Nicole Sent on 10/14/2012I am so happy we chose Elysian Fields for our wedding! From my first meeting with Dale, I was so excited about our flowers. He seemed to know exactly what I was looking for (even if I didn't!). Dale even gave me other ideas for our wedding, and we ended up having our rehearsal dinner at a place he recommended. I had also never heard of pinspot lighting, but he said it would really make our centerpieces pop, so I ended up adding that on to my lighting package with my DJ and I am so glad that I did! While Elysian Fields is definitely more pricy than other florists, it was completely worth what we paid. I could not have imagined more beautiful flowers for our wedding! Dale was also able to work with our price point a put together a number of quotes for us. In the end, everything was just perfect. The flowers perfectly matched my vintage/elegant Hotel Bethlehem wedding, and everyone loved the unique amnesia roses. Our centerpieces were so amazing with the gorgeous gold tall vases. Our ceremony space was also set up beautifully, with columns and candles draped with fabric down the aisle. We somehow ended up one boutonniere short, but the team was quick to rush one out to us before the ceremony began. The flowers arranged on our cake also made it perfect! If I ever mentioned Elysian Fields to other vendors or the Hotel where we got married, people immediately knew who Dale was and told me I was going to be so happy with our flowers. Dale and his team are true artists, and I would definitely recommend Elysian Fields to other brides! -

Aubrey Sent on 01/09/2011Wow, Dale is exactly what a bride wants out of a vendor! He was responsive and helpful to my emails, but when we met him in person: incredible!
He sat me and my fiance down to talk about EVERY DETAIL and take our time. My fiance had never thought about flowers, and Dale walked him through figuring out what he liked. It was magical. At the end of the consultation we came out with unique, gorgeous flowers at a price perfectly within our budget!
Everyone remarked on the beautiful flowers, and I highly recommend Dale and his business to anyone for anything! Our winter wedding was carefully prepared and executed with perfection :) Thanks, Dale! -

User1648971 Sent on 06/05/2014What a pleasure it was to work with Dale at Elysian Fields! We met with him only 30 days before our wedding, gave him some very general ideas of what we had in mind, and he was able to design the perfect bouquet and table centerpieces in no time at all. Plus, the prices was well below what we were expecting. The only reason I gave 4.5 stars and not 5 was because on the morning of the wedding, the flowers were not delivered to the hotel at the agreed-upon time, which meant some of the bridal photos were taken without the bouquet. When I called, the staff was very apologetic, and the flowers arrived within 15 minutes. The other vendors who worked our wedding and reception raved about how professional Elysian Fields is, which is high praise in my opinion. We would definitely use them again. -

Megan Sent on 07/01/2009a bit expensive but def worth it, everyone in the bridal party is highly allgeric to florals so he made all out latex fake which looked just as really as really could be... loved them and got so many compliments on them -

When my now husband called to make an appointment, they said they didn't do appointments, but when we walked in, they told us we needed to make an appointment if we wanted to change the traditional white/ivory flowers that came with the package we got from our ceremony/reception venue. I told them I wanted blues and greens and adored hydrangeas. When I got my bouquet I didn't have ANY hydrangeas in them, but we did have one in the centerpiece. The flowers were nice and I really liked them, but they were not what I asked for so that's why they got a not-so-great review from me. They were also not in contact with us, and anytime I went in for an "appointment," I was only there for 5 minutes tops, and I live 45 minutes away from the venue, which was a waste of gas.Elysian Fields Specialty Florals's reply:
first off ~ we would never tell a client we do not do appointments ~ we informed the client that an appointment is not something we schedule for the intimate package they had selected thru the venue ~ We feel badly that any client would be unhappy on their wedding day ~ the clients selected a venue that offers a package for an intimate wedding ~ the package includes a Bridal bouquet ~ a boutonniere and a centerpiece ~ color is an option and we take into consideration specific flower selection if available and if it meets within the cost allowed in the package offered ~ we do not schedule one hour consultations for the intimate wedding package ~ we ask the clients if they have a specific color or specific flower they would like incorporated and since most of the packages are for clients that are not in the area ~ we ask that they email us photos and ideas ~ I do not recall the bouquet that was designed ~ and would love to see a photo of it ~ because infact we do base a majority of our bouquets with hydrangeas ~ so it would surprise me that there was no hydrangea in the bouquet and if we incorporate 1 specific flower in any item for the package ~ our designers would not just place that bloom in one item and not the other because everything would have a cohesive look ~ we have done countless intimate wedding packages for this venue ~ and have never had a single client complaint until Alysha's ~ so again we feel badly that she has had a negative feeling towards our business ~ but we also stand by what we do for our clients ~ when they called our business ~ I am sure they informed our staff that this was regarding an intimate wedding package ~ they would then be informed that we would just need the colors they are working with and any specific floral selection they may be looking for ~ we wish them both a lifetime of happiness ~ and again ~ would love to see an actual photo of the bouquet in question
