Wedding vision magical dream

Choosing Doba Miriam to design our wedding was the easiest choice; Her attention to details and the unique designs make my wedding dream comes true . Communication was great from the first meeting up to our wedding day. She really helps you to create a very cohesive and unique design catered to the couple’s interests. Miriam is very attentive in all you details and design. We were blown away with how beautiful everything turned out at the Hacienda Santiago, the tables , all the perfect flowers, My bouquet, how the entire venue looked elegant and magical . Working with Miriam was truly amazing. Do not hesitate and book with her !!

Forever grateful for Ms. Miriam - a Puerto Rican wedding dream come true

I honestly don’t know how to explain how amazing Miriam is. To say she made my wedding absolutely perfect, is an understatement. She absolutely listened to me and truly made my vision come to life. So many of my guests commented on how beautiful the flowers and decor were. She will work with you and is so responsive! Even her presence alone was so calming. I loved working with her and will recommend her to anyone looking for a florist and decor. So professional, so efficient, and I don’t think our day would have been the same without her. She even went out of her way to print off menus and seating charts for us. Completely taking that stress away and taking over. 10/10 experience! Love that lady to pieces!

La mejor decorada que vas a encontrar!

Míriam es simplemente espectacular en lo que hace. Cuando me contacte con ella no tenía muchas referencias de lo que quería y ella simplemente me dijo que confiara en ella y me sorprendió por completo el día de nuestra boda. El color y las flores que escogió eran simplemente perfectas y creo exactamente lo que queríamos. Todos nuestros invitados estaban enamorados de lo hermosa de la decoración.
Cuando recibi mi bouquet me di cuenta que Miriam es una profesional en lo que hace y le mete toda la pasión. De verdad que todo su trabajo fue increíblemente.

Stunning work!

We recently got married at Hacienda Siesta Alegre in Puerto Rico. We hired Miriam to do our flowers and event decor. From the first consultation to the many conversations in between and the day of Miriam was professional and amazing to work with. She payed attention to our wants, and needs and met our expectations 1000%. Our decor was beautifully executed and she created the magical day we were looking for. I would recommend Miriam for any and all your floral and event decor needs on the island.

You will feel like family

Miriam was always immediately available by phone, text, email, FaceTime. Anything! She handled any changes with grace and professionalism. Her work was amazing and our guests repeatedly mentioned how elegant the whole affair was. It was such a special moment on the day of the wedding when she presented the bride with her bouquet.

No Flowers!

You read that title correctly. The only thing I was adamant about was that I did not want any flowers. Miriam was amazing in decorating given the vagueness of my request and the fact that this was the one hard no we had. My husband and I chose our venue given the natural beauty that engulfed the area and I wanted that to be embraced, not competed against. After that idea, we told Miriam to use her expertise and gave her creative freedom. Boy did she deliver! We loved it all. From the bouquets to table decorations, everything was perfection. She is AMAZING!! We could not have been happier.

Wow oh Wow! DOBA was an excellent choice for my son’s wedding at the Royal Sonesta. She is incredibly talented with her gorgeous flower creations. Stunning Surprise

Miriam created our dream wedding. From the get go, Miriam was full of ideas and welcomed any and all feedback from my husband and I. I knew that Miriam was good- but HOLY MOLY did she blow us away the day of. I have never been to a more stunning wedding. Florals are my favorite part of any wedding and Miriam and her team made my jaw drop. There were so many different types of orchids and greenery, hanging displays around the cake which I adored. And to top it all off it was a complete surprise what it would look like. Miriam even hand delivered my bouquet to me, and let me tell you I didn't let that thing out of my site until the day we left Puerto Rico. Thank you thank you thank you Miriam. You made our wedding more than I ever dreamed it could be

Amazing - just what i asked for

I cant' express how thankful I am for my friend recommending Miriam Dobaño. She is so pleasant and fun to talk to and I just can't believe how perfect everything came out. Miriam brings all of the experience and joy

It was such a JOY working with Miriam on my flowers and decor for my wedding at Hacienda Siesta Alegre. She came recommended by my wedding planner and I trusted all the details to Miriam. Her experience and expertise with HSA is what led me to ultimately book her and did not disappoint. I sent her some photos inspiration and worked on some ideas together for the seating chart but she took the lead of the work and execution of every beautiful detail at our wedding. I was so happy and stress free on my wedding since I knew to trust all of her work. So happy with all of the flowers and decorations that elevated the beauty of the venue. Thank you Miriam!!

Amazing Experience

DOBA went above and beyond with the floral decor and left us speechless!! From the start, Miriam was super kind and attentive. We had a conference call initially to discuss my vision for the wedding. Miriam took notes, kept in contact, provided great feedback and was honest throughout the process. That meant a lot as I live in a different state and had to trust all would turn out as planned. Hacienda is already gorgeous venue and with that said, DOBA was able to enhance it even more!! I recommend DOBA hands down for your wedding decor. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Absolutely Beautiful and a MUST!!!!

I 100% recommend DOBA by Miriam, who is an extremely talented Florist and Decorator who created a beautiful masterpiece beyond anything I could have ever hope or dream of for my wedding. She is so beautiful: inside and outside and it's reflected in her work. Miriam is so passionate, extremely professional, and you cannot go wrong with her. She responds very quickly and actually listens to what I was looking for. She provided advice and allowed me to stay in my budget while still giving me the best! It didn't matter how many times I changed my mind, she was always there to listen and take notes. She even incorporated my Cambodian background into the decor with the flower. It was such a sweet surprise. The Bouquets and Boutonnieres were exactly what I wanted (I pulled from Pinterest)

Seriously, all my guests LOVED the decor and flowers everywhere. I would pick Miriam 1000 times over because she is that phenomenal. From the planning phase to the day of the wedding, it was so seamless and so easy to plan with Miriam. Not to mention, she assisted in the floor design, seating chart, and found gold Tiffany chairs for me. She help designed the Welcome Sign and Seating Chart. Miriam made my day absolutely perfect and I just cannot thank her enough for all her hard work! Thank you so much Miriam!

DOBA is above and beyond your expectations

I married last week in Hacienda Siesta Alegre and we hired Miriam Dobano to do our decoration.

After meeting with several talented decorators, we selected Miriam because, not only is her talent evident when you see her decorations, but she is also the loveliest vendor to work with and was recommended by many other vendors. She is fair and gives her all to make your decorations above and beyond what you would expect.

I honestly think we got an incredible value for our money. She earned everything. She was fair, extremely easy to work with. I really just put all my trust in her. I answered a short questionnaire, sent her about 10 pictures from Pinterest and that was it. She literally made those Pinterest pictures come to life in my wedding. I was NOT expecting it to be so beautiful and that she would understand my vision so precisely as she did.

My wedding colors were light blue, peach and cream. I got the surprise of having blue water glasses (exactly like the ones I pinned on Pinterest) and that I was totally not expecting. I thought that would be too specific to find, specially on my budget. It was just BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Amazing Vision — Great Communication

Miriam did an amazing job with our small wedding. We showed her some sample photos of our vision and she ran with it. We never met her in person, but she answered emails and texts quickly and we totally trusted her. Reasonably priced and very willing to work with you for the best outcome. The Best Around

Miriam is the queen. She's honest and will tell you what looks good and what does not and I love that of her. Her job/art is stunningly beautiful. How she creates an entire different scene and different atmosphere with her decor is amazing. She exceeded our expectations. I loved every detail, every piece, every flower... just everything. She is organized and trustworthy, no doubt about it.

EVERYTHING, from ceremony to reception was GORGEOUS. Miriam is extremely talented and a MUST HAVE on your wedding team!!

The Wedding of my Dreams

Since my husband and I began planning our wedding we had a specific picture in our mind on how the venue would look like; classy, elegant, warm, Frank Sinatra playing in the background, vintage 1940s style. We were so specific that we didn't know if we would find a decorator that could pull that off; Miriam Dobano can. From the day we had our first meeting with Miriam over the phone, we knew we were going to have the wedding of our dreams. She kept close communication with us throughout the year, and dare I say we even became friends. She was so easy to work with, gave me recommendations on other vendors that were at the same quality level as she is, and gave me advice in wedding decision making. Overall she gave us the experience that only a person who's obsessed with giving their clients the best would. Not only she was the decorator of our venue, she also decorated our ceremony and she made our party favors for ours guests- absolutely delicious homemade coquito (Puerto Rican eggnog). My flower bouquet was gorgeous and we asked her to find a red carnation for my husband's boutonniere (we were going for the classical James Bond look). She decorated our venue just as we dreamed of - from the tall candelabras that gave the room a sense of grandeur to the black and white pictures of my husband and I special moments in gold frames in each table to the beautiful white hydrangeas that made the room feel cozy and warm. We were absolutely stunned when we came into the room and were blown away by how beautiful and perfect everything was. All of my guests were in awe by how elegant everything was, even comparing it to a movie. I highly recommend Miriam if you are looking for someone to make the wedding of your dreams come true.

Beautiful Work with DOBA!!

Miriam was my florist and decor extraordinaire for our wedding at Hacienda Siesta Alegre! She is an experienced professional with an excellent eye for detail. I had a few ideas from Pinterest where Miriam was able to use for inspiration and I entrusted her on the rest. Miriam is flexible, easy to work with and responsive. We had a Chinese tea ceremony prior to the wedding ceremony and she was able to add a few special touches for this Chinese tradition. Miriam also provided our seating cards and menu which came out beautifully. Our guests were in awe with how beautiful the venue was along with the flowers and table settings. She helped make our wedding an unforgettable time for us and our guests. Thank you so much Miriam!!

Miriam is amazing at what she does! She transformed our wedding venue into a magical space. The number one compliment our guests gave us was the decoration. Multiple people said they had never been to a more beautiful and elegant wedding.
Personally, I like pretty things but it's very difficult for me to come up with creative and beautiful ideas. So when I met Miriam I told her I'd like something classic, timeless, with greenery, and we eventually discussed adding marsala and blush which was such a great idea. I was never stressed because I knew it would be beautiful based on the pictures on her website. AND YET... the day of the wedding I was still blown away with the flower, decor, the details, and how everything came together.
Miriam will give you her personal cell phone and insists you call/text her with whatever question or detail you'd like to discuss at any time.
We gave her a set budget that she worked with. She never said, "I could do this... but it'll cost you more." She always presented beautiful ideas and alternatives within our budget. When we had fewer guests rsvp, she added and upgraded so many things like lounge furniture. It was fantastic. She even surprised me with an additional bouquet with different colors. Our sweetheart table was stunning and she handled our favors table with Puerto Rican trinkets. Everything was perfect and amazing!!!

Miriam was amazing to work with. Her quality of flowers was top notch! She was recommended to us by our wedding planner Maria Lugo. My husband and I fell in love with her creativity and flower arrangements. Through our Pinterest board, she was able to capture our vision and was very helpful with figuring out how to make it possible within our budget. The colors and variety were exactly what I wanted. The floral decorations were more than what we expected. Miriam had a specific design for our wedding and we were extremely happy that we followed her expert advice. She did an outstanding job and definitely went above and beyond to deliver everything we wanted. My wedding bouquet and flower arrangements were absolutely beautiful. Well what isn’t there to say about Miriam. Being a bride from New Jersey and having a destination wedding it is always difficult to leave you vision in the hands of someone else but right away my husband and I knew she would be the right person for the job. Miriam was personable, relatable, worked with our budget and was extremely flexible in her communication with us. She has a subtle confidence in how she carries herself that just explodes the minute you walk into your reception and realize that your reception is even more beautiful than you could have ever imagined. Every flower was perfectly arranged,
Every detail nailed, every candle perfectly placed, every menu, table linen, napkin just total perfection. WOW! Miriam even went through the trouble of going back to her home and transporting a sofa for us to help add to our decoration. She is truly a perfectionist, a professional and went above and beyond. Doba came recommended to us by our planner Maria Lugo and choosing her was the best decision we made! She takes the time to explain her vision or if you have been dreaming of your big day since you were old enough to walk, she will listen to you and help make your vision a reality. I happen to be the type that had zero vision of what my day would be so Doba took charge and walked me through all the details, sent emails with visuals and even helped with my Pinterest ideas ( I was new to Pinterest and making a hot mess, but that’s another story). I did not get to meet with Doba until the day of our wedding when she came to the room and presented me with my bouquet and the pictures do not do it justice! I could not be happier with the décor and flowers for our day. Gracias de nuevo DOBA, todo salió espectacular!

Desde que conocí a Miriam sabía que era la indicada y sería mi decoradora. Es de las personas que sientes que conoces de toda la vida, que te hace sentir “en casa”. Como toda novia, quería que mi “best day ever” fuera memorable, hermoso y que no le faltara ni un detalle. Miriam se aseguró de cumplir con todo lo que soñé y más. There are not enough words to describe Miriam and her team. From the moment I spoke to her, I knew she would be nothing short of amazing. My wedding just happened to be a few months after both Hurricane Maria and Irma. Being a destination wedding I had no idea what to expect and didn't even know whether or not I was going to be able to have my wedding at all. Miriam always kept me in the loop and even went to venue to see the conditions. She was always there for me to assist me in anything I needed. My wedding day would have never happened so smoothly without her. I truly feel as though my wedding decorations and flowers were right out of a catalog! My guest were in complete awe with all the details she put in to everything. Miriam sobrepasó cada espectativa que teniamos, cada parte de ese salon era una obra de arte. Definitely Miriam has the art to make an idea into a magical experience. At the beginning we did a concept artistic board to share with her, but we were more interested in how she interpreted the overall idea into her work. She has an exceptional talented team and their work is a perfect example of true passion. Funny story: we saw the venue the same day of the wedding, since we live far away, and we were blown away by the place at the beginning, but when we saw it after they had decorated it, it was a magical and memorable transformation. In addition, she is a joyful human being and gets involved throughout the whole process for the wedding.

When I was looking for wedding decors, our amazing wedding planner told me that I should meet Miriam Dobano since I wanted a bohemian/greenery wedding. The first time I talked to Doba (by phone), we just clicked! I only told her the venue and the theme and she started telling me some ideas that seem to have come out of my pinterest board. I felt as if she was reading my mind! I loved every recommendation and idea that she had! Her talent is limitless. I decided to go with her right away from that phone call.
Working with Miriam was a delight. She became a friend and therapist throughout the whole process. She clearly knew what she was doing. I remember she asked me to send her 10 pictures of wedding ideas I liked. Since I really liked succulents, I told her that I wanted succulents all over the place. On the day of my wedding, while I was getting ready the bouquet arrived and to my surprise, Miriam had gone above and beyond and place a combinations of different succulents in the bouquet. It is the most beautiful bouquet of flowers I’ve ever seen. That moment marked the beginning of a fairy tale wedding. Miriam's talent and professionalism didn’t cease to amaze me. Her attention to detail made our wedding everlasting. From the flowers to the linens, menus, and romantic candles. I would never in my wildest dreams imagined what she created for us. My favorite part was the way she helped set an area to put cutouts in D-boards of our pets. It was an amazing idea and great way to make our three dogs part of our wedding. I will always remember this detail and how, without being there, they were part of the wedding.
Every one of my wedding attendees came to me to compliment me on the flowers and decorations, and I have to say it was all because of Miriam. Gracias Miriam por tu talento y llevar la boda de mis sueños a otro nivel! We love you! Ida & Fernan

Miriam is one of those people who does her job out pure love, and it shows in her work. I decided early on in my planning that I would trust my vendors and follow their recommendations. Letting Miriam work her magic without me knowing anymore details than the chairs and a couple of other things was the best decision ever. I just told her what I wanted and my reception turned out being the most amazing one I have ever seen. She went above and beyond all my expectations and did the most beautiful flowers and tables ever. She got me to a tee. When I entered the room I was speechless. Her work is a piece of art and she truly cares about her brides having the most magical day. She is without a doubt someone I would recommend to any bride.

I went to a friends wedding and I loved everything about it. Soon my time came to get married and I asked my friend to please provide me with her list of vendors. She told me I HAD to hire Nerida as my wedding coordinator and Miriam Dobano as my decorator and boy was I glad I did!! A wedding is a very complicated production, but Nerida made it very simple and enjoyable for me. Every time I would get stressed she would tell me to relax and she took over!

My wedding was absolutely beautiful and I enjoyed every single moment!! Nerida coordinated the photographer, videographer, decoration, cake, venue, transportation, music, rehearsal dinner, my indecisions and she even had an emergency kit to fix my hair at the wedding!! ;-) Everything!! She was always available answering calls and messages. During the event she was always looking out for me and my husband making sure everything was perfect.
She guided me every step of the way!!

Miriam was wonderful too!!! I had the most beautiful wedding!! She gave me choices but also provided her opinions and experience that made the process much easier. Her confidence gave me confidence. There was never a no from Miriam! The day before my wedding I wanted to do something to include my grandmother that had passed away a year before. Miriam told me were to get a locket for a picture with my grandmother and made it part of my ?? bouquet! I had the most beautiful bouquet!!! All the flowers and decoration were amazing!!

Thank you Nerida and Miriam!!! If I had to do my wedding all over again I would do it exactly the same with you!!! I recommend them 1,000% !!! Thank you!!!! ?????????????????????

I had a Pinterest wall filled with decorations and flowers; I got so confused of what I really wanted, but when I spoke to Miriam she told me pick my favorite bouquet and ten pictures and to leave the rest to her. I did, and the result was BREATHTAKING! She and her team brought my dream to life. During the whole process she made me feel so at ease, it was like speaking with my best friend.

I always felt I was in good hands. My only stressful situation was the rain. Our ceremony was outside, during the rainiest month in years and as the day approached it got worse. On the day of our wedding, Miriam kept me calm sending pictures of our wedding location, to show me how perfect the weather was and that there was no rain in sight. I appreciated that so much. When I finally saw my bouquet, i was in awe. She surprised me by adding anemonas <3. I was so in love with it I carried it throughout the whole weekend, it was so gorgeous I had to protect it…and show it off! The altar was lovely and really complemented the beautiful scenery. As a guest book, we had our guests sign Xmas ornaments and the way she displayed them was really creative. Everything was more than perfect, i could not stop looking around to make sure a captures every detail. Throughout the night my guests kept coming up to me to say how beautiful everything was.

Miriam goes above and beyond! She was attentive to my "want list", very responsive with any concern I had and always had really great suggestions. The decorations were put together in time, everything we talked about and even more beautiful than we imagined. She is really good at what she does and you can feel that she loves what she does.You can appreciate all the love she puts in her wedding decors. My wedding was beautiful and she really worked with my budget. She would be the same person whom I'd picked over again and again and again...NO REGRETS CHOOSING MIRIAM DOBANO. Even after the wedding, she made sure I had pictures (before the photographer's photos), and also packed up all my take home souvenirs.

Miriam gives over 100% and she and her team are beyond talented . I already wrote an outstanding review of Miriam of the planning and coordinating we had prior the wedding, but after our wedding occurred last week and I saw the final results, I felt like I needed an update.

Miriam brought our vision to life to perfection. She needs almost no direction to execute and pays outstanding attention to detail. Miriam knows how to get things done and is a fantastic problem solver.

Logistically, we spoke once about a vision and added her to our Pinterest inspiration board. She and her team did the rest. We kept in contact then through email when needed and a final call prior the wedding to discuss some changes.

When I first talked to Miriam I felt so at ease, it was like speaking to a friend or family member.

Miriam is a wonderful person. My spouse and I had a couple of unrelated hiccups and Miriam helped guide us and offered super helpful advice.

Wedding planning can be stressful, Miriam and her team are not, 100% responsive. Miriam and her team executed everything perfectly " to a t " and went about and beyond our expectations from beginnnjng to end.

They were creative, had beautiful execution and were accommodating. The guest of our wedding were raving and still are all night about the beautiful decor and ambience. You have to see the pictures !!

Miriam also prepared some amazing flower arrangements for our rehearsal dinner. To say that Miriam was accommodating is an understatement . She made sure everything was perfect wall the time.

Throughout our wedding I kept looking around in amazement at all the beautiful decorations , I couldn't believe our wedding was so absolutely beautiful. I wasn't the only one thinking this.

Lastly, Miriam is an amazing person and super easy to work with. If you want it , she will find a way to make it happen. If you want the vey best, you have to hire her!! It was the best decision !!!!

Miriam is a very special person. She is simply the best at what she does. We didn't have much of an idea of what we wanted other than colors and and a vision of a romantic theme. Miriam Dobano is women with vision with spectacular ideas for any event! My wife and I hired her for ambientation and decoration of the most important day of our life: Our wedding!. We hired her for decorating our wedding and ended up being our wedding fairy godmother . We call her because we saw spectacular differents decorations of wedding ceremony and wedding receptions in different venues. Since the first moment, she was like an angel descended from heaven .We made click from the first call. By personal conditions , I could not see Miriam in person, only few days before the wedding and in the wedding day but, we communicated through texts, emails , phone calls and face time ! Miriam and her team (the A- team .... as I would like to call them) are the perfect ingredient to make your special day a "less stressful day". You can fully trust that your vision will turn into hers and from there on... she takes charge and simply makes things happen. She patiently sat down with me and listened to all my ideas. From our first meeting I noticed her attention to detail and her questions guaranteed that she understood my style and how I envisioned our wedding. During our conversation she asked about my grandparents to ensure they had a good place to sit (tables/chairs reserved for them) during the cocktail hour when most guests are standing. This simple comment made me decide right there that DOBA was my #1 choice. My grandparents are VERY important to me and that fact that she cared enough for them during our wedding meant a lot to me. The day of the wedding, when it all came together it was really a dream come true. Every detail from flowers, table cloths, ambience, candles.......were PERFECTION. And lets not forget about my "dream - out of the budget ideas", Miriam found an affordable way to make them happen.. this included my dream sangria bar and flower wall. Overall Miriam took our ideas, our vision and turned into something even better that what we imagined. She truly loves what she does this makes all the difference in the world.

Doba was amazing to work with! I was planning a wedding in Puerto Rico from New Jersey, and I would not have been able to do this without her and her amazing team. We communicated over the phone, email, text messages, shared pictures and it was stress free, which is crazy as the decor aspect of a wedding can be one of the most stressful areas. A-MAZING! Miriam is incredibly talented. Her aesthetic is romantic, elegant, and exquisite! My wedding decor was everything I hoped it to be. Three months after my wedding I still have guests telling me how beautiful it all was. I met her a few months before my wedding and showed her images of what I was hoping to achieve for my wedding decor (as a designer I have a very particular taste!). We had a great conservation about design and she immediately gave me professional recommendations and great pointers. She is very personable, professional and passionate. It is clear that she loves what she does for a living! She worked great with my coordinator (Brenda Garcia) and other vendors. Like my cake designer (I had flowers on my cake). Every detail Miriam touched came out to be beautiful. And my bouquet . .. ahhh . . . GORGEOUS! Exactly how I imagined it to be. Every flower used was beautiful! And light! she has a way to place candles and other decor in such a perfect arrangement. Miriam and her team did all of the flower arrangements and most of the decor (I made and printed a few things that she along with my coordinator were happy to setup). She listened to me yet made great recommendations where she thought things (like layout) could be improved. When the number of my guests was reduced last minute (like 1 week before the wedding) she worked with the rental place to interchange and add some items so that my money would be put to good use (I had already paid off the order). I know she will not disappoint! My husband and I highly recommend Miriam and her team! Muchas gracias Miriam! I can't thank you enough Miriam!!!

We are a couple from NY who decided to have a destination wedding in Wyndham Rio Grande, Puerto Rico on May 21, 2106. We had a small wedding of just 36 guest and therefore just asked for very small simple arrangements. I got so much more than expected!!!!! The sweetheart table was just gorgeous, we were in awe of all the decorations. She blew us away, there is a difference in work when someone does it with love, and trust me that MIriam does everything with Love.

I have no words to really express how wonderful Miriam Dobano is. She listened what I want it and like it. We were texting all the time because I was trying to show her what I like and she delivered. There are not enough words that I could use to describe the kind of service that Miriam provided. I have to say, my wedding was perfect. First of all, Miriam was very responsive since day one. I sent her some pictures of what I had in mind and she came up with a proposal that was just perfect. During the 11 months of wedding planning we communicated so she could get to know me and my now husband. She was ALWAYS responsive and her suggestions were to the dot. Miriam, is VERY detail oriented and she gives the extra mile. I was in awe when I say the ceremony and reception area. I am from Puerto Rico and my husband is from Peru. I don't live anymore in Puerto Rico so this was a destination wedding. The favor table was spectacular, so were the tables, and the BOUQUET was simply spectacular!!!! Out of this world.
My guests all send me compliments about the décor.

Her talent is amazing. She is approachable, and very friendly. I can call her today my friend. She is someone you can trust completely as to everything.

AMAZING! Planning a destination wedding is a little scary when you have never visit the place, however Miriam was exceptional , she made me feel comfortable since day one. She goes beyond her work. She gave me advice for everything and was always available for me and easily adapt to my hours. Once I got to PR a week before the wedding she had everything planned, it was so easy to go through everything with her, me and my family were so please we choose her. The wedding ceremony was outside, and it rained, however she did a great job and my decoration for the ceremony was amazing, she try to please me and my family with every details. She is just AMAZING.... the best vendor you can find, and I talked and research more than 8 vendors and I am very pleased I choose DOBA. She makes your Puerto Rico Wedding so special, my reception venue was Perla at the Concha Renaissance Resort, and she made it look beyond magical, every details was perfect. Miriam has the power to take your dreams into reality.

This woman and her team are nothing short of AMAZING!! I am so happy to be her 100th review. I cannot say enough positive things about her...her responsiveness, communication, thoroughness, and attention to detail are second to none. She NAILED it and made our wedding a complete dream! It was such a pleasure to work with Miriam for my wedding flowers and decor! She has a special talent for this!!! I was beyond pleased with her quality of work! Planning a destination wedding is not the easiest, but Miriam was very quick to respond and very easy to work with. From our first conversation when I was inquiring about her services, she emailed back and said she could talk immediately. That was the start of our relationship. She was so easy to talk to and had a HUGE portfolio of work she had done. I began to follow her on social media and was amazed at everything she posted. The comments and feedback were so positive from all her clients. But sometimes it's hard to believe everything you see especially when you haven't even met them! I was very nervous to pick a florist from so far away that I even contacted one of Miriam's clients to see how she liked working with Miriam and if she needed to give Miriam a lot of direction to put together her beautifully decorated wedding and she indicated she only provided a theme "vintage romantic" and her budget, I was amazed that Miriam was able to put together such an event without anything else. I feel the same way about her!! She needed no additional guidance and was full of ideas! I didn't have a theme to share with her so I just shared pictures of flowers and decor that I liked and she was able to recreate everything with her own personal touch! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for flowers or decor!!!

We planned our wedding from Chicago which was difficult for people like my mom and I who LOVE all things decorating! Had we done our wedding back home, I'm sure we would have spent the most time picking out flowers, table settings, etc. However, we knew we'd have to give up some control when planning a destination wedding. My friend's sister got married in Puerto Rico and did not have a good experience with her florist (many of her flowers arrived dead). Therefore, we knew we had to do our research and find someone great. Luckily, we were able to visit Puerto Rico about four months before our wedding where we had the pleasure of meeting Miriam. From the beginning, Miriam really seemed to understand what we wanted. I was very set on a romantic, traditional wedding and did not want anything "beachy." I was able to share my Pinterest board with Miriam, but I don't even think she needed it. She was so in tune with us from the beginning that I felt completely comfortable. However, the day of the wedding I was still BLOWN AWAY. We had given Miriam a generous budget since we requested a specific vision, but I still could not believe how absolutely magical it was. Even our male guests approached us to say how beautiful everything looked. I'd also like to say that throughout the whole process Miriam was easily accessible and a great communicator, but she also didn't bombard me with a million little questions which I appreciated having told her that I trusted her vision. If you're looking for a decorator/florist for your wedding, HIRE MIRIAM!! You will be amazed at her work and consider her a friend afterwards!

While Miriam's work speaks for itself (just check out her Facebook page!), nothing quite comes close to seeing her work in person. Coordinating with Miriam was a breeze, she's easy to get in touch with (we planned our San Juan wedding from San Diego, in fact we had never even been to Puerto Rico before the week of our wedding). We cooresponded by email and phone calls. I had a fairly tight budget for flowers and decor, but Miriam made every single dollar stretch. More important, and what really sold me on working with Miriam for our wedding, was her respect for our vision for the wedding. I described to her what I was hoping to achieve for our wedding flowers and decor, and she made it happen! She didn't try to transform our dream, but rather enhanced it. I am still blown away looking at pictures of our wedding. I cannot say enough great things about Miriam. I HIGHLY recommend working with her for any event. Very professional, sweet and honest, and she OVER-delivers to help bring your wedding dreams to life.

Remember Cinderella's fairy god mother? Well, that's Miriam. Everything she touched was nothing short of magical...simply breathtaking. Bippidi, bobbidi, boo!

Our wedding venue was Hacienda Siesta Alegre, which in and of itself is an enchanting place full of natural beauty and prestige, but the touches Miriam made truly enhanced the ambience. She brought what I imagined to life. The island suffered from a drought all year long, but on our wedding day the skies opened and showered us with a flash flood! At first, I was sad about this, but in hindsight, it was perfect. Miriam and her team were nimble and quickly arranged our ceremony to a covered area -- it was intimate and very romantic, no stone was left unturned.

Our guests were in awe, they loved everything on our tables -- the table runners, menus, table signs; they loved the guest book area and our favor table (typical Puerto Rican candies& souvenirs)...the oohs and ahhs kept coming. The flowers were spectacular -- our bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages were lovely. Although it rained, Miriam strategically placed decor and flowers in key areas to create focal points throughout the venue that gravitated one's attention to the detail...there was sunshine everywhere! We had a "heaven" table where we honored loved ones we lost. Unfortunately, we were missing a picture, but Miriam came to the rescue and added one more candle to honor my husband's grandmother. She was there during our "first look" and captured our special moment. She did everything from holding my umbrella and to bringing us special treats the next day when she visited the Hacienda to pick up her items.

Her thoughtfulness, attention to detail, art and talent is insurmountable. If you are seeking that special touch, that bibbidi, bobbidi, boo for your wedding or special event, Miriam is your girl!

Miriam is an amazing decorator!! She went above and beyond my expectations/vision. The flowers were beautiful and the venue turned out great. All of our guests were amazed with the look and feel of the event. Very high end feel and look, as well as up to date decor. She made it seamless and effortless to communicate. Miriam is a genius! She creates the most beautiful atmosphere with your vision. I couldn't have asked for anything more then what she delivered. I cried more when I saw our venue than up at the alter! I can say we had the wedding of our dreams and one that you only see in magazines. Everything was absolutely beautiful and detailed. The first time I met her, which was a few days before the wedding, she gave me such an amazing feeling of trust and decided to give her full control. She was allowed to do whatever she wanted. I'm so glad because the word amazing doesn't describe her work.
Every bride and groom should experience the rush of emotions we did when we first saw our venue. If you don't want a worry in the world the day of your wedding, have Miriam on your team. I'm beyond thankful I did.

I live in Dallas and got married in Puerto Rico. I was definitely not a hands on bride. I had an idea of what I wanted but nothing too specific. Miriam was so amazing at understanding what I wanted and making it a reality. I literally sent her a couple of pictures from Pinterest and she went above and beyond to make it a thousand times better. I had no idea my budget would go so far with her. She even surprised me with extra decorations on the tree we got married under and didn't charge me for it. Miriam helped me make my dream wedding come true. She went above and beyond all expectations. She is very sweet and very reasonable with your budget. She made sure everything was perfect as we planned. On the day of the wedding it was cloudy and rainy all day, the ceremony was supposed to be outdoor, she waited till the very last moment she could to wait for the rain to stop and the areas to dry to start decorating at the last moment. Miriam is a visionary, she transform your ideas into reality. I went to her with an idea of what I wanted, a beach wedding where everything you looked into was surrounded by love. I already had some decorations, she used them but also she added additional elements that made the the reception venue a dream come true. When I walked the sandy beach and saw everything I was so amazed. I still look the photos to see all the details she added into every table, or space.
She is great to work with. I will definitely have her in putting her magic into my future expanded family events.

I had found a vendor for my destination wedding who had great reviews but the moment my parents spoke to her trying to do business via email and phone, they were not impressed and did not feel good about it. My dad then found Miriam and it was such a blessing!! From the beginning she made us feel comfortable and that she can be trusted. I absolutely fell in love with her charm, ideas, and professionalism. She knew exactly what I wanted without me having to do alot of explaining. My dream wedding and I'm being very honest! Miriam delivered and capture our personalty and ideas perfectly. I was married under a tree and it was magical! Chandeliers, flowers, candles, it felt like fairy tale!
I used to have and idea of how my wedding it would look like but Miriam raised the bar to another level! In the reception, you could find details everywhere, from the perfect combinations of flowers, monogram menu, the exact pink flowers, perfect round ball flowers and little details that were brought by Miriam just for the occasion because that's the way she is. If you have doubts of what vendor you should choose, Miriam is perfect for you because you can trust her, she would ask the right questions to get to know you and by the end of the questions she would know exactly how your wedding is suppose to be. Every time I look at my wedding day pictures, I fall in love all over again with the flowers, decoration, and every detail Miriam came up with for our big day. I was absolutely speechless when I saw how Miriam completely transformed my wedding venue. Despite the sneak peeks she gave me during the days leading up to the wedding, I was blown away to see how she brought it all together. And, to be honest, I wasn't very much help! All I told Miriam was that I wanted were purple flowers (and I had no idea as to what KIND of flowers) and tiffany blue tablecloths...not exactly traditional colors. What Miriam did was amazing. A month later, guests are still telling me how beautiful they found the decoration and flowers. Not only is the value for the services and product she provides amazing, but Miriam's support and responsiveness in the planning stages really gave me peace of mind, especially in that hectic last week. Most important, Miriam truly loves what she does and her energy and passion for her craft is contagious. Thank you Miriam for making my wedding day unforgettable!!

We had the wedding of our dreams and Miriam was an important part of making it become a reality. I can say a million things about Miriam but I will need more characters to express how wonderful she was and how incredible she met our expectations and delivered more than we were expecting. Since the first day she was on top of everything. She listened carefully to every detailed I wanted and made it happened at our wedding. Words cannot describe how happy I felt when walking down the aisle at an amazingly and magically decorated church, and later on entering the ballroom at Club Naútico de San Juan. Miram really made our dream wedding come true. She not only inspired me with her unique ideas but she was also available at all times to answer questions and guide me trough the stressful journey of picking out the colors of the decoration (flowers, tablecloths and her beautiful accents).She really went beyond what I expected, Miriam is not only talented but she also understands how it is to work with different budgets and adjust to your needs.

I cannot express how amazing Miriam made our wedding day. She was such a pleasure to work with, so professional, and willing to work with any request we had. I'm sure in comparision to a lot of the other brides Miriam has worked with our budget was not huge but when I walked in our reception at Casa de Espana, it was breathtaking and more than we could have ever asked for. Miriam went above and beyond to give us extra touches to make our day perfect. I only gave her a few Pinterest photos of my ideas and she took it from there and created what I could have only dreamed of. Every detail was beyond beautiful and SO personal.

Miriam is so honest, creative, and down to earth. I would ONLY recommend her as a florist and decor designer for any wedding in Puerto Rico. I didn't think our venue could be more beautiful but Miriam did just that. All of our guests were amazed and took time to admire every detail. Words can't make justice to the dedicated, creative, unique work of DOBA at my wedding. I found her thanks to my wedding planner, Maria Lugo, who is also a very dedicated professional in the industry (found through WeddingWire.)

My wedding ceremony was meant to be at the beachfront of the San Juan Marriott, followed by an indoor reception. As my wedding day was approaching, a tropical storm was also approaching the island, hitting exactly on my wedding day. Miriam efforts to make me feel more relaxed within the whole deal of the storm and her execution made the weather conditions seem completely irrelevant. After all, she found a room with big glass windows in which we could still see the palm trees bending by the tropical storm winds, and our beloved ocean! That made our day even more special and truly memorable!

The ideas I have envisioned for creating the ambiance and atmosphere were a blend of some random things, but Miriam indeed made the perfect blend of flowers and decorations for both venues. Everything was perfect! Thanks DOBA!!!

Working with Miriam has been amazing. From the beginning, she understood what I wanted and always made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed.

The flowers and decorations at the church and reception were gorgeous! She went above and beyond. Everybody was talking about how great the decoration was. She also provided the chairs, table clothes, candles..., and everything looked perfect. I could not be more pleased. On top of being really good at what she does, she is a true professional, and really easy to talk to. She will make sure to create the vision you have.

I would highly recommend Miriam to anyone getting married in Puerto Rico

Miriam was referred to us by a friend who had also had her wedding in Puerto Rico. Miriam was a consummate professional, flexible and ABSOLUTELY made our vision come to life! Miriam asked great questions and was able to really "get us" and our vision and actually went above and beyond our wildest imagination to make our special day wayyyyyyy more beautiful and unique than we could ever think up!!!! Miriam's attention to detail is superb! Wish we could post pictures on this review! She is worth every penny- already have referred her to friends.

Miriam did the decoration for my rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception. I met her in person at my venue several months before and instantly liked her. She is a straight shooter, fiercely committed to her work and a great listener. She really has an amazing talent when it comes to understanding a bride's vision and bringing it to life. She also does everything possible to work within your budget and still throw in a few special surprises. You can tell she is someone who wants to go above and beyond for her clients.

I also found her to be a wealth of information in terms of things like vendor recommendations, stationery, welcome bags, etc. The one thing about Miriam that is a bit different to other florists is that she does not do a "table trial" before the wedding, where she puts together a table and all its elements for you. Some brides might be a bit anxious about this but I can tell you, I am sort of a control freak and I completely trusted her and knew that she would do something beautiful and in line with my vision. And she did, 100%. The ballroom was a dream. My father and husband, who had both been horrified when we got proposals (not because of Miriam's prices, more so because you never expect decor to cost so much), walked into the ballroom and were speechless. My brother in law came to me at the beginning of the ceremony and said he understood why I chose this setting and the room, etc. because it was absolutely stunning. Miriam took a plain ballroom (granted, with a killer beachfront location) and just totally transformed it. My bouquet was absolutely beautiful and my bridesmaids' bouquets were perfect for their dresses and the overall feel of the wedding. I highly recommend her and truly enjoyed working with her.

Choosing Miriam Dobano for the decoration of my daughter's wedding was one of the best decisions. She knew how to create an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere without neglecting any detail. She was available at all times to give us her advice and the best ideas, always keeping in mind our budget. Miriam is a true artist. It was a pleasure working with her.

We had our wedding at the Hacienda Siesta Alegre and couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of service and artistic touches provided by Miriam. She went beyond our expectations and seemed to understand the look I was trying to achieve. She also went out of her way to provide me with flowers for our rehearsal dinner. She also has a delightful personality!

Miriam helped me with the Baptism of my son and she made everything SOOOO SPECIAL!!! She did the flowers, candy bar, cake, and decoration and everything was beyond my expectations. All the guests were in love with her work. It was great working with her since she get involves as if it was the baptism of her child. I would definitely recommend her!!! Thanks Miriam for making this event so memorable!!!!!

My husband and I were blown away by Miriam's work. Leading up to the wedding I sent her about 5 pictures I pulled from Etsy to give her an idea of what we wanted. I thought she would do just what I sent her - the bare minimum, considering the very fair price we paid. Wow, I could not have been more wrong. Miriam went ABOVE and BEYOND what we negotiated leading up to the wedding. She brought so many more flowers and decorations than I thought she would, we were blown away with the presentation of our tables, center pieces, and ceremony set up. She added things like lanterns, drift wood, succulents, interesting vases - all things I didn't expect and would have never had the vision or creativity to include. Her style is tasteful and classic and she delivered so much more than we paid for. Our guests came up to me repeatedly saying how impressed they were with the flowers and decorations. I cannot imagine working with anyone who would have been easier or more accommodating than Miriam. She was absolutely wonderful!!

Miriam created the most beautiful and breathtaking ambiance for our wedding last December. She was always available, very enthusiast about everything and made me feel at ease all the time. We emailed each other, she looked at my ideas for the wedding and that was it: she made everything so much better, just perfect. Everyone has been talking about the elegant decoration and how all looked so well-thought-of.

She is THE best!!!
