Photographer and his assistant were awesome. They do amazing work and so dedicated. Expensive but well worth it. One of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

My first experience with duke was my e-shooting in April and he took the extra time to take pictures even on our way back to parking lot. He is perfectionist and relentless to get the effect he wanted. The pictures were ready for me in may and they looked amazingly nice considering my bad make up that day.
The next time I saw him was on my wedding last weekend. I am sure the pictures will look great.
I highly recommend duke to my friends. He is friendly, professional, and artistic, his packages Are very reasonable for his quality.

If you cannot tell from Duke's work (check out his website and blog), he is a photography genius. The photos of my wedding day were the MOST important thing to me. I did not hire a videographer because I wanted to go all out on my photographs. Pictures will be viewed and shared again and again. I searched A LOT before I finally found Duke. Once I found him I was hoping that he was not booked on my date because I did not want anyone else! I did not want your typical snapshots - thousands of pictures staring into the camera with the same expressions. I wanted pictures that evoked feeling. Duke creates a lot of emotion with his lighting techniques and locations. He turns a dirty street into a piece of art or an alleyway into a romantic backdrop. He can make anyone look like a vintage movie star or a glamorous red carpet couple. He is very good at giving directives on how to position yourself and where to look, etc. This is super important to me, because if it is left up to me, well it probably won't turn out so great! He is very thorough and super easy to work with. Our engagement pictures are incredible. He even powered through our wedding day with a hurt ankle. That is dedication. And of course, our wedding photos are fantastic! I have so many favorites. You will not regret having Duke's gorgeous photos to look at and treasure for years to come.

Duke is, by far, UNPARALLELED! Our wedding was the 3rd time we used Duke (engagement party and engagement shoot were the first 2 occasions) and I must say he has gone above and beyond our expectations!!! He not only has a unique and artistic eye, but he's also extremely easy to get along with and most importantly, FABULOUS to work with! He will go out of his way (no matter what it takes) to get that PERFECT shot for you. His turn-around time is AMAZING (our wedding was less than a month ago and I already have my webshow!). I did a lot of research when I was looking for a photographer (because it's what was MOST important to me) and when it came down to it...Duke SURPASSED every other photographer in Southern California in all categories! Trust me when I tell you, he will be the GREATEST investment from your wedding! I know far too many brides with photographer horror stories...photos are what you will cherish the most in the many years to come, it's not worth risking or compromising at all! With Duke, you know you will get QUALITY, BEAUTY and PRICELESSNESS! Can't wait to use him for our next big occasion...THANKS DUKE!!!

Duke and his second shooter overall were great. The only negative was on the day of the wedding there was a need for someone either in the wedding party or family that needed to hold the light for the pictures.

Duke and his second shooter were wonderful. Perhaps our favorite vendor of the night. He's prompt, laid back, professional, easy to get along with, and encouraging. He clearly loves his craft. In fact, he made it feel like we were doing him a favor by agreeing to the great pose suggestions he had. He was busy taking pictures all night, without being at all intrusvie. We love his portfolio and are looking forward to seeing the professional pictures from our wedding!

Thank you for everything :) It was great to have Duke and his team be part of everything, yet not to be noticed. They got all the shots and even made a special photo shot with me and my dress, since I designed it myself. They really got to know Michael and I and what kind of people we are and caught on to what people are important to us and had to be in the shots. I thought Duke and his staff were very professional and artistic at the same time. Duke was wonderful to work with and the final product was amazing.

I absolutely loved my photographer. Not only was he classy, super nice and very efficient — he had to deal with a lot of problems and was really cool about it. He would say, “Don’t worry, let it go. Remember… just have fun!” He was also very fast in changing lenses and making quick decisions. He was very upfront and honest with you, but at the same time he was always gentle and very sweet. And his pictures were awesome! He definitely is a photographer you'd feel comfortable with on your wedding day.
