Best Makeup Artist, Ever!

Hiring Dawn as your wedding day makeup artist is a NO BRAINER! She is super skilled and someone you can trust to make you and your wedding party look beautiful. She works with all skin tones and uses high end makeup and brushes which MATTERS!

Wonderful Experience!!!!

Dawn has been doing my make up for years.... Never has there been a better makeup artist. She is wonderful and does amazing work. Your face comes out flawless. I would highly recommend going to her you will not be let down!!!

Dawn from Edit Faces did my makeup for my wedding in addition to my bridesmaids, mother, and mother in law. She was so professional, easy to get along with, and made all of us look and feel beautiful and radiant. She took her time with each of us and highlighted our natural beauty. The makeup was flawless, lasted all day and night (even the next morning) and photographed really well. Dawn was also extremely responsive to emails and texts I sent regarding several questions I had. When I need my makeup done in the future I will definitely go back to Dawn. She is the best and I highly recommend her!

Dawn was AMAZING. I could not have asked for a better artist, I could not have dreamt of a better makeup artist to work with us for my wedding. I have never felt more gorgeous in my life and dawn was great at changing/improving/altering my look at the last minute. My mom, future mother in law and bridal party all looked and felt amazing. My mom got tears in her eyes and told me she's never felt so beautiful. I loved working with Dawn so much that I can't wait to find another excuse to use her. Would use her time and time again!

I highly recommend Edit Faces for your special occasion. I received the best care that I felt was very professional, very accommodating and the most incredible value. I shopped services and this was the most special day of my life, so it was important to me that it be the very best. I was more than happy with the response time, the flexibility and the results were beyond amazing. Every time I look at the photos, I'm thankful I made this decision, going forward I will be checking her availability BEFORE I book any special events in my life. Dawn did my makeup for my wedding on May 6th. She did AWESOME! The whole bridal party looked great and our makeup lasted all night. I felt like my skin looked flawless and my pictures turned out amazing! I would recommend her for any occasion where you want to look and feel beautiful!

Dawn was beyond amazing for my wedding! She is truly an expert. I've had my makeup done many times by professionals, and she is by far the very best! She gives you that amazing airbrush look and really takes her time to make sure every part of your makeup looks PERFECT. She helped relieve so much stress on my wedding day and my bridesmaids also LOVED their makeup. She is the best of the BEST!

Dawn did such an amazing job for my wedding. I loved all the bridal parties makeup and mine of course. I felt so beautiful and it stayed on all night. Shes just amazing at what she does. i plan on booking her again for future events. I truly cant say enough great things about her.

Dawn is AMAZING! She did make up for a wedding that I stood up in, and I knew that she had to do my face for my own wedding!

She actually came out to my house to do my make up for an event I had later that day. She made me look flawless, yet I still looked like myself. I have NEVER felt more beautiful. She truly has a vision when she is working, and did not disappoint!

I cannot wait for my wedding day to have her do my make up again!

Dawn is hands down one of the best make up artists I have ever met. I would consider myself very picky being that I am also in the beauty industry and also a make up artist. Nobody can do my make up like Edit faces can. I have never received so many compliments from people. The day of my wedding I was so relaxed knowing Dawn was doing my make up. Also, months leading up to the wedding she stayed in contact with me and would have me send her pictures and ideas. I will forever recommend Edit faces to everyone!!! Dawn is so talented. She knew what would look best on all of us--bride, bridesmaids, and mother of the bride--and made everyone feel comfortable and absolutely beautiful. Our makeup lasted all afternoon/night and looks amazing in our wedding photographs. I highly recommended her to friends and relatives as she is incredibly professional and so much fun. She is quick to respond via email and is very personable.

Dawn did the makeup for one of my girlfriend's weddings and when I saw how fabulous everyone looked, I was very interested. I am a HUGE review person so I made sure to read all of the reviews for my vendors via theKnot, WeddingWire and Yelp. Needless to say, hands down, Dawn is definitely valued for all 5 stars. She responded right away to my emails, sent my contract in the mail the next day, and was easily accessible to reach to set up my trial. I did my makeup trial before my bridal shower and wasn't as excited about it as I had hoped to be, so she offered to give me a complimentary second trial which I thought was amazing customer service. I also asked her if I should have airbrush makeup and she told me that I didn't need it. You would think that someone would love to upcharge a client, but she was looking for my best interest. My second trial was perfect and my makeup the day of the wedding far exceeded my expectations. All of my bridesmaids were absolutely gorgeous, and my aunt and mom who never wear makeup also looked absolutely amazing without being overdone if that makes sense! I highly recommend Dawn's services and hope that future brides find this review very helpful!

Dawn is amazing!! She did a on location trail and it was great! I booked her right away!! And from that point on she stayed in touch till the wedding, showed up on time and did a wonderful job on my entire weddding party!! She made me feel and look so beautiful on my big day!!! Love her!!!

Dawn did an amazing job on me and my bridesmaids on my wedding day!! The makeup looked so natural. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup and it didn't feel like I had a lot on, even though everyone kept saying "WOW!" all day! :) All of my bridesmaids were happy with their makeup too. Dawn was detailed and really made sure everyone's unique look worked with their hair style. Thank you for being so accommodating for us, Dawn!!! We appreciate it very much. Dawn did a fantastic job for my wedding day and she was able to enhance everyone's natural beauty. The lashes were perfect and my look was exactly what I was hoping for. Dawn was so awesome! She did such a phenomenal job on my makeup for the wedding and also the whole bridal party looked flawless. My husband was complimenting all of us girls and said we looked fabulous. My makeup and all the girls makeup stayed on the whole day. I couldn't believe when I got back to the hotel at 1:30 that it was still on and didn't look clumpy.

I am not the type of girl that wears a lot of makeup, so when I was a bridesmaid for my sister-in-law's wedding, I was both excited and nervous for Dawn to do my makeup. Dawn was really, really good - going for a more natural look than I'm sure is common for bridesmaids, and I can't tell you how many compliments I received. I knew that I would do anything for Dawn to be a part of my wedding... :)

On my wedding day in March, she came to my house, arriving early to set up. She did my makeup as well as 7 other faces, including my mom, mother-in-law and my friends and bridesmaids. Everyone was very, very pleased, and Dawn's calm, kind, and fun personality was a nice addition to the party! Dawn is a real professional - very responsive, honest and on top of her game - and I am very glad to give her highest recommendations. You won't be disappointed!

Being part of the wedding industry for the past six years, I have worked with hundreds of vendors. Dawn with Edit Faces is by far my absolute Fav! She has made me Party Pretty for Holiday parties, New Year's Eve, Birthday Celebrations, Boudoir Photo Shoot...I knew when it was my turn to walk down the aisle, I had to have her. She was actually the very first vendor I reserved for my wedding (even before I had a venue). On my wedding day, she made me, my Mom, Mother - In - Law and seven bridesmaids absolutely gorgeous! It made my heart melt seeing my Mom batting her eyes all day (it was the first time she wore eyelashes). Brides can often feel like the day is all about them which it should be and I was definitely guilty of my bridezilla moments but I will never forget the way my Mom looked and they way Dawn made her feel. She was absolutely glowing and I will be forever grateful to Dawn for that life snapshot.

Dawn of Edit Faces was great. She was SUPER accommodating, calm and pleasant to work with. She makes you feel like a friend. She is laid back, listens to you, but also gives her professional input, without being pushy. And, above all else, the end result is phenomenal. I used her for make up and so did 4 of my bridal party. Each of us have different faces, features, eye colors and skin tones and Dawn did a great job on every single one of us. She made us look made up and special, without being overboard or too cake-y. She was also reasonably priced, professional and accommodating. I will use her again for professional make up!

I don't think there is enough positive things to say about Dawn! She is absolutely A-MAZING and her work is SO flawless! I can be a pretty picky person when it comes to make-up and I just let it all go out the window with her. I will keep booking Dawn for every event that comes up... wedding or not, she has a loyal customer, always!

Dawn did my makeup for the weekend of my 30th bday and she was great!!! Not only was she super friendly, she was excellent at making my face look flawless! I felt like I was 20 again!!!! I'm telling all my friends about her and everyone that saw my makeup already asked about her info!!! Dawn is amazing. My photographer gave me her card and that was, by far, the best recommendation ever. I went for my trial closer to the wedding and I wanted her to just do what she does best.... no picture reference... just put make up on me that she thought best complimented my face. She delivered like crazy. My skin never looked more flawless and so natural. She ended up applying individual eyelashes on me. I was surprised at how natural they looked and they weren't uncomfortable at all.

I definitely wasn't as picky with my make up as my mom. Dawn was extremely patient and responsive to my mother's *ahem* suggestions.... much to my and my mother's delight. She got everything absolutely right on the big day. Even my mom was impressed and super happy with the job she did.... definitely a big deal. I let my bridesmaids know that anyone who wanted to use Dawn's services on the wedding day was more than welcome to, they just had to let me know in advance. On the day, Dawn ended up doing mine, my mothers, my grandmother's and 3 of my bridesmaids. After a few bridesmaids were all made up, one who decided not to before saw how beautiful and flawless everyone looked, she couldn't pass up the opportunity to get hers professionally done. In her words "There's no way I can get my make up looking that perfect next to you guys :)". Dawn was more than accommodating and anyone that wanted to jump in the chair could. Even with the extra person we were ready with more than enough time to spare. I love my bridesmaids, but I have never seen them look more beautiful than they did after Dawn was finished with them. One of my other bridesmaids (who married the year before) asked me "Where was Dawn when I got married?!?".

I received countless compliments throughout the night of how my make up was so beautiful and flawless. My make up lasted me through the whole day (applied at noon on the day of the wedding) all the way till I got on the plane to my honeymoon at 8am the next day. Dawn is very professional, punctual, and has a great personality (not to mention a great sense of fashion =P). I will most definitely recommend Dawn to everyone and continue to use her in the future :).

I have so many wonderful things to say about Dawn and her makeup! Everyone's makeup looked phenomenal and stayed on all night through lots of outdoor pictures and tons of dancing. I cried when I saw my mom because she looked so amazing and I know that Dawn had a major part in that. I am so happy I found her. She will make you feel comfortable and relaxed, just what a bride needs!

I was searching months for a "professional" makeup artist to do my makeup on my wedding day! I came across Edit face on weddingwire.com, I saw Dawn had a ton of great reviews and they were right! I booked a trial and I knew right away I was going to book her for my wedding. She did airbrush makeup on me and individual eyelashes (which I had never done either one before) the results looked naturally beautiful! I am very picky with makeup and I only do my own makeup, never had anyone else do it before. I was very happy with Dawn, she did an amazing job on both my trial and Wedding day. She was exactly what I was looking for. Dawn did my makeup on my wedding day along with my mom's makeup, 2 of my bridesmaids, Jr. bridesmaid and flower girl, everyone was ready on time. She is quick and does a great job! She arrives 15 mins early prior to the appointment time to prepare her stuff and is clean. She makes you feel relaxed and trust that she will do an excellent job. I had so many compliments and everyone could not stop starring, kept telling me through out the night how my makeup was FLAWLESS and Amazing! I will continue to use Dawn =)

Dawn did an amazing job on my make up on my big day!!! I felt beautiful! She really listens to what you would like to look like and and makes it happen!! I loved my make-up and it stayed really well throughout the night!!! She also did three of my bridesmaids and a little bit of make-up on my junior bridesmaid. They all looked fabulous as well!!

Dawn did my make-up for both my photo engagement session and on my wedding day (June 4th, 2011), and it looked fabulous! I am not one to normally wear a lot of make-up, so she did an excellent job of making it look natural - I got so many compliments! It stayed on and in place all night long, and it looked great in our wedding photos. She responded to my many emails promptly, and she helped me to work out the make-up schedule on my wedding day. She is a professional, and her dress and demeanor on my wedding day reflected that and made us all feel comfortable. She really cares about her work, and she wants everyone to look and feel their best. My mom, two sisters, grandmother, and stepmom all loved their make-up (especially the eyelashes!), and I would definitely recommend Dawn to future brides. She truly made me feel beautiful on my wedding day, and I hope to see her again myself in the near future for an upcoming event!

Dawn has a wonderful portfolio of work she's done previously in both natural and glamorous styles of make-up and her approach at our event was excellent - professional and friendly. We booked a test make up before the wedding, and we hit it off - we had so much fun and the make-up was spot-on - not too much or too little. I looked so pretty while running errands that day.

Then she did the make-up for me, my maid of honor and my moms for the wedding. She came to the venue and was as lovely as ever - a very easy-going lady who makes you feel at ease on what can be a stressful day. Her knowledge and expertise are obvious straight away and she is well aware of what will suit each person's individual look - my moms looked stunning!! Everyone was extremely satisfied and happy and we all looked very pretty on my wedding day.

Dawn is truly an amazing and talented makeup artist! She has done my makeup on several occasions in the past and she was the only one I trusted to do my makeup for my wedding. She’s a true professional, always on time and incredibly personable. Dawn listened to what I wanted and created a look that was everything I dreamed of for my wedding day. My makeup looked gorgeous and was picture perfect the entire time. I couldn't believe how great my makeup looked in every photo. I got so many compliments that day and I have never seen my skin look so flawless! Dawn also did the makeup for my bridal party and everyone was blown away by how amazing they looked. I had a long and very expensive search to find the perfect make up artist and Dawn was it! 3 weeks before the wedding I still didn't have anyone, and so my photographer (Wes Craft) recommended Dawn. Dawn was absolutely fantastic and helpful from the first time we spoke. I didn't have anyone doing my hair either, so for the trial, Dawn brought along Lupe, a hair stylist.

Everyone and their mother was gung-ho about airbrush makeup, but i've done an airbrush make up trial before, and i really didn't like the feel of it on my skin to be honest. When I met with Dawn, she looked at my skin and actually said that regular makeup would look much better on me. She did an incredible job on the trial, picked out the right shades for the eyes and the lips on the first try, and I was sold! What I also loved is that Dawn glues fake eyelashes not in one row, like the other artists have done, but she glues individual eyelashes of various lengths throughout the eyelid. The end result is that you don't really feel the fake eyelashes and you feel totally comfortable. Another thing I liked about the trial is that Dawn was very effective at managing Lupe. She'd let her know when half an hour was up and when she had 10 more minutes to do the hair, so that we were on schedule even when we were doing the trial.

On the day of the wedding, Dawn and Lupe arrived a little bit early and were super amazing. My make up was flawless and it looked very natural. The hair was amazing too and I had no problems with fly aways. My look lasted throughout the night, and there was some very intense dancing. Needless to say, my fiance loved seeing me in a "natural" light, and not caked with make up, like I was at the trials before I met Dawn.

I loved Dawn's professionalism, her personality and most importantly her finesse. She's a very skilled make up artist and I will certainly be asking her to make me look pretty for special occasions that will come up!

Dawn is absolutely out of this world. I've had my make up done by many different make up artists and no one even compares to Dawn..not even close. She knows exactly what you need, how you should look and what makes you as individual "pop". She has done my make up in the past many times but my wedding day face was flawless, I mean flawless. It looked super natural and she created such a beautiful look. She also did make up for most of my bridesmaids and every single one of my BM's looked stunning.

Dawn was highly recommended by a friend to do my make up for my wedding. I decided I would have Dawn do my make up for my engagement party, and as soon as I saw the end results, I knew she was exactly the person for the job! I typically don’t wear a lot of make up in my day-to-day life, and I can’t stand when brides don’t look like themselves on their wedding day, so I explained to Dawn that I want to look like myself on the big day (just a better version!). Dawn did everything I asked and more! We discussed what kind of look I was going for, what shades would look best on me, etc. I actually had Dawn do the make up for six of my bridesmaids, in addition to my own. She kept to the timeline and was done with time to spare! Everyone commented throughout the night on how beautiful everyone looked, and I could not have been more pleased. I truly felt like I looked more beautiful and elegant on my wedding day than ever before, and that is because of Dawn! She is professional, makes you feel relaxed and does extraordinary work. I've had my makeup done by several makeup artists over the years, and I can say without hesitation that Dawn is the best. Dawn did my makeup on my wedding day, as well as all my bridesmaids. A true professional and artist--Dawn was prompt, friendly, and brought out the best in every face. She is very skilled in hiding flaws and accentuating one's favorite features, and no one looked like they were wearing tons of makeup. Dawn listened to what I was looking for, and I was extremely happy with the results. People came up to me all day to compliment me on my makeup. The proof is in my photos! From the moment Dawn walked into my parent's home for the trial run all the way through until the wedding day, Dawn was a pleasure to work with. She was attentive to every email I sent with relentless questions and work to accomodate me any way she could.

Now, for the real reason why Dawn is the best - her work! She is truly an artist. The work she did not only on me, but my mom and grandmother was breath-taking. I have never seen my mom look more gorgeous than she did the day of my wedding. The makeup was perfectly placed and age-appropriate, but Dawn wasn't afraid to lay on the eye liner and false eyelashes to make her look over-the-top stunning. As for my makeup, it was EXACTLY what I wanted. During the trial, Dawn asked to see photos of me when I would put on make up to go out so she could gauge what would be appropriate for the big day - well she nailed it!

We had a large bridal party of 9 plus the mom's and grandma and aunt who all had their makeup done as well. Because we had such a tight timeline Dawn brought in another professional artist who's work was right on par with Dawn's. The two worked very well together and really made things fun.

I would recommend Dawn to anyone of any age and I can't wait for another special occasion so I can call Dawn and have her work her magic!

Dawn worked with myself, my mother and maid of honor, she was professional and relaxed and made sure we all received what we liked and surpassed our expectations! She asked each of us our likes/dislikes and used her make-up talent to compliment our features. Each look was different but gorgeous! When I asked my husband what he thought of my dress during the ceremony, he said he noticed my make-up first and thought I look phenomenal!!! I would highly recommened Dawn; she is a great make-up artist, who will give you a natural flawless beautiful look!
The make-up stayed on all night long, even through the tears and dancing on the dance floor (which I never left).

Dawn has been doing my make up since I was 16. She did all of my high school dances and any weddings I attended as I got older. Recently, she did my own wedding. I had a bridal party of nine people plus my mother plus me. She arrived earlier than she was supposed to get all set up and organized and had no problem getting through 11 people within a short amount of time. Dawn is very personable and just the best at what she does. I didn't even have a trial make up run for my wedding. I trust her so much that I just let her run with it. Everyone was amazed at my makeup!!! I have been showing people my wedding pictures and they can not get over my makeup - that has been one of the first things people notice by glancing at the picture. I would refer anyone to Dawn as I highly recommend her. She is a great person and through the years she has become a friend to me! It is always fun to catch up with her each time I see her for an event that I want makup done and letely it doesn't even need to be a big event. Oh my God. Dawn, from Edit, is the greatest!! I know this sounds silly, but I don't know how else to describe what she did for our wedding. There were 8 bridal members and she took care of all our makeup and we were ready for a professional photo shoot. I honestly felt as though Dawn and myself were family instead of our relationship being JUST professional!! Her beautiful spirit and energy kept me so focused on my day instead of others and being a nervous wreck!!
Her responses to my questions were always attentive and on point, and if there was a missed call, she would take no longer that a couple hours to call back! It's nice having your own artist on call!
Dawn is SUCH a beautiful woman, and to just look at her and know that she was going to bring out my beauty like she does hers, was all I needed that day! If it was my choice, I would have wanted her in my wedding!!! LOL! Word of mouth is powerful, so I definitely will be spreading the news about her!

Dawn did my make up for both my shower as well as my wedding. She did an amazing job! I felt so comfortable and confident having her there for my wedding after the amazing job she did for my shower. I did not have any sort of "vision" in mind for either day. I simply showed Dawn both dresses and asked her to do whatever she felt was best. It worked out wonderfully. Overall my expereince with Dawn wasn't great. She did my makeup while I was a bridesmaid at another weddings years ago and it was great! I knew I wanted her for my wedding. I told her I wanted my face airbrushed because I have bad skin and it stayed all night last time. She seemed to not want to do it and didn't do it for my trial. I had to ask again for it for the actual day before she agreed. For my trial she bragged about this cheap $7 foundation she uses now because it's a lot cheaper and 'people don't know the difference.' My makeup looked streaky and not attractive a few hours later on my wedding day. Overall, I feel like she is trying to do some things a lot cheaper and it shows.
