Dynasty Weddings really elevated my wedding!

From the initial inquiry, Chris was very easy to work with as he provided a template schedule for us to follow. When it came down to the wedding, everything was amazing!

Everyone was raving about the photo booth and the animated GIFS! The prints/photos were some of the highest quality I have seen from a wedding! Tommy was great with the light setup and managing the photo booth! Following the wedding, we also received a photo gallery. The pictures were enhanced and everyone looked amazing in their shots. Chris and his team provided ease of access to the photos for us to relive all the memories!

DJ Lo provided such a great ambiance and really transformed the dance floor when the time came! He understood what the wedding needed in terms of music and was great with accommodating all of our song requests. The music really brought everyone together and made it a fun night!

And lastly, Terry did a great job of navigating me throughout the night as my bilingual MC! He made me feel at ease and I appreciate all the coordination! Everyone loved the opening ice breakers he brought up! I appreciate how smoothly everything turned out with Terry navigating me throughout the night!

Dynasty Weddings brought such a great team to my wedding! I highly recommend them as they made my wedding reception unforgettable!

Unforgettable wedding experience thanks to Dynasty Weddings!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Dynasty Weddings for both DJ and Officiant services, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. What initially caught our attention was their offering of bilingual services, a crucial factor for our multicultural celebration.

First and foremost, our officiant - Chris, and translator - Cece, were an absolute delight. They both (along with the team) went above and beyond to make our day extra special. Not only did Cece translate the ceremony into Mandarin for my husband's family and friends, but she also assisted in fixing my train and remained incredibly attentive throughout the entire reception. Her outfit change from the ceremony to the reception perfectly complemented the evolving mood of the party—a thoughtful touch that we truly appreciated.

Cece's involvement during the reception was a highlight of the evening. She seamlessly engaged the entire party, young and old, with collaborative games that had everyone on their feet. Her ability to bring people together resulted in a fantastic group photo that captured the joyous atmosphere of the celebration.

Dynasty Weddings took charge of the entire reception with precision and care, leaving us stress-free and able to fully enjoy the festivities. We provided them with a Spotify playlist of our favorite songs, and they exceeded our expectations by skillfully mixing and dividing the night into segments. The dance sets were perfectly timed, allowing everyone to rest in-between and ensuring a continuous flow of energy.

The dance floor was alive until the very end, with almost no one leaving early—a testament to Dynasty Weddings' ability to keep the party going. Their attention to detail, personalized approach, and genuine enthusiasm made our wedding an unforgettable experience.

We are confident that Dynasty Weddings will be our go-to for any future events or parties requiring a DJ. Thank you for making our special day truly magical!

We knew when booking our wedding vendors that we needed reliable, professional, and experienced people. When we first met Chris Chen, we could tell we could count on him for our big day. Wedding planning is stressful enough, but Chris was not only always available and approachable, but helped ease our all worries and worked with us to make our wedding day the best day possible. Chris's calming nature, flexibility, years of experience, and A+ team were just a few of the things we loved about working with Dynasty Wedding. We couldn't have picked a better MC/DJ team for our wedding. Chris even helped us book a limo last minute for an amazing deal. The DJ went above and beyond and mixed a medley of songs for our father-daughter dance. The music selection during the wedding had the crowd dancing the entire night - we couldn't believe how much fun we had. The Photo Booth utilized a DSLR which produced high quality pictures, included marvel props, and was the best Photo Booth we had seen at a wedding yet. We will be recommending Dynasty Weddings to all our friends and family. We'll forever be thankful for Chris and Dynasty Weddings for making our wedding day incredible.

When we first met with Chris, the owner, we immediately knew that we would go with Dynasty Weddings. He is professional and easy to work with, which made us feel at ease since we were clueless of what went into wedding planning. We didn't have a wedding planner, but it really wasn't needed because we felt Dynasty plans most of the night for you! Chris gave us templates to give us an idea of how timing should go, while still being able to accommodate any special requests into the schedule. We were originally just looking for an MC, DJ, and photobooth but we found that Dynasty Weddings offers so many other services. They were able to officiate the wedding, MC in both English and Cantonese, set up a photobooth, and arrange a limo for us for the day.

Chris kept us organized throughout the entire planning process. We didn't feel an ounce of stress leading up to the wedding because we knew we were in good hands. When we arrived at the venue, everything had been set up, and the night went by incredible smoothly. The DJ played many of the songs I had requested beforehand, and integrated other songs that fit the mood we were going for. Both Chris and the DJ kept the atmosphere fun, and all of our wedding guests couldn't stop complimenting how amazing they were!

We hired Dynasty Weddings for their MC (English and Chinese), officiant, and DJ services. It was really important for us to include this component for our guests (some who only spoke Chinese) and was the second vendor we looked to book, right after finding the venue so we did a lot of research before finally meeting with Chris. We felt immediately at ease when we met Chris. He was so professional and friendly. We knew he'd be the right fit for the job. Leading up to the wedding, Chris kept us organized with his schedule and template of questions. And on the day of the wedding, he did an AMAZING job at keeping all 260 of our guests organized, informed, and more importantly, smiling and having fun. Many people came up to us during and after our wedding to let us know how awesome Chris and the DJ were. They said the organization and breakdown of the scheduling was PERFECT and there was never a boring lull. The DJ had everyone dancing and paid close attention to the instructions/playlist we had left him prior to the wedding. We have gotten many inquiries on who our DJ was and how we found him. People are still raving about how fun and beautiful our wedding was and we owe a lot of that to Chris and the DJ. Thank you so much for all your patience, help, and amazing memories. We truly had the best day of our lives that day and it would not have been possible without your team.

We hired Dynasty Weddings for our wedding anniversary and it was the best decision we made. Music was really important to me and my wife and I wanted everyone up and dancing. DJ Lo and his team was able to adjust to some last minute changes we had and was able to get all our guests dancing throughout the night. I highly recommended Dynasty Weddings if you have an upcoming event, you won't be disappointed.

This is a long overdue review, but I can't say enough good things about working with Chris and Dynasty Weddings for our wedding. My husband and I decided to do a local Chinese wedding in addition to our destination wedding, and we needed a DJ and MC that could cater to a diverse crowd. We were so lucky to have come across Chris- not only was he super easy to deal with and do business with, but he was very responsive and detail oriented, making sure my husband and I didn't need to stress over the entertainment portion of the wedding. Chris was the perfect MC for our wedding - he is bilingual, so he was able to communicate in both English and Cantonese. As an example of his thoughtfulness- at one point my mom made a speech in her native tongue, and without us asking him to do so, Chris translated and summarized the speech in English so everyone was able to understand. Our DJ was excellent as well- our guests loved the music and Chris and his DJ made such a good team. I can go on and on, but basically, you can't go wrong with Chris and Dynasty Weddings!

Chris and his team did an awesome job keeping my guests entertained on the dance floor as well as helping us capture the memories with their photobooth.

We had a multicultural wedding so Chris was able to speak Cantonese and English (obviously) to our guests.

He was able to also accommodate me with short notice to project a slideshow of our previous wedding ceremony with a great AV setup.

Lastely Chris gave great value for the services and he was very helpful in getting us through our timeline and helping to distract the guests when we were running behind schedule.

Highly recommended!

My husband and I had the best wedding ever with the help of Chris and Sisi from Dynasty Weddings. Chris assisted us with organizing our wedding on the phone and us 3 adjusted the evening's schedule on google drive doc. We really appreciated his time in organizing the schedule with us and being on the phone to give us suggestions because my husband and I never planned a wedding before so we were really clueless. Sisi was the MC at our wedding. She was phenomenal. Her and her crew. They provided the music for our ceremony as well and my favorite part that stunned me was when our ceremony ended and we kissed each other, and turned around, the crew played the best part of the song at that moment. We chose "Fireworks" by Katy Perry and the crew played the best part of that song as soon as we kissed and turned around. It was totally professional, unplanned and just perfect. Sisi was so professional and she was definitely lively. She brought the crowd to the floors and made our wedding fun and exciting. She spoke in Cantonese and English making both friends and family who only understood Cantonese or only English included in every way. She had fun games and crazy ideas. My guests continued to compliment Sisi and the music crew after our wedding as they were impressed with their awesome service. They even thought that I paid a fortune for the MC and music crew because they were exceptionally professional and experienced. To be honest, it was such a reasonable price because Dynasty Weddings is based in New York and my wedding took place in Berlin, NJ. The fact that they drove all the way to me and did such a phenomenal job at performing for my wedding was awesome. My guests also LOVED the photo booth. Dynasty Weddings made our wedding stand out and our guests thought we had a fancy wedding!

Chris saved my ass a billion times on my wedding day. As a multi-cultured couple, we needed services that were bilingual in Chinese but catered to my 2nd generation needs, so initially, we signed up for the DJ and lighting (to take care of the often garish, yellow lighting in most Chinese banquet halls), with MC services and tea ceremony coverage. Then we did ceremony and cocktail hour DJ coverage. Afterwards, as the weight of double the traditions increased, we then added Day-Of coordination and it really ensured things went as smoothly as they did!

Chris himself ends up being the coordinator, and the MC (with a co-host), he was so attentive to our needs and the needs of our parents and our vendors (even our photographer, Adrienne Longo, felt taken care of by Chris!), being able to respond quickly to the absence of a particular beer that a family member enjoys, to adapting to the indecisiveness of my family, he was a picture of calm and efficiency the entire day, keeping the day going, keeping things moderately on schedule, and running cups of water to us. He received vendors, and helped me tip them and keep our belongings safe. He was the MVP, being able to communicate so well in both English and Chinese!

The DJ and cohost were also just as lovely, helping us with requests and being attentive to our needs. Sisi, the cohost, was really accommodating during the tea-ceremony, guiding my in-laws through, keeping my family going, and keeping everyone entertained. The DJ was really responsive to any requests we had, and open to suggestions to killing the music from one band.

If you're a multicultural couple, especially one with a slipping grasp on her 1st language (guilty!) or are American-born Chinese couples, Dynasty Weddings is a must. Chris is almost prescient in how he knows what you need and what everyone who is part of your wedding needs! Keep an eye on him, he's going to corner the market.

My wife and I wanted the best MC/DJ/photo booth vendor for our Christmas Eve wedding and we found it in Dynasty Weddings! I lost count of how many vendors we met with but time and time again Chris Chen’s Dynasty Weddings was by far much more superior. He was easy to talk to and work with. He was able to offer everything we’d asked for. We needed MCs who could read and speak Mandarin/Cantonese/English and a photo booth where we could use a custom logo. Chris Chen and his crew did a wonderful job. Their staff also made my wedding a very joyous, fun and memorable one. I’d recommend Dynasty Weddings to anyone reading this and especially my friends/family. Awesome job!

My wife and I live outside the NYC area, so finding a DJ and other vendors for our NYC wedding wasn't easy. They had to be very collaborative over the phone, and of course be good at what they do. We knew that the DJ and music was a crucial part of having a successful and fun wedding, so that was one choice that we reviewed thoroughly.

Chris and the Dynasty weddings team was nothing short of fantastic. They were our partners in the planning process and of course on the day of. We had a 500+ person wedding, so that was no easy task! The emcees were energetic and engaging, and the DJ top notch. He played music that kept people on the dance floor the WHOLE time! :) So long that many missed out on their dessert because they were having such a good time.

If the quality, and style of music that is played at your wedding is important to your wedding, and you're looking for emcees that know how to manage the audience, Dynasty weddings is the team you're looking for.

My husband and I recently had our wedding a couple weeks ago, and we had used Dynasty Weddings as our primary source for wedding planning services, MC, photography, and videography. We admittedly started looking into having a planner very early, around a year before the wedding date, so it was understandable that there wasn't very much that could be done that early, especially since we were planning a relatively small and simple wedding, and thus responses to our questions weren't always immediate. I also felt we would be difficult to deal with since we were both currently located in Los Angeles, but my family (and thus the wedding) would take place in New York City, so throughout the entire time we could only communicate via long distance methods like phone calls and emails. We actually didn't get to meet Chris in-person until about a week before the wedding.

However, once it did start to get close to the wedding date, Chris proved to be invaluable to us. Not only did he help us with the main things that we would need for a wedding throughout the year (since my husband and I had absolutely no clue what needed to be done), he also helped take care of the numerous little things during the week of the wedding. Everything from getting the cake, to delivering the wine, to dealing with the decorations, to scheduling our time with his photographer and cameraman, to organizing the music and being the MC at the venue. It was also very important to me that the planner be bilingual since the older folks in my family couldn't speak English as fluently but still wanted to be involved as much as possible, and I was so happy to see that Chris was professional and friendly whenever he had to deal with them. Our simple wedding had no need of a DJ, but Chris was as providing as he could be to accommodate all our needs. I honestly don't want to think about what I'd do without Chris on the day of.

We first met Chris at our close friends wedding and loved dynasty weddings work. Chris was an amazing speaker and very professional. The music was also great and kept the crowd flowing the entire night. We immediately knew to inquire about his services for our own wedding. We were so pleased and greatful for the amazing work they provided. As a bride, it becomes so hectic during the day of the wedding and though I felt the frustration from my matre d because we weren't able to follow the schedule due to amount of guest we had (300 guest), Chris was the one who made me feel so at ease. Not only did he have all my guest out on the dance floor the entire night enjoying themselves, he was able to make me feel relaxed so I can actually enjoy my wedding instead of worrying about everything else. He saw the anxiety on my face and he took the time to come over and tell me everything will be okay and actually made the transitions of the schedule so smooth. The wedding was such a success and my guest still are talking about the amazing time they had at my wedding. I couldn't have done it without Dynasty wedding.

We needed a bilingual English/Chinese MC/DJ team to make the night a blast for us, Asian Americans, as well as our more traditional Asian families.

Simply put what Chris and his team delivered was just that. The MC had great energy and style to entertain both the English and Chinese audiences. He was in constant communication throughout the evening making sure we were comfortable and happy.

We provided a sample list of music that we liked for the DJ. The playlist that was customized for us was on point and guests raved about how awesome the DJ was.

We purchased a package that provided wireless uplights that really added flavor to the venue. Uplight colors can be changed throughout the evening and flashout many colors during dance sets which was very cool.

The evening went great and we couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend checking them out.

My now husband and I knew it was very important to find a good DJ/MC to keep our guest entertain at our wedding. Having a great DJ/MC sets the tone to any event. Dynasty Wedding came highly recommended by friends who also used them for their wedding. We had planned to meet with a few DJs but after our initial meeting with Chris we knew we wanted them for our wedding.

We weren't too specific with our music choices apart from a few songs for our First Dance and Entrance to our reception. Dynasty Wedding did a great job keeping the dance floor packed all day long. There was never a moment that the dance floor wasn't packed! Our guests had a blast dancing the day away! We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Thank you Dynasty Wedding.

Things even got more simple when we chose Chris Chen as our photographer for our wedding.
Chris is a very seasoned professional and it definitely shows. We really appreciated how well he organized things with us and our other vendors and made sure the timeline was perfect. He was easy and fun to work with and very flexible. He really got a sense of what we had in mind for the wedding, and made helpful suggestions where needed. We can't wait to see the rest of our photos after viewing his wonderful work of art on the wedding teasers photography.

Very professional and well organized. Chris Chen MC'd and DJ'd our wedding and did a fantastic job with personalizing our wedding with the songs that we wanted from our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Very reasonably priced and attentive to our needs during the planning process. Our guests enjoyed his energy during the reception and he did a good job with keeping on schedule with our day of wedding activities. Highly recommended especially if you want to have an English/Chinese wedding. Chris Chen also does photography and a photo booth but we did not utilize these services.

When my now wife and I met with Chris the first time for Dynasty Weddings, his professionalism and knowledge sold us. We did our research and/or met with other bilingual MCs and DJs – Dynasty was not the cheapest one, but I am certain it was the best value. If you’re reading this, that means you’re probably looking for an MC/DJ for your wedding… and you probably already know that how important a good MC/DJ will be to make sure you have a great wedding. You don’t want to save a few dollars and end up with someone who can’t keep the party into it or just doesn’t know what they’re doing.

When we first booked with Chris, I honestly had my doubts. Was he going to be that much better than the others that we researched, especially for the price? As the months rolled by and we came closer to our wedding, I felt more and more confident that we made the right choice. Chris was helping us with the minute details, giving us his experience and expertise, but also at the same time, giving us the freedom to make the party ours. Either via conference call or night time meetings, Chris fit us into his busy schedule to make us feel at ease. I don’t want to give away any of what might be his trade secrets, but his method for planning is definitely effective.

At the end of the night of our wedding, my wife and I agreed that we made the right choice. Everyone raved about the whole wedding, and it was in large part due to an MC/DJ that could really keep the audience involved. We had guests of all ages, from young kids to much older adults… a party of almost 400 people. There was never a dull moment and the dance floor was never empty.

We also bought the package that included the party booth, which was a huge hit. My recommendation is an enthusiastic 2 thumbs up and I would recommend them to ANYONE who needs a Chinese/English (or maybe just even 1 of the 2) wedding.

We recently had our wedding and contracted Dynasty Weddings as our DJ. We were looking for a DJ that catered to my Spanish roots but also to my husbands Asian roots. We were also looking for an MC that would speak English, Spanish and Mandarin. Which was extremely difficult to find. We wanted both our families to understand and be a part of our wedding and Dynasty Weddings made this possible. I only had two requests, everything needed to be said in the 3 languages and I wanted to dance and everyone to have a good time. Well let me just say I danced so much I hardly took any pictures, which I regret a little. :-/.. But hey I got what I asked for :-).. All our friends and family couldn't stop talking about how great the music was and how hot our MC's Raul and CiCi were. All and all I would recommend Dynasty Weddings they did and amazing job!!

I'm going to cut all that dialog of all the tough decision making and stress prior to finding/booking a wedding dj, I'm going straight to the point. Dynasty Weddings was definitely the greatest. My guests had an absolute great time. The MC was great in getting the crowd hype and interactive and the dj was ON POINT. I have a mid to late 30's crowd so it's a bit more challenging to get them to go out and dance as we're 'older'. I told the dj play some old school set and BAM, it was non stop after that. He mixed new and old, hip hop to edm to reggae. It was GREAT! I didn't get to hear or dance as much as i was too busy at the bar but all my guests said it was one great party, in which me and my wife wanted. Had a destination wedding in NYC and needed a DJ setup with lighting. Contacted Chris Chen at Dynasty Weddings and from the beginning, he was very attentive to our needs. We made contact with him and he instantly provided us a quote that was very reasonable. We locked him in for the wedding about 6 months out and he continued to coordinate with us about all of the specific needs for the reception. He had a lighting package of uplights that we added on 2 days prior to the wedding and he delivered on time. On the day of the wedding, he and his crew showed up, set up both the ceremony and reception systems with no issues, and once the ceremony begin, Chris changed into an appropriate suit for the occasion, which was a class act on his part. During the grand entrance, his lighting technician created the energy needed for a spectacular entrance for all of the party. They had great mood lighting during the dinner part and continued to provide us great service. At the end of the night, he came up, gave us a handshake, and we were fully satisfied with his services. I would recommend him to anyone wanting a quality wedding DJ at a competitive price!

We were recommended to Dynasty Weddings from a friend. We were not disappointed in the level of professionalism and quality of their service. Chris and his team played an integral part of our wedding day. He was very easy to approach and responded promptly should any questions arise. Our MC Ming provided the bilingual service we needed which made the wedding day enjoyable for everyone. We were very happy with Dynasty Weddings' service and professionalism! Chris Chen made the process very seamless for us. He made us feel comfortable from our first meeting and made sure all the bases were covered from beginning to end. Dynasty Weddings was flexible with the services we wanted, which included photography, DJ, emcee and lighting. On the day of the wedding, everything went very smoothly. There was great communication with the other vendors and the venue. We never felt rushed that day and were able to get all of the photos that we wanted in. We had a bilingual emcee who did a great job of keeping all of the guests engaged and getting the party started. We had given a list of songs we wanted to be played during the reception to Chris and the DJ was able to take the list and run with it. Dynasty Weddings didn't have any trouble getting the guests on the dance floor! Our friends and family all told us they had a lot of fun at our wedding and we have Dynasty Weddings to thank for that.

We are glad we chose Dynasty to provide our DJ service. They were able to accommodate our music tastes and requests. Very telling when I saw that my guests were on the dance floor throughout the day. Chris was very easy to work with and when there were times we could not meet him in person, we were able to coordinate a few details over email. We also used them for their photo booth services. If you're looking for a vendor who can provide multiple services and done in a professional manner, I highly recommend Dynasty Weddings!

I want to throw another party just to hire these guys again. Chris Chen and his team are top notch. They are so detailed and professional. Everything is all about quality with these guys. Our wedding guests are still talking about it-and want to use their services for their future parties!

Planning such a big event is stressful. But, Chris and his team made you feel assured and confident of every decision that went into planning this shindig. As I look back now, I realized I wasn't very communicative and was maybe procrastinating on the details-but Chris was super responsive and got everything done with a smile.
They were very accommodating and supported our ideas.

They truly made our night one to remember.

Dynasty provided the music for our wedding day -- ceremony, cocktail hour, and or course the reception and also the MC for the reception. We had some family members who were did not speak English so thought it would be helpful to have a bilingual MC which was part of the reason for working with Dynasty and they did not disappoint!! We were at ease with Chris from the first day we met with him to go through our options for services and the differences in the packages offered. He didn't up-sell us to services we didn't need. Throughout the months leading to our wedding, Dynasty was responsive to our many one off questions and were very helpful in helping us coordinate the schedule for the day of our wedding.

The DJs who worked our wedding and MC (Ming) were super flexible with us the day of our wedding!! We were (still) adjusting some of the songs (i.e. father-daughter dance, month-son dance, etc) right up to the night before the wedding and when the DJs and MC realized that some of the songs changed, they were very cool with it, went with the flow, and just modified their play list on the spot to what we wanted. On top of that, my husband envisioned a "big entrance" at our reception which involved coordinating the timing of our entrance song to a certain section of the song and the DJs completely nailed the timing which made my husband's night! Lastly, Ming was super-energetic and great in pumping up the guests from the entrance of the bridal party to the end of the evening. In addition, he was also great in coordinating with our maitre d at the wedding venue the chain of events for the evening and making sure we knew our "schedule" for the night. We are very glad we used Dynasty Weddings for our wedding as they certainly helped make sure our day went smoothly and that we had a memorable wedding!

Dynasty was terrific! We met with Chris multiple times and each time he was easy to reach, eager to speak with us, and remembered us and our wants from one meeting to another. Chris also provided us with a good wedding day timeline template so we could organize our day without having to hire a day-of wedding planner, which was awesome.

We booked him for DJ/MC with a Chinese translator and everyone was very professional. The translations were seamless and she was very soft spoken, much to my liking. We booked the full DJ booth, photobooth, limos, and hair/makeup and everything went according to schedule. Our music was on point and our dance floor was always full.

We hired Dynasty wedding for our wedding and couldnt be happier. The DJ was great! We had a younger crowd and it was always packed on the dance floor. Multiple people complimented us on the DJ. The MC was interactive with the crowd and made the night great! He also made us aware of what was coming up since we were so busy with guests!

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone.

Dynasty Weddings did a terrific job at our wedding. We hired them for DJ, bilingual MC, lighting and photobooth. We met with Chris a couple of times before the event to go over the schedule and he is easy to work with. The team is professional and helped make the night enjoyable for our guests. The MC was lively and encouraged people to dance. The DJ played songs we requested as well as appropriate dance songs. The DJ booth cover provides a nice presentation, which all DJ's do not have. The photobooth operator was friendly and got people involved with wearing props for the photos. I highly recommend Dynasty Weddings. We did not have to worry at all about these things, allowing us to focus on other parts of the night.

My wife Debbie and I (Im Ray by the way) first engaged Chris Chen in our engagement photoshoot. We are extremely satisfied with his work. All his shots are natural and remarkable. He captures the moment.
At first we were choosing other vendors for photography, but in the end we chose Chris because we know he'll just take care of everything. We also got them for dj, mc, limo, and screen. He and his team are very professional and always on the go. Very quick and efficient! We just love how he took charge and tweaked our schedule. Chris and his team were great to work with. Chris was very professional and help guide my husband and I through the whole process. I am the bride and I just had my wedding at HYATT REGENCY OF LONG ISLAND. We used DJ and MC Ming we were really happy that Dynasty had a trilingual service between cantonese /mandarin and English. Chris Chen and Dynasty Weddings made our Chinese wedding banquet exactly all we hoped for! He listened carefully to our needs and executed perfectly. We had a destination wedding the month before, so our parents hosted a 240 guest banquet which was a mix of family, their friends, our co-workers, our friends from college, our friends from high school, and children. I am Chinese American and my husband is Caucasian, and Chris did a great job of moderating of our interpretation of a traditional Chinese banquet - a cocktail hour, 12 course meal, 1st dances, slideshow, dance performance, and a Chinese game all in the afternoon. Our MC did a nice job of announcing the program in English and Mandarin, and our DJ was impressively managed a flow of music to keep all ages and groups entertained and on the dance floor. Chris' photography was unobtrusive yet ever present. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the banquet and highly recommend their services.

Our wedding was this past Saturday at Chateau Briand in LI. We booked Dynasty for DJ and MC, ceremony audio, and the reception Slide show. We had an american style wedding, but we wanted to incorporate chinese elements (ie. the tea ceremony), so we needed an MC that spoke Chinese and that understood Chinese traditions. Chris worked out most of the details with us and created the slide show for us. Our MC was Ming. Both were great to work with and are clearly experienced with weddings. Ming is super nice, very patient, and best of all we ran behind schedule and he adapted extremely well. The music selection was great. For our ceremony we decided to change it up and walk out of the ceremony to a remix of here comes the bride, and Chris was extremely helpful with that too. All in all a great experience working with these guys.

Dynasty Weddings made our wedding day spectacular; simply put.

Our wedding took place out at Woodbury Country Club in Long Island, NY on May 19th, 2012. From the ceremony to the cocktail hour through the main ballroom event, Chris Chen and his team did exactly what we wanted/expected and more. They adapted very well to changing schedules and timing, as well as decisions on the fly. Nothing was messed up. And to be honest, my wife and I only met with him once to discuss everything. Aside from sending him an agenda with songs/timing and the day's schedule, as well as getting him photos for him to compile a slideshow, we didn't need to do much or worry about anything. Had we had more time to prepare for our wedding (planned it in 3 months), we probably would have gone out of our way to perfect every last detail of the wedding, including the DJ/MC schedule, which would have been completely unneccessary. I can tell that Chris Chen is very well versed in this industry, and has a great deal of experience putting together excellent events, with little or no effort from us, the client. (-: Thanks for that....it saved us a lot of stress.

I would recommend Dynasty Weddings to anyone, whether interracial, white, black, asian.....it doesn't matter. We were a Lebanese/Polish groom and a Chinese bride getting married, and they were able to cater to us and our party perfectly. 5 out of 5.

My wife and I were very happy with the job Chris did at our wedding! We used Dynasty for DJ and MC. We needed an MC that was able to speak English and Chinese fluently and he did a good job. The thing we loved the most from Chris was his ability to get people out onto the dance floor. It didn't matter if they were young or old, everyone came out to the dance floor and partied hard. We've had compliments from friends stating that they had the most fun at our wedding and it was all thanks to Chris and crew.

Chris did a great job at my wedding! He was our MC and Photographer. I am very picky about the way I do things and exactly what I want and Chris was able to adapt to my taste and needs to have someone speak both fluently in Chinese and English. He did a great job keeping us on time and was very good about finding my husband and I to let us know when things were coming up. He kept the energy up the whole time even though he was working more than 14 hours that day. I would strongly recommend Chris to anyone.

Dynasty Weddings provided DJ service at our wedding and we could not be happier with the results. I had the most amazing experience with chris chen and his entire team. Everything from the photo direction and the planning of the day was executed perfectly. They are not only there to take photos but they are also there so make sure everything runs smoothly. As a bride you are taking in the day as much as you can and of course you can forget things. Well good thing I had chris and his team to remind me of the schedule we had planned together. Chris is personable and is there to make suggestions and make sure your day is perfect. At the end I was presented with beautiful photos that I will have forever to remember the special day. Chris is funny, nice, and genuinely cares about your wedding day. To top it off his photos are phenomenal. His photography skills get better every time he shoots. I am almost jealous of all the brides that shot with him after our wedding :)

Videographers were wonderful and charming. They made everyone feel comfortable. They had a great sense of humor which i liked. The video was wonderful when we watched it after the wedding. Im glad we got the video as some people dont think about needing the video after their wedding but i think it provides a different perspective and can also capture moments that the photos might not have gotten - and believe me there will be MANY special moments.

DJ & MC were AWESOME! My wedding would not have been fun and such a success without them. I had a wonderful time. The music i suggested was played as planned and we all had a blast!

Overall Dynasty Weddings is an all in one shopping experience. When you are trying to look for vendors that genuinely care and have the same goals- this can be hard...but not with dynasty weddings! They are incredible with their passion for weddings! I think I made a really good choice when i chose dynasty weddings to do my wedding. Kudos to Chris Chen and Dynasty Weddings for making our wedding day the most memorable experience! After many hours meeting and reading reviews of multiple vendors, we decided to go with Dynasty Weddings. Not only are they at the top of the industry, Dynasty Weddings fine tunes their high standards to cater to your needs. We went with the MC/DJ, photo booth, and photography package. The MC did an amazing job keeping everyone entertained while making sure we were on schedule with our wedding timeline. The DJ was on point and mixed in all of our "must play" tracks. Our guests never left the dance floor. The photo booth was the highlight of the night. Our guests, old and young entertained themselves throughout the night getting creative with the props. We couldn’t stop smiling or laughing when Chris delivered the photo booth pictures. The photo booth is a must for all weddings. Last but not least, the photography service; words cannot express my reviews of our experience with Chris. Unlike many photographers, Chris made the effort to get to know us. He did not take the cookie cutter wedding photos but captured our personality. We will cherish our photos for a life-time.

Our decision to book our wedding with Dynasty Weddings was one of the best ones we’ve ever made. Although all of the vendors we hired for our night were fantastic, I thought Chris Chen and his staff were exceptional. We were looking for someone who could be a DJ and MC for the night in English as well as Chinese. As simple as we thought it would be, we ended up interviewing with several DJ companies and yet none of them offered what we were looking for. Very often, we came close, but it was not until we met with Chris that we knew right away his company was the one for our wedding.

After our initial consultation, we were able to work with Chris via email, text and phone calls. He is very prompt and never forgets about his clients. I felt he was always available when we needed his advice or assistance. I will never forget how he had put his two cents in when one of our family members tried to put down one of my decisions for the wedding. He made her realize the wedding was about two people, just me and my now husband. Chris understands this and stresses how weddings should really be about the bride and groom. Although families definitely have a part in the planning, it really should be the bride and groom making final decisions. I especially appreciated Chris stepping in to help our families understand this.

It was quite easy to plan out the music selection with Chris. We just sent him a list of songs to give him an idea of what we liked and he did the rest. He did such a great job at sending us all the information we needed to finalize our music plans for the evening.

My only regret regarding Dynasty Weddings was not booking them for his other services like photography, makeup and videography. The vendors we hired were good, but I began to see how professional and outstanding Chris Chen’s staff was. I was simply amazed. A few days after the wedding, Chris sent me a few pictures of the venue that we had taken before our event began. The quality of his photography blew me away. My husband and I were very impressed and will consider Dynasty Weddings in the future for other smaller events. After working with Chris, we know that he is flexible and very fun to make decisions with.

On a personal note, I’d like to thank him for giving my husband the opportunity to learn from his phenomenal photography skills. This proves that Dynasty Weddings is more than a wedding venue – their staff really does care about you and are willing to be there even after your event has been completed. From our wedding, I can confidently say we not only have discovered a wonderful DJ/Wedding Service from Dynasty Weddings, but we also have made a good friend. Thanks, Chris!

I had a traditional chinese banquet in NYC, which is usually hosted by a bilingual MC (who usually offer DJ services as a package). Other friends that have gone this route didn't particularly care for the MC they used, they didn't show up on time, followed their own format, weren't professional, etc. I finally decided to meet with Dynasty Weddings - it was the only MC/DJ in the NYC area that I couldn't find a negative review!

I met with Chris Chen who was very professional and I could tell he had alot of experience. He was enthusiastic and put me at ease right away and answered all my questions - I booked him right away as my MC/DJ. He is also a photographer, I decided to book him for my engagement photos after I looked through his portfolio. The session went great and the photos came out beautiful. Not the standard couple pose, very artistic without being cheesy.

For my wedding day, Chris also provided the ceremony music and kept us on schedule throughout the night. I also bought a gobo and LED lighting package - it transformed the venue dramatically. He also put together a great slideshow (with music) of pics we gave him. He was a fantastic and fun host, everyone asked if he was a friend of ours - my guests felt very connected to him. Added plus is that he wasn't TOO chinese. The DJ services was great too, they played all my requested songs and people were going crazy on the dance floor. Yes, there was a difference price-wise compared to other companies, but I did not regret one single penny. I had a fantastic wedding and it took alot of stress off me knowing that Chris was around to keep everything in check. I absolutely recommend Chris Chen/Dynasty Weddings for photography and MC/DJ services, even if you are not having a chinese wedding!

In the beginning, we researched a number of companies to photograph our wedding. In the end, Dynasty Weddings was much more professional and personable than the others. Chris is a great guy and possibly the best photographer we have met. He helped us all throughout our wedding with everything. Chris was always available with the click of our Blackberries. He also has great recommendations for other services that he doesn't provide. After other research, we went with the wedding cake baker and stylist that he recommended with excellent results. His whole team is great and worked really well with our schedule. Sometimes you would hear of other photographers who would get in the way of your celebration just to get to a shot but Chris and Bill got great pictures without interrupting the party. The MC was just exactly what we needed and understood what we wanted with the type of guests we had. He interacted really well with our guests and kept our celebration on track. The DJs were great as well. The music complemented our styles and really kept the dance floor packed. They introduced a good compilation of slow and fast songs. After the wedding reception, we received so many compliments on how much they had fun at our wedding. Some even have said that our Chinese wedding was the best they have ever gone to. We have Chris and his team to thank for it. After our reception, Chris worked immediately on our pictures and his teaser pictures were on his site within days and after seeing them, we cannot wait to see the rest. Thank you Chris.

We hired Dynasty Weddings to dj for our wedding and we have nothing but the highest praise for them. Chris Chen and his team were excellent! Our dance floor was packed the entire evening, even during dinner. Fantastic job! They made our wedding so wonderful and so fun! These guys were fantastic. My wife and I were already married abroad last year and so this was a smaller reception for our friends and family in NY. We were kind of winging things, but Chris and his crew were experienced, polished, and professional, and helped guide us through the evening, making good suggestions where necessary and accommodating our special requests. Their music choices were great, as well, and got the whole party dancing. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and to recommend them to any of my friends, particularly those of Chinese descent who want someone experienced with Chinese weddings.

Excellent vendor. Superb service, professionalism, and value. We had a minor challange with our wedding but they were very helpful and worked with us in every way. We were only going to use them for photography only. A few weeks later, we signed up videography with them. A month later, we signed up MC & DJ with them and about 3 months of working with them, we signed up hair & make up. We enjoyed working with them so much that we bought the whole package with them. A lot of our guests spoke very highly of them after our wedding.

Our wedding day went very smoothly with many thanks to Dynasty Weddings. We all had lots of fun on our special day.
Rieko, the makeup artist, along with her friend was punctual and did a great job - the makeup was flawless and beautifully done.
Peter, the photographer, was wonderful with a keen eye for spotting good backgrounds to work with and had really fun spontaneous shots.
The DJ/MC duo were very detailed and personable - enabling them to work with the entire crowd. The photo tree was a huge hit! I definitely recommend the package with it - the kids began asking us for autographs on the photos and we ended up with a line of people wanting the same - making us feel like celebrities! Chris - his organization skills and his priority for client satisfaction - made this all possible. He is flexible and listens to our ideas and incorporates them in to the plan.

My organizer, Chris, was great! I was very busy and used mostly email to contact him. He responded within 24 hours. On the occasions that i needed to meet up with him, he was willing to drive up near my home in Queens. He brought his laptop and showed us a fantastic presentation. He was professional, well prepared and willing to work with us on any details we wanted to change.

Chris provided us with a fantastic dj that played appropriate wedding songs. My biggest fear was that the dj was going to play popular songs, but songs that weren't going to be appropriate for a wedding. For example, one of my friends had a popular song, which sounded nice, but started off "I had a bad day..." thank goodness our dj didnt do that. He was great!

I also had a semi-traditional asian wedding. Chris was able to find a great mandarin mc for the tea ceremony. The madarin/cantonese mc was enthusiastic and not annoying too loud like some mardarin/cantonese mcs i've seen at friends' weddings.

Chris also made sure the timing went according to schedule, which would have been very difficult for us to do, since we were too busy greeting people.

I am extremely extremely happy with Chris and Dynasty Weddings for providing us with their special services on my most important day! I highly recommend them!

Chris Chen and the Dynasty Wedding Group definitely are being recommended to all of our friends. Out of all the vendors we had, Dynasty were the only ones where we received only compliments from our guests. Music mix was great which also included some for our ballroom dancing guests. I wish we could've used them for photos too because our photographer(another vendor) was absolute crap.

I used Dynasty Weddings for my engagement photos, city hall wedding photos, and wedding reception photos. The photos were absolutely wonderful. Chris and Kevin have a great sense of artistry and creativity, and it definitely comes through in their work. Also, their quality of service was exceptional. I know they have a lot of clients, but they were always very quick in responding to my emails and phone calls. Working with such professionals put my mind at ease, at least with respect to my wedding photos.

Chris as our emcee was a true wedding professional. His event orchestration abilities were impressive. He managed the venue, the DJ, the crowd, the wedding party, and us so well that we didn't even need to worry about having a good time! He was an excellent crowd motivator and managed to get a normally stagnant group of people to dance and become engaged. It was obvious that Chris was an experienced wedding emcee as it showed from his level of professionalism, confidence and meticulous attention to detail and quality. In the end, what mattered most was that everyone (especially us) had a great time, and we didn't break a sweat doing it!

Awesome professional service! We used Dynasty Weddings for our music, mc/dj, photobooth, slideshow, and lighting. Meetings to plan and organize were informal, low-key and low-stress. During the wedding, everything was handled by the crew effortlessly and we really felt like they took care to make sure all the details were in place without asking too many questions. Ming the MC was amazing - bilingual, knew how to work the crowd and kept everything classy and fun! Music was on point. We could not have hired a better service for our wedding. We only regret that we did not use them exclusively for our big day (we hired a different service for photography/videography way before finding out about dynasty weddings).

We are so thankful for having Chris as our MC/DJ for our wedding reception! Not only is he a really nice guy, but he is also a true professional with such talent at what he does and demonstrated experience. We especially appreciated Chris helping us navigate our tea ceremony and family photos at the very beginning of our reception -- what could have easily turned into utter chaos amongst our large family was very expertly managed by Chris, who did a great job keeping an orderly flow during that time and throughout the evening. His bilingual skills were also invaluable, as our guests were half English speaking and half Cantonese-speaking, and he did an excellent job working the crowd and getting the guests up and dancing on the dance floor. The DJ was also really nice and accommodated most of our requests on music for the evening! Dynasty Team is the best! We had a traditional Chinese Banquet in NYC. During our first meeting with Chris and Ming, we had no ideas what we should and should not do on the wedding night. Not only did Chris and Mind took the initiative to inform us of certain things we need to keep in mind, they offered their expertise in all areas that we need to pay attention to. For example, the run down of the night, how to budget time for each event. How we decided to have Dynasty Team was from an actual wedding that my husband and I attended in 2008. At the end of the event, we witnessed how professional Dynasty Team was (I was the MOH of the bride, so I knew how much work they actually did). My then boyfriend, now husband already decided that they will be our MC at our wedding day.

My husband hurt his back 2 weeks before our wedding, and I was very worried that during the night, the groomsmen would go crazy when forcing him to do certain games. Ming did a perfect job to keep all of the unnecessary things that the groomsmen asked my husband to do. Our wedding banquet was a big one, actually it was 400people (40 tables), Ming did a great job for time management for each and every event of the night, he made sure things run smoothly, despite such a big party we had.

We highly recommend Dynasty team to all the newly engaged couples who are planning for their big day. Planning for the biggest day of your life is extremely stressful, but we are sure Dynasty Team will help you through out the process and make every stressful moment into a memorable moment. In fact, we are thinking to have Dynasty Team for our "Trash the dress" session!

All-in-one bilingual services, great music, would recommend!

My husband and I were looking for an Asian-American officiant and DJ for our wedding, and we were so lucky to have found Dynasty Entertainment.
Chris was the officiant at our ceremony and the MC for our reception. He gave us a sample timeline and vows that gave us the structure we needed to make our wedding just right for us. If I had any questions, I could call him and get an answer right away. Chris was invested in our love story and carried out his responsibilities very thoughtfully so we didn't have to worry about anything on the day of. He brought in DJ Wali and sound tech Thomas who were an amazing team in mic'ing our ceremony and in bringing everyone to the dance floor during the reception, playing hit after hit seamlessly. They also incorporated popular Chinese songs that we requested ahead of time. As MC, he worked closely with our venue staff to coordinate timing of food and dancing such that everyone had a great time, and he was flexible when our toasts went on for too long. We were very happy and impressed with Dynasty Entertainment and highly recommend especially if you're looking for Chinese/Cantonese-speaking wedding services!

Chris was very easy to work with for our entire wedding process. He was also our MC for the wedding night and accomodated our request by having both chinese and english. I made some last minute changes and Chris was flexible enough to accomodate to it all which made me felt at ease. We also went with Dynasty wedding for ceremony music. We can't say enough about Dynasty Weddings and Chris Chen Studio Photography. Our guests could not say enough about how awesome the MC and music was at the wedding. So many guests said it was the most fun wedding they have been too and everyone was out on the floor. Ming The MC kept the party moving at a great pace, directed us, and kept the crowd involved. We are still complimented on our wedding months after it was over.

Chris did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. I was more than pleased. During the engagement session, he was very flexible and very creative with how he shot the photos. We took tons of photos, but it was very fun, and they came out amazing. He also was very professional with his response time in the days leading up to the wedding. Any email that I sent, received a timely response, and any change that I wanted to make was not a big deal at all. I can't say enough about the job he did at the wedding. His prices beat out the other competition.... Chris & his team are the best!!

We were so glad we booked Chris/Dynasty Weddings for DJ/MC at our multi-cultural wedding. We didn't know much on Chinese traditions, but we did want to be sure that our Chinese guests were entertained and everyone was aware of the wedding day events. Chris went above and beyond for us, and was very accommodating of our schedule. This was a concern for us as the night started due to guests arriving late, but Chris stepped up and ensured that everything moved along with out a hitch. Having a multi-lingual MC was perfect for us since we mixed a lot of traditional american wedding reception events with the 11 course Chinese dinner. We had food, dancing, lights, slideshows and lion dancers. He accommodated for all of this without much direction beforehand. All our guests LOVED the photo-booth as well. Everyone raved about our playlist and the whole wedding, which we feel is in large part due to Chris pulling it all together -- even with our lack of upfront planning. We would suggest Dynasty Weddings for DJ/MC of any wedding, whether traditional Chinese, American or a mix of both (like ours). We were beyond impressed with the service provided.

Dynasty Weddings was wonderful! We were looking for a DJ/MC provider that spoke Chinese, and Dynasty Weddings was everything we needed and more. They were very professional and accommodating. We booked them for our wedding this pas July and it was perfect!

Chris was very helpful and available throughout the process of the planning. He provided a detailed timeline for the wedding and what will happen at each stage of the event. You expect a few things to go wrong during the actual wedding, but if anything did go wrong, it was dealt with and we didn't know about it! We were very pleasantly surprised that everything went as planned.

We hired Dynasty Weddings to take care of practically everything: DJ/MC, photography and videography, hair and make-up, photo booth, and the limo. They did not disappoint. The DJ/MC were wonderful; we were able to provide them with a list of songs and the type of music we wanted played at the wedding and they were very accommodating. They also provided the music for the ceremony with the song that we chose. Everything went through without a hitch, as far as we know. The photography was superb, there were some really amazing shots. And the video, while it took a couple of months longer to complete, was beautifully done and not over-edited. It was very candid. They also provided the photo booth and the props, which was a smash hit with the guests.

The only con I can think of was the limo that they hired to get us from place to place and to the wedding venue: it was an older model of the limo and it looked a bit beat up. But it got us where we needed to go!

All in all, it was a wonderful experience working with Chris Chen and Dynasty Weddings.

It was a pleasure working with the Dynasty Wedding team. Chris was helpful in answering all of our questions and provided us with a wedding day template that was extremely helpful! Dynasty was wonderful! I found them on theknot.com because I was looking for a bilingual (Chinese) dj. We initially met with Chris just for the entertainment, but ended up booking him as a photographer too. They were very helpful throughout the planning process. I loved the timeline that they created for the wedding day and we followed it to a T!

Only drawback was that they did not play the songs that we had requested to be played at our wedding. My husband and I asked that they did not play club music like Pitbull and Kesha, but they played 5 songs in a row like that and then sprinkled in 1 song off of the list that we made. I would advise that they mix in some more contemporary music for all generations to enjoy.

Chris and his team from Dynasty were great to work with. He was always responsive and willing to work with us on assembling a package that worked for our needs and budget. His DJ for the night (Billy) kept the dance floor packed and the party went on throughout the night. Recommend for any bride that needs a bilingual Chinese / English emcee.

Chris did our wedding back in Nov. 2013 the over all experience was really good.

We book almost everything with Chris: DJ, MC, photo booth, limo, engagement pictures and wedding pictures. It was great having one person to talk instead of multiple vendors. The DJ and MC were great, spoke both English and Chinese really well. The limo was on time and very roomy. My engagement pictures and wedding pictures came out great! I love looking back at them and seeing all the canned moments. There was an extra photographer at our wedding which was a great surprise, he was able to capture my husband and his groomsmen getting ready. The only one thing that I would have changed was the photo booth attendant, he wasn't very attentive and the album he put together was very lacking (not sure if he even put together the album) and he didn't collect a copy of all the pictures for us. However, Chris did give us a CD of all the photo booth pictures so I did get to see all the pictures. I spoke to Chris about this after the wedding and he didn't charge me the extra hour we had with the limo because of what happen.

Over all I was very happy with Chris and his team (minus that photo booth attendant).

We had an emcee, dj, ceremony and cocktail music coverage, limo service and a photobooth renal from Dynasty Weddings. Here is each service in detail:
Our emcee Ming was awesome. We wanted someone Bilingual who can do minimal translation for my asian guests and he did that well. He was also very energetic the whole night and kept us very informed on what was supposed to happen next. He cued me to change and made suggestions according to the time schedule of the night... For example, we originally had "the shoe game" planned, but Ming mentioned that we can either play the game, but my guests will have their dancing cut short or we can just dance. That was really helpful bc the night wen by so fast, the dancing was much more worth it.
For our DJ, (so embarrassed I don't rememeber his name!!) but we were very happy wih the selection he picked. You have he option of submitting your own list of songs but Hubby and I weren't picky. Sound was great, vibe was upbeat.
Ceremony & cocktail music, to be honest, I can't remember what was played during the cocktail hour, or whether something was being played at all... But it didn't make a difference because we were outdoors on a rooftop and it was pleasant with or without. Chris did also suggest you supply a list of cocktail music of your choice if you desire. As for the ceremony, the only thing i would have changed is to make sure you have the details down. This was not Chris' fault, it was something we overlooked on our side. I would suggest to specify to chris, who/if you want someone walking down the aisle with you, whether you want the doors to be closed after ceremony starts, whether you want to have your guests cued to move up and fill seats up.
Photobooth was amazing. The open booth is by far better than the closed booths ive been to. quality of pics were great. No comments on the limo, service was great.

Chris at Dynasty was extremely helpful in creating package that worked for us. He was open to our suggestions as well as offered his expertise in areas that we needed assistance in. His team was prompt and knowledgeable in getting things set up and down on the day of our wedding. And most importantly, there was never a down moment, our guests packed the dance floor the ENTIRE night!!!

Great vendor!

The Dynasty team did a great job for my Asian American wedding. They were flexible in understanding how to run a Chinese banquet reception, while still having good songs to encourage the crowd to get up and dance. Lots of credit goes to DJ Lo, not only did he take into account majority of our songs, he added in some flair to mix things up a bit and had good sense to save all the fun dancing songs to when the crowd was ready. My guests enjoyed the photobooth and the manager was super nice about all the people waiting in line. Overall a very good experience. My only comment is the the manager of the whole thing may be a bit unresponsive at times but he did show up during the day to ensure his team was set up.

Chris was easy to work with, incredibly helpful, had loads of suggestions and completely flexible. He understands that it is a once in a lifetime day that passes all too quickly and does all he can to help the day go accordingly. He is very knowledgeable in the events of the day, things that can go awry, things that you never thought of to consider. Very professional to say the least.
