Great food and service

We couldnt be happier with Encks. Kim was wonderful to work with in going over the menu and logistics of the day. All of our guests raved about the food. I was up last to get food from the buffet because I was doing my rounds to say hi to all of my guests and one of the servers was kind enough to offer to take my dinner plate to my table so I could get from the salad bar as well and not try to juggle 2 plates. I asked the staff if they could go around before cocktail hour and turn on the lights I had inside mason jars for my center peices and they of course were very accommodating to me. We are 100% pleased with our experience from Encks. Thank you Kim & staff.

Delicious food!

Enck’s was great to work with! Their team, particularly Kim, was very professional & accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious, too! All of our guests are still raving about it. I highly recommend hiring them to cater your wedding or next special event!

Perfect for Parties too!

We hired Enck's catering for my sister in laws anniversary party and they were amazing. They were great to deal with leading up to the event and managed everything to go seamless on the day of the party. Our guests raved about the food and they even had gluten free options. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did! Highly recommend!

Kenny was extremely easy and flexible to work with. We were a handful with our many questions and changes but he was so nice, responsive and helpful throughout everything. He guided us in how much alcohol and mixers to buy, made suggestions in set up of the bars, etc. The food itself was amazing. I often was told that the food tasting is never as good as the actual food at the day of the wedding, but this is not the case with Encks! The food was just as good if not better, and our guests had great things to say as well.

I couldn't have been more pleased with Enck's Catering. Kenny was very easy to work with, the food and presentation were excellent and the staff was very attentive and accommodating. If you're looking for a laid back BBQ theme, I totally recommend the pulled pork and brisket. Both were super delicious (the spicy BBQ sauce was our fav) and the mashed potato bar was a real hit. Thanks, Kenny!

We worked with Kenny Enck from the time we booked our date, through the wedding day, and never had any issues. Kenny was always very responsive to our calls/emails, and very informative. He was more than flexible with our menu and changing our time a little for the wedding day. Each time we met with him he was professional and we felt so relieved. We were able to add on a bar tender through Encks as well. We also customized our menu to have the pig roast buffet we wanted. Encks literally took a weight off our shoulders by including the linens (table cloths and linen napkins) in their service, the scrollware was all included (extra for china which we did not use), cups, and other supplies for the cocktail hour and desserts as well. I was a little surprised to hear how they would take care of setting out and maintaining our desserts, though we did not get any of our desserts from them, they made it clear they would take care of everything food and drink related. The staff (Kenny included) were all over and accessible throughout the cocktail hour and reception. They even served my husband and I at our sweetheart table, which was so nice for us. And they continued to check in throughout the dinner and evening if there was anything else we needed or wanted. We only paid a small deposit (I think it was maybe $100) when we booked, which helps a lot when you are still trying to save up for your budget. The gratuity was included in our total bill which was very helpful as well. And I don't feel we overly paid for anything. I was and still am very pleased with their service and all that was included and will continue to recommend them.

It really was a day like no other! And it's a day that will remain in our hearts and minds forever. Enck's catering was a huge part of our fabulous day! Kenny was THE BEST to work with. I must say I had NO STRESS the day of our daughter's wedding. He made sure every detail of the catering was taken care of without me having to check back or be on top of anything. And, our day of coordinator (who I gave the check to for paying Encks that day) mentioned that Enck's bill was almost half the cost of what she sees from other caterers! And we had the BEST compliments from our guests about the quality of food! I would HIGHLY recommend Enck's Catering to anyone who is looking to have quality food, reasonably well priced, and service delivered in a quality fashion with NO stress :) ENJOY!

Let's just start off by saying Kenny is awesome!!! He would respond to my calls or emails in a very short amount of time, was very thorough and organized. I had nothing to worry about and the food was delicious! Everyone keeps telling me how good it was and I agree.
The venue wasn't completely ready prior to the party and his staff was helping to do things that wasn't even part of their job.
I would absolutely recommend them for anything from a wedding to a party!

I cant say enough about how wonderful everything with Encks was to work with through the whole planning process. Kenny was so great to work with and accommodating. The food was fantastic, our guest still rave about how good it was. Kenny was there all day to make sure everything went okay and was there until the end to help clean up. His servers were so friendly and even helped do some our floral set up! We were able to pick up the table clothes a few days early so we could do some set up before they arrived. We cant thank Encks enough for everything!

Loved the food!! Decorations were beautiful and the food comes in a great package that included the wedding cake!! Reasonably priced!! Even better : )

Kenny and his team was beyond amazing to work with. For all of our meetings, Kenny was so flexible and really made me feel that whatever we wanted on our wedding day, he would make it happen. And he absolutely did. His staff that attended our wedding was very attentive and flexible as well. We had buffet service and the staff made sure my husband and I were given a meal immediately as the dinner service began so we could be sure to get some food before the reception really took off. We had so many compliments on how awesome the food was, and I would have to agree. The mini-filets were the best decision we made as they were probably the best steak I have ever had at a wedding. His prices were extremely reasonable so much so that I feel that it was a steal for the high quality of food and service we received. We definitely give Encks as Huge recommendation and will definitely use them again if we need any catering services!!

We just celebrated our reception on June 6th, 2015. We used the Enck's catering hall in Mannheim. It was absolutely amazing. I did a lot of research on places to have our reception, and between the quality of the hall and the food, this place won our hearts. The food was soon delicious. I feel like many weddings have terrible food, or it's too dry. EVERYTHING here was so good, and all the guests kept telling us about how great the food was. They were very flexible to work with. The staff that helped catered our event were so pleasant, and there were plenty of staff helping. I cannot say enough how pleased everyone was with Enck's. I usually don't like sliced beef, and theirs was ABSOLUTELY amazing, the mashed potatoes are homemade mashed potatoes (no instant). I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a hall or catered event. NOT TO MENTION, the prices were phenomenal!!!!!!!

Kenny at encks is the best person to deal with. He catered to all of our needs. The food was excellent . They catered the wedding reception and rehearsal dinner !! Cannot ask for any better service !!!

Food is delish. The prices are great because they have fees for adult plates or children plates. They have linens for rent which takes a bit of the stress of having to deal with another vendor.
Kenny, the owner, is very easy to work with. He has wedding experience and was able to help us incorporate that into our meal plan.

Kenny and his entire team are great to work with. Kenny was very good with communicating with us throughout the planning process. We had a great taste test and loved all of the food, making it hard to limit our choices. Their wedding packages are also very affordable. We received so many compliments on the food, making us happy we chose this great company. The catering staff was great the day of, taking care of so many extra details (helping set up and clean up). Everyone was incredibly friendly from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this caterer to anyone looking for fabulous and affordable food.

Kenny and his team were the "heros" of my wedding. Kenny was always prompt with his responses, helpful, easy going, and the food was amazing. I received rave reviews about the food and some that even said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. Kenny runs a amazing business that exceeds expectations in every way, not to mention his beyond affordable rates. If I had to pick again it would be Encks every time.

Kenny (the owner) was absolutely wonderful to us- he was flexible with our menu, attentive the day-of, and even brought the bridesmaids and I some little snacks right before the ceremony so no one felt light-headed or queasy!

The food was delicious (we had tons of compliments) and Kenny and his wife were super sweet. I highly recommend them!

Offered wide variety of menu selections. Easily contacted by phone or email. Food was exceptional..Set up was beautifully displayed. Guest raved about the pasta bar. Would highly recommend this caterer to others.

Let me just start off by saying Kenny is awesome!!! We had our wedding at the Moon Dancer Winery in Wrighstville and we hired Enck's for our catering. First of all, the food was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared! We got so many compliments, our guests are still talking about it. Kenny was very flexible with what we wanted. Some other caterers we had previously considered were not very accommodating with what we wanted and were not willing to work with us, substitute things etc. But Kenny went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. He was very upfront about everything cost-wise, and helped us to find the most affordable ways to do what we wanted which we really appreciated. The whole team was very helpful and professional the day of the wedding. I just cannot get over how good (and affordable) the food was! Seriously, Enck's was everything we could have wanted for our wedding day & more. No complaints whatsoever. Also, the cake is included! I highly recommend Kenny and his team for any event!

Good food and value

Our guests were very happy with the food at our wedding! We still heard compliments about the appetizers, chicken Marsala, and mashed potatoes weeks after the event. They accomodated all of our guests with diet restrictions and all of the children at our wedding. We thought it was a really nice touch that they provided ice cream with the cake. We also really appreciated them making our late night soft pretzel snacks!

Fall BBQ Wedding

Kim & Kenny were great to work with on our November wedding day. They were incredibly flexible & allowed us to adjust the standard wedding package as we saw fit - letting us add in delicious donuts & cider pre-ceremony, move around cocktail hour appetizers and adjusting the buffet line - to create the perfect menu for our day. We loved that servers went up to each table to push them towards the buffet line, instead of allowing the DJ to announce over the speakers. It was a nice personal touch.

Highly recommend the brisket, mashed potatoes & cake from Colebrook!

Encks was the caterer for our big day and one thing is for sure: it was delicious! The foods we picked were very homestyle, however, the presentation and flavor was probably better than anything in my home kitchen :p I highly recommend the deviled eggs - they were my favorite treat! Kenny was extremely helpful in helping us organize everything just the way we wanted - we wanted our meal to be served family-style and this was not a problem for them! The only thing I regret was that the food service was extremely rushed - this was mostly my fault since I planned the schedule, but I wish someone had told me that what I planned was too fast! Other than this (which as I said, I can only blame myself for), I'm glad we picked this caterer!

Delicious food. Working with Kenny was great. He gave advice and helped us find what we were looking for. They were easy to work with and very nice people. Everything before the wedding day was perfect.

The food was great, but set up strangely for the buffet with salad at the end. I don't know if there weren't little plates or if my guests are just weird, but there were people that got to the end of the table and had to put salad on top of their other food! The server at the bar didn't card at first so there were 19-year-old cousins drinking wine. My husband specifically asked for an item which was on the package deal menu page which was absent from the hors d'ourves table. Overall, though, we were quite pleased with Enck's and would definitely recommend working with them. We talked to a few other caterers in the Lancaster area and they are, from our experience, the ones that give you the most for the money, the most personable, and the most responsive.

Fabulous food!
