Wonderful experience, beautiful flowers!

Jenny at A Floral Affair Weddings & Events was truly a joy to work with. She took the time to hear about and understand my vision for our wedding and then magically, and seemingly with ease, translated that into the perfect flowers for our big day. And, she was incredibly affordable! I truly could not recommend them enough. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Jenny was amazing

Jenny was absolutely amazing. I sent her a picture of roses and succulents as a centerpiece and I got exactly what I wanted. They were so beautiful that it took my breath away. She also did my bouquet, boutonnières, corsages, and my girls bouquets as well, at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend A Floral Affair. Their creative talent made my wedding even more beautiful. Thank you 🙏

Beautiful flowers!

We got a bridal bouquet, a grooms boutonniere, 4 groomsmen boutonnieres, 3 bridesmaid bouquets, 3 garlands, evergreen pieces for some centerpieces, and rented numerous floating candles. We were a little unsure on what to expect, since the winter flowers and garlands we wanted were unlike anything A Floral Affair had photos of (that we could find), but everything turned out beautifully! Hopefully our photos will help future winter brides/grooms decide. One of the owners dropped off all our purchases and rentals - she arrived early and came through snow to get us everything. Everything looked beautiful!

Loved working with them!

I had the pleasure of working with Jenny and Angel and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! My ideas for the floral arrangements were all over the place (honestly, I had no idea what I was doing!), scattered across my Pinterest board, but Jenny and Angel managed to work within my budget and transform my vague preferences into beautiful arrangements. Their creativity and attention to detail were impressive, and I was thrilled with how everything turned out. They made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. If you're looking for a great florist for your wedding or any event, I highly recommend A Floral Affair. They deliver beautiful blooms and provide excellent customer service. Absolutely stunning!

Halloween Wedding

Not only did Angel & Jenny come up with all the floral ideas, because I was overwhelmed with all things wedding related, but they executed them perfectly! The wedding flowers were stunning & unique, perfect for our Halloween wedding. A Floral Affair is hands down the best florist you could possibly have for a wedding or event!

Beautiful Flowers

I highly recommend this vendor Angel She is easy to work with. She have a lot of great ideas with the way I want my wedding flowers to be. I was able to take it home with me after the wedding and it lasts for another two weeks. My sister-in-law that lives in Canada took some home with her and she said it last longer. Really worth the price. This is only the sneak peak of some of the photos I got from my phone. I am pretty sure the photos that our photographer got is better.

Goregous flowers made the day!

Angel and her team designed beautiful arrangements that many guests complemented. Her bouquets and other personal flowers were lovely. Also, she was responsive and flexible as the bridal party numbers changed. We'd highly recommend A Floral Affair!

I cannot praise A Floral Affair enough! They made all my wedding floral dreams come true. I felt that Angel and her daughter really listened to me, they were willing to work with all my ideas, and then turned out florals that were even better than the photos I had sent. I felt that their pricing was fair and the quality exceptional. I had provided them my own ribbons for the florals, but didn’t have quite enough for everything. Instead of detailing, they ordered additional similar ribbon that looked stunning. Everyone was easy to work with, responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone and everyone; great experience:)

Beautiful Flowers and Great Service

When my husband and I began wedding planning we thought we could try to save money with flowers by planning to do them ourselves; however, once we got closer to the day of, I realized what a big task that would. So we decided to hire a florist. Angel was so great to work with. She was very timely and responded quickly when I had any questions. I was so excited on the day of when she dropped everything off and overall incredibly thankful that we not only hired a professional but that we hired Angel's service. Everything turned out even better than I imagined. I would 100% recommend her work.

Loved working with Angel!

Angel was a pleasure to work work with. I didn't really know what I wanted for flowers, so she provided a great visual idea board with colors and flowers, and also asked for pictures of not only the dresses and suits of the bridal party, but also our mothers' and fathers' who were also getting personal flowers. Her attention to detail and responsiveness made the experience so great, and we ended up with absolutely beautiful flowers and centerpieces that were within our price range.

I had booked a large order for my original wedding, once covid hit and we had to reschedule Angel was super helpful and flexible we received our flowers delivered day of the wedding promptly and the bouquets and arrangements were gorgeous and fresh. Angel was a pleasure to work with and brought my floral vision to life! With it being a destination wedding, we discussed all the details over the phone/email for the planning process. Beautiful Floral Arrangements/Great pricing

Holly was an absolute pleasure to work with. She gave me ideas of what flowers are in during the Fall season and we went from there. My bouquet, boutonnieres, pillar flowers, half crows and corsage were all done in one place. The price was VERY reasonable. The communication is great...Holly was able to help me along the way as my need for other floral needs were growing. She delivered what flowers I needed at my house and then get the pillars and flowers over to my church. I would recommend A Floral Affair to anyone!

The best florist in Portland

Angel is unbelievably talented. She's been in the floral industry for a long time and she's so wonderful. I was very indecisive when it came to the colors and styles of flowers I wanted but Angel helped me put the vision together. I wanted to do something unique for my centerpieces and she came up with a gorgeous wreath of greenery and flowers to fit around the baskets of chips we were serving at the tables (see photos!). She is creative and can really pinpoint your style & budget to deliver your dream wedding flowers. Thank you, Angel.

Angel is so great to work with, she's very thorough and takes the time to explain things during the consult to make sure you get what you truly want. She also is quick at responding to any communication, which is always important in business. And the flowers themselves? Really an Angel

Angel was amazing to deal with. She worked with our budget while making sure we still had the look and colors we wanted. One thing that I really liked was that she took the time to explain why certain flowers would be better options than others and how they would hold up. Hands down, amazing.

Angel was the nicest person ever! I loved how honest she was with everything. I had talked to a couple other floralists and they either didn't listen to me or made me promises for flowers that were not going to be available during our wedding date. I let Angel do what she thought best and she knows what she is doing. I would pick her over and over again. All our flowers were so beautiful and exactly what we had imagined.

I had very limited knowledge about flowers, and A Floral Affair immediately put me at ease. Angel helped me create a vision board that encompassed my vision, and helped me define what I wanted at my wedding. She exceeded all of my expectations, and brought all of my ideas to life. On my wedding day, I got countless compliments on all of our floral arrangements. She demonstrated professionalism, flexibility, and an artistic vision that I desired out of my florist. Angel with A Floral Affair was so great to work with. From the start she was very professional and provided great suggestions and answered all of my questions. She worked with me to create a story board and a "vision" for the day. She was able to suggest alternate ideas that worked well for my budget. The flowers were absolutely beautiful I couldn't have been happier on my wedding day. I honestly don't even know where to start with my review of Angel and her services. We turned to her after our original wedding florist had significant performance issues. With just five weeks to go to our wedding, we called Angel based on great online reviews. She immediately set up a phone consult with us, and that one hour with her was the most informative and productive planning hour that we had with any vendor! Her ability to quickly understand our vision, use her website technology to visually show what she was recommending, and provide a great sense of comfort and professionalism were instrumental in the success of our wedding day. As we neared that day, the temperatures increased to significantly above average and we needed to make a few adjustments to the venue site plan. Angel was super accommodating on that as well and her final plan really maximized the visual impact of the venue. I would recommend Angel as the first (and likely last!) call any couple makes when planning wedding florals. Simply outstanding in every regard!!

Book now! Angel was a pleasure to work with- extremely professional, responsive, and knowledgeable. I cannot get over how beautiful the flowers turned out. Angel knew the venue inside and out and made great decisions with heights and placements of arrangements. Our guests could not stop asking what kind of flowers were in the bouquets. They were absolutely beautiful. Thank you for putting together a story board, working with our budget and for your hard work and inspiration.
Added note: Angel also made artificial replicas of the boutonnieres and corsages to send to older family members who could not travel to be at our wedding!

Angel made my bridal bouquet, groom's boutonniere and our bridesmaid's bouquet. Everything was very beautiful and well-arranged. Plus Angel was helped me with the wedding color patterns and how to select flowers locally for our center pieces. Angel is friendly, knowledgeable and organized. Angel was a delight to work with, from our very first meeting with her, up to our Day Of. She has a great set-up for helping the wedding couple define what their floral vision is for the big day. This was one of our favorite parts of the whole wedding planning process! Angel is adept at using technology to show different ideas and build an electronic story board showcasing the specific flowers selected, and examples of the types of bouquets, arrangements, and other floral pieces. She was very responsive anytime we reached out to her with a question, and she happily incorporated birdcages, birdhouses, and other pieces we brought in to her ahead of time. She created amazing floral displays for our wedding at Ainsworth House on 4/30/17, and we were thrilled with how it all turned out. We would highly recommend A Floral Affair!

Stunning! All our flowers were glorious. Angel is a no-nonsense lady- she knows what looks good together and helps direct you in the right direction. I am so glad we got lots of photos of the flowers because I was so nervous that I barely noticed my bouquet until I saw the lovely photos of them. We rented pillars from her, candles, vases...all were delivered and picked up that night, leaving us less to worry about. My favorite part of the choosing the florist was going to her home office and her showing us all the flower and greenery choices in different mediums== some cut flowers she had onsite, online with tons of individual flower pics and pics of bouquets already done. She is full of information and very educational. She is direct but respectful and overall a wonderful, professional, florist.

I am still in awe when looking at wedding pictures of the work by A Floral Affair (AFA) . I spoke to a few vendors who quoted DOUBLE our budget. When I contacted AFA, I was completely honest with what I had experienced thus far, what I wanted, and provided as much detail as I could. By the end of our conversation I confirmed I would be choosing AFA without a doubt and the price was completely within reason for my asks. I was overwhelmed with the professionalism and value of AFA, and will be referring friends & family in the future. I really liked that she used my Pinterest board to get a feel of my style at the start and was accommodating with minor changes less than 1 week before the event.

From the initial meeting, all the way through our wedding day, I was very impressed with our experience. Angel asked me about my budget up front, and never pushed me to spend more. In fact, she was extremely creative in coming up with ways to use the flowers that were the ceremony decor, for the reception, and it all looked AMAZING!

She was honest (and 100% correct) about what colors would look best against my skin tone, and helped come up with a look that exceeded my expectations! (She went above and beyond anticipating a potential "day of" issue, too)

Angel was extremely classy and professional to deal with. I HIGHLY recommend her, no matter what event you are needing flowers for.

You will not regret going through A Floral Affair, I promise!!!

You can immediately tell that Angel loves what she does and she made it a point to make sure my flowers were perfect!

Angel at A Floral Affair knows her stuff so well!! It's amazing! Even if you only have the slightest idea of your vision, but don't know how to make it all come together, she will build it into a reality, while working with your budget.

From our first meeting, my Mom and I knew that A Floral Affair was the best florist for my wedding. Angel showed so much care and AMAZING attention to detail on every step of the way. From initial planning, to corsage and bouquet wrap colors, down to the details of our centerpieces, she rocked it!

I don't even know where to start with how amazing working with Angel and A Floral Affair for our wedding was! Angel was so accommodating to all of our last minutes changes and was so good with suggesting types of flowers and colors to use! Not having any background knowledge on flowers, her recommendations and advice was wonderful to have!

The day of, Angel showed up early, got all of the tables set up promptly, pinned all the boutonnieres on the men, and made sure all the boutique were in water and ready to go. Not to mention what she did was BEAUTIFUL. The flowers really made the wedding gorgeous and come together so flawlessly.

HIGHLY recommend for any bride or groom!!

Angel can come across as a little dry over email, but is really very sweet and great to work with! She was very helpful in my consultation in figuring out what I really wanted out of my bouquets and centerpieces. Originally I had planned to attempt to arrange my own centerpieces day of and I'm so glad I had Angel do them instead! They looked wonderful, and everything was delivered right to the tables or myself. She is worth it!

I'm so pleased with A Floral Affair! Angel was wonderful to work with and is great at what she does! Going into our first meeting with Angel, I had no idea what I wanted. All I had was my colors. We started from the beginning and she was able to tell what I was leaning towards as far as styles and arrangements go just by showing me different pictures and judging my reaction. By the end of the appointment, we had all of the floral arrangements decided from bouquets to center pieces. And I could not be more pleased with how everything turned out! The flowers were breathtakingly beautiful and the colors matched perfectly with everything else. We had our wedding at the Abernethy Center, and since Floral Affair works with them, set up was effortless. And communication with Angel was swift and responsive. I always got a response to emails with a day or so. Overall, I am beyond happy with Angel and A Floral Affair and I would highly recommend her to anyone!!

Angel is absolutely amazing!! I wanted flowers that were a bright teal/blue color and she nailed it. When she dropped my flowers off I cried because they were so beautiful. Angel is truly amazing. She is so talented and really knows how to bring your wedding theme to life through flowers. We had a rustic winery wedding, and she brought in the best details including mason jars, burlap and lace to help our coral/tan color scheme pop without being too overwhelming. She also was great about adjusting the flower mix to meet our price point and helped us figure out what could be repurposed from the ceremony (such as the mason jar aisle markers) for center pieces. She's great!

We worked with A Floral Affair for flowers for our bridal party, our reception space, and our ceremony. They did an excellent job working with our color themes and getting a good variety of flowers into all of the arrangements. They even accommodated some late special requests, including flowers for a portion of our ceremony and flowers for friends who were members of my husbands fraternity and my sorority. They also did multiple drop offs just to accommodate our schedule, truly excellent experience. I highly recommend A Floral Affair to anyone who is getting married in oregon!

I met with many florists. Angel was the only one that met with my mom and I in person, discussed my color/flower preferences and sent me a detailed proposal with pictures of the flowers to be used for each arrangement (bouquets, gazebo arrangement etc). I ended up booking her late into the wedding season (I had a small order) and initially she wasn't going to be able to deliver (which was understandable). However, approximately a week before the wedding, she was able to make adjustments and promised to have someone deliver the flowers. I got to my venue at 3:30pm and the flowers were already there and looked beautiful ... I got multiple compliments on my bouquet. Thank you!

I got married at the World Trade Center in Portland on July 6, 2013. First of all, Angel is AMAZING. I had some "outside the box" ideas for what I wanted for my wedding. My colors were aqua and red and I wanted to have some bright red manzanita branches as part of my centerpieces. PERFECTION! Our wedding flowers were absolutely gorgeous! Angel is truly an artist, and she had the creative vision that we needed. I knew that I wanted a romantic, springtime feel to our wedding, but wasn't sure how to make that a reality. I may have frustrated her at times with my indecision, but she gave us wonderful suggestions and I trusted her expertise and knowledge. We were literally blown away at how perfect and beautiful our flowers turned out. Between the bouquets, corsages/boutonnieres, reception flowers, and cake flowers...it was magical. We used the mason jar arrangements as "aisle markers" on shepherd hooks, and then on the tables as centerpieces afterwards. It was more than we could have hoped for, and also at a reasonable price! Please don't hesitate to use Angel for your floral needs...you will be glad you did.

A Floral Affair seriously saved us! Our original florist took months to provide us with a contract and ended up doubling his initial quoted price. When I went to Angel, i didn't know what I wanted but I knew I needed flowers for our wedding. we knew the color theme and we knew we needed flowers for plan A&B due to weather. She came up with everything, I loved it all!!! She knew our budget and she worked around it! Everything we ordered worked either for plan A or plan B for our wedding. She even had a plan where we can tranfer all of our flowers to the reception after the ceremony. we also told her we wanted to keep our prep for the day of the wedding very minimal for family/friends so she did our center pieces (3 cylinder set/floating candles) and all other candles that were needed. she was amazing, responsive, responsible and flexible throughout the whole process!!!

Angel's shop is in her garage, it is so well organized, lots of examples and mock-ups for you to hold, touch, try out (that's what won me over, I could hold different sizes of bouquets and get a better idea of what would be comfortable, what size and style I was thinking of)... She is quick to email me a story board of the flowers you've talked about, quick to send revised contacts. She has LOTS of years of experience. She was willing to deliver to our ceremony flowers to our reception site (after the ceremony) so they could be repurposed there (a HUGE aspect of what we were looking for in a florist)! The only down side to our floral experience was that I really wanted blooming spring branches in our tall centerpieces but the branches did not bloom in time for the reception (VERY hard to force branches to bloom exactly when ya' want them!) but the budding branches and other flowers still looked BEAUTIFUL (just not the beautiful I was expecting)! Overall- a GREAT experience and would definitely use A Floral Affair again!

Angel at A Floral Affair agreed to meet with us on short notice when we flew in from out of state 2 1/2 months before our daughter's wedding to finalize details. She talked with our daughter before the meeting and with limited information about preferences for style and color, had suggestions for floral and foliage colors and textures that worked really well together. The somewhat unusual combination of ivory, silvery gray, and green was beautiful. Three of the bridesmaids were on the same flight home with us and they liked their bouquets so well they chose to take them home as a memento of the day. It was fun to see them walking down the concourse with their bouquets. In addition, Angel stepped up and prepared floral embellishments for the wedding cake in a last minute change. Delivery and set up were prompt and the services were artistic and professional. As an out of state mother of the bride, I highly recommend this florist.

We had minimal flowers but they were orange and had a huge impact on the look and feel of our wedding. Angel was fantastic to work with and answered my questions in a timely manner. The best thing that she and her team did were our vintage door backdrop. She created them and we were the first to experience them. They are beautiful white vintage doors that can be propped open or closed. She hung an orange floral arrangement in the center of the open doors for us and it was so beautiful. It was absolutely perfect and exactly how we imagined. At the end of the ceremony we walked back down the aisle to Pete Townshend's "Let My Love Open the Door". There was too much cheering for anyone to notice the pun, but we knew :)

All we ordered were boutonniere's and corsage's, which were beautiful! The flowers used were as gorgeous as the website showed them. Thank you Angel and the Floral Affair staff!

Sorry but there wasn't an appropriate category for my mother's memorial service, so I used birthday. A Floral Affair provided beautiful flowers for my mom's Celebration of Life. Angel was extremely sensitive to my needs and our desire to incorporate pansies (my mom's favorite flowers) into the arrangement, along with a framed photo of my mother and a quilt that Mom had made. The flowers looked like an old fashioned English garden and were the perfect reflection of my mother's love of flowers and all things antique. Many of our guests commented on the gorgeous arrangement. The flowers couldn't have been more "Mom"! She would have loved them. Angel's assistance in being able to honor her and contributing to her day is deeply appreciated by me, my father, and the rest of our family. Angel is my "go-to-gal" now for all of my floral needs! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her for any event. You will get flowers that will be cherished and remembered.

My husband and I recently got married on 12-12-12 and we worked with A floral Affair for our wedding flowers, and we couldn't have been happier! Angel was simply AMAZING! When we went to look at florists for our wedding, my husband and I had no idea where to even start. We felt overwhelmed and lost, but Angel helped us out Step by Step. Even after only the first meeting with Angel, we felt better than ever about our choice of florist! She wasn't just there to help us pick wedding flowers, but she helped bring our whole wedding together. We had so many ideas/themes for our wedding, that we were lost on how to make everything come together. Angel helped to get us on the right track with focusing our theme, and tying everything together through the floral arrangements. After meeting with Angle, my husband and I walked away feeling so relieved like a great weight had been lifted. She was quick on responding to all of our questions, and very helpful and open with lots of suggestions and ideas. She is there to make your wedding the fairytale day that you are looking for. My husband and I couldn't have been happier with her services, and the floral arrangements the day of the wedding were PHENOMENAL!!! We would highly recommend her services for your special day as well!!

I don't live within the area so I did everything over the phone and email. Everything turned out wonderful, the floral arrangements were perfect and more than I expected. The day if the wedding I completely forgot to have someone meet her at the venue while I was at the spa. Angel was very flexible and understood everything, she was great.

Angel was so great to work with, I sent her pictures of what I was envisioning and my budget, and she created such beautiful work, it was all so perfect. She was extremely flexible, responded quickly to my many emails, and let me use some of my own glassware and crystals to better serve my budget. My bouquets, centerpieces, and aisle arrangements looked exactly like my inspiration photos and everyone commented for weeks to come how beautiful my event was, couldn't have done it without her!

They did a wonderful job with my flowers. She did the center pieces/aisle markers, bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages. I didn't give her to many specifics on what i wanted just a generic overview, and they were lovely.

I worked with Angel for my daughter's wedding. We met with her and gave her our ideas and from that she was able to nail the feel and style of wedding flowers my daughter was looking for. Angel has great ideas and is so willing to do any legwork necessary to bring your vision to life. She was amazing the day of the wedding. She did some presto chango magic and transformed our pew boquets into beautiful accent pieces at the reception site. All of the flowers were absolutely beautiful and we received so many comments on them. It was as if she personally nurtured each and every rose to be at just the right bloom for each boquet. STUNNING! I would highly recommend Angel. Her love of what she does definitely is seen in her arrangements. She was easy to work with and focused on making sure the bride's vision is what she will be bringing to life. She did just that. My daughter couldn't have been more happy.

I was very impressed with all the flowers, bouquets, and even the customized flower girl baskets! It was very lovely, and was a great addition to the wedding. I would recommend anyone to have their flower arrangements done here. The detail is absolutely fantastic!
