Our contact person was Chris and he was professional and fun to work with! He made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Our DJ was Karl. Karl provided the ceremony music in somewhat unusual circumstances, and he was great! We had several music pieces which needed to be played at precise moments and Karl made magic happen! He was reassuring that all would go smoothly, and it did. The ceremony was beautiful and the music was an important part of that. The music for the cocktail hour was perfect and the reception went great. Karl helped with the Anniversary Dance which involved two of the Grandparents and Karl was wonderful in making the dance special. He was affirming and encouraging even when we finished the ceremony 20 minutes ahead of schedule! We never had a moment's concern, he was a wonderful DJ! Too bad we don't have another event coming up soon! We would love to have Chris and Karl again! Happy in NJ!

C&J was one of our favorite vendors by far. My husband and Chris (our DJ) got along great and Chris did an awesome job. We got get compliments on the music selection and the dance floor wasn't empty at any point in the night.

We were extremely happy with C & J Entertainment. We used them for our wedding on October 10, 2009. From the first meeting with Chris Temple, through the final performance from Karl, we were treated with respect and professionalism. They listened to what we wanted, and helped guide us along the way. I highly recommend anyone in need of DJ services to use C & J Entertainment.

Chris is an intensely professional individual who walked us through the process of designing our wedding Karl our DJ, was great! We have recieved more compliments on the music than any other aspect of our wedding. One of the few vendors that we had no problems with. Highly recommended.

Event: Wedding 9/26/09 C & J Entertainment:
Chris Temple was my DJ (with an assistant-name?)
I was really concerned about the music for our wedding, knowing it could make or break the event. Chris said he could make a song list for us or we could pick a few songs and he'd play the rest. Being type-A, I picked out every single song. Along the way Chris gave me feedback on my choices and provided great insight as to which songs would work well and which may not, but never told me I couldn't or shouldn't play something. He made me see things that I would not have seen otherwise. He also helped me figure out which part of the night different songs would work well etc. I was nervous about playing too many top 40, as I wanted a classier event, but Chris helped me pick a few really good dance songs so my guests wouldn't be bored. It worked!! Everyone was on the dance floor all night, more than I have ever seen at a wedding and he took license to keep the party going with a few songs not on the list which made the guests really happy!! He took cues from the guests themselves without having to take requests, he kept the dance floor packed!
Chris also went over the reception time-line very thoroughly with me, giving advice on time-line order to provide more flow to the reception which worked perfectly, but was also willing to adapt to what I wanted as well. He made several points about making it more smooth with the time-line that made perfect sense and worked, but that I would never have thought of on my own.
Chris has a very enthusiastic personality and we received numerous compliments on the music and dancing and the DJ himself. I had one guest even tell me they just had to go over and compliment the DJ in the middle of the reception. Chris was so much fun and my 10 year old daughter thinks the world of him! He and his assistant even helped out to change out candles for us that were burning too quickly! Above and beyond.
Chris is extremely knowledgeable on not only music for a wedding but running the wedding reception as well. He was an amazing DJ but DJ doesn't being to describe how much he contributed to the awesome wedding reception we had. While my dad was having a heart-attack over wedding costs and at first felt like the DJ price was a bit high ( he knew nothing of DJ costs...)....he was so pleased with the service he gave extra money!!!!

At our daughter's wedding, Chris did an amazing job of keeping everybody on the dance floor, from old to young. He was not only helpful in choosing the music but mixed it up so well and made it so much fun! We were told by so many guests that this is the most fun they have ever had at a wedding. Chris did the reception from 6 to 10 and then did an after party from 10 to 11 PM. He was still full of beans at the end, reminds me of the energizer bunny! We wanted a very classic wedding and were particular about our song selection. C&J got it immediately, and guided us through the entire ceremony. Even the DJ captured the mood we were aiming for with a perfect mix of music and announcements. First class all the way -- and truly a beautiful day for everyone to remember! Highly recommended!

Chris and the DJ's at C&J Entertainment made the whole process stress free and fun!!! The entire wedding was up dancing and enjoying themselves! We have been asked by over 30 guests for the DJ's information. Not to mention the pricing was incredible.
I highly recommend anyone looking for a DJ (for any kind of event) give Chris a call.

AMAZING! I met with Chris personally and he booked himself to do the event. Whenever I called him he always answered or got back to me that day. He had great ideas and incorporated music both my parents liked and easilty transitioned into more modern stuff that still kept every age good dancing. I can't say enough about him!

Our DJ, Carl was excellent. He met and exceeded all of our needs. He kept the music appropriate at the different parts of the reception and did a great job at reading the crowd and playing matching music. I could not have asked for better music service. I highly recommend C&J for any event.

Chris did a great job selecting a DJ that matched our needs. Ed was wonderful and really did a spectacular job. Chris worked with us on the music selections, and made sure Ed had everything he needed. Chris and Ed also made sure the ceremony music was set up well for our outdoor ceremony. It couldn't have gone any better.

My wife and I used C&J Entertainment for our wedding this past August and everything worked out great. The staff were polite, prompt, and professional. They were able to contribute fully to making our wedding a wonderful and special time. We were able to pick all the songs we wanted played that fit the energy and personality of our friends and family. Great job! Would definitely recommend!

Marc Simmons performed the music at our wedding and reception. He was fantastic to work with. When introducing everyone, he spoke clearly and made sure to have everyones names pronounced correctly before hand. We endured some rain during our reception; instead of packing up and heading out, he gathered his things and followed us to an indoor location and continued to offer great DJ'ing services. He even started some fun dancing to keep our guests entertained. Great guy to work with!

From the moment we met with Chris we felt at ease with our decision to go with C & J. He helped us determine how our reception would run. He set us up with a DJ who unfortunately had a family emergency two days before our wedding so he couldn't DJ for us, Chris stepped in and DJ'd our wedding without a second thought. Chris kept people on the dance floor all night using playlists that we had created ourselves. We would HIGHLY recommend C & J to anyone looking for a DJ for any event!
