We could not be more thankful to have worked with Dmitri & Sandra on our wedding day on Maui. They captured all of the big moments and the small details effortlessly. Being able to look through our photos together has allowed us to relive the entire day—every emotion and moment we didn’t even realize was happening at the time.
They worked together so seamlessly and brought such a calm, easy energy that made us feel completely comfortable. Most importantly, they allowed us to stay present and truly enjoy our wedding day without ever feeling pulled away or overly directed.
Leading up to the wedding, they were incredible to work with—helping us plan in a way that maximized our experience on the day itself. They were also so flexible and accommodating when we had an unexpected date change, which meant so much to us.

Working with Dmitri and Sandra was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding experience! From the very first conversation, they made us feel so comfortable and taken care of which meant so much to us. Neither of us are big “pose for the camera” people, but with them it never once felt forced or awkward. They have such a calm, warm energy that instantly puts you at ease, and we truly loved every second of working with them.
The photos are beyond anything we could have imagined. They’re stunning and timeless, and we’ll cherish them for the rest of our lives. We also really valued that they shoot on film. It gives everything this beautiful, authentic, romantic quality that feels elevated and so special. Everyone keeps telling us these are the best wedding photos they’ve ever seen, and we completely agree!!
The turnaround time was unbelievably fast too, which blew us away. We got to relive our wedding through these gorgeous photos within about a month!

If you are thinking about getting married on Maui, picking Dmitri + Sandra Photography is a no brainer!!! Our whole experience with them was a dream. They are not only an incredible photography team, but they are the sweetest, most fun couple to be around. My husband and I had never done professional pictures together before our wedding day, so we were definitely a bit nervous. All those nerves were gone as soon as we met Dmitri + Sandra. They have a way of making you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and we just had a blast. They captured our day exactly as we had hoped + we can't wait to look at these photos for many years to come! -

I have been a huge fan of Dmitri and Sandra's work since I started wedding coordinating here in the islands 8 years ago. Since then I have seen them consistently provided top quality imagery year after year for my clients and other beautiful couples. Every time I open a new gallery I am awe struck by the timeless beauty that they are able to monumentalize from a couples big day. Both Dmitri and Sandra are so easy to communicate with and are just a down to earth team that truly understand the important moments that you want captured.
They were my first choice when I got married on Maui and have become my family’s photographer for all of our milestones since. It's sometimes not easy to spend the $$ for photos when you aren’t sure how they will come out, but with D&S I never have to worry. The moments they have captured are worth every penny and then some.
I recently also invested in a wedding album with their guidance and that has been the absolute best decision yet. The heirloom quality, the thick pages, the leather cover.. **chef kiss** All of your favorite photos right at your finger tips! If your on the fence, you truly won’t regret it. My husband and I booked Dmitri & Sandra for both an engagement shoot session & to be our photographers on our wedding day. We had a small intimate wedding ceremony on the beautiful island of Maui & words cannot describe how amazing our experience was working with Dmitri & Sandra!! We truly appreciate working with them on the day of the wedding & months leading up to it. Since we were traveling from the out of state, D&S were always easy to get in contact with and really took the time to learn about us and our love story. Amazing photography!!
Dmitri and Sandra were a joy to be photographed by! They made my husband and I feel so comfortable. Sandra helped fix my dress at each pose change and Dmitri made us feel confident in front of the camera! The photos turned out better than we could have even imagined!! If you want to absolutely be stunned at how gorgeous your wedding photos come out then hire Dmitri and Sandra! Prior to working with Dmitri and Sandra, my husband and I took engagement photos which we ultimately felt like we are just not photogenic people. We did not feel this way when we received our wedding photos. Dmitri and Sandra are the most kind, patient, and knowledgeable photographers. My husband and I have never looked so good in photos!! They guided us through everything- how/where to stand, hand placement, head tilt, everything. We felt so at ease with them! Our photos came out stunning and we will forever be grateful! -

Dmitri and Sandra were my first and only choice when it came to choosing a Maui photographer. Their style is clean, light, and timeless. I had been following them on Instagram well before planning our wedding and when I found out they were available on our wedding day I knew the stars aligned. Then came the pandemic. Dmitri and Sandra were both communicative and understanding about the postponement of our wedding for another year. Our contract stayed the same and I am forever grateful for that even after a year where they likely missed a large part of their income. When wedding day came Dmitri was professional, fun and efficient. He got every shot that I asked for and then some. In fact we he got through our shot list so fast, we had more time to take our couples sunset photos which were a not miss to everyone I spoke to. Dmitri’s eye and familiarity with our venue made taking pictures so natural and easy. My only regret is not having him longer! Pictures were given back to us in a very timely manner with easy access. I my jaw dropped when I received our photos. I had very high expectations and they were absolutely exceeded. I’d been staring at other wedding photos while planning for 3 years, it was amazing to see myself and my husband in front of the camera with the talents of Dmitri. He captured the beauty of Maui and somehow had us in focus the entire time. I can’t stop sharing and posting our photos because the world needs to see how unique and timeless they are! I would chose Dmitri and Sandra all over again in a heart beat!!!!! -

We’re so happy we decided to go with Dmitri and Sandra Photography as our wedding photographer for our Maui wedding in September. They were very responsive to our emails and questions during our inquiry process. We were drawn to their natural, classic, and airy yet vibrant photography style and they delivered exactly that for our own wedding. Dmitri shot our wedding and he was very professional, punctual, relaxed, and provided helpful instructions to capture natural poses during our portrait session. Amazing Experience!
Fantastic overall experience! Communication with Sandra was great. Our conversations with her were very pleasant and natural. Email communication were quick and responsive. Dmitri was very professional. The photoshoot was really fun and relaxing. His instructions were easy to follow. The quality of the photos came out amazing. Also, one thing that we really appreciate with Dmitri and Sandra was their understanding and empathy with their clients during the pandemic. Last year, we booked them for our wedding before the pandemic. Once we all realized that it was not gonna happen, they fully refunded us right away. So it was no question that once we were able to travel to Maui a year later, we went straight back to them. Two very happy clients here. Highly recommended! -

They're the BEST!
My husband and I got married at Merriman's in Kapalua in 09/2019. Of their listed vendors, Dmitri and Sandra were our favorite of the photographers, by far. We were so thankful they were available to photograph our wedding! The entire process was smooth and professional. Dmitri was there the day of our wedding, and was very professional but also laid back, which helped make the process much less awkward. It took about a month before we got our first pictures back, but it was well worth the wait. They're stunning and beyond what we even imagined. Very thankful to have these pictures to look back on and cherish our special day. I highly recommend using Dmitri and Sandra if you're planning on getting married or engaged in Maui! -

Dmitri & Sandra are phenomenal! Josh and I just had our wedding on the Ka'anapali Golf Course and it was the perfect day. Already got sneak peak photos, and absolutely love them! If I could just drop my 1000 photo wedding album I just received as evidence as to why you should book with Dmitri and Sandra, I would. Telling you that the photos are incredible doesn’t do it justice. It’s only a matter of time until Vogue wants to feature us on the front cover, lol, the pictures are THAT good! Dmitri was our photographer for the day, he was calm, punctual, and snapped every great candid! He got along so well with our videographer and they really complimented each other very well. Jill Sent on 02/24/2018We are so happy we decided to go with Dmitri & Sandra for our destination wedding at the Andaz Wailea in Maui. Dmitri & Sandra are both so friendly, warm, and have an incredible eye for photography. Their dreamy aesthetic and amazing sunset shots caught our attention online. It was also very important for us to find photographers that made us feel at ease and had a great vibe. D&S checked off all the things we were looking for in photographers for our big day.
During our search for our photographers, we had narrowed down 3 different photographers including D&S and we were able to fly over to Maui to meet D&S in person to meet them. From our first meeting onwards, we were so impressed by their professionalism as they came prepared with a sample wedding book etc and were very responsive in answering our questions.
The communication process over email leading up to the wedding day itself was great as D&S always made an effort to be responsive and make us feel assured with helping us plan our timeline and offering day of tips. On the day itself, D&S were a dream team and I especially appreciated that their husband & wife dynamic helped my groom and I feel at ease as they were able to actually show us how to pose and make us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We received out photos in about a month which was a nice and swift turnaround just before Christmas and were SO happy with how the photos turned out. We received so many compliments from our friends & family as well. I also did a boudoir shoot prior to my wedding day with Sandra, which was the best decision ever! I was a bit nervous as it was my first time doing a boudoir shoot, but Sandra's easygoing nature and professionalism helped boost my confidence to feel like a supermodel. It was a fun time, and the photos made for a nice gift and surprise for my husband. THANK YOU D&S! -

When we were searching for photographers, we knew we wanted Dmitri and Sandra, their portfolio is amazing and their work speaks for itself. Dmitri was very easy going and made taking photos effortless. He helped us pick natural poses since we’d never been professionally photographed but also gave us a lot of freedom in what we did. I told him the types of photos we liked from their portfolio and he made sure to take those pictures for us. Our photos turned out so beautiful and exceeded our expectations. He also got us our photos (close to 700) right within the time frame he had given us. We highly recommend them, you won’t be disappointed!

Jen Sent on 05/13/2012We decided on a destination wedding in Maui, but being from California we had no idea what vendors to use. My coordinator at the venue had given me a list of photographers that she recommended and I look through each of the photographers’ profiles online and I really fell in love with Dmitri’s artist style. I loved his work and contacted him to see if he was available. He got back to me right away and it was very easy to set-up an account with him as well as arrange payment. A few days later I received an email with a survey to learn more about us as a couple, what style we liked, what moments were important to us, etc. It was nice to feel like he wanted to get to know us.
Once our wedding date arrived, my first meeting with Dmitri was that he was very nice. We were finishing up our hair and he took a few candid shoots of us. He was very patient and understanding of our needs. He brought his own great ideas, but also very open to anything that we came up with and wanted him to shoot. We are a very non-traditional couple, so we wanted a handful of goofy photos and he was absolutely fine with shooting our crazy ideas. We joked around the whole time and it made it very at easy for us. I think Dmitri had just as much fun as we did that day! He had our photos up onto a site for us to check out in about one week, which is amazing, but the photos themselves were even more amazing. The photos were more than I could have imagined and I would highly recommend him & his wifey to everyone!!! Thank you so much for capturing this day as I now can live it over and over in your amazing photos!
