  Delicious food and good service

  My husband and I chose Eatible Delights to cater our wedding of about 100 guests. We met with David for an initial tasting and everything was so delicious, we had a hard time narrowing down our final choices. We opted for a sweets table and had a cake made by a different bakery... Everyone devoured the sweets table treats and hardly touched the wedding cake. The planning process went smoothly from start to finish and everything was done to our expectations.

  I have worked with this caterer on five different occasions. I have been pleased each time. Guests of my clients have also been very happy with the food and have always commented on its quality and taste. The owner, Chef David Simms is very responsive and on two occasions has been able to accommodate last minute requests for catering with less than two weeks notice. In one instance it was less than a weeks notice! His staff is also friendly and professional. I would highly recommend.

  I am embarrassed to say that I am writing this so late, because the day I conducted business with Eatible Delights was one of the best day of my life.
  
  My first meeting with David was interesting, as it was different from any previous wedding meetings. It wasn't in a big fancy place, but rather a mom & pop'ish location. Which made me feel better because I knew from that moment I was supporting small business. He started with a tasting of the foods we gave him previously that we liked. It included Mac n Cheese, Salmon, pasta, etc. We left feeling like we had a full meal! And it was all I needed to sell my husband on choosing them. We had no idea of where to have our wedding, just that it needed to happen before I was about to pop, I was 3 month pregnant! Before we left the tasting David found us a location, locked us in a date, had colors chosen, linen selected, and a list of people to reach out for flowers, cake, etc. They were literally a one stop shop.
  
  Our beautiful day was in the African American Art Museum in Philadelphia, and was as elegant as any pricey venue. But Eatible Delights did not break our pockets. We were able to create a custom wedding at a DIY price, with high quality food and service. Our menu included lamb chops, salmon, shrimp, crab cakes, and a work up of creative side dishes and deserts. He even gave me extra food! We chose passing hors d'oeuvres because I hated the formality of plated dinners and wanted everyone to mingle. The staff never allowed anyone to have an empty hand. My guests two years later still talk about the food. David and his team made my wedding planning easy with no stress. It was the way I wanted it, no one forced me into anything, or gave me limitations. I could write a novel on the experience of working with Eatible delights, but the point if you want to do your special day YOUR WAY, with class, tasty food, top notch service, on a budget, while supporting small business they are your best move!

  Edible Delights Rock! They were flexible with our menu taste and the many inputs everyone had on table cloths. They arrived on time and provided excellent service. Beyond excellent service. I will use them for any and every event I need catered. And the food was awesome!

  Unfortunately, I did not have the pleasure of tasting any of the hors d’ouevres, however, my guest informed me they were delicious and the dinner was mouthwatering. I was very pleased with the level of service my Husband and I received from David during and after our Wedding.

  Edible Delights catered by parents' 50th wedding anniversary, which I hosted at my home. All of my experiences with David, the owner, and his staff, were professional. My parents and I have hosted many events - so naturally we had very definite ideas about what we wanted. During our first meeting, the knowledgeable staff listened attentively and asked strategic questions. By the end of our meeting, we had made changes to the menu, service and logistics. We were convinced they would help us realize our vision of an event befitting a couple celebrating 50 years of marriage. The food was delicious and plentiful! I was so pleased with Edible Delights that I suggested them to a friend who was looking for a caterer for his mother's 70th birthday party!

  Everything was delicious!!! I always complain about wedding food, but Eatible delights was everything but boring. Most brides don't eat at there wedding, but not only did I eat I wanted a second helping.

I was adamant about having my guests eat on real dishes and glassware and that is the norm for him; the table setups were very nice. The food was amazing; to this day 5 years later my family is still talking about the menu. One day I'll get the recipe to the dijon chicken salad! I would definitely have Eatible Delights cater another event.

  As a control freak, it was hard for me to let go and put all my faith and trust into someone else's hands, especially on such an important occasion. However, I could not have made a better decision. The elegance, professionalism and quality of the service exceeded the high expectations I had.   Mr. Simms and his team hosted my beautiful Reception at the Woman's Club on my Wedding Day. I must say everything was beautiful. The staff was very professional, and also a excellent work ethic. The uniforms for the occasion was very impressive by the staff. The food was very good, the table Decor was beautiful. We had champagne, wine, and a signature drink with our package. All were very good along with the dinner. By the time the dessert table came out I was very stuffed. But all the guest told me the deserts were very good. Mr. Simms was very easy to work with, he and his staff makes it very very easy to make your payments which was easy for myself and my husbands budget. I would definitely recommend Mr. Simms and his team for any event.

  People still talk about the food this day! It was important to my husband and I to have delicious food at our wedding and David delivered. His was flexible with his pricing and accommodating as we had a small wedding reception. His recommendations for other venders also came in handy.
