Highly recommend

Earthbound Wedding Officiants, specifically Rev Tami, helped make our wedding ceremony dreams come true. From the 25+ pages of scripting for the ceremony to being able to customize exactly how you want worked out perfectly for us. Rev Tami was wonderful to work with, very kind and flexible. She made our ceremony perfect. Highly recommend for your officiant.

Most Amazing day of our lives

Tammi was the best marriage officiant we could have asked for. Not only was she patient and kind, she worked with us for months to make sure this moment was exactly what we wanted. The ceremony was both our favorite part of the day were we could express our deep love for each other and life long commitment. She made us feel the most special and had us balling our eyes out, filling up with love. We were able to write our own vows, which had everyone else in the wedding crying too. She gave us all the tools we needed for the most successful ceremony and we cannot thank her enough. Choose no other but her if you want the most romantic ceremony and special moment to connect your bonds. We still look back on this day and especially this moment. Shes worth every penny.

Easygoing and Professional

Tami made the process of finding the right person for "the big moment" so effortless and easy. During our initial meeting it was clear that Tami was warm, genuinely interested in us as a couple, and respected our desires for the ceremony 100%! I didn't have too many ideas the bring to the table for ceremony creation and was relieved to see Tami makes an easy-to-follow worksheet to select scripting, processional order, etc. I appreciate the variation of wording that allows people to choose traditional or non-traditional ways to honor themselves in their ceremony moment. I got to walk down the aisle feeling respected by choosing words that honored my individuality and feminism while marrying my husband. Perhaps the most important moment of the wedding and the most effortless, Tami knows there is a LOT going on and she makes everything stress-free.

Jill saved mine and my husbands butts!

Our officiant bailed on us 7 days before our wedding and Jill swooped in and saved the day. Earth bound officiants have a great 26 page ceremony packet and we were able to pick out our dream ceremony last minute!

beautiful wedding!

Tammy married us in crane park in kalamazoo. she had suggested this park and we went with it. i am so glad that we did! it was beautiful and perfect! we chose our vows from several she had to choose from or you can choose your own. it was so easy to work with her and she made the the whole day perfect!

The Perfect Day

It was the perfect evening for my husband and I. Tami made sure our ceremony was exactly what we had hoped; she offered plenty of options to fill in our ceremony time and make it uniquely ours. I couldn't have asked for a better ceremony.

It was as if we were the only ones in the room!

The whole experience was incredible! Tami made sure that our wedding was perfect in every way! She personalized it perfectly and made sure that every detail was included. Her energy was so wonderfully peaceful it helped ease my nervousness and it was as if we were the only ones in the room. Our special moment was better than I could have imagined. She was able to engage with our guests as well and made our event special for those that were there to support us. I highly recommend Earthbound Weddings! I can't thank them enough for helping make my wedding the best day of my life!

Wonderful!

Jill was our officiant for our wedding, and she was so professional and kind! She knew exactly what she was doing, and made sure our ceremony went just the way we wanted. Earthbound Wedding Officiants will get a feel for what kind of ceremony you want, and will carry it out beautifully!

Wonderful experience

Tami and Terry were an absolute delight to work with. They helped us craft our vows, provided plenty of ideas, and took the time to discuss what makes us work as a couple. They are world travelers and their cosmopolitan viewpoint helped make us feel at ease. Tami was always responsive to our questions, and Terry’s comments during the ceremony were warm and caring.

Our wedding day wouldn't have been our wedding day without Terry. Like many others before us, we had trouble finding someone to marry us who we felt truly understood us as individuals, us as a couple, and the feeling & energy that we wished to convey through our ceremony. We didn't know if we would ever find the right person, and the pressure was acutely felt. Then relieved. We met Terry at his home in Portage about 6 months before our wedding, and the relief and joy that we felt upon leaving is a feeling that I can't describe.
Our ceremony was perfectly curated to reflect who we are and how much we love each other. It illuminated what we have been able to secure as the base of our life together. It is so easy to look back at a wedding and think, "Yeah, that was one great party!", but I am so grateful to look back on our day and know it was so much more. We honored the love that we have spent so much time cultivating, we shared it with those who have supported us, and we are beginning this new journey more centered and grounded than we ever dreamed. I have no expectations for what lies ahead, I simply feel joy because I know it will be good. THANK YOU Terry!

It took us such a long time to find officiants that fit into what we were looking for. After months, I finally came across Earthbound Weddings and I loved their mission, accessibility, and personalities. After speaking to Tami, and seeing all of the wonderful work that she and her husband, Terry, have done, we knew that they were the ones. They have so many different options for you to pick scripts from and help you along the way with your vows. We had Jill as our officiant and she was so nice and very responsive with questions! We changed our minds a few times on details for the ceremony and she was very accommodating and quickly enacted the changes. She was very attentive to us and we felt very comfortable and confident going into the rehearsal and actual wedding day. She did a great job and everyone loved it! We really liked that Earthbound Wedding Officiants offered such a wide variety of options for how we exactly wanted our ceremony to go so we could literally hand-pick every detail. We picked them for the fact they could do as religious ceremony as someone wanted, or not religious at all or even do different religious traditions, like Jewish, Pagan, etc. We would recommend Earthbound Wedding to anyone gladly!

Tami was an excellent officiant. She took the time to get to know is in advance and made us feel at ease on our wedding day. She knew the right questions to ask to make sure everything went smoothly. She came to our rehearsal for no extra charge and gave us the right amount of instruction so we felt prepared. We liked that were able to pick what was said from the material she gave us. This worked out well because we didn't need it to be extremely religious and the end result was very "us." She is a genuinely nice person and we are really lucky to have found her! Would recommend to anyone.

It was such a lovely experience. We got married in their beautiful backyard. Terry was so accommodating and just such a genuine good person. We enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you both so much for making out planned elopement so special. I highly recommend having Terry marry you. Professional, courteous, fun, welcoming, and warm. You all are the best!!!

Tami was a fantastic officiant! She maintained constant contact leading up to the big day, and provided some great suggestions on preparing for the rehearsal and ceremony, taking a lot of stress out of the equation. The script choices were fantastic, and allowed us to customize our ceremony to be exactly what we wanted: a short, fun, non-religious ceremony, while still staying relatively-traditional. We received dozens of compliments on how beautiful and inclusive the ceremony was, and couldn't be happier with how things turned out! I'll be recommending Earthbound Wedding Officiants to everyone I can.

My plan was to get married at the courthouse but they don't perform ceremonies on Thursdays. I called around and left some messages. Tami was the only one to call me back. She was free on the day AND time i wanted. It was fate. She kept in contact with me & worked with me to design my perfect ceremony. The day of: she was on time & professional. On her way out she gave me a hug & said "congrats" which i thought was just so touching and more personal than a handshake. The day was everything i had hoped it would be.

Tami did an excellent job officiating at my wedding. She is a pleasure to work with and I enjoyed getting to know her during the planning process. She was very prompt and took care of everything regarding the ceremony, vow arrangements, and marriage license. We were able to meet with her before reserving her services to talk with her about various options pertaining to ceremony layout and rituals. Rev. Terry made our wedding so special and magical - My husband and I are so happy that we decided to have him marry us. He went through everything with us during the rehearsal and the day of the wedding I was nervous being in front of so many people but he made me feel really at ease and made the ceremony go by very smoothly. So many of my guests were impressed by him, saying he was one of the best officiants they had ever seen. :) Terry and Tami kept in communication with me leading up to the ceremony, making sure everything was perfect for us. I'm so happy I chose to work with these wonderful people. They'll always have a special place in my heart for making our wedding so perfect.

Tami was such a pleasure to work with! I loved the service because it is customizable depending what you are looking for. We chose the rehearsal guide, which didn't require much communication with Tami before the wedding, but she was still very responsive and easy to contact if we had questions.
The day of our wedding was so incredibly stressful and I didn't feel very prepared for the ceremony. I didn't even notice Tami walk into the room while I was getting my hair and makeup done, but when I was finished, she was right there to do a quick walk through and put me at ease. She has a way of making couples feel calm and our ceremony couldn't have been more perfect. She continued to talk to us through the ceremony, so we knew exactly what to do.
I would recommend Tami to anyone! We worked with so many vendors and this group by far was one of the easiest to work with. Thank you for being a part of our special day!

Rev Tami was an excellent officiant. We decided to use Earthbound about a month prior to our wedding. We never met or spoke in person to Rev Tami until our rehearsal the night before the wedding. But during the month before, she answered every question we had, she provided all of the ceremony options, and truly made it a personalized ceremony. During our rehearsal, she made many suggestions and her input made our wedding even better. No one in the audience could tell that we had just met. She added her sense of humor and made us very comfortable. We had a few technical difficulties and she accomadated our videographer by repeating all of her dialogue after the service. She was simply wonderful!!

Rest assured that this coupleRev. Terry and Tami is very experienced and actually listen to what you want ! They were so communicative and helpful! They went above and beyond what we expected. They were professional and accommodating . Rev. Tami sent many communications back and forth and even helped with the actual script . They are very organized and seemed to have a gift for delivering just the right sentiments and words that we wanted. We had a delay due to our sound equipment .Rev. Terry was very patient with our delay. Would recommend them only if you want the best!

Originally, we had planned for a courthouse wedding - short, sweet, and to the point - but found out that the court could not give us the date we wanted. Instead, we had to move our wedding out an entire month, something that was, needless to say, disappointing!

Luckily, I found Earthbound Weddings and got in touch with Tami and Terry. After hearing that they could not only accommodate us in a short amount of time, they would put together a script and work with us to have a little more than just a courthouse wedding.

The ceremony was beautiful but simple - and we were able to choose a public location and invite more friends and family than originally planned. It was basically worry-free and the price was very reasonable too. And although our ceremony was not a big production they made sure we were taken care of.

Thanks Earthbound Weddings for making our day that much more special!

Tami at Earthbound Weddings truly made our ceremony my favorite part of our wedding! She worked with us to design a ceremony that was true to our style and beliefs. She is professional, kind, knowledgeable and great at public speaking. She is also very calm and approachable. It was very helpful during all the wedding stress to have Tami there guiding us through the event. I would recommend Tami to anyone who is looking for a ceremony to remember.

We had the pleasure of Tami marrying us on our wedding day! My now husband and I wanted to find someone that we could relate with or feel comfortable with having them marry us. The search was actually quite hard. A lot of people that I would find in the area I just felt like I couldn't relate or they didn't fit what we were looking for in an officiant. We are open Atheist and come to find out there are 0 officiants that openly state they are. Most officiants will marry anyone religious or not but we still wanted to find someone we could relate with on some sort of level. Tami and her husband have a love for travel, hiking and dogs so that got me intrigued to wanting to get more information since that is a huge part of our lives. Tami was always quick to respond and answer any questions I had even silly ones we had a meeting on the phone as well which helped make me feel more comfortable with the whole thing. Since I have only been to maybe 3 weddings my whole life I was a bit nervous on how it would all go down. We had a really big bridal party with eight people on each side. I thought theres no way we can do our own rehearsal but she gave us a script and it made it easy for us PLUS you don't have to do much find someone that can delegate everyone! You can however have her in person for rehearsal but she had confidence we would be okay without and sure enough it was great!

Another great part of the ceremony is we got to build it ourselves! She has a great template that aloud us to pick and choose areas that most described us. It was a lot of fun to sit down and read and it even made it so much more real and from the heart. You can also add what ever you want to it as well. This made it feel like "wow this is our wedding" personal and unique.

Day of she was perfect loud and clear (this is important)and even made us laugh!

It's easy to be uptight about how your wedding ceremony is going to go, because it's one of the most important days of your life and you want it to be perfect. But Earthbound Weddings made ours simple, easy, and did so in a highly professional manner. There was so much communication and willingness to work with us up front on precisely what we wanted, and come ceremony time, it went flawlessly. It went so well, in fact, that our family asked us where we found our officiant because she was so awesome, and the proprietor of the location where we married reached out to me for Tami's contact information so she could suggest her for another upcoming wedding. Long story short, if you're looking for a perfect wedding officiant, this is the one.

We worked with Rev. Tami to create our script for our wedding ceremony. She was originally supposed to be our officiant but due to scheduling conflicts had to back out. However, she was able to find another person to officiate for us within plenty of time before the wedding so it wasn't an issue. The Rev. Michael James officiated our ceremony and was wonderful. We only met him briefly before the ceremony but he put us at ease. The rehearsal helped our day go smoothly and I would recommend that all couples pay the extra amount to have a run-through.

It was easy to go through the sample script Rev. Tami provided and customize it to fit us and create a personalized ceremony. We liked the many options that were provided. We chose to do a love letter wine box ceremony and many people commented on how unique it was. We are looking forward to reading our letters on our anniversary and continuing the tradition every year!

The initial meeting was great we felt really comfortable and confident all would be well on our big day! Tami and Terry at Earthbound Wedding Officiants were exceptional every step of the way. We really enjoyed the process of choosing our script, there are options for everyone, religious or non, and every personality. We really had fun putting our unique wording together to reflect who we are as a couple. I asked Tami and Terry to be Officiants at my wedding at Blue Dress Barn in Benton Harbor, MI. As an out of state resident I trusted a lot of wedding reviews and instinct. I reached out and heard back from Tami and knew that her and husband Terry were the ones for us. She was very personable and very professional. I was given a great checklist of information that was used to customize our ceremony. We were able to add and remove different suggested parts and it included some fun ideas that we utilized such as the rose ceremony for the moms and wine box ceremony for our 5 yr anniversary. I couldn't be happier with the way it all turned out. I was able to Skype with Terry and Tami and meet from a distance to go over the important details. The rehearsal was informative and organized too. Thank you to both of them for being so great. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them.

Tami was really great to work with. We ended up moving away from the Kalamazoo area during our engagement so I was worried about not being able to meet her before our rehearsal. She provided an extremely thorough ceremony planning document that my husband and I were able to go through and email to her so she would know what we wanted. The first time we met Tami was at our rehearsal on Halloween. She was really great and remained patient with our rowdy group of friends and family. She was one of the only vendors that I dealt with that really made me feel like a bride. She said the right things about looking forward to seeing me in my dress. I know that the wedding industry deals with brides all the time, so I definitely felt like some vendors just saw me as another customer. Tami didn't do this at all and made me feel like my wedding was going to be special. My husband and I really liked having Tami as our officiant and would recommend her to anybody. Her pricing was fair and we couldn't have been any happier with our ceremony!

Unbelievable service.

On the day of the ceremony, a complication forced us to request that the time of the ceremony forward by an hour (and we live an hour away from the officiants). Terry and Tammi canceled their plans to accommodate us -- without any discussion of financial penalty or other fuss. We even got a follow email thanking us for the tip we provided (the least we could do given their service and flexibility).

They were quick and helpfull through the planning stages and made sure we understood everything and had open and constant communication with us throughout this experience. They were professional and patient at all times as well as flexible. They traveled to the lakeshore for our ceremony and patiently waited for us to make our way to the lake and back from the lake. They made the ceremony even more personal by incorporating some information mentioned to them before the ceremony, I know there was not a dry eye to be found. Tami and Terry were an absolutely lovely couple to work with, and my husband and I couldn't possibly have been happier with our ceremony. It was a bit of a funny story, but when I stumbled across their website I knew they were the perfect couple to marry us (kind people, wine lovers, and world travelers), and after a false alarm where I thought they were already booked (my mistake, not theirs), we were able to confirm our wedding date with them. They were always very responsive to our questions, respectful of our desire for a non-religious ceremony, and they were very flexible in incorporating our wording and special requests into the entire process. It was wonderful to know that we didn't have to worry about anything, they guided us through the entire process. And on top of it all, they gave us a wonderful rehearsal guideline (free of charge) to run through with our wedding party on our own time.

Don't hesitate to work with them. You won't regret it. Our vintage style, vineyard wedding wouldn't have been the same without them! Oh, and one last thing . . . they have to be the most reasonably priced officiants in all of Michigan (which was really important for us and our tight budget).

With their service you will get the type of Marriage ceremony you desire no matter your religious preference. Rev. Tami was our wedding officiant for our February 2012 wedding at a bed and breakfast in Marshall, MI. She provided outstanding service! She was extremely friendly and professional. She provided us with a ceremony planning form as well as sample wording and ritual options for our wedding ceremony. We incorporated a lot of her ideas into our ceremony and everything went perfectly. We did a handfasting ritual, which was very special. She also offered to give us recommendations on places to eat, etc. in New Orleans (where we will be taking our honeymoon in a few months). We are thoroughly satisfied with Rev. Tami's service and recommend it to couples that want their wedding ceremony to be filled with positivity and meaning without costing an absurd amount of money.

We could not have had a better experience and could not imagine having anyone else to join us in Marriage! Tami was amazing and made us feel very welcome in her home where the ceremony was performed, she is very personable and very open to the couples wishes & suggestions. I highly recommend Earthbound Weddings ......so sorry for my mistake on my previous review Tami, I am having trouble removing it but when I figure it out it will absolutely be removed!!!

Our experience with the Officiants at Earthbound Weddings was very pleasurable. We worked with Tami, who was very flexible, she made us feel very comfortable and was very welcoming, as we had our ceremony in her home. Tami and Terry were not only very professional by officiating our wedding they have become our new friends forever. Our wedding day was warm and sunny along with gale force winds, it along with our friends, ministers, and canine son was the best. Being married in front of St. Joseph Lighthouse was beautiful and yet held deep mysteries of its existence. When we renew our vows I would like it very much for Tami an Terry to preside over it for us again. They were precise on the way we had the blessings over us and were very in-tune to nature as we are in celebrating the joining of our lives together. Tami and Terry are simply the best. Terry and Tami could be the sweetest people I have ever met. They are wonderful to work with and so easy to talk to. We live in Florida and had a Skype conversation with them and through that conversation we felt so at ease. They are so easy going and so loving! They really made our wedding so special. They had no problems not including religion in our ceremony and suggested some readings for us that worked perfectly. There was not a dry eye in the place! (I even think Terry cried!) Terry and Tami truly are amazing people and I would recommend them to anyone who is not sure what type of ceremony they would want (religious or not) but knows they want their ceremony to have meaning.

Tami and Terry are wonderful!!! We loved working with them. They were very responsive to our emails from start to finish. We could not make the drive to Michigan for our initial meeting so at our request they skyped with us. We had some laughs as we were all new to skyping:) Tami and Terry were very organized and professional throughout the whole process. They offer a template for the ceremony which gives many choices for each area of the ceremony (such as several choices for the prayer, vows etc). They have a word document with drop down boxes which made it very easy to select the ceremony we wanted. They were open and responsive to any changes we wanted to make as well. We loved working with them and our ceremony was beautiful. Our ceremony ncluded a wine tasting ceremony which was such a special touch. Thank You Earthbound Wedding Officiants!!!

Tammi and Terry are great! They let you choose every little detail making sure to keep it your day. We had a small ceremony so we didn't need a rehearsal so we instead meet with them a week before the wedding to go over everything. They are so personable and just plain amazing!

Mike and I feel as though the Revs.Tami and Terry were family. We met with them about 6 months before our wedding. We liked and felt VERY comfortable with them right away. They were never pushy, bossy. They helped us with our vows and also allowed us to personalize our vows. When our beautiful day finally arrived, the Reverands were right there for us. Our ceremony was just how we wanted it and then some. Mike and I would HIGHLY recommend them. As a matter of fact, when we are ready to renew our vows, they will definetly be the ones to do it.

Tami and Terry are very genuine and passionate about what they do. My wife and I had both of them do our ceremony, and we definitely didn't regret it. Tami and Terry were absolutely wonderful! We had planned our wedding in just less than three months and when I contacted them, they were so helpful and relieved a lot of my stress. The Stingleys were excellent to work with, very flexible, kind, and patient (a big requirement for couples planning a wedding). I have absolutely no complaints. I really feel that they made our wedding ceremony truly unique among all the rest!! Many of my family and friends that attended our ceremony commented on how the Stingleys did such a wonderful job officiating. They always answered all our phone calls promptly and professionally, I am so glad we found the Stingleys to officiate our wedding!!!
