it came to our centerpieces and they were everything I had hoped they would be. They were romantic and soft but still had a blast of color that just wowed people. If i could choose anyone to ever make center pieces again it would be For Better For Less!

Easily the most amazing vendor we had for the wedding. I was a very picky and unusual bride when it came to the flowers. It was a boho-chic wedding with lots of elaborate flower crowns. Every single guest at the wedding commented on the center pieces, the aisle flowers, and especially the flower crowns! Irene had never done flower crowns and she blew me away with them! She was so open to all of my ideas! I would recommend her OVER AND OVER AGAIN!

For Better For Less did a fabulous job for my son's wedding at The Rusty Pelican. Irene was at the Church making sure the boutonnières were pinned properly, she also made sure the bride had the bouquets at the hotel early enough to accommodate the photographer. When we walked into the reception we were thrilled - the center pieces were stunning. We could not have asked for more and we would recommend this florist to any bride without reservation.

Flowers were the one wedding decision that had the potential to stress me out the most. I had NO IDEA what I wanted, I could tell you what I didn't want (I hate orchids and Lillies) , but didn't have a particular "vision". We first met Irene at her beautiful home, she was very flexible as I was coming from out of town. I literally came to her with a picture of my dress, wedding colors, venue and a few pics from Pinterest...She took those things and created such a beautiful display of flowers. She suggested certain flowers that would hold up in the weather (outside in June) and would compliment my dress/venue the best. She was honest, very responsive, attentive, affordable and kind. I honestly could not have pictured any flowers more perfect for our wedding. Irene is awesome! Highly recommend!

Irene truly did a marvelous job with our wedding flowers. I have a friend who works in the wedding business and she recommended For Better For Less to me. We actually had our first meeting with Irene at her house, and I could tell by her beautiful landscaping that she has a real gift.
I wasn't really sure of what flowers and centerpieces would be nice for the season of my wedding, so I was very pleased that Irene was able to give me a lot of good ideas. All of the flowers turned out to be BEAUTIFUL. The centerpieces looked great and I loved that it was all taken care of for me. Irene was really easy to work with and was very receptive to all of the questions I had. GREAT, inexpensive florist in the Tampa Bay area!

After initially meeting with Irene for a consultation, we immediately recognized how experienced and on top of things she would be for our wedding. She was exactly what we needed. She is also very prompt on answering emails. On our wedding day, a couple things did not go as planned with the venue, and she took the initiative to get our flower girl basket and table arrangements finished in time. She took care of all of the floral arrangements for the ceremony and reception, and we did not have to worry about any of it or designate another to do so. I would 100% recommend her for any wedding. Irene and her husband Ian were absolutely WONDERFUL! They were VERY flexible with the plan and cost of my flowers. She was very helpful with the arrangements of my bouquet, centerpieces, and pieces for the gazebo. All of their flowers are real and BEAUTIFUL. Colors popped and were bloomed. I had a friend who got married and her flowers weren't open, these are perfect! They came to the hotel dropped the flowers off in water (so they would still be fresh) for pictures and the rest at the rusty pelican. They were great to work with. I would pick them again definitely!!

Irene was nice enough to hand deliver our bouquets to the hotel so that we could take pictures, and then her and her husband gave us good advice as well about holding our bouquets and taking pictures. She put fresh orchid petals on our cake which really made it pop. Everyone gushed about how beautiful everything was!! They are amazing and I recommend them to anyone!!

Irene's husband did a wonderful job of teaching myself and the bridesmaids how to hold our flowers. He even took a few beautiful pictures during the ceremony that Irene had emailed to me. I took her my grandmother's wedding dress and she incorporated a peice of it into my bouquet beautifully. Irene was helpful from the very beginning. Flowers were not my strong point. I knew a color scheme but not much else. Irene helped my husband and I choose the perfect flowers in our price range. They paid such attention to detail when setting up and were willing to stick around and move our ceremony flowers into our reception room. Everything was BEAUTIFUL! We had so many compliments, and they popped in pictures!

I am so happy I found this company! They are priced far less than other florists, but they did NOT disappoint! They sat down and really listened to what I wanted, and helped me figure out what would look best. The flowers were so beautiful! They really did a great job!

I liked all of my vendors, but Irene has a special place in my heart. What she can do with flowers is WONDROUS!! I have never been wild about flowers and wasn't sure how much I wanted them in the wedding. I didn't have a clear vision of what would work with my colors. Somehow Irene came up with the most amazing arrangements that I could never have dreamed up!!!! She made me fall in love with flowers and I truly wish I could have the arrangements she made in my house everyday. If you need a florist, look no further... Irene is the best!!!!

Irene Baxter and her team of professionals at "FOR BETTER, FOR LESS" provided the most amazing, gorgeous flowers for my daughter's wedding that anyone has every seen. They even exceeded my expectations and I am one tough cookie to impress. At least 50 people from our guest list of 103 came up to me and commented on the flowers. There were 2 event planners there as guests at the wedding and they thought the flowers were 300% more expensive than they really were. They will be using For Better, For Less for all of their events in the greater Tampa Bay area from now on. When the doors were opened to into the ballroom for our wedding dinner, people actually gasped. The flowers were magnificent, complimented by small votive candels for a truly romantic look. The flowers really MADE the room special and wonderful for my beautiful daughter and her new husband. Words simply cannot express how magnificent they were. I can't wait to see the photographs. Irene and Ian and their staff really did us proud. Wonderful vendor - perfect choice for any event that needs flowers. For Better For Less Wedding Flowers was recommended by a dear friend of mine. I met with Irene and I had no idea what kinds of flowers I wanted or what colors. Irene helped make perfect choices and her arrangements were breathtaking! If you are a bride on a budget, I recommend For Better For Less.

I loved the flowers that For Better For Less Wedding Flowers created for my wedding. They got the color scheme perfectly, the centerpieces were stunning, the bouquets and personal flowers were perfect and the service was very personalized. This vendor really cares about their work...we didn't feel like we were "just another wedding." The pricing was very competitive to other florists, and we got more for our money vs. what other florists proposed. Definitely would recommend them!

The flowers were reasonably priced, and they were absolutely beautiful! Irene was wonderful to work with, she was very responsive, and offered many helpful suggestions!
Ian seemed to like the overall look of the flowers in the ceremony space so much that he stuck around after delivery and took some of his own pictures.
Bottom Line: Beautiful flowers, reasonable prices, you can't beat For Better For Less! Thank you Irene & Ian!

Irene and her husband were more than wonderful! She contacted us weeks prior to the wedding to go over last minute details. On the day of the wedding her husband (forgive me, I do not remember his name) called and asked what time we needed the flowers for pictures so he could come up and personally cut the stems. While downstairs decorating our arch, Irene called me and said the arch looked a little bland and suggested she wrap some fabric to add to it. When I walked down the aisle I immediately noticed what she meant and was very grateful for this added touch. Her husband took some extra time to instruct the girls and I how to hold our bouquets (which were the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen - white and green orchids, hydrangeas, and calla lilies) so they would photograph best.
I was blown away when I entered our ballroom and saw what a beautiful job they did with the centerpieces. Our centerpieces were alternating 20" and 24" vases - one was filled with large calla lilies and the other had submerged orchids in the bottom and an arrangement of calla lilies, orchids, hydrangeas, and curly willow on top. They removed the side arrangements from the arch and placed them on our sweetheart table and put out vases on the gift table so the bridesmaids and myself could place our bouquets in them as an added decoration.

From the start, Irene was truly a pleasure to work with. She was flexible, responsive and had some great ideas. The day of the wedding, her husband delivered my bouquet to my hotel room, showed me how to hold it as well as showed the bridesmaids how to hold theirs. I was not expecting such wonderful customer service! The ceremony flowers, bouquets and centerpieces looked better than I could have imagined, and the staff set everything up perfectly. Thank you for helping to make my wedding so beautiful!

Irene did a great job with the flowers. All the bouquets were beautiful and fresh. The ceremony decor was amazing. I really wan't expecting it to look that great, and for a decent price too. My cake was trashed.A whole side crushed in and the flowers were messed up but Irene covered the mishaps with orchids and it was beautiful and a life-saver.

Irene and her husband make a great team! She was very helpful from the start as I wasnt sure exactly what I wanted. I gave her some ideas I had in mind and she ran with them! I also made some changes along the way and Irene was very pleased to work with me to help my dream wedding come true! The result was beyond amazing, the colors of the flowers were nothing like I have ever seen before, and the design just blew people away! I am so glad I found For Better For Less Wedding Flowers on wedding wire! I couldnt have asked for anything more!

Irene is an amazing vendor!! I couldn't have asked for anything more for my wedding florist. She was so professional and always followed up when she was supposed. I couldn't believe how gorgeous the bouquets turned out and truly were a highlight of the day. Irene and Ian did a fantastic job creating beautiful floral arrangements for our wedding. They were great to work with. Ian made sure all the flowers were perfect for the photos. I requested sweet peas for my bouquet which they were able to get for me. I highly recommend For Better For Less Wedding Flowers!
