  Gene was magic

  Gene was amazing ! He was so communicative through the whole process and we just knew he would deliver. And HE DID ! I appreciate that he let us drive the music selection ( and he understood our wheelhouse well ) but there were songs we wanted played as nods for certain guests. He also provided a safety net should we want or need it and given his reputation, I had no concerns. My personal favorite was his creative idea for my wedding walk song and I melted and knew we had the right DJ. Gene brought his magic to my wedding and I am so very thankful my stepdaughter referred him to us =)

  Very easy to work with Gene listened to what I wanted and needed. I have used him for several different events. Always punctual, respectful, the best

  I have used Gene on several different occasions he is always very easy to work with. He is the best around, he knows his audience and how to interact with them and to get the crowd moving and grooving, he knows how to keep the party going. I can’t speak highly enough of him !!!

  My restaurant/bar's DJ for 7 years

  DJ Gene has played at my location for 7 years. He is amazing! When we re-opened after the pandemic,
  we couldn't wait to have him back! He reads the crowd, knows what they'll like and gets EVERYONE out of their chair. His equipment is top notch, which makes the ambiance even better! You WILL NOT be disappointed!

  He brings the party !

  Gene did an amazing job sitting down with us and understanding the kind of music we wanted played and helped us pick out the wedding songs.
  
  They day of the wedding has arrived and let’s just say every some was played right on time for the ceremony and made it smooth !
  
  So now we are here at the reception and let me just tell you he knows how to get anyone and everyone up out of the seat and dancing! His range of music was endless and all of the transitions flowed well. He made sure everyone was having a good time!
  
  I had several compliments about his DJing and everyone wanted his information so they could book him for their events. Let’s just say he was the life of the wedding and I would without a doubt book him again !

  If your looking for a DJ who keeps your guest engaged, excited to be on the dance floor and having a great time …look no further. Gene is your man. If your date is booked change it he is the best out there! I don’t think one person sat down all night! Gene will make your night 1000 times more memorable!

  MeanGean is the best! My husband and I had Gene DJ our wedding and he did a fantastic job! He had everyone on their feet and dancing. Gene is very professional, easy to work with, and his service price is affordable.

  Amazing, wonderful, awesome! Gene is the best DJ. We had an perfect evening with 125 people for our 25th wedding Anniversary. This was a pretty casual outdoor BBQ/ Pool party. We partied until 3:00 AM to the perfect mixture of music. Very diverse group of people and everyone had a great time. Gene had music for everyone, he made this event unforgettable. I will be hiring Gene in the future for sure. I will now hire Gene for our much smaller gatherings also. I can't recommend him more highly. You will not be disappointed. Really, the best. Thank you so much Gene. Well done.

  Hands down the best DJ, I have ever hired. The pics I will share shows that he had everyone up dancing and all of us having the time of our lives! There is even a pic of DJ Gene up dancing with me and my daughter!!

  Gene Is a class act! From the very first meeting until the last guest goes home, he is professional, honest, and most of all keeps the party going. Gene did our wedding in 2013 and since then we have had many people ask for is information. You can’t go wrong when you select him for all your DJ needs.

  I am so glad that I hired Gene Griffin to be the DJ for my event. He met with us ahead of time to plan get to know us and plan for the event. He responded quickly to emails and phone calls, and was punctual about arriving early to set up. He kept the party comfortable, upbeat, and fun for everybody.

  I have known Mean Gene for a very long time and can honestly say I dont believe I have ever used anyone else when it comes to having a DJ at ANY event that I have. He recently DJed my birthday (June of 2011) and as always did a fantastic job. To be honest, I wouldnt recomomend anyone BUT him. He truly is that good...

  I have been to several events that DJ Mean Gene has DJ'd. He has always been professional, accommodating, but most of all fun. He has a great ear and eye for what people want and what he thinks they would like. Definitely one of the best DJ's in Virginia!!!

I have unlisted his services from Entertaining Bikers at two memorial rides as well as a ''Day in the Park'' remembrance for my best friend who lost his wife and grandson in a horrific accident! During those events he maintained a level of professionalism unmatched !I would recommend him HIGHLY for any event you are having!

  Our Wedding

  After 16 years, I still get calls asking for DJ Gene’s contact info. Our ceremony, and reception were amazing. DJ Gene played to our guests and had everyone on the dance floor. He entertained for my sons wedding a few years ago and so many people complimented on his professional, knowledgeable demeanor. Best DJ hands down.
