Don't go anywhere else! Rob and his staff at EIB are miracle workers. They will take all of your wedding dreams and make them come true. Rob's creativity and attention to detail is amazing. The quality of the flowers he uses is first class, and all of his furniture, linens, props and miscellaneous containers are very stylish, beautiful and affordable.
Our daughter got married this past June. We were using a relatively new venue and wanted to try a layout concept that had never been used there. Rob took his time with us to design and use the available space down to the last detail. It could not have turned out more perfect. People are still talking about it!
We had our vision, and Rob exceeded it beyond our greatest expectations. Did I mention he's a perfectionist, a gentleman and also extremely entertaining? He made the whole experience fun, and we would recommend going straight to Events In Bloom for all your wedding floral needs. You will not be disappointed, and soon it will be your gorgeous wedding that everyone is talking about.

Rob. Is. The. Best. He was an absolute delight to work with, and weeks after my wedding, people who I haven't heard from in ages have reached out to me to let me know how beautiful the wedding was. And that is thanks to Rob! His design is and was STUNNING. He listened to what I wanted both my reception and my ceremony to look like and to feel like...and it was better than I ever could have imagined. Rob truly made my dreams come true on my wedding day. What more could you ask for? I cannot recommend him enough.

EIB did a wonderful job at my ceremony and reception. We received many compliments... several friends even took the time to mail handwritten letters detailing how impressed they were with the flowers. I highly recommend EIB for any formal event. Their artistry will be noticed.

Rob is very creative and talented! He is willing to work with his clients and is much fun to be around! My daughter (the bride), my husband and I all liked him immensely. His flowers were fresh and sensational! Many friends said that our venue was the prettiest that they had ever seen it! He is worth every penny!

Rob an the EIB team are simply amazing! They did such a wonderful job at our wedding and rehearsal dinner, and all of the floral and decor was breathtaking. They really were able to transform a space into something magical, and working with them was such a pleasure. Rob is phenomenal, and I HIGHLY recommend his services to anyone looking for a florist (and so much more) in Houston.

Working with Rob could not have been more of a dream! I had a specific vision in mind, and he made everything I wanted plus some a reality - and he did it all without me worrying about a single thing. He is kind and professional, flexible and hilarious to be around. Everything from Events in Bloom was absolute perfection, and I can't imagine working with anyone else ever - Rob made our day perfect!

I couldn't have been happier with the way my wedding looked. Rob's creative savvy was a great fit with my wedding coordinator. I gave them a near-impossible task of incorporating a porch swing into my reception. They did it with ease. Wonderful group to work with!

We worked with Rob from Events in Bloom and all that I can say is WOW!!!! He is amazing and so talented. He was able to take our vision and make it a reality. The best part is that he has such an eye for design and brings his own creativity and talent to the wedding! He made the day magical and we can't thank him enough! If you want to have the WOW factor for your wedding Events in Bloom is hands-down the way to go!!

Rob and his team created an amazing space for my daughter's wedding ceremony and reception! It far exceeded our expectations, which were already over-the-top. He took a large ballroom and filled it in a way that made it elegant and romantic and made our 60 guests not feel like they were the only ones who showed up to what should have been a much larger crowd. His creative use of furniture, flowers and candles were what you see on TV celebrity weddings. Our guests were beyond impressed, saying they had never seen anything so spectacular. Immediately following our first meeting with Rob, my daughter and I referred to him as "David Tutera" because we could tell he was way more than just a florist... he was indeed an amazing event designer. Rob and Events in Bloom were exceptional in providing the Floral arrangement for the Kroon/Hubbard wedding on 9/20/2014. He was instrumental 6 months ago in picking the flowers that would fit in the wedding venue. He knew the venue and provided valuable information and past pictures of what woud fit where. He was also reasonably priced and had everything there at the venue on time. He made the floral arrangement as 1 stop visit so we could move on to other wedding items.

Rob did both of my Daughter's weddings.
Molly 4 years ago, now Morgan last weekend.
they were both 2 totally different weddings.
He nailed it on both!
The first was very edgy, the second very romantic!

Rob Smith and the Events In Bloom team are absolutely FABULOUS!!!! Rob knows how to take every detail and every dream you have ever wanted or imagined and make it a reality. He is patient, creative beyond belief, extremely talented and so much fun to work with. My wedding was on January 4th, 2014 and there is not a single thing that Rob did not think of - his attention to detail was incredible. From the flower arrangements on the tables to the furniture and decor - everything was perfect. I had extremely high expectations for my big day and Rob no doubt exceeded them. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Rob and Events In Bloom and I will use any excuse I have to work with him in the future. I will forever recommend Rob and Events In Bloom to every person I know getting married, having a baby shower or even a fabulous birthday party. He is what made my wedding the wedding I had always dreamed of. Perfection is the only way to describe his work. I love Rob and his team!!!

Rob S. transformed my daughter's vision into reality for her wedding. He is hands down the best floral/decor vendor in Houston. Please take the time to meet with him. You will not be disappointed. Rob will help you maximize the visual impact of your budget at your venues. He has been around long enough that he tries to make each event a little different from the others. I appreciate that; because, wedding flowers can all begin to look the same sometimes. Not with Rob and the amazing staff at Events in Bloom. GENIUS.

Wow! Rob Smith and the entire Events In Bloom team are fantastic! Rob’s combination of talent, style, and taste helped create a unique and beautiful look for our wedding and reception. Rob was respectful of our budget, patient with me and my family, and best of all- fun to work with.

I am a very visual person and had trouble imagining how everything would look in the event space. Every time we met with Rob he had mock ups and examples of different options ready for me to see. When we began planning I only had a few ideas of what I liked and he turned them into something I couldn’t have imagined!

I really could not have asked for a better experience. I posted some pictures from our wedding to show just how amazing some of Rob’s work is!

Unbelievable! Rob should be getting 5 star all the way. His quality of work is amazing, work ethic and willingness to provide perfection is remarkable. Personable and a pleasure to work with. His inventory is HUGE, allowing you to personalize your look, not just with the same vase like some vendors. He has been featured in books for the quality of his work.

Events in Bloom...highly highly highly recommend!! Rob did my daughter's wedding on March 24th at Hotel Zaza. Words can't even begin to describe how Rob turned the wedding and the Phantom Ballroom into something you would see on the cover of a magazine! Rob is a pro..his design, his skill, his technique, his style, his devotion, his passion is EXTRAORDINARY!! Our wedding planner took us in the ballroom before letting anyone in. When the doors opened my mouth dropped and tears filled my eyes. We were blown away with Rob's creation!! Of course Rob was right there doing the final touches along with his amazing crew. I could not thank this man enough. He made my daughter's wedding so special. I have had numerous and numerous compliments on her wedding. The flowers and decor was an important aspect of her wedding. Rob came through with flying colors. He knows what he is doing. Especially when your guest are coming up to you and telling you just how remarkable and phenomenal the wedding looks. The flowers were so fresh, so gorgeous, so bold and smelled so good! Nothing like I have ever seen before nor our guest. If you want a fabulous wedding Rob will make it happen for you!! OVER THE TOP! With planning my daughter's wedding Rob walked us through everything. Gave us options. He was very considerate to our needs and was never pushy at all. Takes his job serious. He gave us descriptions, drawings, displays and pictures of everything. Pays close attention to detail very meticulous. Rob is very professional. Always on time, returned our calls or emails immediately never missed a meeting. My daughter's wedding was in Rob's hands...he had a vision..and this vision was so meaningful and so rememberable. Rob is THE BEST, hands down! He listened, he offered advice but wasn't pushy. He worked with my daughter, even taking her to the warehouse to show her different types of flowers that he had in mind for her arrangements after she told him she wanted alot of COLOR! He took time to make up arrangements for her to see. The end product was that The Rice Hotel ballroom had never looked lovelier once Rob had added his special touches to each table, from the candles to the smaller arrangements to the large, on-of-a-kind masterpieces!
Once Rob talks to the bride (and her mom, of course!), HE GETS IT................. That is unusual for a creative person. Often they want to do it their way, but not Rob. He wants his brides to be happy. He can do any kind of work. For my daughter's wedding, it was very classy, but not overdone. The look he created was one of romance and celebration! And he happily worked with her budget, which also is not often done, especially in a large city. I can't say enough about the talent, professionalism and enthusiasm of this great designer!

Rob is absolutely hands down the best florist in Houston. Every other vendor that I worked with even told me that Rob is the best. He took the time to show us previous work he had done and took us to look at flowers and let us pick what we liked and he put it all together. The ceremony was unbelievable and the reception was too. Our guests are still talking about how amazing our tables looked at the reception. I loved working with Rob, he is a genius!

Rob and his team at Events In Bloom completely made my vision for our wedding come to life. I wanted a French garden vibe that embodied romance and elegance and they delivered spot on. Some of the details I requested were not things they had done before, and I so appreciated them working with me to make it happen (and then some!). Many of our guests could not stop talking about how incredible the floral and decor were, and as flowers were very important for me, I wanted them to be perfect. The quailty of the flowers were beautiful - many vendors I had visited prior had flowers going out that looked half dead. The bouquets and arrangements were very fresh and vibrant. I also asked to make some changes after our demo and Rob was very accommodating. I will never forget how beautiful our ceremony and the ballroom looked. They were fabulous to work with and really executed beyond my expectations!

Weeks have past since my wedding and I am still thinking about the flowers and décor. They were PERFECT and I owe it all to Rob & his awesome team at EIB. Rob was wonderful to work with, he listened to our ideas, collaborated with us, and created the most beautiful floral arrangements and atmosphere. I felt like we actually got more than we expected. I would highly recommend Events In Bloom to anyone looking to work with a creative and adaptive professional!

It is important to note that we had a different florist signed up and only 3 months before the wedding that situation turned into a nightmare! My event planner then recommended we meet with Rob from EIB and as soon as we did, we knew he was the florist for us! He was able to bring to life everything that I had been envisioning in my head and MORE! He took the time to understand our needs, gave his honest input, and created a dream event. The flowers were gorgeous. Every little detail was divine.

Thank you to Rob & EIB for creating my dream wedding...it wouldn't have been the same without your touch!

This is one of the hardest vendors to have. Flowers cost more than you think and if you want them,especially done really well, that’s the bottom line. As you’ll read, Rob has a lot of five star reviews - with myself being the latest. That’s because his work is outstanding without question. I was married in a large space that could be hard to decorate on a budget and Rob made that happen. I liked that EIB also doesn’t just do flowers - it had my tablecloths -and nearly all my other rentals (unique tables, decorations, etc) which gave our wedding a personalized touch and brought the vision true. Also because he has so many great different types of things, I saved the hassle of having to deal with (and pay delivery fees on) too many different vendors. He provides mockups of his ideas, floor designs, etc. He took a considerable time with me. In the not so great reviews below, there’s a few themes and I’m going to touch on these because I think there is some misunderstanding on the client part. Some things I had to learn. First, Rob is not just a florist - he’s a designer. Therefore he’s going to recommend what he thinks creates the vision and it’s up to you to decide if you like that, want to add to it or takeaway. You communicate a budget, his first proposal will likely be well over that but that’s only to show you all possibilities and then decide what to keep or subtract. Believe me, I got to my number and was surprised when I saw the full vision from Rob, how when my ideas from Pinterest were all put together and laid out with Robs, some places where I thought I really wanted to allocate money - I didn’t. It’s really hard to have these conversations and revelations if you tell him exactly what to do and don’t let him design — to discuss it. Secondly, you can have multiple meetings but they need to be scheduled. He’s either busy with clients in store, at and event or designing. I had absolutely no issues communicating with him and when we did talk, I had full attn

Rob was amazing to work with and I am so glad I chose him to be my florist. He went above and beyond for our wedding and I was blown away when I saw my flowers the day of. He worked with us to be within our budget and was still able to give us Platinum Wedding feel. He can be a little hard to get ahold of but because he is truly so talented I recommend brides not get discouraged when using him, you will not be disappointed!

I enjoyed working with Rob. When you talk with him, ideas just flow through his head. I am not good at being creative, so it really help to have Events in Bloom decorate for my wedding. When I saw the flowers and decorations, I was shocked at how beautiful it was. It was more than I imagined. Rob was flexible to adjust the invoice to within our budget. At the last minute we had him bid my reception in addition to my ceremony, and he was able to come through and exceed my expectations. I had showed him stuff that I liked, and he made it even more beautiful than I could have imagined. I would highly suggest using Events in Bloom!

Rob at Events in Bloom does EXCEPTIONAL work. He is at times difficult to get in contact with, and I had trouble receiving my invoices in a timely fashion; however, the arrangements he does are art. They are not just flowers. He has wonderful ideas and is dedicated to making your wedding look beautiful. I also really appreciated that he did not try to push a bunch of things I didn't want on me. For our preliminary pricing, we added many different arrangements, linens, and other decor elements that I wasn't sure I wanted to use. When I just wanted to do the bare minimum for flowers in the end, he just took those off with just an "okay," and we went on with our planning. I loved how I got exactly what I wanted with no headache or guilt trip from him.

I recommend him without hesitation.

The flowers were gorgeous!!! They made the wedding look very elegant. I had some trouble contacting them after our initial meeting because the person I spoke with ended up leaving. I wasn't aware of that until I called myself. I just wished they would have told me about that. However, once I actually spoke to Rob Smith, it turned out great. I told him about my budget and he really worked with me. Our centerpieces were beautiful!!! I was fairly happy with his work. The services are a little expensive but at the end, it's worth it.

Let me start by saying that the flowers for my wedding were perfect - simple and elegant, yet stunningly beautiful. Rob listened to exactly what I wanted, and worked within my budget very well. And I did not have a large budget (I told him I wanted to spend less than $1000). We got so many compliments on them and our priest even wants to purchase the vases that were used to hold the two masses of hydrangeas on the altar.

My only complaint/concern is that during the process, I needed to get ahold of Rob and could not get him for a few weeks either by phone or email. His receptionist is REALLY nice and was patient with my calls. I had started to get worried and we finally connected when I dug up his cell phone number. But, in the end when it counted, he came through with exactly what he promised!

My flowers were gorgeous and unconventional and the people w/whom I worked were very nice. However, no one transported the flower arrangements from the ceremony to the reception as was supposed to happen, so we never really go to enjoy them. Also, when my matron of honor arrived at the reception, the flowers that were supposed to be placed on the cake by the florist were in a cup next to a completely blank cake so my matron of honor did an impromptu arrangement while waiting for us to arrive at the reception.

Apparently the person who was supposed to handle all the transport/cake stuff got the flu or something but we were not informed of that at any time. We asked for a partial refund, which we did receive.

I think this was just bad luck due to someone's illness - I would still highly recommend their service since their flowers were so innovative and gorgeous.

Rob had come highly recommended to us and after our first meeting i was extremely pumped about working with him. He promised we'd go to the flower market and look at stuff and I was genuinely thrilled. Months later I had to beg and plead and have my coordinator plead, too, for a proposal. We finally got the proposal about a month before the wedding and though it was pricey, I wanted my dream day and the vision we had discussed, and we went forward. The day of the wedding was a disaster. Rob did NOT show up. He sent a contractor whom I'd never seen or met with a list and a truck of flowers, and it was all WRONG. We were short lighting fixtures, every vase was incorrect, we had the wrong number of Bridesmaids bouquets and they were so skimpy, and the white roses were very peachy overall. The contractor Rob sent (who arrived hours later than expected) was snippy and defensive as we were feaking out with no time to fix anything. My guests did not notice that EVERY detail was incorrect , and I am not one to dwell on it, but I was so crestfallen to have it all wrong and then have Rob stand us up without forewarning us he would not be the one there. Overall, it lacked the finesse that everyone had hailed Rob for, and was utterly worng. We were horribly dissappointed and even offended.

I was so excited when i booked events in bloom for my wedding. I visited the office and left completely satisfied with what we were going to do. I received the estimate and booked him knowing things could be "cut down" to stay within my budget. My next meeting to finalize the flowers definately proved me wrong. I couldnt get him to come up with ideas within my budget. He just didnt understand that when i say i can spend $4000 on flowers that doesnt mean....$7,000 is close enough. Once i conveyed to him I had to stay within my budget and asked for alternative ideas he completely started ignoring my emails and wouldnt return any of my phone calls. This was all happening about 20 days before my wedding!!! I finally had to tell him I was only going to use him for my ceremony flowers. I quickly found an alternative florist who did more than he was going to do for $500 under my budget. Since I was still using him for my ceremony flowers i called and paid the balance and scheduled a time for the flowers to be picked up. On the day of my wedding i get a frantic phone call from my wedding coordinator that Rob was witholding the flowers b/c I had not paid. I called and left my credit card number with him 10 days PRIOR!!!! I gave it to him again and then 10 minutes later he found the note that had been made in my file with my payment information. He didnt even apologize. When my flowers finally arrived I was so dissapointed. I had used Rob for my Bridal Portrait bouquet and loved It! I has specified I wanted my bouquet for the wedding exactly the same as the one made for my bridal portrait. When i saw it, it was half the size and he didnt put the crystals in it I had requested and PAID FOR. I paid over $250 for a tiny bouquet. My bridesmaids bouquet's were very small as well. All in All...unless you have an unlimited Flower budget....Rob is not the person to work with. He doesnt understand a budget and wont work with you on it. He simply ignores you.

I was SO disappointed with this vendor. The flowers were very pretty (although not what I wanted, wrong color and the bridesmaids flowers were not as I asked) but the service was awful. They wanted to charge more than $6,000 for flowers and simple centerpieces. I specially gave them a budget and each time they created a a new estimate it would be at least $1,000 over the budget. Eventually I was told, "For it to look nice you need to do this. I guess it's just not in YOUR budget." I was shocked by how horribly RUDE they were. I was spending $4,000 on flowers and they treated my like I was poor. It was really upsetting. Then, they showed up 45 mins. late to my bridal portrait with my flowers, and THEN at my wedding they were paid to set up the tables (just to put candlelabras on in the center and lite candles, etc.) and they DIDNT DO IT. My groomsmen were setting up the arrangements. It was horrible service and they were VERY rude and not helpful. Unless you have a very large budget I do not recommend this vendor at all. They will treat you like you are not worth their time. I was told that my venue will not use them anymore either, they were very disappointed in their services as well.

DO NOT HIRE ROB OR EVENTS IN BLOOM. Awful decision. His utter lack of professionalism, character, business practice, was completely and utterly unacceptable. He went back on his word, dodges phone calls, and enforced and inequitable provision in a contract. I will never do business at this establishment again and will warn away anyone thinking of hiring this man or company to do anything due to their unfair, misleading, and borderline corrupt business practice.
