    Very nice and local

    I had trouble finding a rental place that wasn't in Portland, until I found this Events etc. NW. Very quick with replying on emails and working with me adding and taking things off of my order, ya know being an indecisive bride. They even deliver which was amazing! I was even able to get all my stuff the day before the wedding so everything was set up and done. Jason helped out a lot and was very flexible to my needs. Would recommend!

    Meagan and Jason were easy and fun to work with. Meagan helped me with planning and coordination. She made my vision come true. The venue was beautiful and everything went very smooth. The rental process was easy and affordable. They were friendly, professional, and helpful.

    I would highly recommend Events Etc NW! I looked around at a lot of different places and Events Etc NW was without a doubt the easiest to communicate with and their prices were great and worked well with my budget!!! I made many changes to my order and they were very patient and accommodating. I delivery was right on time and accurate!

    Jason and his staff at Events Etc NW were a wonderful company to work with for our recent wedding. We met Jason at a wedding show.
    We rented several items- mason jars for vases, lawn games (guests loved them!), candy buffet jars and scoops, and a pop-up screen to show a film on. All items were quality and given to me professionally cleaned and all I had to do was return them and they did the clean-up.

    Jason was absolutely wonderful to work with! He made our wedding rental experience a breeze. He was always available and always eager to help us. Our venue was very far outside the city and in an unusual place and the service we received from Jason was spectacular. No matter what we asked for, even if it seemed impossible, Jason was always willing to go above and beyond to make it work. We had received some terrible customer service from other rental companies in the area and were very very happy to work with Jason. The prices and services are absolutely unbeatable. If we had to pick the best wedding vendor we had, we would have to go with Events Etc NW. If you need a rental company for any of your needs in the greater Portland metro area, save yourself the headache and chose Events Etc NW.

    Jason was really great at helping us with different ideas and being flexible with making changes as we got closer to the wedding. He has a great attitude and is a wonderful person to work with. I highly recommend Events Etc NW to anyone looking for rentals for any type of event.

    Came from out of State, Events NW was very helpful, filled in with items that I needed that I couldn't bring or buy. Delivered order in a timely fashion. I would like to recommend them for event.

    This is the second year we have rented from Events Etc NW for our school auction gala and once again they did not disappoint! This year the focus was on our schools 40th anniversary so we wanted a decor that was classy and not clash with the school's gymnasium. We went with a beautiful damask table cover and black and white napkins with an elegant silver candle holder.

    Jason was very helpful, flexible, pro active, responded timely and was always professional and courteous. Quality products. The burlap napkins holders which fit the trial napkin in his store ended up not fitting over our venue napkins. Though no fault of Events etc, we were issued a refund with a smile; good customer service.

    The staff at Events Etc NW went above and beyond our expectations. They provided everything we asked for and more. They put our wedding venue together with such brilliant execution. My mother-in-law went as far as to say it was the nicest wedding she had ever been to. Meagan ensures that the events of wedding transpired seamlessly. Our day would not have been the same without them.

    events etc has helped me with a variety of events over the years and I've always been thrilled with the process and outcome. Anything from simply renting tables and chairs to throwing a big event. Summer BBQ, New Year's Eve party, baby shower and even renting holiday table settings. Go to their office to check out the warehouse full of inspiration and anything you'll need.

    Jason and Meagan Gates went over the top assisting with our schools auction fundraiser. We had a Hollywood Red Carpet themed event. It was very elegantly decorated all the way down to the formal invitations up to the formal chandeliers. Our school gymnasium was transformed beautifully.

    I would call on Events Etc NW for all of my event planning needs.

    We had two of our sons weddings done with Events Etc. NW and they both were so beautiful!! We couldn't have asked for more!! Now I look forward to a 35 year anniversary and Events Etc.     The staff was so patient and helpful when planning my wedding. They were able to take my small ideas and turn it into more than I could have imagined! They worked with my budget and were able to offer so many different options. The staff set it up and tore it down so my guests and family didn't have to worry about anything. Professional service from beginning to end. Thanks Events Etc. For making my dream wedding come true!

    We had our wedding in Edmonds Wa. The staff was there right on time coming from out of state. Set up was quick and everything turned out amazing. We had a last minute change with the music and they stepped right in and took care of it without a hitch. Their professionalism was outstanding. They made our wedding something we can cherish forever. We highly recommend this company for any event services or rentals you need. They are at the top of their profession.

    Would recommend this company to anyone. I have used them for multiple events big and small. If you aren't using Events Etc NW you are doing it wrong.

    Events Etc provided everything for our wedding as promised and went above and beyond what we expected from a rental company! We used them for our wedding and again for our baby shower! I would highly recommend them they are great!

    I WAS EXTREMELY IMPRESSED WITH EVENTS ETC. NW, THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, VERY TALENTED, EASY TO WORK WITH, KIND AND EVERYTHING WAS BEAUTIFUL AND ON TIME. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN, FOR ANY EVENT. THEY HAVE DONE MORE THAN ONE EVENT FOR MY FAMILY AND DID AN UNBELIEVABLE JOB. THEY HAVE NOT ONLY DONE MY DAUGHTERS BABY SHOWER, BUT A WEDDING, A BIRTHDAY PARTY.AND A MEMORIAL. GREAT JOB!!!

    Jason and Sara were so responsive and friendly while helping with my rentals. Towards the end, I received the final invoice, which I didn't really look at until I was talking to a friend about her wedding and how awesome Events Etc is. I went to pull up the invoice and realized the order was wrong (with only 1 day to go before delivery!) I worked with Sara and she explained that they switched invoice systems, but she would get it fixed no problem. She even went out to the gentlemen loading the truck and made sure everything got handled. I'm glad I had the opportunity to work with both Jason and Sara. They were awesome!

    I ordered 4 white rectangle table clothes. I got 1 rectangle and 3 oblong.
    i ordered 12 white round table clothes. I got a mix of white and ivory.
    We were able to deal with this but I can see where this could have been a problem.

    Jason at Events Etc. was very helpful. He had a variety of items available and showed many uses for all of them. The chalkboards we used were sturdy and clean when we received them. Jason is very responsive and flexible with pick-up and delivery.

    I have had mixed feelings about my experience with Events Etc. NW through the time leading up the wedding. There was a miscommunication when booking a consultation at a bridal show and no one showed up to our appointment, but they were quick to respond and setup a new meeting. Through the months leading up to the wedding they were very flexible with making many, MANY changes to my order which was much appreciated, but sometimes they were hard to get ahold of. At one point I waited 1 and a half months until I finally got a reply. My dad picked up the rentals the day of and Jason was wonderful to work with, even jumping into the van to help load up the rentals. The rentals were great and in perfect condition. Overall I would recommend Events Etc. NW!

    They did a great job. The wedding reception turned out perfect.
    However....It took a lot to get it there. They did a wonderful job. But to be completely honest, which I hate to say ?

    Lots of emails. Lots of continual reminders. I would ask for something then a few days later the plan by them would be incorrect. Sometimes they just seemed scattered, like they were planning more then one thing at a time. This was made harder because it was a long distance planning.

    They did the set up night before (highly recommend) and there were things missing from the plan. Kinda disappointing esp when the plan was gone over a lot. I'm just glad I caught it. They did do a great job of last min work when I was unsatisfied with few things. Plus they bought last min flowers day of to help with the tables which I really appreciated.

    I feel like the hours didn't addup and we were way overcharged. They gave us a partial refund for a mistake. But there was many hours they claim they worked which I just don't believe. (I was peeking at our reception spot when they claimed to be working night before but it wasn't even set up completely yet)
    It turned out beautiful (it was a plain room to start) but those things left me a bit bummed. So it's hard to say. I recommend, but just be aware of the things I mentioned.

    Generally, I had a good experience with this company. Unfortunately, they agreed to pick up rentals from other company and in transit some of the rentals were broken then returned late. Also, there appeared to be a lack of communication between the rental companies which ultimately was frustrating.

    The day before delivery I called around 9am to find out the delivery time. Lady on the phone said she was figuring out the routes right now and she agreed to call me back when they have the times. So I called back and left a message at the end of the work day (because they didn't call me back and they didn't answer the phone, but they might have been closed it was between 5-6pm). The next day (delivery day) I call again first thing in the morning and left another message because they didn't answer (around 10am). They finally called me back and told me it would be delivered between 1-3pm but it's not guaranteed (ok, I get it traffic happens and what not.) throughout the day I got a few calls from them, informing me that they were headed to sandy (an hour drive to the venue) and then me so it's now pushed back to a delivery (we guessed around 6pm...not ideal but ok). I got a call saying they were stuck in traffic but are coming. Then another informing me that they have been told to abandon their route and deliever first thing in the morning around 6 am. I told them no it has to be delievered tonight, at this point I had people waiting all day only for them at this point so we can put my reception room together. I talked to Jason and eventually he works it out that they will come that night. Well did my rehearsal and the dinner. And then they delivered at 9:30pm. Started set up, had a table break on us (but I ordered extra), had trouble figuring out which linen went where, I was missing a few linen for tables (but I made it work). Overall the 10% I got off was not worth the stress and staying up till 1am the night before my wedding.

    They were late arriving, I wasn't provided with a contact number for the driver. The drivers were very unprofesdional and didn't know anything about the rental items. We couldn't tell which linens went with each table and either could the drivers. Many of the chairs were to badly damaged to use.... I would never use events ect again, very expensive and disappointing...

    Worst experience in my life time. I normally don’t go through all this length to express my displeasure but this company is worth exposing. Never again in my lifetime will ever seek to do business nor will I recommend friends and family- this place and the lack of customer experience, lack of response, yes please do not waste your time calling or leaving a message- they will hardly answer. I think they only one person working at all times. Customers please beware of their manipulation tactics - horrible horrible service-

    Horrible experience. We rented a dance floor. It was delivered late evening after we had set up and went to our rehearsal dinner. We called but didn't get an answer so we just left a message. They delivered it later that night but never told us. On our wedding day we came to finish setting up a few things. We found the dance floor but there was no plywood deck to support it on the grass. We called Jason and he didn't do anything to correct it. The dance floor was also very dirty and had food / drink stains on it. They didn't correct the problem so we were not able to use the dance floor. We called several times to get a refund but they never responded. We had to file a dispute with the credit are company
