Jimmy Guy & Elite Beatz Delivers

I used Elite Beatz for my DJ, tent & light rental as well as bar table rental. Everything was perfect, the entertainment/DJ Watson point band was very considerate about asking how we wanted things to go. Couldn't of been happier!

Marcus! So fun!

Marcus took over and handled my wedding with professionalism, all while making it so much fun, even the planning process had some laughs in there! Apparently it was only noon but Marcus had us partying like it was 1 AM!! LOTS OF FUN! Great DJ. I'd post more pictures but I'll save my family the embarrassment! Just know he kept us dancing the day away!

Wedding Reception

Marcus was our DJ for our wedding. He was professional, flexible and easy to work with. He was able to read the crowd and play music accordingly. Everyone had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend Elite Beatz & Marcus.

Jimmy Guy and his team were truly incredible! They took the time to work with us to ensure our wedding was absolutely perfect. They took the time to understand what we were looking for, accommodated our needs, met in person with us, and responded quickly to our emails. They made our wedding personable and charming. The pricing is great for all of the rental services and the DJ. All of our guests had an excellent time! We will definitely be recommending Elite Beatz to our family and friends and will be sure to schedule our future events with them without a doubt!

Elite Beatz is one stop shopping. We used them 10 years ago and we're thrilled. There was no question who to call when our daughter was getting married. Jimmy guy and his team are very professional and good at what they do. All emails, texts and phone calls are always returned in a timely manner and no question is too much. They went above and beyond and made our daughters wedding like a fairytale! Elite Beatz will always be our go-to for any event.

I worked with Jimmy Guy on renting a tent, lighting, tables, and chairs. I had a strict budget which their normal costs exceeded for everything I wanted, yet Jimmy worked with me, still gave me what I wanted, and came in just at the right price. It was very pleasant working with them and, when we had a small issue, they worked very hard to correct it immediately. Everything was PERFECT!!

Elite Beatz Entertainment, with Marcus Simmons as the DJ, provided music at my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding over Memorial Day weekend. Marcus was wonderful to work with and managed to find almost all the unconventional international music requests from the bridal couple that were difficult to find. He was fun, charming, easy to work with, accommodating and extremely patient – even when faced with last-minute requests. Marcus had a large and great selection of music and interacted well with our family and guests. We were delighted with Marcus and Elite Beatz Entertainment and recommend both without reservation.

Jimmy was wonderful to work with! He called the day before to make confirmations before they set up. I used their tent/chairs/dance floor. The equipment was in great condition. Highly recommend!

Jimmy and his team were the best! I sent him a list of songs I wanted played at our wedding (a list I had been keeping for about 1 year) and he played every song, at the time I wanted (ceremony, dinner, dancing.. etc.). The price was very reasonable compared to the ALL of the other wedding DJs. I definitely did my homework on vendor prices, and trust me, they were the best.
All of the employees were helpful and informative. Jimmy actually DJ'ed my sister's wedding 10 years ago, and did a great job then too. Very professional and knows his stuff.
I highly recommend Elite Beatz for weddings and parties. I will definitely be using them again.

Jimmy with EliteBeatz was fantastic! I rented a tent, dance floor, tables/chairs from him for my wedding at Weatherly Farm. He was always responsive to my emails and answering questions I had as well as making diagrams for my reception. He was flexible to work with me on my budget and had the most reasonable prices I could find. Everything was set up on time and his staff was professional and friendly. We realized late in the evening the day before my wedding that we had an extra table and were missing a different one, he had someone out first thing in the morning to make the change. I would highly recommend him for any event you have!

Jimmy and Evan were our wedding DJs and they were amazing!! They were so helpful in the planning process and flexible to meet our every request. They avoided all music that we didn't like and played only what we loved. They really threw a great party! One amazing thing is they don't take advantage of their customers. I actually double booked them and classical musicians for our cocktail hour and Jimmy updated our contract to only pay for the reception!! He was so honest and fair and maybe the only vendor we had that didn't cash in on the word "wedding" in our event title. I would highly recommend this company!!! Thanks guys!!

I can't say enough good stuff about Elite Beatz!! The day was spectacular! The staff was fantastic and very easy to work with. They were prompt and very professional in their behavior. The tent, tables, and linens were perfect. We contracted to have two staff members arrive near the end of the ceremony to move chairs from the garden to the tent for the reception. If I hadn't known they were coming, I would have never realized they were moving chairs! Great work!! We also rented a 4-unit restroom station that was absolutely gorgeous inside. It rivaled most fine hotel restrooms that I have ever been in for wedding receptions.

The fees for rentals and services were definitely in line with other vendors, but I feel there was a personal level of attention with Elite Beatz that made them a cut above the rest. Up until the morning of the wedding, the weather was calling for thunderstorms, and for an outdoor wedding/reception, that was a huge worry for me. Jimmy Guy ensured me that I could contact them as late as mid-morning on the wedding day if we needed to add sides to the tent. As it turned out, we did not need them. Our DJ, Jason Thompson, told us that he had not had rain at any of his weddings this year, and he was right!!

Overall, great company, easy to work with, professional, detail oriented, prompt, and a lot of other great adjectives I can't come up with now. We are definitely recommending them to everyone we know for not just weddings, but any event!

I don't even know where to begin to describe how amazing Elite Beatz is!! They helped to ensure that our wedding day was the most perfect day of our lives. Jimmy was absolutely amazing from the very beginning! We used Elite Beatz for rentals (tents, tables, and chairs) and their DJ services. Everything was amazing! Jimmy was so accommodating and flexible. I know things wouldn't have gone as smoothly without him. Everyone loved his DJ skills and everyone had a fantastic time. I'm still hearing guests say that this was the best wedding they had ever been to. That makes me feel so good knowing all the time and effort that went into putting on the event. Jimmy did my sister's wedding 2 years ago and it was perfect, so I knew he would do the same for mine. He was the first vendor I called after only 2 days of being engaged!! Thank you so much Elite Beatz for the amazing service and thank you for making us feel like family!! You guys are AWESOME. Hands down, the best around!!!

Rented tent, tables, chairs and bathroom trailer from Elite Beatz. Their price was 1/3 less than other proposals for local companies. Planning was easy and flexible. Set up was professional and timely, pick up the same.

Jimmy from Elite Beatz was fantastic! We had a few special/oddball requests for the music at our wedding reception, and Jimmy was more than on top of it. I was very impressed with his organization the day of the event -- and to be perfectly honest, I saw people on the dance floor I had NEVER seen before! Over and over guests told me that they "couldn't believe so-and-so was dancing," but Jimmy had a handle on keeping the floor full. He did a great job combining our songs with guests' requests and kept the energy level high. To be honest, I'm not much of a dancer, but even I was on the floor most of the night!

Behind the scenes, Elite Beatz's online party planner was great for getting me organized with our song choices -- and Jimmy was always very responsive to my emails and questions. The day of the wedding, he went out of his way to keep us on schedule, made necessary changes to our timeline and improvised with some really fun group dance numbers I hadn't even thought about (like a conga line). Everyone had a great time, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or hire him again!

We hired Jason Hook from Elite Beatz for our dj on our wedding day. He did our ceremony and reception music. Working with Jason and Jimmy was awesome! They were both very professional and easy to work with. Jason was able to accomodate and accurately execute last minute changes flawlessly. He conducted a pre wedding conference call with me and put all my worries to ease. He played all the songs we requested and got EVERYONE on the dance floor. I would definitely recommend Elite Beatz to everyone.

We booked elite beatz for dj and photography services, they were awesome and very professional. The dj did our ceremony and reception music, made the wedding amazing! Jimmy guy was the dj and amber testerman was our photographer.

Elite Beatz was aweomse! Jimmy was our DJ, and we also used their Photography Services. Jimmy was so easy to work with, and very understanding. Not only did he play GREAT music, he truly acted as a wedding coordinator. He kept everything moving and kept us on track as far as time goes. Jimmy Guy was super friendly, helpful and available by phone and by email during the planning process. We live in California and were planning a wedding in the Washington DC metro area, no small feat when dealing with time differences and not being able to meet in person for meetings. Jimmy helped with all questions and even sent pictures for things we were unsure about. During the day of the setup and the first time we met, Jimmy and his crew showed up on time and were very professional. They set up the tent, dance floor, stage and for a low-cost fee set up the tables and chairs (soooo thankful for that!) Everything went on without a hitch and the tent with all its fun underneath was everything we had wanted! The best part? All we had to do was make sure all the trash was out from underneath it and they came and did the rest, the breakdown and all! He even offered us a military discount bc both of our fathers are military. We would definitely use his services again. My family has used this company for other events and rentals, all have been happy! Thanks Elite Beatz for the memories!

We hired elite beatz for our wedding August 3, 2013 for tent rental, all other needed rental items and dj services as well. Jimmy Guy was absolutely wonderful to work with and made the entire process an easy and enjoyable one. I was constantly adding things to our order and he was so gracious and worked with us to make everything just right for our big day. On top of that, elite beatz offers a wonderful military discount which saved us a lot of money in the long run. Jimmy set us up with DJ George for our reception and he was amazing! So fun and such a nice man. Our family and friends loved him! Jimmy and his crew came and set up the tent and delivered all of the rental items whenever I decided and came to pick them up the day after the wedding. The delivery crew were so nice and even worked through the pouring rain to make sure everything was just right. They even came back the next day to clean the inside of the tent for us. Overall, elite beatz was amazing and I have no regrets at all working with them for our wedding. If you need any event rentals or help planning, call jimmy guy at elite beatz!

Jimmy Guy from Elite Beatz and his crew were absolutely amazing. From the very beginning of my planning, when I chose to use the company, I knew I had made a good choice after just a brief conversations with Jimmy. He and his crew worked so well together in setting up the massive tent and making sure everything looked great for my our wedding day. Not only did everything look great but all of the rental equipment was also delivered and set up as requested. The DJ services were perfect as well. Evan and Jimmy were awesome at keeping the dance floor packed and everyone was entertained. Evan and Jimmy were also great at making sure everything was in place and running smoothly as far as the schedule of events of the night. They were extremely helpful to the bridal party and even other guests throughout the night and were very accommodating!! They were great about communicating with me as needed throughout the night. I had a lot of specific music requests and they were great about honoring that and making sure that each song went where it was supposed to during the ceremony, introductions, etc. I had several guests commenting on how awesome our DJ was!! OVERALL we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND any aspect of Elite Beatz from the rentals to the DJ services. Couldn't be more pleased!!!!

Great to work with! Jimmy Guy was the man! He did everything he could to make the day flexible and go out of his way to help us! We had nothing but great complements from the guests on how wonderful the music was and how professional there services were. They were even able to set a tent up for us on short notice just so we could still have our outside wedding ceremony (because of the rain) that we always wanted. Would HIGHLY recommend these guys for any event!!

Jimmy is the best! The reception was a big hit thanks to Elite Beatz Entertainment! Within weeks from the wedding date I had made some dramatic changes to my play list and he was willing to do whatever I asked to make my day special. I will definitely be using them in the future! If you're having a wedding in the Southern MD area, Elite Beatz is the way to go!!!

Jimmy was our DJ and we couldn't of been happier with everything. Keeping the floor energized was what I really wanted and he was terrific! Kept us on track with times with our photographer Kristy and the caterers too. Would certainly recommend to everyone!

Jason Hook was our DJ through Elite Beatz and he provided great entertainment at our wedding this past summer. We had a few phone conferences with him leading up to the event and we were able to let him know just what we were hoping for in a DJ. We had a friend be the emcee and Jason worked well with him. Jason provided just the music we wanted and listened to everything we told him before the wedding day. He felt the energy of the guests and worked with that to make sure the dancefloor was always full and the right type of music was played at all times of the night. Great service and would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Jimmy Guy from Elite Beatz was fantastic! He and I believe his dad and some helpers were there for my wedding day and without them would have been a diaster. My husband and I were so grateful and beyond pleased with the services provided on our special day. We could not have asked for a better DJ. Jimmy had also done my sister's wedding in October of 2011 and I already knew Jimmy was going to be our DJ before he finished out the night. I could speak for my sister and I and they made the night perfect. If you want something awesome and something done right for your special day or a special occasion. Jimmy Guy is the guy to contact. He will not let you down. He is by far the best DJ I have ever seen at a wedding. We are beyond happy with the wonderful job he did for the ceremony to clean up and turn around and set-up for the reception. Very organized and very good at what he does! One thing that is for sure, he makes the night go very smoothly and that is key! He will make sure your guests have their toasted glasses filled before starting the best man and MoH speeches! He is on top of it. Fantastic job! Extremely happy with the outcome of our special day. :) I hope you choose him as your DJ as well. You will be very happy with your choice! ;)

Jimmy Guy was our DJ. He was fantastic. Played every song we requested - he even got a special version of a song for our first dance. He was very professional - double checking everything to make sure things ran smoothly. He went above and beyond by being early for our cocktail hour - which was fantastic because music was already playing when guests arrived.

The online planner is great! You can work on it and save it and come back later. The week of my wedding, we had a call to go over the planner and finalize all details - it was a very efficient call that eased a lot of my concerns for my reception.

There was no "cheezy DJ" things - just music and kept people dancing.

We used Marcus for the wedding and he was AMAZING! He helped us select songs, did a fantastic job with his playlist and really kept everything nice and organized. We've been to a few weddings where the dj was bad and it just ruined the wedding but definitely not the case for ours! I don't think that there was a single song played that I didn't know!

Elite Beatz handled my rentals including tent, chairs, etc for my wedding as well as my D.J. service. I could not be more happy with their work! Through the wedding planning process I felt like many vendors were non- responsive but Elite Beatz was there for us whenever we needed them! They even made last minute tent changes for us! Our wedding would not have turned out to be what it was without Jimmy Guy! His D.J. service was outstanding and very professional and he was very helpful even outside of his duties. Thank you!! :)

Elite Beatz provided the tents, tables, chairs, bars, lighting, dance floor and DJ services for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding and they did a fantastic job. Every time I had a question or needed to add/change something, Jimmy was always extremely responsive and helpful! He even was cutting the grass at the wedding site so everything would look perfect! His DJing kept everybody on the dance floor from the very beginning to the very end.

From delivery to pickup he had a smile on his face. It was the one check that hurt the least when I had to write it.

I have also had the opportunity to witness his DJ's over the years of coordinating weddings. They are also very professional and have great equipment.

Marcus Simmons from Elite Beatz was my DJ and he did a fantastic job!! He met with me several times before the wedding to confirm all details on music choice, timeline for the day, special requests, etc. He was very professional and I received may compliments from my guests on what a terrific job he did. He had some great suggestions and was on top of every detail. He also adapted very well to some impromptu changes. Marcus stayed until the very end and even assisted with the final clean-up. I highly recommend Marcus and Elite Beatz for your DJ services.

Our DJ was Jason. He did a great job! Very flexible, very responsive. We actually called Elite Beatz about 3 weeks before the wedding, and they were able to accommodate our last-minute request wonderfully! He was able to get all of the songs we requested, played great music for the whole reception and really set the tone for a fun night. I would definitely book him again for events needing a DJ!

Elite Beatz provided a professional DJ who knew what he was doing! Marcus was amazing! He played music that kept our guests dancing for 4 straigt hours! They were willing to travel to Annapolis for us, and took care of a last minute addition to our contract with ease! Highly recommended!

My now husband and I had the pleasure of working with Jason Thompson,of Elite Beatz for our wedding last saturday,and he was absolutely fantastic!!!! We corresponded via email in the months leading up to our big day,and we also met up for coffee closer to the day,and he was absolutely great!!! So personable,and nice. I was told by more than one of our guests that the variety of music was great, and that Jason felt more like a guest himself than a DJ.He got right in on the fun and never let us stop dancing! Such a sweetheart,and met my needs and theme of my wedding more than i could have expected! I not only recommend Elite Beatz for anyone's wedding, if you can i would snag Jason while you're at it!!!!

My husband and I found Elite Beatz at a wedding show. I worked with the owner, Jimmy, to find a DJ available for our wedding day. Jimmy introduced us to George, who we fell in love with our very first meeting...that lasted almost 2 hours! George is extremely knowledgeable about the DJ industry, cares about his clients, and wants to help educate them along the way. He taught us how important the beat per minute is, when to play the right type of music, and how to ensure that everyone will dance. Our wedding was amazing! Although we had to move venues at 9am the day of the wedding due to the hurricane, George showed up early and started early (along with the venue change, we also changed the order of the ceremony / reception). The day was seamless and none of the guests would have known the wedding was not as we had planned, other than they had to drive to another location. Our families had an absolute amazing time at the reception and will be talking for years to come on how much fun they had.

I contacted Jimmy and Elite Beatz upon the suggestion of a co-worker. Through him we rented tents, chairs, plates, cutlery, table runners, fans, and secured a DJ. The DJ was George Ceely - who was great as well.

These guys were really great, easy to work with, and when we went back to the venue the next day to pick up and check out, they helped us organize some of our leftover stuff.

These guys were just great to work with. I made nearly all of my communications via email and with their online planning tools, and it was great to work with Jimmy ad with George!

Elite Beatz provided the tents, tables and chairs, dance floor, and generator for my wedding. The guys who set everything up did a fantastic job and were very professional and patient as I asked them to change/fix some things after they had already set them up. I felt it was a little pricey, BUT they still had better prices than most other places. My only other complaint is that the dance floor is a little worn out, but I would definitely recommend and use Elite Beatz again.

We used Elite Beatz for all of our wedding related rentals: chairs/tables, linens, china and silver ware. They also moved the existing tables/chairs from the barn and back that same evening. Jimmy was outstanding to work with - they were very helpful and accomodating when we learned that we needed delivery and pick-up on the same day. I would reccomend them in a second to anyone looking for an excellent, affordable rental vendor option.

Jimmy was awesome! My wedding was originally scheduled for April 20th but due to a deployment we had to move our wedding up to Feb. He was helpful in moving the date and did a great job. He was there and set up on time and made sure we were happy with his work. I was glad we chose him to be our DJ for the wedding.

Jimmy was awesome! He made the reception a blast! My fave thing about working with him was how far he is willing to go to satisfy his clients. My daughters planned on singing us a song during the reception & he searched & searched to find a downloadable version to play for the girls. His Photographers were so much fun, they made taking pictures easy. My husband does not like getting his pic taken, but even he enjoyed it!! Thank You Jimmy!!

They were the only rental company in the area that had good prices for their rentals. They were very patient with our changes. I recommend them for event rentals.

They set up for my wedding two days before which was great for planning purposes, then upon seeing the forecast the morning of my wedding they came and put siding on my tent to keep out the rain. It just worked out so perfectly, I couldn't have asked for more.

We booked Elite Beatz at the very last minute before our wedding, so they definitely get points for flexibility. They were very responsive and they did play many of the songs we requested. As we asked, they also played a lot of classic wedding dance songs and modern things just to get people out. I think our venue may have hampered the DJ from doing his best job because we had a lot going on and were outdoors, so our guests were pretty spread out and not a ton of people danced. The people who did dance seemed to really enjoy themselves, though, so we did appreciate the job. I wish that, when playing the modern songs, the DJ would've skipped some of the outright breakup/sad songs he played, but that's not really a big deal - he still was very professional and friendly and did a good job overall. Elite Beatz provided the DJ for my sister's wedding 2 years ago, which was in a more traditional wedding venue and the DJ then did an amazing job and had everyone dancing. I only say this to mention that, in a more traditional venue, I think Elie Beatz does a great job and really make for a fun party. In a less traditional venue, they're still good.

Jimmy from Elite Beatz was awesome to work with, he was responsive and answered all of our questions.

However, the dj that was sent to us was late to setting up, even though he assured me many times of the time in which he would be arriving. He was also unprepared when he called to talk to me about names and songs for each dance. The online planner was helpful, but it would have been more helpful for him had he had it open at the time of our discussion. In the planner we also asked for jazz music to be played during the cocktail hour, why then did we hear a mexican mariachi band playing at one point?

Over all, I think if we had used a different dj but the same company we would have had better results. I'm sure the guests didn't notice, but as a bride on her wedding day, a late vendor is not something she should have to worry about.
