    Beautiful music for our ceremony

Everything with Empire Strings was low stress, music was beautiful, and they were very easy to work with. They sent a member to the rehearsal to figure out exactly how they fit into the ceremony, sounded great, and we were able to choose the pieces we wanted for our big day.

Working with them long distance was a little hard, but in the end the music was absolutely beautiful. Even though we only expected them to play for the ceremony (which took about 30 min) they stayed and played the full hour we paid for.

Empire Strings did an absolutely amazing job for our wedding. Suzanne was a pleasure to work with and we had absolutely no problems. We hired the trio for our wedding and they were responsive, courteous, professional, arrived on time, reasonably priced and sounded amazing. They were even willing to travel approximately three hours to get to our wedding, and learned the Ludlows tune from Legends of the Fall just for our wedding. The music was played right on cue, sounded amazing, faded and transitioned without any weird abrupt stops, was just the right volume, and was perfect. We asked them to stay for the reception and they agreed, which was really nice of them as well. I would highly recommend this group of talented women to play at any event!

Wonderful music; great personalities during my visit to their practice to hear them (while I was deciding and interviewing ceremony musicians). Performed beautifully at our outdoor wedding; added to the atmosphere of the wedding without taking any of the attention off of the ceremony. Play a variety of music, and "up" to performing requests! A little bit more than we wanted to pay, but a good value as compared to other live ceremony musicians in the Albuquerque area.

Suzanne of Empire Strings was very easy to work with and clearly loves the classical music that she and the other members of the quartet perform. She was very professional, and met with us at length for a consultation, and also attended our rehearsal. Both my husband and I regret that we weren't able to enjoy more of their music, but we did love the little we were able to hear during the processionals. The only downside was the cost: this was definitely a splurge item for us!
