The most beautiful wedding flowers at an affordable price!
My husband and I hired Kay to assemble our wedding flowers--my sister used her for her wedding as well years ago. SHE IS AMAZING! Not only is Kay extremely talented at bringing your ideas to fruition in a very tasteful, beautiful manner, but she's also such a wonderful human. Kay swooped in and corrected mistakes and mishaps done by our venue and our bakery. I'm almost sad the wedding has passed because I don't get to interact with her anymore! I would hire her in an instant for any future florist needs.

Absolutely Amazing
Kay and her team were wonderful to work with! Kay was professional, gifted with design, but also incredibly kind. She spent alot of time with us going over our style preferences, colors, budget, and type of flowers. She removed all the stress of the decor and gave me confidence in trying a few new things as well. The flowers were gorgeous and exactly as she had promised. Again, there are many skilled people available, but it is harder to find a person that is a delight to work with. Patience, compassion, and kindness in the middle of stressful wedding planning is an incredible gift, and Kay embodies these traits along with her incredible talent. I cannot adequately recommend her and her team enough!

Gorgeous and unique floral design
Kay was a dream to work with. During our planning sessions, I told Kay that I wanted bright colors, with lots of pinks, purples, and blues, as well as rich greenery. She delivered on this request and then some! Her floral pieces are truly remarkable. She even found a special double lily to include in my bouquet because the stargazer lily is my favorite flower, but I was worried that its size would overpower the arrangement. The double lilies were smaller and added an extra dimension to my bouquet that made it so special. She is truly an amazing artist and will help you bring whatever vision you have into reality. My dream wedding flowers came to life!
Kay took my dream wedding florals, and brought them to life! Working with Kay throughout the wedding planning process was so easy - she was probably the easiest vendor to work with of them all! She was straightforward in her communication and so intentional about putting what I wanted for the flowers for my wedding first. And, she is so kind and genuine! Our experience with Kay was wonderful. She was always responsive to my emails and several changes as I , like most brides, tend to change a few things during the planning process. Kay designed a beautiful , classic look from a combination of photos I sent and was comprehensive in gathering info re preferences, allergies etc in the selection of florals. The delivery to our photo shoot was timely and the florals were well prepared for transport to the wedding venue.

During a tough time for wedding planning, Kay made it easy!
While I was planning my wedding during Covid we had a lot of hiccups including venue changes which ended up also changing the design for the floral. Kay was very responsive and able to help us through every change, and happy to do so! We ended up with an amazing wedding with the most beautiful arch I've ever seen in person and centerpieces that filled a huge room we got for 100 people due to Covid!

Stress-Free Wedding Florals
Kay was phenomenal! She knew exactly what we were envisioning and made the entire process very easy. We got married outside in 115 degrees and Kay knew right away that my flowers were going to die in the heat, so she found a solution for me before I even thought it was going to be a problem. Our arch then fell over because the wood swelled due to the heat but Kay had a backup plan for that as well and I had complete confidence that she was going to make it look gorgeous. During a stressful day of unforeseeable issues, we knew we could depend on Kay to make the changes necessary and we weren't nervous at all about how it would look. Working with Kay was honestly one of the best things we did for ourselves, she was a blessing.

The Highlight of my Wedding!
Where do I even start. You have no idea how grateful I am to have had Kay on our wedding team. She completely blew me away with her design. I have a beautiful picture that shows my face when I first walked into the venue and saw my dream become a reality. I still can't get over how freaking amazing it turned out. I imagine brides, like myself, come to her with pictures and say "this is what I want" and she make a beautiful arrangement with their photos in mind. I'm sure this works well with most brides, but in our case, we gave her free reign to create whatever she wanted after visiting the space and it was the best decision we could have made. She flexed her creative muscles and created something beyond what I could have ever envisioned myself. Kays design took into account the beauty and mood of the space and complimented it perfectly. As a bride, you want everything to be perfect and beautiful and for everyone to gush all over your photos... She gave me that and then some! I knew when I had my first consultation with her and saw how organized and precise she was (totally type A like me) that she were a perfect fit. I could not be happier with the way things turned out. I am forever in her debt. I’d I did it all over again I wouldn’t change a thing.

Kay was AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!! She was responsive, personable (I really enjoyed chatting with her as we planned everything), and genuinely cared that I got what I was looking for on my wedding day! I was blown away at how gorgeous the florals were and I still receive compliments a month later on how beautiful it was. She checked in with me throughout the planning process leading up to the wedding and was quick to make changes as details were finalized. She had a great online site to organize ideas which made it easy to confirm we were on the same page with the decor, especially nice since we were less able to discuss things in person due to covid! She had great ideas when I was unsure and truly put me at ease! The contract was clear and straight forward. I can confidently say at the competitive price she offers, I was extremely pleased with her service and the final product - I would not have received anything as great anywhere else! She was sweet, on time, and did a fabulous job setting it all up. She goes above and beyond. Would recommend her 100x!

Kay was great to work with. She is very organized and on top of the logistics of things. More importantly, our wedding flowers were AMAZING!!!! I could not have pictured a more beautiful bridal bouquet if I tried, it even trumped all the pinterest flowers I had looked at. Our reception area looked great as well with beautiful centerpieces and a gorgeous head table flower garland. Kay definitely listened to exactly what I wanted and she nailed it! Kay was absolutely wonderful to work with! My wife and I were in AWE when the final products were delivered. Kay was punctual, prompt, productive and so very professional. My gentlemen were SHARP with their boutenieres! But, the ladies... they were exquisite and my bride was purely stunning with their bouquets. Kay had a perfect rendition of the flowers with hops we suggested and the cake was flawless! Kay's work was truly top of the charts and others would be crazy not to work with her. Absolute Perfection!
Working with Kay for florals and centerpieces for our wedding was a dream! She listened thoughtfully to what our vibe for the day was and responded with an incredible proposal full of options that we didn't even know were possible. The florals fit our wedding perfectly- right down to each individual flower and plant. The thoughtful touches really made the day feel extra special. Everything in our package was absolutely spectacular!
I was absolutely blown away by how great of a job Kay did of my flowers. From start to finish she was by far the best vendor to work with. She was very organized and always communicated ahead of time to keep everything going smoothly. She is an absolute pleasure to work with and relieved so much stress for me. Then just when I thought she couldn’t be better the flowers on my wedding day far exceeded my expectations! She took my vision and the feelings/ideas I had and perfectly turned it into exactly what I wanted. She didn’t need specific instructions on what to do, she is so creative that she can literally turn a mood and feeling/ some favorite colors into a stunning and perfect floral arrangement. I could not have had anything with the florals go any better than it did. So thrilled I chose flowers for you with Kay!!

Kay is so caring and understanding! When I was in the process of looking for a florists, I had a new born and when I found Kay she understood that my schedule was busy so she worked around my schedule to work with me. That’s how I knew I wanted her to be my florists. On my wedding day, I was surprised that she showed up 2 hours earlier than what was planned. It was so relieving to know that she gave herself extra time to set up. Her work was so beautiful!!! Everyone loved the bridesmaids bouquets and my bouquet was absolutely gorgeous. All her work was beautiful and made my wedding day perfect!

Flawless winter forest themed wedding
We can't thank Kay enough for all of her help. Everything was absolutely perfect and the planning process/day of the wedding was made incredibly easy. Kay and her team were prompt with the set-up and take-down of our florals. The transition from ceremony to reception decor was seamless.
We were married during the first week of December and are still receiving compliments on the beautiful decorations and floral displays. Our guests were so impressed with how flawlessly our winter forest theme came together. Kay was always available to answer questions, make changes, and add to our order.

Kay knocked my wedding floral vision out of the park. I planned my Oregon wedding from across the country, with only email and phone correspondence between us. Not only was she SO responsive (even after having a baby!) but she always wonderfully handled my last minute changes and uncertainty. When the flowers arrived day of, I just about cried. We loved working with Kay. I had a really hard time at first finding a florist and it was starting to make the planning not fun. She was a breath of fresh air and understood me. She was able to show us in person the things we were wanting and totally helped me with the vision. She is so nice, understanding and a great listener. She will give you ideas and she is fine if you don't like them. She knows the business well and was able to give us insight on things we hadn't thought about. Kay Black and Flowers For You were amazing to work with! Planning the wedding from SC with the bride in HI was stressful and Kay made the floral part easy. She was always responsive and took the Bride's vision from photos and conversations and made it come to life. The flowers for the bridal party and church were beautiful and incorporated everything the bride asked for. The reception table decor was perfect! The wedding was in a different location from the reception and Kay's team flawlessly moved the church flowers to the Portland Spirit, re-purposing them with ease. I cannot say enough about Kay - We had met with a few florists, and I just hadn’t felt that any of them really listened to me. They just heard when the wedding was, and where it was and then assumed they knew what I wanted. The moment I met Kay, I knew she was the perfect florist for us. She was so kind, warm, and accommodating. I wanted to trust my vendors, so I could give them creative license, and know that they would bring something that was great. I am SO glad that I chose Kay, she asked me all kinds of questions, I gave her very little guidance (I’m not a florist, who am I to tell her how to do her job?), and she delivered the most beautiful flowers ever. She also created a fantastic garland for the Fireplace in our ceremony, that was "portable" enough to move to a love seat in our reception space, others told us it was impossible and she said it was entirely doable, it was perfect! She was professional, kind, and I was thrilled to see both her and my flowers on my wedding day. Kay, thank you, thank you, thank you!

I loved working with Kay! She was kind, knowledgeable, understanding, prepared, and a professional through-and-through from day one. Since I was the wedding planner for my wedding, I began my search looking for a florist that could hit my Big 3 List
1) Budget: My budget was fairly tight since my fiance and I were paying for a chunk of the wedding. I needed a florist who was willing to do flowers for a bridal party of 8, 11 extra corsages/boutonnieres, arch flowers, 22 table centerpieces, and aisle way pieces. Kay was able to do all of that within our $2,200 budget plus the little extra on our wedding cake with the leftover flowers.
2) Allergies: The most suggested flower for an October wedding given to me was the Lily. Unfortunately, one of my uncles is very allergic to them. When I told (four!) other florists I cannot have lilies AT ALL in my wedding due to bad allergies, they all balked at the idea.
But Kay, she didn't even blink an eye when I asked her to not include it. She in fact suggested we do not use any flowers that were remotely tied to the lily family. And from the pictures I've included, you can see that lilies are not necessary for a wedding.
3) Professionalism: As I mentioned earlier, I was my own wedding planner. That meant a lot of my communication was done through emails, telephone calls, and bridesmaids being proxies for me when I couldn't leave my full-time job to discuss different options. Kay was excellent with communicating with me and being prompt to answer all of my questions. I never worried about her getting back to me because she always would within 48-72 hour through multiple ways.
I didn't have any solid idea of what I wanted for my wedding. But after that first meeting with Kay, we came up with 80% of a game plan for Wedding Day. If you give Kay some guidelines and a couple of ideas, she can work magic. I would rehire Kay in a second without any doubts. Pick Flowers For You for sure!

I absolutely LOVED working with Kay at Flowers For You! She not only is an amazing florist, but a wonderful person. She was very responsive from the beginning and worked with me to make sure that I got exactly what I envisioned for my big day. She had amazing suggestions and ideas, but was also very understanding of my budget. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted, but using different pictures and our wedding theme, Kay created a magical set up and floral bouquets for my wedding, which was better than I could ever imagine! From the archway to my bouquet to the reception centerpieces...she totally nailed it and my day was perfect in large part because of her. I got so many compliments from vendors and guests about the beautiful flowers-I think many people were wishing they had found her for their weddings! I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with and I am so grateful that I found Kay. I can't ever thank her enough and I highly recommend her to anyone needing flowers and decor for any occasion!

We are so happy with Flowers For You! Kay did an incredible job with the flowers at our wedding! She completely understood the look we wanted to accomplish at our ceremony and reception and had so many great ideas during our meetings that made us really excited about her vision from the start. She was patient with all of the changes we continually made and was fantastic with providing us updated versions of our order. On our wedding day, we were so happy to see her work in action! There were flowers and greenery everywhere (even in the chandeliers!) and it all was beautiful :) My bouquet absolutely took my breath away! I wouldn't have changed a single thing about our wedding flowers and I will definitely use Flowers For You for events in the future!

Working with Flowers For You for our wedding arrangements was an amazing experience. From the first phone conversation with Kay, I was blown away by her attentiveness, professionalism, and her ability to understand our desire/theme for the wedding.
She worked with me throughout the process to tweak and change minor plans in order to get everything just right. She was responsive in amending the invoice, and keeping up with communication so I knew she was still working through stuff on the back-end. We had our in-person meeting about a month out and she walked us through the florals she would be using in the different arrangements and centerpieces. She understood our vision and was influential in having us not do an arch (so happy we didn't do that!) because our wedding venue had plenty of greenery and trees to surround the ceremony.
She created a beautiful hair piece that was one of my favorite accessories for the day. The outcome was beautiful and more perfect than I truly dreamed it would turn out. I will definitely be recommending Kay and Flower For You to any friends/family that are in need of a florist. Your wedding day only happens once, so thank you for making mine truly memorable and perfect for us.

I booked Kay from Flowers For You after reading a bunch of reviews on Wedding Wire and I'm so happy I did! I was planning my wedding in Portland from Canada so I didn't get a chance to meet all my vendors before the planning process. Kay was great! I thought her prices were reasonable and she was so easy to communicate with. She responded quickly to any emails I sent her and put up with a my constant changes and even a last minute addition when my fiancé decided he DID actually want boutonnieres about a week before the wedding! I didn't have anything super specific in mind for my bouquet but wanted something a little unique and different. I'm so glad I let her design when she wanted because it turned out phenomenal! I had so many comments on my gorgeous bouquet. My only regret is not planning ahead to get it preserved! It definitely had the "wow" factor I was hoping for. Everything was perfect! I would definitely recommend Kay for your wedding flowers. I got quite a few quotes and she was definitely the best bang for my buck!

I knew I would love working with Kay the first time I talked to her! She is so positive and upbeat it is infectious! I was not a bride with a huge creative side so having someone put my jumbled floral ideas into something beautiful was so important to me. I really appreciated her relaxed, no pressure atmosphere at her studio. A warm cup of tea was always welcome and I loved that I always left meetings with Kay pumped about wedding planning! Her design for our day was flawless! She even accommodated us when we completely changed our flower ideas half way through the planning process. I hired a wedding coordinator (Adornment Events - highly recommend by the way) to take care of my flowers and she suggested I contract with Kay. So I did because honestly, I didn't and still don't, know much about flowers other than how they are imperative for decoration.
I had no preference on my flowers other than incorporate my wedding colors (pink and gold), have my bouquet be cream colored, and no succulents or cactus (sorry to those in the succulent fan club- they aren't for everyone). I did not have a preference on which species of flowers I wanted either. It did not matter because Kay did a wonderful, beautiful job with all the flower goods. She designed all my centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres.
We received non stop compliments for days about how beautiful the flowers were and just how extravagant they looked. Despite our tight budget on flowers, Kay made the flowers all look gorgeous and had our guests convinced that we had spent a fortune on our flowers and decorations.
She delivered all the bouquets and boutonnieres to where we were getting ready on time, as planned. She was professional and delivered quality, beautiful masterpieces.
She did a phenomenal job listening to what I wanted and using her skills in creating beautiful flowers for my wedding.

She helped us become realistic on what we could do versus what we could not do based on the time of year. About 5 months before the wedding, we realized we were way over budget. I called Kay and she was able to slice our flower budget in half by using different flowers and changing the feel a bit. She took the time yo listen to our ideas and look at pictures of what we liked and she knew immediately the look we were going for. What I loved about Kay (beyond her excitement) was that when we told her what we wanted and what our budget was she immediately found a way to have both! She offered different types of flowers that would keep us well within our budget and still give us what we wanted which many other florists I talked to didn't offer. On the day of the event she was there early and did all of the set up on her own making sure that our vision was never compromised. Kay was one of the best parts of our whole wedding!!

Kay Dietl of Flowers for You was so much fun to work with! Her beautiful interpretation of what I wanted for my flowers on our wedding day was more than I ever expected it to be! She actually saw my vision, selected the colors exactly as I wanted them, and created beautiful scenes throughout our ceremony and reception. She was always punctual with our meetings, and on the big day. Kay had her hands full with more than 80 arrangements, bud vases, and wedding party flower creations. She transported them all between two locations over an hour apart from one another too. Every last bloom was fresh, beautiful, and lasted a very long time (weeks). I knew I wasn’t the only one who thought they were beautiful when guests asked to take them home. Thank you Kay for the beauty you brought to our wedding day.

Kay is a visionary! I came in with a very garbled vision and she was able to dissect what I was saying and make what was in my head a reality. I have numerous guests tell me that I had the most beautiful flowers that they had ever seen at a wedding. I was, of course flattered, but definitely cannot take credit for Kay's amazing talent. She was a joy to work with and really went out of her way to make my life easier. She even brought my bouquet and the bouquets for my bridesmaids to our hotel prior to going to the venue to set up flowers there. Kay is a real gem, an absolute value and incredibly talented. Kay from Flowers For You provided the flowers for our wedding the summer and they were just as we had wanted. They were gorgeous and had ranunculus, calla lily, roses, dahlias, and some small flowers accenting the arrangement. The colors for our wedding was coral and kiwi green and she matched it nicely. We got bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres and a welcoming table arrangement all together. It was an enjoyable experience meeting with Kay at her shop to discuss about the floral arrangements. She is so friendly and always has a big smile on her face radiating her joy for what she does. I would love to recommend flowers for you for your next big life event.

All day and into the night I received compliments about our flowers. Our photographer told us he usually avoids the traditional flower pictures but he had to take photos of mine because they were so extraordinary. I highly recommend her for your wedding. I loved working with Kay. She is always friendly and happy and made me feel so comfortable. I showed her pictures similar to what I wanted although none of the photos were exactly what I wanted. I explained my vision for a "compact wildflower" look and it was like she read my mind! I loved my flowers! They added so much color and brightness to everything. Kay was very easy to work with even when I requested changes to my initial color choices, more responsive than any other florist I contacted, and a great value too!

Working with Kay was an absolute dream. The flowers were beyond gorgeous and far exceeded our expectations. The arrangements were large and lush and were exactly as we had discussed with Kay in our initial meeting. She had worked at our venue, The Adrianna Hill Grand Ballroom, several times before and knew the coordinator there. That helped to ease stress on our part not having to worry about coordination. Kay had also done flowers at the First Baptist Church where we had our ceremony and was familiar with that space as well. She was extremely quick to respond, very professional and enthusiatic. She listened to us but also had great ideas and recommendations. I would definitely use Kay again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a florist.

Kay (Flowers for You) came as a recommendation from our Officiant Melissa Coe. What a recommendation it was! Kay's work is to die for. I was blown away by all the compliments during and after the wedding. We actually had a couple people "arguing" who got to take home the centerpieces! Her vision for our wedding was spot-on. The flowers are top notch, and so perfect (we had red roses, gardenias and white hydrangeas) Everything from the bouquets to the centerpieces to the candles were stunning. I highly recommend Kay for anyone getting married!!!

Kay with Flowers For You is an absolute gem in the floral world. I had met with a few florists prior to finding Kay and had been sorely disappointed. As soon as I set foot in her studio I knew she was "the one".
We had a general idea of what we wanted but Kay helped us fine tune our vision. We decided to go with Flowers For You early on in the wedding process (I'm talking like a year out from our wedding) and she was super helpful and always friendly whenever I had questions or wanted to make changes.

What can I say about Flowers For You other than wow, amazing, and breath-taking. I chose Kay from Flower for You to be the florist for my wedding on October 5th 2013. I am a visual person and had a very hard time putting into words what I wanted the flowers at my wedding to look like then I met with Kay and she made the process so easy! She was able to take my vision and made it the most beautiful reality. Kay made several suggestions of how I could incorporate the flowers from the ceremony into the reception in order to help save me money. Kay was incredibly sweet and easy to work with she even sent me a card after my wedding congratulating me and thanking me for allowing her to be part of my wedding, for me that speaks volumes not only about a person but also how they run their business. I received so many compliments on how beautiful my wedding was I know the flowers provided by Flower For You were a huge part of that. I also have to say that the flowers provided for my wedding continued to look beautiful and smell wonderful for weeks afterwards. I would give Flowers For You my highest recommendation.

I absolutely LOVED my flowers for my wedding!!!!! Kay did such and amazing job and was very easy to work with even when I was in my full on bride meltdown mode! She understood my vision that I had for my wedding and executed it PERFECTLY!! Its been two week since my wedding and I still have my bridal bouquet on display on my kitchen counter. Kay, aka Flowers For You, is simply AMAZING. Early on in our planning process, we stumbled into a bridal show, and there we stumbled into Kay. She's such a sweet person that she was apologizing to me for the rudeness of another bride and her mother who were trying to freeze me out from Kay's table--something that clearly wasn't Kay's fault! We met with Kay a few weeks after the show, where literally the only things I was able to tell her were 1) our theme was "vintage," 2) I liked pink but didn't want everything to be scary Barbie pink since we were having a fall wedding, and 3) here were a few pictures I liked on Pinterest. From that almost total dearth of information, Kay sprang into action, suggesting flowers, colors, and bouquet styles. We felt confident hiring her on the spot and never bothered to meet with another florist!
On our wedding day, I was a nervous wreck (like most brides are). But when I rounded the corner to walk down the aisle and saw the AMAZING bouquets Kay had designed for the aisle decor, my jaw nearly hit the ground. The best part is, because I didn't want to spend tons and tons on flowers, I had specifically asked for cheaper options on things like the aisle decor, but man, everything still looked like a million bucks!
Kay is a professional through and through, who really knows and loves what she does. Not only did she do our wedding, but as I recently discovered, she did our friends' wedding too, which was also amazing. There's a reason Kay is one of the highest rated florists in town. Plus, she is friendly and cheerful and simply a pleasure to work with. I highly, highly recommend Kay and Flowers For You!
