This cake was AMAZING!! Do yourself a favor and have Leslie make you a cake for your wedding or any event really.
I have heard from a lot of people that wedding cakes usually do not taste very good and that honestly you should just skip it. The cake that Leslie made for our wedding was not just stunning to look at but every single flavor was delicious. She had such fun ones too! We did want boring vanilla or chocolate cake and she completely delivered. We had a white satin cake with layers of fresh raspberries and whipped cream, chocolate cake perfectly complimented by dark chocolate ganache and crushed English toffee, vanilla bean cake with caramel buttercream and caramelized sugar bits that added flavor and texture, and finally - the layer I was most excited about - Leslie’s lemon berry flavor was amazing. I am a huge fan of lemon desserts, the more tart the better. She struck a beautiful balance. Letting the tartness come through but complimented by sweetness. Our wedding planner even said that in over a decade of working at weddings that it was the best cake she’s ever had at a wedding and she ended up trying every flavor. Thank you so much Leslie for delivering on every single level! You were so fun to work with and our cake was gorgeous.

This is one of those rare cases when almost all of the wedding guests RAVED about the TASTE of the wedding cake. (Honestly, not an exaggeration.) It was so incredibly good. We opted for an almost naked three tier round cake with three different flavors: lemon lavender, snickerdoodle, and vanilla. All three were delicious and moist with perfect buttercream frosting. -

Leslie makes some of the best cake I have ever tried! I wasn't sure I wanted a cake but when she sent me samples I literally wanted to have a 6 tier cake so we didn't have to choose. All were amazing. We went for banana creme and coconut passion fruit which were BEYOND. She was not available on our wedding date and I was really sad about it but she suggested I have the cake delivered the day before. It was so great of her to fit me in and work with me to make sure I got the best damn cake for my wedding. So sad she doesn't have a store front anymore! Will definitely be ordering cake for every anniversary if she will let us!

Fantasy Frostings was recommended to us by a friend and I will thank her forever. The cake is so delicious and the flavors don't disappoint. We did a smaller crème brûlée flavored cake with a flower design and many many cupcakes. I swear I saw one woman getting thirds. They delivered the cake to the venue and made my life so easy. I guess I'm saying this is the best cake ever. -

Our wedding cake from Leslie was, without a doubt, the best cake I’ve ever eaten. Our only regret is not getting a larger cake so we could have taken some home with us— our guests loved it so much that there wasn’t any left by the end of the night! The cake was absolutely gorgeous and looked exactly like the inspiration photos we went over with Leslie. Highly recommend! -

Trevor and I met with Leslie in December 2019 in the bakery to do a cake tasting. She was recommended by our wedding venue. Every flavor was amazing but the one that stood out was the Lemon Berry. Leslie took our idea of doing a dessert bar and exceeded my expectations. She educated me on the number of sweets you really need, and which desserts are the best for different groups of people. She knew the logistics behind the number of guests, number of pieces and to avoid having a plate to prevent wasted sweets.
Unfortunately, we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and Leslie was so easy to work with. We pushed the contract a year over. Come 2021, some flavors and/or items were not on the menu, but Leslie made sure to substitution or replace those items with something just as good.
EVERYONE LOVED HER DESSERTS! We reserved the 8” round wedding cake just for us and instead did a cupcake version so we do not need to slice and distribute slices of cake. All the guests kept asking me about where the desserts came from and that made me feel good. Desserts can make or break your guests’ experience at your wedding.
Leslie, I admire your resilience during this time, your years of service and dedication into baking. You are a master at what you do, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds. I will be back!

We did a bunch of wedding cake tastings before landing at Fantasy Frostings and meeting Leslie. Not a single bakery held a candle to her cakes and her buttercream frosting. We are foodies and dessert lovers so we wanted the cake to have the perfect vibe.
We knew right away we had found our baker and our cakes. We chose 4 flavors over three wedding cakes. We showed pics of exactly how we wanted them frosted. Inspired by Meghan Markle’s wedding cakes.
They arrived on time at the venue and were all perfection in bake, look and taste. Moist, delicious and beautiful—and you simply won’t find a better tasting frosting in Los Angeles—hands down
Leslie was wonderful to work with—a true expert in her field—and we will be back for all our cakes going forward.
If you’re getting married and your cake is important to you—and you want to knock all your guests socks off when it comes to taste. The buck stops here. We can’t recommend FF enough!

My daughter needed their cutting cake to be gluten-free and Fantasy Frostings made her the MOST delicious, (unbelievably) gluten-free wedding cake I have ever tasted. I say unbelievably because it was light and airy and so delish and usually gluten-free baked goods are dense and heavy and ugh! Plus they made us wonderful cakepops and these shotglass desserts that were out of this world! -

We hired Fantasy Frostings to make the cake and all of our desserts for our recent wedding. We worked directly with Leslie and she was a saint:
1. She knew about how many desserts were needed for a dessert bar for our guest count
2. She knew our wedding venue, had created desserts for it before and knew that since it was outdoors, some of her desserts wouldn't hold up well and instead recommended ones that would
3. She was able to create an absolute masterpiece of a cake for myself and my bride on top of it all.
We had 7 different dessert types at the dessert bar, plus our special cake for ourselves and by the end of the night everything was devoured because of how amazing it all was. Everyone loved everything!
Would highly recommend Leslie and Fantasy Frostings for your event. She does SUCH a good job. -

Almost a month after our wedding my husband and I are still being asked by guests "who made the cake". The Italian Creme Cake is to die for - I can hardly wait for my birthday so I have an excuse to call Leslie and order another cake. -

I reached out to Fantasy Frostings as they created my oldest sister's wedding cake in 2011. I worked with Leslie who was truly able to deliver on our vision of buttercream pallet knife flowers. We ordered Creme Brulee flavor for our top tier and Triple Berry for the bottom tier - both tasted absolutely amazing! -

Sahar Sent on 03/14/2012Fantasy Frosings made such a beautiful and tasty cake for our Wedding! We love them because they are UNIQUE! Their flavors are classic with just a twist! Who wants boring wedding cakes?! Not only are they tasty which is a HUGE plus, but, they are BEAUTIFUL! Leslie Maynor really took our Spanish Theme into account and just created this beautiful most amazing masterpiece!
We had 2 flavors: The White Satin, an old fashioned white cake filled with layers of white chocolate mousse and shaved dark chocolate alternating with fresh raspberries and whipped creme, and The Chocolate Fudge Surprise, dense, dark chocolate layers glorified with dark chocolate mousse and a rich layer of ganache with crushed English toffee.
Fantasy Frostings has done tons of celebrity weddings and its nice to see that they are still realistic and down to earth. Their pricing is affordable for any budget. They really work within your budget.
This was the best tasting cake I HAVE EVER had! Her other flavors are amazing also! It was really hard to pick! Our guests loved the cake so much, some wanted seconds! We love her cakes and will continue to order our cakes from Fantasy Frostings! -

Bottom Tier Disaster
Purchased a two tier cake from Fantasy Frostings. The cake was decorated beautifully and arrived on time. The cake content on the bottom tier was a disaster. The cake was dry, bland, and falling apart. The top tier was flavorful, sweet, and moist. The owner didn’t believe that the bottom tier cake had problems so she disregarded my concerns. She demanded a cake sample and didn’t want to see pictures although it’s very clear that the cake is very dry in posted images. Dealing with my issue was a “waste” of her time since she is busy filling other people’s orders. The owner is very arrogant and doesn’t take care of her customers when her bakery staff botches a product from her kitchen. -
